Every single time I say "take the bullet out a gun take the bullets out your son" because of a incorrect quote that I saw when I first got into the Hamilton fandom. Also I'm on Yorktown and I can't not notice when Laurens shakes hands with the bullet and that's how I know that Lauren's interlude isn't that far away and it makes me sad.

Blow Us All Away | Philip Hamilton (Chapter 11)
(Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, Part 10)
‘Two Years Later’
"Philip is coming, hoooooooooooooome!" Angelica sang as she danced about the house.
"Heard you the first time Angie," Y/N laughed.
Angelica paused her dancing and stood in front of Y/N, "I'm surprised you haven't joined me yet. He's your partner, anyway."
"Oh, believe me, Ange, I can't wait for him to come home again. But, before I can dance with you, I need to head up to the market."
"Well, can I come with you?" Angie pleaded, giving Y/N her best puppy dog eyes.
Y/N chuckled, "Oh no, Ange. It's that time of year, you know?"
Christmas had always been Angelica's favourite time of the year. Even more ever since Philip was off at college, and he could only come home at Christmas.
What really made it special, was that she got to spend it with her family, something she felt she rarely got to do, with how big her family was.
Angelica broke into the widest grin Y/N had ever seen, but before Angie could even beg, Y/N cut her off, knowing what she was going to say, "And I'm not telling you what I'm getting you."
Angie's smile disappeared, "Oh, come on, Y/N! You know I hate secrets!"
"Well, I've kept your last three Christmas presents a secret, surely you must be used to it?"
"Exactly! You've kept them a secret every year... you can't just give me one year with no secret?"
"Unfortunately, yes. It's the law." Y/N explained.
"Wha- no, there's no such law,"
"Yeah, well, it's a thing," Y/N said with a shrug.
"Oh, yeah, it's definitely a thing," Angie nodded.
(if you understand this reference, please be my friend)
"But can I at least come with you? I can help you with everyone else's gifts?"
Y/N bit the inside of her cheek as she thought.
She didn't have the best idea for the other children's presents, and she knew she would need help.
With a reluctant sigh, she agreed, "Fine. But I'm not letting you find out what I'm getting you."
"If you say so," Angie giggled, before the two left the house, and ventured toward the markets.
As soon as the opened the door, the cold air hit them like a brick, "Jeez it's cold," Y/N shivered, "I'm going back inside and getting a coat, you want one?"
"No thanks," Angie replied, staring at the snow slowly falling from the sky.
Y/N chuckled, "Nice one, your coats are in your drawers right? Or did you finally start hanging them in your closet like any normal child?"
Angie sent Y/N a pissed off look, "Was that really necessary?"
"Answer the question."
Angelica just sighed, "I'm serious, Y/N, I don't want a coat!"
"Fine!" Y/N sighed, knowing she would regret that.
—————
The two were walking around in the markets, as Angelica was just trying to hide her intense shivering.
"Angie, I swear you, could've got a coat," Y/N sighed.
"I-I told you, I-I didn't ne-need one, a-and I st-still don't need one." she retorted, her teeth chattering like crazy.
"Don't be ridiculous Ange, you can just take my coat," Y/N offered, but to no avail.
"N-no thank you," Angie said, "And b-besides, you-you're wearing one of Ph-Philip's coats. I-I don't want anyone to think I-I'm dating a man."
"Right," Y/N nodded hesitantly, before a stall caught her eyes, holding something that would be perfect for Angelica, "Hey, you go ahead, I'm gonna get something." she told Angelica, who looked up at her, eyes sparkling.
"F-for me?" she asked hopefully.
"It won't be unless you go." Y/N laughed.
"Fine." she sighed, before walking ahead without Y/N.
Y/N walked up to the stall, when the man behind the counter eyes her suspiciously, "Aren't you the same kid who used to steal from here?"
Y/N just rolled her eyes, "So what if I was, so what if I wasn't. I've got the money, you've got the stuff I want." she finished, reaching into her tote bag and slamming a small pouch of coins onto the counter.
Yes, Eliza insisted that Y/N take some of her money, for Christmas presents, as much as Y/N protested.
—————
While Y/N was speaking with the worker, Angelica did as she was told, and wandered around aimlessly.
A stall filled with birds caught her eye, and she quickly walked toward it.
As she browsed around, a familiar voice interrupted her, “Angelica?”
Angie whipped around, to face the one and only Theodosia Burr (Jr), in her beautiful sky blue dress and coat. Her thick brown hair was tucked in a low ponytail, small strands floating near her cheeks.
”Theo? Wh-what are y-you doing here?” She asked, already feeling the blush rise to her cheeks.
Theo giggled, quickly hiding her hands behind her back, “Oh, you know….”
Angelica laughed, which filled Theodosia with butterflies in her stomach, “W-whatcha got there, Th-Theo?”
Theodosia smirked, which only flustered Angelica even more, “You’ll find out soon enough,”
Angelica sighed, “Se-seriously, what’s everyone’s deal wi-with hiding th-their Christmas presents from me?”
Theo chuckled, “You understand that’s a regular thing, right?”
"I-I get it, b-but I j-just wa-wanted a-a break thi-this year." Angelica stuttered, making Theo giggle.
She took whatever she was hiding behind her back and hid it in her skirt pocket so Angelica wouldn't see.
"Here," she began, a warm smile on her face as she took off her coat and handed it to Angelica, "Take my coat."
"I-I couldn't," Angie said, even though she really needed it.
"Please, Ange, you're freezing." she insisted.
Angelica's cheeks warmed up at her nickname as she smiled ear to ear. She liked her name just fine, but when she called her by her nickname? It was like heaven.
She could go on all night long about how much she loved the way it rolled off her tongue so effortlessly.
"Angelica?" Theodosia asked, a confused look on her face.
"Huh?" Angie asked, getting snapped out of her thoughts, only to be met with a laughing Theodosia.
"You're day dreaming on me, Ange."
"Oh, sorry!" Angie cried, her face flushed with embarrassment.
Theo only laughed more, "Don't apologize, it's adorable." she said, before blushing madly, almost as much as Angelica - if that were even possible.
"O-oh," she stuttered, this time it wasn't just because of the cold, "Uh, th-thanks. B-but you can keep your coat."
"Don't be ridiculous." she scoffed, a warm smile on her face as she practically threw her coat at Angelica.
Angelica reluctantly slid on the coat, a small smile tugging at her lips.
The smell of Theodosia instantly warmed her up, bringing a blush to Angelica's cheeks.
"Thanks," she said barely in a whisper.
The two stared into each other's eyes, as if they were the only two people alive, until the butterflies and blushes were too much for Angelica.
"Well, I-I should probably go." she stuttered, slowly walking away.
"O-oh, yeah. Well, I'll see you around then," Theo said, trying to hide her disappointment.
"Oh, and don't forget to write me," Angelica called, receiving a wide smile from Theodosia, before she disappeared into the crowd.
Angie eventually made her way back to Y/N, who had most likely hidden her Christmas presents in her tote bag.
"We ready to go now?" Angelica asked, slightly out of breath.
"Yeah-" Y/N went to answer but stopped when she saw Angelica's red cheeks, "Damn, Angie, who were you talking to?"
"No one!" she answered quickly, before speed walking away, Y/N eventually following suit.
Angie was walking hastily, trying not to give anything about Theodosia away.
Unfortunately, the bright blush on her cheeks and her newly borrowed coat was all Y/N needed.
"Who were you talking to just then?" Y/N asked with a smirk.
"Oh, just a friend." she replied, too quickly once again.
Y/N spun on her heel to walk backwards, and spotted a girl in a sky blue dress, the blush on her cheeks almost as bright as Angelica's, "Is that her coat?"
"N-no!" Angie cried, not even wanting to look back, practically accepting that Y/N knew.
"Oooo," Y/N sang, "Does Angie have a girlfriend?"
"Y/N," Angelica hissed, "You can't say things like that!"
"Is it true though?"
Angelica looked down at her shoes, "Maybe..." she mumbled.
Y/N smiled ear to ear, "Angie!" she cheered, "Why didn't you tell me sooner?"
Angie stopped in her tracks and looked up at Y/N, "Y-you're ok with it?"
"Uh, of course I am!" Y/N stated like it was obvious.
A small tear rolled down Angelica's cheek, "S-so, you're not gonna tell my mama and papa?"
"Of course not, Ange," Y/N began, her voice as sweet as honey, "You can tell them whenever you're ready."
"Really?"
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes, "For the millionth time, Ange, yes! I think it's beautiful."
Angelica smiled and let out a breath she didn't even realize she was holding, "Thank goodness," she sighed.
"I love you, Ange. You know that?"
Angelica smiled wider, if that were even possible, "I love you too." she beamed, pulling Y/N into a tight hug.
When they finally pulled away from each other and wiped away some tears, Y/N smirked, "Now I get to annoy you about you and your girlfriend!"
Angelica smiled at the thought of calling Theodosia her girlfriend, but it disappeared just as quick as it appeared when she realized what Y/N had said, "Oh, god," she groaned, "What have I done?"
"You've given me too much power, Angie. You have no idea what you've released into the world. You and..." Y/N paused, before facing Angelica, "What's your girlfriend's name?"
Angelica's smile reappeared and her stomach filled with butterflies, "Theodosia Burr. Jr." she added.
"Oh shit," Y/N whispered, "Doesn't your father hate her father?"
"Well," she squeaked, "Hate's a strong word."
"That's why I used it."
"I prefer the term, 'frenemies'." Angelica explained, but was only met with a blank look from Y/N.
"Uhhhhh." she mumbled.
"It'll catch on." Angelica said with a smirk.
"Will it?"
"Yes." she answered 'matter of factly'.
"Well anyway," Y/N began, changing the subject, "You guys got a classic Romeo and Juliet story going on, so that'll be super cute."
"Y/N! They both died in the end!"
"They were straight, Angie. You guys will do a much better job."
"Why does that make me feel better?"
Y/N just shrugged.
—————
Angelica and Y/N finally arrived back home, the Hamilton family waiting for them.
"Where have you two been?" Eliza asked.
"Sorry we ran late, we just had some last minute things to do," Y/N answered quickly, glancing at Angelica
"Oh, that's fine dear," she responded, before her smile turned into a smirk, "I just thought you would've wanted to see Philip when he came home."
"He's home?" Y/N and Angie asked in unison, to which Eliza responded with a laugh.
"Yes, he's up in his room, just waiting for you two."
Y/N's eyes widened, while Angelica sprinted upstairs without a second thought.
Angelica burst through the door, practically jumping to Philip to hug him.
"I missed you so much, Philip!" she squealed as Philip slowly hugged her back.
"I-I missed you too, Ange," he chuckled, "But do you think I could breathe for a second?"
"No," she answered with no hesitation, before she whispered, "Did you get it?"
Angelica didn't even have to look up to know that her brother was blushing, "Yes, now keep quiet about it."
As the two pulled away from each other, they saw the door slowly open revealing Y/N, who was blushing just as much as Philip.
"H-hey, Y/N." Philip greeted, mentally cursing himself for stuttering.
"Hey," Y/N smiled at him, before embracing him in a tight hug, "Took you long enough."
Philip didn't hesitate to hug Y/N back, just as tight, "I missed you so much."
They could've hugged for hours, until Angelica interrupted them, by loudly clearing her throat.
"I believe Philip has something he wants to say." Angelica announced, an innocent smile on her lips.
Y/N playfully rolled her eyes while Philip sighed and pulled away from the hug, sending Angie a hard look.
Angelica threw her hands up in the air in frustration, "Just tryna speed things along. Honestly, you two would be nowhere without me."
"Hey," Philip said, clearly annoyed.
"Sorry, too soon," Angie apologized, "But seriously-"
"Dude," Philip groaned, Angelica taking this as a signal to leave.
The room became filled with silence, until Y/N broke it, "I missed you too, Pip."
Philip smiled, which gave Y/N butterflies, before he leaned in for a small kiss.
"So what did you want to say?" Y/N asked.
Philip's cheeks went bright red at Y/N’s words, “O-oh yeah… right,” he said, before taking Y/N‘s hands.
"Y/N," he began, fear evident in his shaky voice, "I keep in the sanctuary of my heart, every minute we shared because from the first moment I was totally overwhelmed by you.
I do not know how it has been possible to live without your support and cheerfulness, without every letter you send, and every time you're with me.
You encourage me to get up every morning, to do great deeds for you, and to constantly become better.
You are my inspiration, my motivation, and my desired goal.
You know like nobody what happiness is and where it is hidden.
We both want to have a colorful and memorable life, and together we can make our dreams come true.
I want to become your happily-ever-after, and I will do my best for your incredible smile to never fade.
You are the greatest and the most precious gift given to me by this life, so I wish the whole world knew about my infinite and limitless love for you.
The love we share makes my life beautiful.
I can’t imagine my life without you in it.
Life has many sweet moments and I want to enjoy each one with you.
You are the one I want to be for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer.
I promise to do everything I can to be a perfect match for you and to become a husband you deserve.
My voice is trembling, and my heart beats at a furious pace, as I hope you will say yes and make me the luckiest man on Earth.
Y/N L/N, will you do the honor of marrying me?"
—————
A/N: I’m going to be writing another story about Angelica and Theodosia (Theogelica) which I’ll be posting soon of anyone would be interested in that

The Direction of Time *** [The Acheron Children]
In which Aidan and Bellamy seek help but their plan gets derailed by an unlikely opponent...[takes place: idk mid september??]
@trip-downtheriverstyx
[tw -- none]
AIDAN: Aidan’s stomach was in knots as he and his brother trudged the familiar path towards the Hauntley Inn. It was, naturally, a place where two medium kids liked to hang out. The ghosts were pretty quiet there, since they usually got plenty of attention, so it was nice to be able to let their guard down. And Auntie Xuemei made way better cookies than Maman did.
Not that Maman had been much of a cookie-maker kind of mum for the last ten years or whatever.
That was why they were here though! Auntie Xuemei would help them. Probably. Maybe. He didn’t really know. This could actually go very badly. Uncle Howl had warned them not to tell anyone who they were and why they were here. In order to avoid some time-magic fuckery, Aidan supposed. He hadn’t really asked. All the texts that involved time travel were pretty clear on that fact.
But what were they supposed to do?! Just sit around and wait for something to happen? They didn’t have time for that. It felt dire to them, even if their dad wasn’t gonna leave for another three or so years. To them, he’d already been gone for nearly a decade. That was too long. They needed to fix it now. Soon.
Besides, the longer they stayed, the more likely they were to fuck something up.
Auntie Xuemei could handle it anyway. She was used to dark, strange sorts of magic. It wouldn’t like…turn her brain into soup or something. Probably.
Aidan reached up and made sure his hair was smoothed down against the wind which had been tossing them about on the walk here.
The door opened of its own accord and Aidan looked back over his shoulder at Bellamy who was shivering pathetically behind him. (They hadn’t exactly dressed for the weather when they’d first arrived and Bellamy’s little salary basically bought them some food and a few pieces from that thrift shoppe in town.) He reached out and grabbed his brother by the elbow, pulling him inside and ringing the bell at the desk.
A revenant popped up behind it. Aidan recognized him as one at once.
“Oh,” Aidan blinked.
The revenant smiled. “Welcome to the Hauntley Inn! How may I help you?”
“Er, we’re looking for Song Xuemei?”
There was a beat. “Do you have an appointment?”
“No…but we really need to see her. It’s an emergency,” Aidan said, straightening up to his full height. He was still growing, all lanky and awkward elbows but he had always known he was gonna be tall, if only by sheer force of will.
“Very well, young masters. Right this way, you can wait in the Rose Room.”
Aidan looked over his shoulder again as he followed the ghost through the house, giving Bellamy a thumbs up.
“Wait here. Miss Song will be along shortly.”
“Thanks!” Aidan said and plopped down in a chair by the fire. Bellamy moved to browse the books on the shelves near the mantel.
BELL: Yeah, Bell was choosing to be optimistic about this whole thing.
Granted, there was no other option. They couldn’t actually do anything until Toulouse returned from Paris, which was the biggest miscalculation of this whole thing. And right now– they didn’t know if that was really gonna happen. They had one opportunity: Marie’s boutique opening. They needed a real plan, something foolproof, and if he and Aidan had learned anything practicing subterfuge over the past couple of weeks… it was that they were very bad at it. Big fools, the two of them. Ah well.
As much as Bell would just give up though, they should probably exhaust all options so– this was gonna work. Oh yeah! Definitely!
Or not.
Bell distracted himself from the nerves either way by looking at the looks on the mantel. Some he recognized from his time here at the inn, but there were a couple of books missing… or not bought yet, he assumed. Or maybe they lived upstairs in the actual library. Huh. Bell wondered why they’d been moved down. Was that Auntie Xuemei’s doing or maybe it was actually the Hauntleys? Not that it mattered, it was just a little detail, a reminder that things weren’t the way they were in Bell’s memory of the future, that thing that had yet to happen.
When they fixed things and went back, would the books have changed then too?
Mmm. Time travel questions. Fun.
There’s a third one? Said a voice behind Bell then, startling him. When he turned around– oh, Lady Miracle! She was sitting at her favourite table. Nine hopped onto the chair next to her and hissed.
“Wait,” said Bell. He glanced at Aidan. “Did she just say–”
“Beat ya to it,” another voice cut through the room.
Bell whirled around a second time, facing the door that opened to the garden. There was a girl there, tall and lanky, her long hair spilling down her shoulders. She twirled a flower in her hand. Bell gulped.
Opal smirked back at him. “Hey,” she said. “Whatcha two doin’?”
AIDAN: Aidan had turned to look at Lady Miracle when she spoke, not putting her comment together quite as fast as Bellamy had. But he didn’t need to, because the next second their wayward sister was standing in the doorway.
“What are we doing?!” Aidan sprung up from his chair like he’d been electrocuted. “What are you doing here?”
What was she doing here?
Opal had not been included in any of their plans because Opal had not been there to be included. For the last several years, she had been living in France with Toulouse Bonfamille, the man who was supposed to be their father, but wasn’t. A ghost to Aidan and Bellamy as much as any of the others. Maybe even more so, because all they saw of him were old photographs of a time before they were even old enough to remember, and a letter written to both of them full of excuses and regrets that teenagers didn’t have the time to care or understand.
To Aidan, he was the man who had taken their sister away and split up their family. Opal always said that Dad had never recovered from losing him and that Maman had never liked him to start. That Toulouse was a better parent than Dad and Maman had ever been and, eventually, she had proven it by leaving them all and moving to France. To the seaside. Where her Instagram was full of fancy galas and sailboating off the coast.
She didn’t care about fixing their family. She was part of the reason that it was broken.
“You--you need to leave!” Aidan blustered.
“What if I am here to help?” Opal asked, blinking innocently.
“You don’t even know what we’re doing here.”
Opal wandered further into the room with a shrug. “Sure I do,” she said, smiling at them. “You’re here to try and fix Maman and Daddy. Duh.”
Aidan’s cheeks colored.
BELL: Hmmmm, remember that optimism he’d had? Gone now!
Bell gulped instead, his breath hitching as Opal wandered toward them. They had sort of kept in touch with Opal, if er, Instagram likes and comments and things counted. She’d tried more in the beginning. In fact, Bell got this feeling that she’d been posting so much on her social media to convince them that coming to Paris was the right choice. It was better there, full of opportunities and lights and glamour and what looked like a lovely guardian who was there to take Opal to all the things her heart desired, while, in Swynlake, Maman dated Kristoff Bjorgman.
The thing was– well, there were several things. One, they didn’t know Toulouse the way Opal knew Toulouse. Two, they were magicks and Opal was not (she hated being reminded of this, so Bell tried not to bring it up). And three– their heart’s desire did not involve fancy balls and dresses and things.
Well, Bell’s didn’t. His heart desire was to sit in Chapter Three for an entire day and not have to move at all. Best day of his life, if he could just do that.
So in many ways, Opal was as distant as… everyone else. Except for right now, when she was the closest she’d been in years.
Bell knew better to trust it was a good thing.
He gulped and sidestepped to get closer to Aidan. “This is bad. Has she already talked to Auntie Xuemei?”
“It’s Snow Song, actually,” Opal chimed in, hearing his frantic murmur anyway. “Yeesh, you didn’t do any research at all, huh?
“What?” Bell replied, dubiously.
“She doesn’t go by Xuemei yet. And she doesn’t even know Maman. You would know that if you had asked me!”
“What?” said Bell again.
“Don’t worry, I didn’t spill the beans,” said Opal. Then she smiled devilishly. “Yet.”
Bell turned to Aidan again, mouth opening and closer. Finally, the only thing he could manage was: “Shit.”
AIDAN: Aidan’s mind was going a million miles a minute. He had so many questions. So many things that didn’t make sense. That weren’t clicking. How did Opal get here? (He knew how she knew their plans, because in a desperate attempt to try to fix their family, Aidan had asked Opal if she wanted to come. She’d never replied. This was probably why.)
What did Opal want?
That was the real question. One that Aidan couldn’t figure out the answer to. Especially not with his twin panic-whispering in his ear. He elbowed Bell in the ribs, trying to get him to shut up. Hoping the pain would give him something else to focus on instead of whatever was going on in his head, because that was clearly not helpful.
“You’re not gonna spill the beans,” Aidan finally blustered.
“No?” Opal blinked, her big eyes going even bigger.
“No. Because that would be bad.”
“Because that would be bad,” Opal repeated in a deadpan.
“Yeah. Messing with time magic is, uhm, dangerous.”
“And yet, you thought that you and Bell?” Opal’s eyes slid between them. “Could come back and change our entire family history and it was just going to all work out fine? C’mon, Aidan. You’re smarter than that. Why do you even want Maman and Daddy back together? All they ever did was fight.” Opal wrinkled her nose.
“That’s not true. They’re not fighting now,” Aidan defended, feeling something burning in his chest. Unlike Opal, he’d always tried so hard to get Maman to care. He got the best grades. He was in all the extracurriculars. He had even told her at one point that he was gonna be a solicitor, just like her. And when none of that worked, he played with fire and dabbled with demons to try and get her attention. He thought about their father like a hero of a Greek tragedy, pulled away by nothing more than fate. Someone who wanted to be there, but couldn’t. Their family was broken, but they were powerful Magicks and a powerful family and they could fix it. They needed to fix it.
BELL: Every bone in Bell’s body screamed one thing and one thing only: abort mission!
If Opal was right– and she could be lying, because Opal liked to lie; she called it acting– then this coulda been another miscalculation on their parts. What would Auntie Xuemei actually do if she wasn’t, er, Auntie Xuemei yet? She’d think they were mad. She’d probably turn them into Belle. And then what? Mission over, imploded, dead, gone, buried– they might as well hit the reset button and go back to the future for take two. (There was not take two; Howl Pendragon made that clear.)
But if Opal was lying, maybe she knew that Auntie Xuemei was the right person to go to… and so she was trying to throw ‘em off the scent! If that was the case, they should tell their big sister to fuck off, and stuff!
But time magic was dangerous. Aidan just said it. Bell considered this on the scale.
It made sense to retreat, get more information, and return. They could at the very least figure out for themselves the two things Opal claimed: 1. Xuemei was still going by Snow and 2. She and Belle weren’t close friends.
Right, cool, good, mm, yes. Retreat was their best bet.
He grabbed Aidan’s sleeve. “I think we should leave,” he said.
“Yes, I think you should leave,” chirped Opal. “Uh, where are you staying by the way?”
“None of your business,” Bell said quickly.
“Well, you are my little brothers, I want to make sure you’re not going to get kidnapped by trolls or something.”
“We won’t get kidnapped by trolls,” said Bell. “We…are experts at trolls.”
“So you are in the woods.”
“No!” Dammit. “We’re in town. Somewhere. It’s secret. Xan,” Bell said more urgently, once again pulling on his brother’s sleeve. “We really should go.”
Opal giggled. “Well don’t let me chase you out.”
“That’s literally what you’re doing.”
“Yeah, I know!” Opal giggled louder. “That was sarcasm!”
AIDAN: Aidan scowled as Bellamy tried to tug him away. And almost gave away where they were staying. (How was Opal managing to stay at the Inn, by the way? A thought that would plague Aidan.) He just wanted to get more stubborn. Root himself to the floor and not leave. He had a feeling that Opal was trying to get them out of here because it meant they were close to something. Or she was worried about them exposing her.
“Stop,” he hissed at his brother, jerking his arm away from Bellamy.
“Why should we believe you?” Aidan said, jutting his chin out.
“Because you’re doubting me right now, which means you didn’t even do your research,” Opal pointed out with an eye roll. “Seriously, why would you come to the past if you don’t know anything about it?”
“We know things,” he said, jutting his chin out.
“Yeah. Ooookay. Well, I am not going to let you spoil things for me with your stupidness. So, please leave.” She smiled sweetly at them.
Aidan glared. “What are you doing here?” he repeated his original question.
“What if I told you it was the same reason you were here?”
“I wouldn’t believe you.”
“Sounds like a personal problem.” Opal shrugged.
Miss Song is coming, whispered Lady Miracle in both his and Bellamy’s ears. She was still sitting at her table, but when Aidan glanced her way, she disappeared.
“Fine. Bell, we’re leaving.” He grabbed his brother by the sleeve and started tugging him out of the room.
“Bye!” Opal giggled behind them.
