So, Chapter 112 is out.
We don't exactly get much of explanation or distinction from S5 ending ep.
Mori, he really just glued in the fangs for FUN! What even is the Mafia! (Plus, Dazai Laughed!) We had old man Yaoi. I am not going to talk about it as we already know what went down there. We got Kunikida, Atsushi and Tanizaki. And Gogol man being sad (it broke my heart again to see his reaction). Ngl, even i would be sad if someone killed my Situationship But not Chuuya calling out that Situationship, lol (That was my exact reaction when a friend of mine told me she was in one and how it works) SKK bickering, still. And Fukuzawa being handed the greatest responsibility.
All in all, everything we had seen so far, only an added reaction here and there.
Next chapter will most likely also follow through the rest of the episode. But nothing much is left, so chances are that we may get new content. Or latest by April.
This all seems well and good, but I'm suddenly feeling anxious about how things are going to progress further.
I've said time and again, BSD takes 'it can't get worse than this' phase and just proves it wrong again and again. We reach new rock-bottoms every time.
So, things looking up now, gives me anxiety that something is going to go horribly wrong. (Cue the flashback of the 'Two hours later' bit)
All things that can horribly go wrong:
Everything with Soukoku at Meursault. I find it so weird that we are not getting detailed explanation of how things are proceeding there. We have seen Dazai and Fyodor play mind games for so many arcs now, there is always an explanation at the end of each one. But this doesn't have that 'satisfactory' level of explanation yet. Yes, Chuuya again came to Dazai's aid, but how? How did Dazai knew that the Vampires were turned in his favor. Would killing Fyodor (if he actually is dead) really be wise? How is he sure that it was Fyodor plan all along to get killed and he played right into it? You know when things are kept ambiguous, as most things related to Prison break arc are, it means there will be some facts that will come in light later. And that's what I'm scared of because it can be anything! It does not help that Dazai is yet to take that antidote! What if it doesn't work? What is Nikolai goes for revenge? Since he love's loosing himself and that's why he fought, so what if he continues? Can Chuuya's gravity manipulation even be effective against someone like Gogol? He can just go from one place to another, dodge all of Chuuya's attacks. We also know he can use his ability with Dazai as long as he isn't touching him. What is he takes the antidote form the case before Dazai can take it? That makes him such a kryptonite for Soukoku.
Then we have,
The Shin soukoku's battle against whatever that (Fukuchi) was. Two hours, if you think about it is not a long duration of time for things to start fucking up suddenly. There must be something already laid in waiting for it to start going shit when time comes. We are yet to get the details of how the Vampirism is going to wear off. Because it does, Akutagawa was back to normal when he was fighting with Atsushi. Sskk teaming up is well and good, but can they stand against that being? They had a hard time dealing with Fukuchi only a while ago, this enhanced being will be much tougher than them. What if this also is set for failure? only for the world to be purged into more chaos? Maybe i'm being a bit to pessimistic, but i've lost confidence in the mangaka's they always do the unexpected and kill everyone's favs, fr.
That also makes me think
Will taking on the role of Mankind's leader, lead to Fukuzawa on a deeper end? We know he struggled earlier, before founding agency, with his assassination work. He had refused to work in the war for a reason. Won't this be undoing everything he's worked for so many years? Also, taking in that honor from their government (or officials, i don't exactly remember what it was. I'm talking about the appreciation symbol of katana'?' they received at the beginning of S4) that basically led them to take on that case that declared them terrorists. Won't taking the role of Mankind's Leader also make Fukuzawa susceptible to be declared as the Mankind's Enemy? This seems similar to that previous situation. Reminds me of how Ranpo called this responsibility, or last wish, a curse. And Ranpo is always right, so there's that. Maybe that's how they are going to introduce the next adversaries?
Too much uncertainty and what-ifs.

Call It Love (2023), Kang Min-yeong
This one makes me awfully sad. There are lots of things one can label as "wrong" and "immoral". Life isn't all black and white, no matter how hard we try to make it that way. As a woman, I tend to side with other women any chance I get, no matter if it turns out to be a big mistake.
Dong-jin, even if you're played by Kim Young-kwang, I can't let you off the hook, sorry.
Their break up makes me think it was a bit of everyone's fault. Sure, we could just oversimplify it and say they weren't compatible in the first place. We still have no idea what he did, but she cheated anyways, so this is where we should just shut up all together. Well, maybe they were both too young and inexperienced to deal with their parents' burdens. It's best to learn on other people's mistakes, but this time neither of them could escape their own selves.
Dong-jin's mother is one peculiar women nobody would ever want to meet in any kind of circumstance. Her son avoids her best way possible, but she always finds a way back into his life, destroying everything she touches. Min-yeong comes from a disgustingly wealthy family (I mean the woman drives a Maserati, that car scene alone made me weep), it's only natural her life is full of problems as well; her parents never approved of her relationship in the first place. For a girl who seems to be hurried into getting married, is there anything else that's left to expect besides a tragic ending? Dong-jin tried escaping his mother's influence, more or less, but same thing can't be said for Min-yeong. My guess is both were in great pain which they couldn't get rid off due to coming from such different worlds while neither of the two knew how to patch the void in between. Inexperience.
Dong-jin's biggest mistake was hiding his true face from his partner while insisting on keeping the relationship going. He hid his background, his childhood, his wounds, his identity. Is having a meaningful relationship even possible without taking the mask off at some point? Yet that's something he could never do but still, from his perspective it must have seemed as if he's doing fine as a partner. That's not how it works, relationship is almost like a living being, and putting up a wall is always noticeable, even when the other side turns a blind eye.
Certainly, him not letting her in on his painful past has a great affect on all that lead to their break up. While Min-yeong was looking for support in the one she loved the most, she was not getting any reassurance back and she probably blamed herself for him not opening up to her. That's something women usually do. And what do people do once they can't see a way out of a difficult situation? They become (self-)destructive. She could bend over backwards but she was just not the one he would move his emotional blocks for. From what we can see in the series, he didn't really want to discuss their future together and he kept pushing her away, presenting it as if she might be the one to push him away, some day, when she learns the truth about him (if she ever does).
From that perspective, their whole situation smells like trouble. Big, big trouble. She said herself her goal was getting married and having a family. I can't blame her for wanting those things. Is wanting something she subconsciously knows Dong-jin would never offer so wrong? Is loving a person deeply to the point of being irrational and practically dumb so wrong? Ah, but desperate measures are always wrong. Why don't we all collectively just bury this woman alive, why would we understand anything that she went through? It's not like something like that could ever happen in real life to any of us, right?
Honestly, the show presents Dong-jin as if he were an angel and not a man with severe mother/father issues. He's portrayed as a kind hearted protagonist with a high moral sense, who drowns his sorrow in alcohol while lying on the floor for days after Min-yeong's mom sent him the wedding invitation. I can't deal with kdrama mom thing at all now, they're a different kind of evil, I swear.
The audacity of "I won't let you in and I won't marry you, but I won't let you marry anyone else either" is something known for ages. That's probably why her mom sent the invitation in the first place. And all of that together makes me think he didn't treat her like a decent human being. Not because he chose that, but because he doesn't have the capacity for it. Not having the capacity, being somewhat aware of it and insisting on the relationship, because the other person displays so much affection and love, is as equally bad as cheating. That is actually also cheating. A person doesn't have to get involved with anyone else to be a cheater. It's enough to hide their wounds and not be honest about it. That alone makes me think the reason why he pretended not to notice she was out dating someone else hides behind his feeling of utter guilt. Guilt for not being capable of providing her what she needs, to compensate for building up walls and wasting her time all along.
Dating emotionally unavailable person, heck, living with one, is soul draining. It hurts like hell looking at a person and feeling as if you're staring at a blank wall. The pain of having to go through that daily is worse than your partner actually cheating on you once or falling for someone else and breaking up. At least that's how I see it; the pain it puts you through is not even comparable. The reason behind it might be in the fact that for cheating one doesn't need intelligence at all. To lure someone in your life, make them stay and to calculate how much of which part of yourself you'll give in each and every moment, well... In my eyes that's way worse form of betrayal. It takes a lot of brain. That's manipulation at it's finest. There's something very dark and vile about it; it can play with other person's mental health in the most brutal ways, where outcomes may be even fatal. And we have it right there on the screen. Min-yeong became an alcoholic. She let a man with mommy issues and extremely low self-esteem drag her down to the bottom, while he then carried on with his life as the main victim in everyone else's eyes. That's something men who hate their mothers do very often.
Her side was never shown (at least not yet), how much she must have waited for him to change, to open up at least a tiny bit, how much energy and effort she poured into their relationship. How many times she tried to get thru his walls. Sure, she made a huge mistake by contacting his mother first, but I can't blame her. Imagine how desperate she was in that moment; she went behind his back to check his phone and steal his mom's number. Even thinking of doing that is hitting rock bottom yet she went on and did it without being aware of what desperation looks like on her. As any relationship, theirs must have had a great start. Keeping his character in mind, he was most probably an amazing boyfriend at first. Once the honey moon phase ended, first problems emerged. He probably pushed it all under the rug. Min-yeong's mistake was falling a bit too hard and not breaking up with him sooner, probably thinking she could change him. Could be she wanted to prove her parents wrong as well, but for whatever reason, it hurts to watch her scenes and think about her psychological profile.
It's never one sided, that feeling when relationship reaches the breaking point. People don't want to be the bad one, breaking up first. It is a bit pathetic, not ending a relationship and enjoying the victim role saying "I've been dumped" any chance possible. Meanwhile, those same people treat their partner so poorly it's evidently there is no love left there. I'm not trying to use this drama, nor Min-yeong's character to justify cheating. Of course cheating is wrong. What I'm trying to point out is the following. Dong-jin's move - not ending the relationship and choosing to live off of his partner's energy until she turned into a wreck - is also just as wrong, if not worse than what his partner did. She obviously loved him more. What a textbook example; men with severe self-esteem (and what-not) issues pursue gorgeous smart amazing independent girls, only to ruin their psyche, changing them into something, someone unrecognisable operating on survival mode. Sounds a lot like a parasite causing a disease.
Min-yeong's left miserable in the end. She turned into an alcoholic who, even after all the hell she's been through, still thinks she might have a shot with this guy who never even truly accepted her. Oh the brain fog. Oh the twisted perception. All the excuses she must have made for him until she fell into a hole they both dig up. While he just used her for tending to his wounded inner child. She must have been so confused and so lost, how messed up her head must have been when she couldn't even get rid of him. How do you get rid of a parasite? Without an intervention, you don't.
I'm good at writing apology letters for others, so why not writing one for her? So let's wrap this one up. In all honesty, Dong-jin probably took best years of her life while she waited for him to open up. What, they're probably in their late twenties, early thirties now? Imagine yourself living in a conservative society, where certain norms are expected, are even obligatory. I get that his mom made him miserable but she is still his mother. There is no other woman out there who could fill that role. Being in a relationship for god knows how long without introducing your "future wife" to your only parent, who is clearly still around, for whatever ugly reason he should have been open about, is wrong on so many levels. Min-yeong obviously loved him deeply. All she wanted was to marry a guy she loved and start a family, and not wait for him for 10 years to finally make up his mind. He knew they were not compatible, despite all the love. She was blinded, he didn't want to hurt her so he didn't let her go even though he should have. She tried to move on, but couldn't, because she wanted him. She wanted the person she could never have. She was hooked badly.
No satisfied woman would ever cheat, especially if she wants to commit to a man till the end of her life. At this point her actions look like a desperate cry for help, but her example is just another one in a sea full of such cases, no one will care once you're incapable of getting up on your feet; however, everyone will point a finger and be the first to judge and even cheer on as they watch you drown.

thinking about leon again tonight
#cosmo rambles#i need to get back to playing around with the Hazel and Leon get Eeby Deebied to Hisui thing#because i think still the dynamic of leon being very athletic and strategic while hazel is more on the artsy side and is like#more ideal in a support role is really fun#leon willing to go out there and wrestle a garchomp while gushing about how fantastic it is at physical attacking#while hazel sits by and sketches it for the pokedex and makes little notes about what they found in the environment#leon building himself a new team around types he's never tried before and picking the weaker starter to hazel's to give himself a challenge#hazel somehow letting leon goad her into actually taking a rival role against her despite never really having rivals before#unless you count blue making her so so so so mad but that's unrelated. she'll fight him without a pokemon#leon's understanding of battle mechanics and what each pokemon needs to thrive and what it's capable of beyond just its typing delights me#while hazel tends to be like me- less strategic and more about getting those type advantages in LOL#also having two trainers taking on nobles and filling the dex with their own roles to make things smoother is fun#but also because im imagining leon and hazel sitting together as hazel draws and talking as they peacefully watch pokemon from afar#or running for their lives together or riding on wyrdeer's back together#on top of that just. the two of them going to paldea together for a temporary teaching gig and getting swept into things#keeping an eye worriedly on students and Oh God No What Do You Mean the World is Ending. Again#theyll go on a vacation to kalos after this. and because XY has already happened theres no stress there#they just get to get into some mega evolution training. the most stress is red blue and green show up like hiiii#red and leon get into the most heated rivalry imaginable and hazel is being pulled away from her pokepuffs#god this is getting so long. im just thinking so hard im sorry IF YOU READ THIS FAR THANK YOU IM SORRY

I know Marian and Isabela didn't get along, but was it so bad that she didn't come back? Was there no duel? If not, how did Sebastian feel seeing her face off again a qunari over twice her size? If there was no duel, how did Marian handle the fight?
There was a duel - Marian had earned the Arishok's respect (however unintentionally; she's blunt and direct and usually also had Fenris with her, so she was pretty much guaranteed to earn his respect. it wasn't mutual, she hated him and the Qunari), so he offered her the challenge. Not wanting any more bloodshed over what she saw largely as Isabela's fuck up, she agreed. Isabela never came back, though if she did, Marian still wouldn't have forgiven her.
As for the duel itself… I’ve actually been writing a lil something about that. Or, at least the aftermath of it.
:)
Years from now, Varric will tell this story differently.
He’ll say that the soon-to-be-named Champion of Kirkwall stood victorious, her form towering over the fallen Qunari. The Arishok met her gaze, his chin tilted defiantly as he pointed a finger towards her and uttered his last, cryptic words, before finally expiring.
His guards, true to his word, turned and departed without a fight, leaving the Champion to be venerated by the grateful nobles of Kirkwall. Knight-Commander Meredith, however reluctantly, would name Marian Hawke the Champion of Kirkwall, and thus began a new chapter in her illustrious legacy.
It’s a nice tale.
Sebastian remembers it like this:
The fight had been drawn-out and vicious; Marian had to rely on her speed and smaller stature to avoid the Arishok’s lethal attacks, slinging ice at a distance and slashing him with the bladed end of her staff when he got too close.
But Marian, while formidable, was never meant for single combat, and certainly not against a bruiser of a man like the Arishok. When one of his attacks finally connected, it did so brutally — his battle axe sank deep into her side, before sending her flying across the throne room, her body ending its arc abruptly as she slammed into a pillar.
Sebastian remembered that in particular with startling clarity; he wished he didn’t.
Marian was on the ground, soaked in blood and trembling. The Arishok advanced on her, raising his axe for the final blow, his face as stoic as it ever was, betraying no sense of enjoyment or displeasure either way.
And then… Marian flung her hand up, fingertips coated in frost, and the Arishok took a sudden step back. A jagged shard of ice stuck out of his chest, far larger than anything she’d conjured before. He looked down at the shard with shock, stumbling backwards another step, and then another. Finally, he collapsed onto his knees, hands scrambling to tear out the shard.
Marian rose to her feet in the meantime, using her staff to hold her weight. The Arishok looked at her, opened his mouth to speak…
She let out a vicious snarl and raised her staff above her head, cutting off whatever he might have said to her. She swung down, burying the bladed end deep in the Arishok’s skull. She twisted the staff and dug it deeper, glaring at the Qunari with unbridled hatred. Blood poured from his wounds, spilled down his face, from his mouth. From where he stood, Sebastian even saw the moment the light left his eyes.
The Arishok died on his knees, and not too long after, Marian collapsed on the floor.
Before he could register anything else, Sebastian was at her side, cradling her close as he tried to staunch the bleeding. Red liquid flowed from her wound, slipping through his fingers and onto the cold tiled floor. He vaguely recalled the cheers of the surrounding nobles turn into gasps and worried murmurs.
Suddenly Fenris appeared with a cloth, torn from Maker knew where, and joined it with Sebastian's hand against the wound. His face was twisted with grief. Merrill knelt next to him, muttering a spell and waving her hands over Marian’s still body. She wasn’t a proficient healer, not like Marian or Anders, but Marian was unconscious and Anders was gone.
“Please,” Sebastian choked out. He felt his vision blurring. “Please, Marian, hold on. I can’t lose you too, I love you, please…!”
Her pale blue eyes looked up at him, but he didn’t know if she could see him. Her lips twitched, but even speaking seemed beyond her. All she could do was let out a pained wheeze.
Distantly, he heard the doors burst open; the knight commander and first enchanter had arrived. He couldn’t hear what was said — likely the nobles explained what had happened, told them of Marian’s duel with the Arishok, because soon Orsino had joined them on the floor, adding his magic to Merrill’s.
In his arms, Marian shifted. He watched in morbid fascination as the deep gash in her side began to close, flesh and sinew rebuilding with slow but steady progress.
Her breathing evened out from short, shallow gasps, and she sagged into his embrace. She spared him a smile before her eyes slipped closed.
“Marian—!” he began, but a hand at his shoulder cut him off. He looked up, and saw that the hand belonged to Orsino. The elven enchanter gave him a reassuring smile — grim and exhausted, but reassuring nonetheless.
“She’ll be alright,” he said gently. “But she needs rest, and plenty of it.”
“We‘ll take her home,” spoke Fenris, standing up. He offered a hand down to Merrill, who blinked in surprise, but took it without comment, and let him pull her up to her feet. “Sebastian, are you able to carry her?”
“I — yes.” Gingerly, Sebastian gathered her in his arms and stood as well, careful not to jostle her too much. Marian was… surprisingly light. She was a small woman, so perhaps he shouldn’t have been surprised, but, well. He’d never had the opportunity to hold her like this before.
“You will need an escort,” came the imposing voice of the Knight-Commander. Sebastian turned to see her sheathing her blade and approaching them. She looked thoughtful, yet still stern. “Thugs and looters still hound the streets.”
“We’ll be the escort,” Aveline said, the stubborn set of her jaw brooking no argument. Varric nodded beside her, looking unusually somber. Though Sebastian had never gotten along very well with either of them — indeed, neither had Marian — he was grateful for their presence now.
Meredith considered them, then nodded. “Very well. See that Serah Hawke gets home safely; it would not bode well, losing Kirkwall’s new champion.”
Sebastian heard murmurs around them, and finally remembered that the throne room was still full of people. Nobles whispered to one another, some craning their necks to get a look at Marian’s unconscious form. Others looked as exhausted as he felt; some were sobbing, the grief for the day’s events finally catching up to them.
He felt another hand on him, and he looked to see that it was Merrill, this time.
“Let’s go,” she said quietly. Her large eyes flickered from Marian’s face to his. “We all need some rest.”
He nodded. Following behind Fenris and Aveline, with Varric and Merrill trailing behind him, he carried Marian out of the keep, cradling her close, like he feared she would turn to smoke and disappear if his grip was not secure.
Sebastian felt movement, and paused, looking down at her. Marian murmured something indistinct and burrowed her head further against his chest. For the briefest of moments, the anxiety that sat like an anchor in his gut was alleviated. He pressed a kiss to the top of her head, and kept moving forwards.

I wholeheartedly believe the rivalry is going to be one sided . like one of them thinks the other hates them. It’s probably gonna be steve!!! he’s gonna be like well ive lost all my dorky kids and i hate this guy so much I think about him all the time thats how much I hate him!!! see!! He’s so loud and hyper and he knows so much stuff I don’t!!!
in vol2 they’re probs gonna have a “god why do you hate me SO MUCH” moment where the other (eddie probably) just blinks back like . ‘I never hated you. Ive had a crush on you since I wheeled out av projectors for your basketball team’ and Steve has to sit for a moment like ‘oh . OH’ whilst eddie is putting the vest on him

not me making a whole ass altea / mc / helena premise in my head all because of that art i reblogged and because of how much i adore altea's route ... i love helena's route more than anything but her storyline in altea's is too fascinating to turn up in my opinion, and shockingly i like the mc and altea together! along with the odd stalemate that altea and helena have in it

btw if you're going to go down the route of "everyone lives happily ever after, by which i mean gets married and settles down and plenty of kids" at the end of your story then the ONLY right way to do it is to give the villain character a kid as well and have these descendants meet and become best friends before the sins of their fathers inevitably come back to haunt them and turn their innocent childhood friendship into a nightmare psychosexual rivalry in which people are killed

If America wanted to achieve the complete and near-total unity of the Yemeni people, they have surely succeeded. "Our disagreement with the Houthis will not make us Zionists. We will set aside the past and unite for what is to come. Our rifles beside the Houthis' rifles. We endorse all options in responding to the American and British aggression. We bear the full consequences of supporting the Palestinians. By Allah, we will not sleep while the children of Gaza are under bombardment. Those of us who die become martyrs, and those who live remain honorable."
Tumblr media
From an official in the US-backed "legitimate Yemeni government" "Despite our great rivalry with the Houthis, we will not accept American or British military intervention in our country."
Tumblr media
Another official from the US-backed Yemeni government in exile. Demented Biden has committed his greatest self-own. Decades of foreign policy reversed in 5 minutes. "Any Yemeni supporting the United States, Britain, and the countries of the Zionist ship protection alliance should reconsider their Yemeni identity and Arab roots. These countries protect and support the terrorist Zionist entity that has killed 30,000 children, women, and residents of Gaza. When the Red and Arabian Seas were closed to ships heading to this terrorist entity, this dirty alliance struck Yemen, punishing it for its honorable stance towards Gaza and Palestine. We may differ internally on many issues, but Palestine is our foremost cause and will remain so. Any aggression against Yemen by global terrorist states will be strongly opposed, with millions of the great Yemeni people at the forefront defending the soil of Yemen."

Oh my god. Yeah, America screwed up big time with their airstrikes. If you can get Alhazmi to hate you, then you're truly lost. This guy is a long time affiliate of the US-backed Islah party. He joins the dozens of other nominally US-backed officials condemning the strikes.
[Machine Translation Follows]
From my point of view, no one will outdo me in my position on the Houthis, but I say what I really see: Attacking any inch of Yemen is considered blatant and condemnable hostility, and no rational person would accept it America and Britain are the main reason for the situation in the region and the crimes being committed there, and they, along with the Zionist entity, are violating all the laws of heaven and earth. Stop the genocide of #Gaza, you murderers.

the campers of camp half blood don't quite remember how or when it had happened. It just always was: you and Luke Castellan, that is. where you went, he followed. the shadow to your guide and you the balm to his sorrow. annabeth used to whisper to the younger children–the ones who had been taken to camp far too young and therefore had little knowledge of love–that you and Luke Castellan were soulmates: seamlessly bound to one another.
you yourself had never believed in fate despite the fact that you had met them–old bitter hags. you preferred to believe that life was not set in stone, unbreaking and withered to a timeline. it perhaps led to your brash attitude and ‘ride or die’ mentality but your mannerisms only made luke castellan fall in love with you all the more. some things were just beyond the gods' control. you and luke were one of those things.
you had first arrived at camp a decade ago, where you were then claimed by hades. of course news of you spread like wildfire: you were gorgeous, your talent with your bo staff was unmatched, and your father was one of the three–strong power ran through your blood and you showed it everyday during training. but that wasn’t exactly what caught the attention of everyone, rather the fact that the popular gaze of a certain brown-eyed boy always strayed to you. when you laughed, he smiled. where you went, he strayed. you were magnet and he was never far away.
you both tipped toed around one another, constantly drifting toward the other. playful banter slipped between you two and those around you wondered when you would finally just get together. the first time you guys finally breached the delicate line between more than ‘obviously pining friends’ was after an exciting rivalry game.
despite the strategic planning of annabeth–who clearly eyed the tension between the two of you–and the excellent swordsmanship, house ares had won the game because of you. You had been the one to distract luke castellan after clarisse had forced you to use your charms. it was fun to see the cute blush adorn his cheeks when you approached the head of the Hermes House.
“so, does this mean you agree to go out with me?” he breathed out, hands twirling his sword as he was once again bested by you in capturing the flag.
you laughed out, “i was just waiting for you to ask, castellan.”
no sooner after you had begun dating did the infamy of you two reach an all high around camp. how could it not?
you two were the all anyone could talk about–the best of the best.
luke castellan was already the best swordsman at camp; a prodigy in the making. his brown curls and dimples only made him more popular among the girls and young teens. he was one of the highest placed leaders around camp; one of the few that clarisse actually respected and the one that annabeth regarded most.
you were a gem in the rough: bold and brash at times, but calculating and quick-witted. you were the one to turn to when those around camp felt alone, always ready to take care of others and offer words of wisdom. you were a living definition of rules being broken and your power only highlighted the height of your placement around camp.
when you two walked by, the eyes of the others strayed. newcomers learned of your names before they learned what exactly camp half blood was.
when you threw your head back and laughed, people watched as Luke curled his lips in pride at being the one behind your laughter. when he sat round the fire and sang songs with the campers, you sat right beside him; head laying on his shoulder and hoping the moment would never end. he willingly allowed himself to lose camp games if only by your hand, time and time again.
yes, you were the it couple of camp half blood but none of that mattered, when he was the one for you.
