Now here’s something I myself came up when I was probably on something questionable…

Team Umizoomi x Bloodstained Ritual of The Night!!!

Here, the titular team are these people called Shardbinders- people who have the ability to harness power from Shards. They’re also afflicted with a curse by Alchemists that crystallizes their very skin but gives them the ability to absorb the crystals from demons that turns into new powers to use as they wish.

Anyways, I made this because I wanted to. Hope you can use my designs in fanart!

This game released more than four years ago, and they're still pumping out free DLC to meet Kickstarter stretch goals.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is on its way to becoming one of the longest ongoing Kickstarter fulfillments at this rate! I suppose the obvious point of comparison is Shovel Knight, which took 5.5 years to meet all its Kickstarter stretch goals (and which is, just like Bloodstained: RotN, friggin' fantastic).

Both games kept me coming back to enjoy them again and again courtesy of all these updates. For that reason, I'm grateful for their efforts. There's been some really special additions since that first release, and all of them thus far are available to ANYONE who owns the game.

I actually edited the above message slightly because it originally contained a video announcement (including an apology for how long development is taking) with a preview of upcoming DLC; feel free to click that link to watch it.

It seems they're gonna make some paid DLC, too! I'm definitely paying for that "Classic Mode 2." That looks GREAT. (Might pay to put Miram in a Magical Girl costume, too, bc that's just funny.)

Miriam, of the wonderful smash hit indie franchise Bloodstained! Although I had no means of backing it myself, it was easily my most anticipated game of last decade since I first saw several of my favorite YouTubers at the time talk about its Kickstarter campaign.

...and let me tell you, if even a rough Switch port still managed to be an immensely enjoyable experience before patching, you've got a damn fantastic game on your hands. Please give it a shot if you haven't already. ...or y'know, buy the Circle of the Moon games if you love retro action games, they'll scratch that itch real good.

And, for the sake of letting you know that I'm genuinely improving with my art and preserving it, here is a previous Miriam piece I did in 2020. It's uh... not especially good, but never mind that!

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night sales top two million; first look at ‘VS’ and ‘Chaos’ modes

Total sales of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night have surpassed two million units worldwide as of August, publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay announced.

The new “VS” and “Chaos” modes are currently in development, both of which will include online multiplayer for the first time.

“This [addition of online functionality] has resulted in some challenges and delays that we that we did not expect, but we continue forward!” ArtPlay explained in a blog post. “We are nearing completion of the new content.”

First footage of the new content was shared in a video update today, and more information will be announced on September 14.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC via Steam, iOS, and Android.

Got all achievements (except the get all achievements achievement)

Started a randomized run and that's really cool to have directly in the game.

Avatar the Last Airbender

Episode 1: Aang

Starts off with fire benders chasing an earthbender. He had the fire nation's plans of attack. Turns out it was a distraction. Cut to Airbenders gathering for the comet festival. They tell Aang that he's the Avatar amid preparations. Later that night he feels he needs to clear his head. He gets trapped in a storm while the fire nation attacks the air nomads. Avatar State traps Aang in ice and the air nation is wiped out. Cut to Katara and Sokka in Wolf Cove. They go out to fish and find Aang. His arrival gets Zuko to come to the village. Aang surrenders then escapes. Katara and Sokka fly Appa to Aang and they leave Zuko in the dust.

Obviously only the first episode but it's definitely not as bad as people are saying it is. I think the first few minutes straight up tell you, this isn't the cartoon you know and love. There's going to be changes many don't like but it's an adaptation not a 1 to 1 retelling in a different format. The scenes of the fire nation burning people are brutal.
