Which verse (musical, movie, toon) is your favorite? And how do you watch the cartoon cuz I can’t find it and all the clips I’ve seen are from multiple youtube videos hehe

And I really like how each version of beetlebabes have very different vibes!!

I personally own two copies of the box set. When it first released by Shout! Factory, I jumped in that. It was a beloved show from my childhood. I was 4 when it first aired in 1989 but I recall watching at 6 and 7.

There are a few followers here who watch it online and I’ll let them post the links in the comments but for now, I suggest checking Amazon or Shout Factory.

To answer your first question, I am always torn between the movie and toon verse. I tend to write and draw more toon because of how much bigger that world is compared to the movie.

I enjoy writing Musical verse Beetlejuice and Lydia. They are unique compared to their movie and cartoon counterparts. Which was the challenge since I had more practice writing them in those universes.

That particular series was my experiment to see how they would grow together from where they left off in the musical. It really makes me happy to know there are readers who enjoy that series of short fics. Thank you for reaching out with that comment. You have no idea how much I needed that boost.

I there something that would make the more 'pervy' villains (I think you know which ones by now) embarrassed/flustered/uncomfortable? Cause they always seem super confident (or are they?!) Usually they are the ones making others uncomfortable, not the other way around lol.

Really I only thought of this cuz it'd be funny, cuz I don't know if you know this but Alex Brightman has been in a lot of stuff associated with Jack Black, playing Jack's back's character in the musical version of School of Rock, being in the Goosebumps Musical, that's sort of it but let me know if you know any else

And it be neat if we had an example of the opposite, Jack Black being in something associated with Alex Brightman first

That gives me another idea of maybe one day if they make  another Beetlejuice cartoon that Jack Black could play The Ghost with the most

And if they don't exist I want to have a reference to the Tenacious D movie,  maybe Jack Black can voice Johnny the guy who beat the devil in a fiddle competition, maybe old Lulu went up to the human world once, not to steal any Souls just to see how things were going up there, and some random  hillbilly just dared him to a  fiddle competition

has anyone read Stage Pressure by serrah.hawke? The writer also goes by satsuki-chan in the fandom. It's cartoon verse but it's fun. It has some songs that are a little out of the time period of the story but it doesn't distract. It has been a while since I read it but it's on fanfiction.net and I think the explicit scene is on the writer's website. I think there is an unfinished sequel too. I liked it for the whole silliness that is toon verse and the shocks of the characters in the neitherworld when they realize Lydia is with BJ. So funny.
