So like a minor pet peeve of mine: when people say that Marinette should've told Adrien about being threatened by Lila in the bathroom, his advice isn't coming from nowhere and isn't ignorant... because he was calm with Lila and she assaulted him as an akuma anyways, so Marinette being brazen makes him think that Lila would do something even worse to her.

I feel like people should acknowledge more that both of them were hurt by Lila in Chameleon.

Yeah. There’s also Adrien’s abusive upbringing to consider. But the problem I have with people saying that his high road advice is stupid and completely and obviously flawed logic is that Marinette tried to use the direct approach, and as we can see, IT DID NOT WORK. Going after Lila directly just gives her the opportunity to make herself look like the victim. I don’t care how popular or nice you are to people, you don’t just point the finger at someone for lying and give the justification of “because I said she’s lying, that means she’s lying”. Adrien clearly saw the way Lila was able to turn the tables on Marinette whenever she spoke out, so it’s not all that dumb for him to decide that waiting until her lies caught up with her was the better, more effective approach, as to not prolong the exposure by casting doubt with baseless accusations.

Miraculous Ladybug Writing Prompts for the fanfic writers here on Tumblr I've come up with that don't turn Miss Bustier's class into irredeemable bullies ( Please comment which prompt you use + please tag me once oneshot/fanfic is posted )

All the prompts below involve Adrienette

1.) Françoise Dupont gains a new student that moved to Paris, France from ( country of your choice that isn't France ) that gets put in Miss Bustier's class. Lila is not impressed since their arrival results in her ' sheep ' paying less attention to her. Bonus points if they either a.) Call Lila out on her bull, b.) Play the long con to lull Lila into a false sense of security while they gather info, or c.) Are a precious little cinnamon roll who's caring nature & obliviousness plays a part in Lila's downfall. Another set of bonus points if the new kid's rich ( up to you as to what carreer(s) their parent(s) have ) & if Lila tries to threaten the new kid [ If you choose to do this prompt, comment if you choose a, b, or c. Also you get free reign in terms of what they look like along with some of their personality ]

2.) Lila lies about knowing the lead actress of Solitude. Cue a crying Adrien, a very very VERY livid Marinette, Nino, & Chloé, & a VERY furious father. Oh, and two very furious Graham de Vanilys that are more than happy to blacklist & sue Lila. Up to you if someone gets akumatized ( Don't know who originally came up with the idea of Lila lying about Adrien's mom, but whoever it is is a genius cause if Lila actually lied about Adrien's mom in canon she would be oh so very screwed )

3.) Marinette enters a design contest run by a famous female fashion designer that Marinette is a huge fan of. Lila tries to sabotage/steal Marinette's outfit design for the contest. Lila forgets that security cameras exist

4.) Rose knows that Lila is lying about Prince Ali & tells Ali this during one of their video calls. Things don't end well for Lila

5.) Jagged Stone hears about Lila's lies. The rockstar is not happy for several reasons and he & Penny plan a little suprise

6.) The sibling/cousin/best friend of one of Lila's previous victims or a cousin of Lila's enrolls in Françoise Dupont with the intent of bringing all of Lila's past deeds to light ( you get free reign in terms of their appearance, personality, and what their parents do for a living ). Bonus points if Lila tries to threaten them

7.) Félix cares about his cousin, so when Adrien tells him about a certain liar getting all handsy with him during school & modeling, Félix concocts a little scheme to get said liar fired and blacklisted and have a restraining order against her ( and he might also be playing wingman because it's clear as day that Adrien has romantic feelings for the bakers daughter - Marinette )

Re-Verse Lila/Cerise and Vixen

Lila is a double agent working for both sides. She infiltrated the Supreme and managed to manipulate her way into the top ranks and recieve the Fox miraculous, while at the same time being a member of Gabriel's resistance. She isn't loyal to either one of them and has her own agenda. Also, neither side knows she's also working against them. Using her illusion powers, she can appear to be in two places at once. She joined Gabriel's cause to try to get her hands on the butterfly miraculous. As Vixen she doesn't work alongside Luka, Kagami and Felix. She's slightly higher ranked than Kagami, so she's usually sent to more high-profile missions. The resistence is constantly trying to figure out who she is, since she's one of their toughest obstacles. Lila is constantly leading them in wrong directions regarding her identity

Writing Prompt: Men In Black

AU - Shortly after Lila shows up, a frustrated Marinette sends a message to the Italian Embassy.

"Hello, as someone with Italian citizenship (through my father and grandmother), I was wondering why the child of a member of diplomatic staff is attending an unsecured public school without protection, while publicly advertising her status as the child of a foreign diplomat?"

Mostly she was hoping that Lila's mom might get reprimanded, and as a result rein in her daughter.

She was surprised when, instead, several Interpol agents were at her house when she woke up.

Marinette: I- I swear! I wasn't threatening her! I didn't do anything! Interpol Agent: You don't understand Miss. We're not here because you're in trouble. At least, not with us. We're here because we need your help. Marinette: My... Help? Interpol Agent: Yes. You see, when Miss Rossi left Italy, she didn't have any children. Somehow in the last month, without notifying the Italian government, she's acquired a 14 year old daughter. That is... Concerning. Marinette: Wait, what? Interpol Agent: Best Case scenario, our diplomat has been involved in an illegal adoption. More likely, this "Lila" is using some form of mind control. Either way, we have some hard questions for her.
