The Threatening Three AU

An AU about Chloé working alongside Lila and Félix.

In this AU, the characters are aged up and in College.

Marinette was able to get every miraculous back and reveal to the public that Gabriel was Hawkmorh/Shadow Moth/Monarch & Nathalie was Mayura.

Gabriel is in Prison while Nathalie is on the run.

Lila has the Butterfly Miraculous and goes by "Falena".

Félix has the Peacock Miraculous and goes by "Phoenix".

Because they were able to get their hands on the Bee Miraculous after Zoé moves back to New York, Chloé's an occasional member of the duo team.

She wields the Bee Miraculous and once again goes by "Queen Bee".

Since she knows they're NEVER gonna beat Ladybug, Queen Bee's often watching The Akuma and Senti-Monster of the day get defeated.

Since the three are incredibly well known villains, they obviously have a secret hideout just outside of Paris.

The only time Chloé isn't bored out of her mind is when Bunnyx appears.

Cause that's when things get WILD.

Falena and Phoenix have tried to get their hands on the Rabbit Miraculous several times, but always fail.

The seriousness of the situation doesn't stop Queen Bee from flirting with Bunnyx.

Queen Bee: Come on Ally-Bun. Please give me the pocket? I'll let you take me out to dinner afterwards.

Bunnyx: No Chloé.

Whenever she could, Chloé would unify the Bee and Butterfly Miraculous (becoming Queen Moth) and would use the power she gives someone to summon Bunnyx.

Of course the rabbit heroine wouldn't be too happy about this.

Bunnyx: Chloé, what do you want now?!

Queen Moth: I just wanna spend time with you while the world ISN'T in trouble, Bitty-Bun~

Bunnyx: SO YOU AKUMATIZE AN INNOCENT CIVILIAN?!

Queen Moth: Just so you know, Ship-Sailer is a HUGE BunnyBee shipper.

Everyone knows how much Chloé misses Alix, and will NEVER stop bringing it up.

Lila: Chloé, while you're fighting, can you NOT drool over Alix for five minutes?

Chloé: Today's fight wasn't that bad...

Félix: When you were hit by Pigella's Gift, LOTS of thoughts of making out with her appeared in first of you. Which allowed Purple Tigress to punch you into a wall.

While Bunnyx's identity isn't known to the public, it IS known by the superheroes and the supervillains.

So she's often in the Burrow, much to Chloé's dismay.

Lila and Félix have tried to get signings of her leaving her burrow, but she's never been caught.

Fic Review: what it's like to create choas by eternalempires

THIS FIC /pos.

THIS FUCKING FIC SPARKED MY CURRENT ANGEL DUO HYPERFIXATION.

Of all the superpower AUs I’ve read (and I’ve read a TON), this has one of the most interesting and unique ways of telling the story I’ve seen.  The flipping between Tommy’s truths and lies in between relevant plot beats fleshes out both Tommy’s character backstory and the character relationships.  The few scant details we get about Tommy’s actual backstory makes his actions feel that much more believable and sympathetic.

Starting from the beginning, the reader’s introduction to the Angel is just perfection.  Most of the time in fics, Phil is completely in his element.  He’s untouchable and in control.  But here, he isn’t.  He’s far from his all powerful supervillain self that most of the world knows.  Rather, he’s at his most vulnerable, injured and unconscious in a stranger’s apartment.  And while Tommy could take advantage of it, he doesn’t.  Because from what we can tell, Tommy’s been in Phil’s shoes, vulnerable and at another’s mercy, and he refuses to stoop to that level.  He helps him, regardless of the fact that he’s a villain.

Then, readers are introduced to Blade’s powers, which are so different from the typical Techno powers and fit him so well.  The ability to manipulate both shadows and fear matches the character perfectly, and I appreciate it so much.  The little bit of banter between Phil and Techno is lovely, and then we get our first hint of Birb Instincts.  Which is just.  Such good food.  Such good food.

I absolutely adore the cafe scene, for both introducing the Bench Trio Dynamic and showing Tommy’s inherent protective nature.  He’s not one to take shit sitting down, and will throw hands with just about anyone if he feels like he can help.  Regardless of hero, villain, vigilante, or civilian, if Tommy can help in any way, he will.  

The descriptions of Tommy’s relationships to the different members of SBI are just *chef’s kiss*.  All of them are so different from one another (just like each person) but are so similar that they compliment each other perfectly.  They’re all pieces of a puzzle that fits together perfectly. 

I gotta say, I was so happy to see Tommy put the pieces together so quickly.  As much as SBI likes to think they’re the smartest ones in the room, they aren’t as careful as they think they are.  And Tommy is an incredibly intuitive person.  He totally would be able to piece together secret identities like that, despite the fact that he acts totally unaware sometimes.  And that protective instinct returns, determined to protect everyone he cares about, at the risk of his own safety and happiness.  (Which often comes back to bite him in the ass, but that’s the one of the tastiest sorts of angst imo).  Bravo to you, author, for showing Tommy’s intellect and insight.

Paternal Phil hits me so hard, especially when he acts so paternal when Tommy or someone is injured/incapacitated in some way.  It just scratches this itch and I don’t know why, but this fic has that in SPADES and I can’t thank you enough for that.  GOD it hits all the right notes for me and I fucking love it so damn much.

The dream sequence has this unnerving quality to it that sends a shiver up my spine every time I read it.  The fact that George is so close to real life that it nearly trips Tommy up a few times is so unsettling in the best kind of way.  The “dreams are almost indistinguishable from reality except for that One Thing” is such an underutilized trope, and I love it when I see it in the wild.  The way each scene plays out is wonderfully described, vivid and dreamlike while still creepy.

And then there’s the torture scenes. OOOOOOOOOOO the torture scenes /pos. Dream is a little bastard and a bitch and I hope it fucking hurt when the Syndicate came calling.  Bastard.

I’m pretty sure the scene in the van on the way back from rescuing Tommy is my favorite scene in the whole fic.  There’s the tension of everyone’s distress at Tommy’s current state paired with Phil’s obvious affection for Tommy that just works so well together that I can’t stop thinking about it, even after I’ve read this fic 20 times.  Just.  AAAAAAAAA I love this scene.

Instincts.  Getting lost in the hybrid sauce.  Nothing more I really have to say about that but thank you for Soft Tommy <3.

The final reveal that it was Bee Duo that brought the whole superpowered society down on the Dream Team’s heads makes so much sense and fits so well with the overall narrative.  And the little bit about Tommy treating everyone like people, regardless of which “side” they fall on, is perfection.  Absolute perfection.

The only thing I have to say about the ending is they’re his, and he’s theirs, and they will never let each other go again.  And I fucking love it.

Overall, this fic does so much right that it’s probably in my top 20 fics I’ve ever read for this fandom.  The execution of the superpower tropes with a fresh, unique spin on enough that it makes the whole fic memorable, the superb characterization and plot, the incredible writing itself: everything in this fic works so well together that I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys SBI/Tommy-centric fics.

If we're still on the superhero type beat, then maybe they ask to basically have Tommy as a part-time healer or whatever and they have to pass Tommy over in the Taco Bell parking lot or something. SBI keep worrying that one day the villans just won't show up, but they always arrive on time.

im obsessed with your captain of the sky au. its my lifeblood. current background headcanon is that everyone thinks techno is some terrifying supervillain bc hes Big and Intimidating but hes just kinda buff bc hes the only motherfucker on shelf stocking duty at gamestop. tubbo and crumb keep destroying it and this loser is the one who has to keep fixing it. also, i love that cs!ranboo is like “wow i cant believe fundy would date a villain how could he” only to meet tubbo and go “oh shit”

status - completed length - 25 chapters / 65.3k words CWs - labeled by chapter thoughts - amazing fic, awesome writing, the author deserves more credit why doesn’t anyone talk about this fic notes - amazing writing! i think the author really nailed the characterization [which is really impressive of them considering that the fic involves 23 characters] and the character interactions are just on point, so good. i really like their worldbuilding - the way they write respawn mechanics is just to die for [/pos] and the pre-history for the dream team and sbi [+ tubbo] is so good. also the way they write dream hurts my soul in the best possible way. and they also found a way to incorporate manhunts, which i thought was really creative. overall just really amazing writing. highly recommend reading the next piece in the series [it’s called interlude: lida, just more really good writing; it’s kind of just a filler for the Big thing that happens at the end of YHT but it’s really good - lots of character bonding].

Sure it seems that Dream always like to survey and test the new ones to see if they can take it and we dont even know their powers!

POWERS!!!!! Maybe Tommy can use fire or has a hell of a resistance, Tubbo a "second-hand" spiderman of bees? Dream being a alien would fit well but if hes human with God like powers is interesting too! Wilbur doing some music on the sidelines and resenting a little Dream being the all mighty, Phil with his wings! Nihachu manipulating light! Fundy being fox like for whatever reason! Tecno maybe being a antihero like Deadpool or RedHood! Maybe sbi being a family kinda torn by the heroics? SO MANY IDEAS AAAAAAA

God there is so many possible ideas for this! Dream being basically a god and Wilbur resenting him is great. Love the rivals dynamic.

Techno being a Robin Hood type of hero and just using his skills and wits! Imagine the villains and heroes trying to figure out what's his power and then Techno just tells someone (probably Quackity) that he has no powers.

Also oof! The Sleepy Bois Inc family angst! Phil trying to get Tommy and Techno to reconnect again and failing. Wilbur and Phil having a strained relationship! So much angst in this!

God there is so much power ideas that can be spawned from these characters!

Kwaminette AU- AU where Marinette is Plagg and Tikki’s daughter. She’s a Kwami instead of a human, but she prefers to take on a human form because she likes interacting with humans. She’s the Panda Kwami of Balance, and the kwami of Cory Bernard/Panda Girl, my Miracusona. When she’s not helping out Cory, she’s busy trying to bond with Adrien. This one takes place within the show.

Miraculous Injustice AU- AU where the members of Team Miraculous are placed in the Injustice video game. The canon Team Miraculous gets sent to a dimension where the team is split up and akumas fight for both good and evil because Cat Noir turned evil after they found out Gabriel was Hawkmoth. The Quantic Kids (Felix, Bridgette, Melodie, Sparrow, Gavroche, Kim Mime, and Mercury) are included in this AU as well.

Dupain Cheng Kids AU- AU where Tom and Sabine adopt everyone in the Miracuclass as their child (except Adrien cause he’s their future son in law). Marinette keeps an eye for fellow classmates that don’t have the best home life. She then passes word to her parents, who fight tooth and nail to earn legal custody of said child (We don’t care they aren’t on the adoption list, they deserve to be in a home FULL OF LOVE).

Catbug AU- AU where Marinette has both the Black Cat and Ladybug Miraculouses. She calls herself Catbug. Plagg and Tikki are like a second set of parents to her, and she eventually develops a harem.

Mike and Mari AU- AU where Marinette has an older brother named Michael. He is her favorite thorn in her side as well as her go-to Miraculous Holder. He’s dating Miss Bustier and is going to school to become an interior designer.

Role Reversal AU- AU where Marinette and Adrien are switched Miraculouses. Lady Noire and Mister Bug protect Paris against Pavona and Hudie (Gina and Sabine); who want the Miraculouses to bring back Tom. Involves reverse crush and somewhat reverse life.

Adrien’s Monster AU- AU where Duusu summons a full time sentimonster to protect Adrien. He names it Hiss and it follows him everywhere he goes. Hiss and Plagg hate each other.

Supernatural AU- AU where everyone except Adrien (who’s still human) is a mythological creature. Marinette is a fairy, Kim and Rose are werewolves, Alix is a Hobbit, Mylene is a Dwarf. Juleka and Luka are vampires, Ondine is a mermaid, Ivan is an ogre, Alya is one of the last of the Nine-Tailed Fox clan, Chloe is an elf, Lila is a changeling, Max is half-sphinx, Nathaniel is a brownie, Kagami is a yokai, Marc is a leprechaun, and Nino is a Kappa (though nobody knows). The Kwmais are fae creatures that run/protect the school. Miss Bustier is a pixie, Ms Mendeleiev is a witch, and Principal Damocles is the owl of Athena. Hive Guard AU- AU where Chloe keeps her Miraculous at the end of Miraculer, runs away, and becomes a freelance hero of sorts. She’s extremely active is trying to find and stop Hawkmoth and Mayura. She lives in the eiffel tower, and trains with Pollen every day. Nobody but Sabrina knows her location; and she becomes Queen Bee’s right hand.

Jurassic AU- AU where Emilie’s maiden name was Hammond, and one day Adrien discovers is grandfathers work and reopens Jurassic Park.

House Cat AU- AU where Cat Noir actually decides to date Marinette in Weredad and becomes the Dupain Cheng housecat.

Mother Peahen and Papallion AU- also known as the MP3 AU. AU where Duusu and Nooroo adopt Adrien after Heroes Day with Plagg as the greasy uncle.

Road Trip AU- An AU where Team Miraculous travels around the world looking for Lost Miraculouses after defeating Hawkmoth and Mayura. Ali and Aurore bear the Moth and Peacock Miraculouses in this AU.

Miraculous Descendants AU- An AU where Miraculous characters are in the movie Descendants. Most of them are the children of Akumas.

Thing 1 and Thing 2 AU- An AU where there are two boys that like Kagami. Conner (a new student from America who tries to make Kagami jealous by lying about Ryuuko being into him) & Hiroki (a rival from Japan that she beat who believes that she should be his girlfriend) & Luka/Viperion doesn't like how uncomfortable they make her or how angry they make her feel.

Guard Dragon AU (Rockstar!Luka & Bodyguard!Ryuuko AU)- An AU where Kitty Section's new bodyguard is so mysterious and tough. Anarka trusts her to keep her children and their friends (Juleka and Rose dating) safe. Ryuuko does not plan on letting her down, but with Luka? It's hard for our Lady in red black & gold to stay professional.

SongHeart & The Queen (Ryuuka's Beauty and The Beast AU)- Kim is Lumiere, Anarka as Maurice (great parents are great), Chloé and Sabrina as Gaston and LeFou (duh), Emilie and Adrien as Mrs Potts and Chip (need that adorable mother/son bond), Marinette is (a younger) Wardrobe (fashion girl!) and Luka's closest friend in the place. Luka is Belle and Ryuuko is the Beast. Instead of inanimate objects, they’re cursed to be akumas.

Scales and Whiskers AU- An AU where Ryuuko and Cat Noir fight over who gets to date Marinette. She eventually gets so sick of it that she just tells both of them to date her. Before she knows it, she’s got a superhero boyfriend and girlfriend.

Akumavillian AU- An AU where everyone who has been akumatized has the ability to turn into their Akumas without the power of the Moth.

Cat’s Shipping Show AU- An AU where Cat Noir runs a blog dedicated to all the ships of Team Miraculous, because he’s shipper trash. He gives people the news on certain ships, and reviews ships as well.

Adrien Universe AU- Steven Universe, but with Miraculous characters.

Momma Mayura AU- An AU where as soon as Stoneheart appeared, Nathalie grabbed the Peacock Miraculous and became Mayura. She fights on Ladybug and Cat Noir’s side to bring down Hawkmoth and quickly becomes the team mom.

Tales of Pegasus and King Monkey AU- An AU where Master Fu instead distributed the Horse and Monkey Miraculous and Kim and Max are the main characters of the show.

Chatroom AU- An AU where Team Miraculous has a group chat

Genderbend AU- An AU where everyone’s genders are swapped.

Teacher Kwamis AU- An AU where Miss Bustier is fired and the Kwamis take over teaching.

Frozen Dragons AU- A Hiccelsa AU that combines Frozen and How To Train Your Dragon. Basically, just before the events of Race To The Edge, Elsa and Hiccup have an arranged marriage and her, Olaf, Sven, Kristoff, and Anna are present for the events of the show and Dragons 2

Kumafeather AU- An AU where Max and Kim have the Moth and Peacock Miraculous and are trying to bring Max’s dad back. They call themselves Kuma and Dark Feather and are like that classic supervillain and dumb sidekick trope but they’re gay.

GrayBlue AU- An AU where Adrien and Marinette have the Moth and Peacock Miraculous and are trying to bring Emilie back. They call themselves Grayling and Beau Blue.

Mastermind Fu AU- An AU where Master Fu is evil and the Miraculass steal the Miracle Box to fight him.

Evil Miracuclass AU- An AU where the Miracuclass is evil and steals the Miracle Box. Master Fu must use the remaining Miraculous he has to fight them.

Marigod AU- An AU where Marinette and her parents are Gods.

Tangled Sisters AU- an AU where Cassandra grew up in the tower with Rapunzel and Varian is Flynn’s protege/adopted little brother. It’s be the same as the movie, just Cassarian, Aged Up!Varian of course, and the sister duo we deserve.

Forbidden Love AU- An AU where Flynn is still a thief and Rapunzel is the ruler of Corona. The two of them have a little flirty to and fro, as he’s the most wanted theif in the kindgom and they both really dig each other but don’t want to admit it, not even to themselves. Lance is his sidekick and Kiera and Catalina are their young protégés. Meanwhile, Varian and Cass work under Raps. Cass as her royal adviser and personal bodyguard, and Varian’s her little brother and the royal alchemist.

Cousins AU- Inspired by the theory that Rapunzel, Elsa, and Anna are cousins. An AU where they were there to celebrate her birthday in Secret of the Sundrop and went with her and the gang to the Dark Kingdom! Sven, Kristoff, and Olaf tag along too, of course.
