What Can You Do With Base Sims From the Base Sim Project?

Anything. 👀 

I mean it. 

Take, for instance, this Sim right here. 

Let’s get her into CAS with my CC installed and see what we can do with her.

So already there’s a pretty big change because of my skin, hair, eye, freckle, and makeup CC defaults. But I’m not satisfied. We can do more.

Let’s change that skin. Here we have one of the Starfruit skins by Kurasoberina. Don’t ask me which one because I’m absolutely terrible at sourcing CC. There’s a reason I ask people not to WCIF me. 😭 

I put some makeup and lashes on her and of course a light smattering of freckles. I love freckles. They’re like skin sprinkles. For the purposes of this post, I kept the makeup super light so you can see the big changes about to happen to this Sim’s face. Biiiiiiiiiiiiiig changes.

And here’s where the magic happens. You can shift those sliders around any way you want and if you have 1, 319, 275, 033 custom sliders like I do, there’s no limit to the types of faces you can make from just one base Sim. 

A little change in her style and voila! A whole brand new Sim with very little effort. That’s the magic of using different styles of Sims as a base when you’re in CAS. Just for funsies, let’s see what she looks like as a dude. 🙃 

Not bad! I slid a few sliders around, as one does, and we have an even more drastic difference than how we started. 

With the base Sims from this project and a little imagination, you can populate an entire town in short order with unique and interesting Sims. Have fun and happy Simming!

"one. two. three!" he and cedric both grasped a handle. instantly, harry felt a jerk somewhere behind his navel. his feet had left the ground! he could not unclench the hand holding the triwizard cup! it was pulling him onwards, in a howl of wind and swirling color, cedric at his side. they landed hard on the ground, and harry's leg and harry got to his feet. there was a deafening roar of noise and suddenly a great mass of people were surrounding him. he and cedric had been transported back to the start of the maze! they did it! they had won! cedrics dad gave him a big hug. "i'm so proud of you!" he said, and then turned to harry "i'm sorry i was such a big dink before. my bad!" harry smiled and said "that's ok :)" he was about to say something else but then a figure out of the corner of his eye caught his eye from the corner of his eye. mad eye moody was standing apart from the gleeful crowd, looking furious. he threw down his hat (he was wearing a funny hat the whole book i just forgot to mention it until now) and started stomping on it in anger and frustration! "dang it dang it dang it!" he was saying. he looked at harry again and then started jumping on his hat in fury! "dang it! im so freaking mad right now! you really got me good harry potter! you really bested me! i guess there's no point. i'll just come clean cause ooooh u got me good. i was trying to kill you all along but my plan didn't work! ohh darn you harry potter i'll get you next time!" and then someone came and put magical handcuffs on him and lead him away. "whaaaa??!?!?" said harry but then he quickly forgot about it. "i'm so happy to be alive and surrounded by my friends and loved ones so i am not going to worry about it." he said to no one in particular. "i'm glad to be alive too!" said cedric for no particular reason. "good job harry!" said ron and hermione. "good job harry!" said fred and george. "good job harry!" said dumbledore. "good job arey" said hagrid. ms wesley gave him a biiiiiiiiiiiiiig hug. and then they all went back to the castle and had a crazy party in griffindor common room to celebrate their victories. it was so awesome! good job harry and cedric! :)
