TMNT AU Idea the Foot Clan

What if the turtle bois weren't raised by Splinter but rather raised by Shredder/Oruku Saki. I'm still thinking about how they got kidnapped and where it goes from there but to quickly say they are indoctrinated into believing the foot clan's ideals and beliefs to bring New York under their heel.

The Foot Turtles

Foot Leonardo: He's the faithful servant that doesn't know how to think for himself, like he believes fully that his master is everything there is and puts nothing else in his eyes, he is also rash even if skilled, he tries to act calm and collected but he has a really short fuse whenever someone or one of his brothers talks badly about Shredder or Karai he would have them put them in their place, he is a mix of both 03 and Rise, Leo is pretty ominous when fighting him he acts like a ghost as he turns invisible to make you question where the pitch or tone of his voice is coming from til he has you in his hands before you could beat him, Leo takes the role of an assassin religiously Leo kills his targets quick so they wouldn't suffer. he's in charge of his brothers despite being fully close to them he spends his time as a teacher in the foot ranks, he spend his time assuming the role of Shredders personal Ninja learning from both Kunoichi and Shinobi honing their skills and lessons ever since the older ones taught the blue turtle at a young age, the Blue Turtle believes he is helping the world saving the people from themselves. Leo is the Ghost of the urban jungle.

The eldest turtle is a red ear slider turtle adding more red patterns to connect from his face to his arms and legs almost like the phases of the moon,he has brown and green hazel eyes and his armor is a mix of both a Samurai and a Ninja, his bandana is a dark blue with ocean patterns behind it, scars are etched into his biceps and legs for the hard enduring training from the Kunoichi and Shinobi foot member's, he has a sash wrapped in his chest proudly wearing the foot colors and their symbol stamped on his armor pauldrons

Foot Raphael: He's the rash brat with a violent temper and aggressive attitude with how he was picked on or mocked at as a mutant turtle, he thinks he's the strongest one amongst the foot clan is, he is somewhat arrogant because of his harsh training with Oruku, Shredder has put the red banded turtle through hell and torture training Raph physically and mentally with a blend of manipulation. The big guy believes what Saki did to him is the right thing to him, Raph has a sense of superiority due to being chosen by Oruku with a baggage of the need of validation from his master to have the Mantle of his title was indeed an honor to Raphael, if something happens to Oruku than the red turtle would become the next Shredder, he would never let his brothers hear the end of it, if they got cocky about their abilities or how they think they'll beat him. Raph is a aggressive fighter that uses you're expectations of him and exploits that to his advantage to purposefully miss his attacks til you lose, the big red turtle is quick and finishes his target. Raph has the most compassion when giving his trust and believing that shredder is counting on him, his sense of validation is ever present to show he can be a better son and a hero of NYC he's a mix blend of 2k12 and Rise Raph

Raphael is an alligator snapping turtle with ocean blue eyes, spikes on his shell, sharp nails and spikes on his skin, but most of it has to be filed down or completely removed, Raph has armor that is both armored and cloth covered giving that he is an apprentice of Oruku becoming the next Shredder, his red bandana covered half of his face while wearing a whole face mask leaving his eyes exposed that have black and red eyeshadow to blend with his mask which has kanji written behind, along with the foot clan symbol on top of his mask,

Foot Donatello: Donnie is a practical thinker, he believes fighting is useless and so he makes the best and most efficient choices to keep one from happening he's more focus on surveying his brothers and keeping them out of trouble trying not to care but still does. Donnie won't hesitate to prevent his brothers from fighting because of some occasions they would fight each other for Shredders attention, but the purple turtle at times has to commit acts of violence or assassination like his brothers when Shredder demands it and Donnie has to begrudgingly accept while being empathetic in taking out his target. Donnie has a moral compass that makes him question if what he and his brothers are doing the right thing and this dilemma is ever growing onto him, being Shredders covert spy says a lot about how the foot spies depend on Don to give and process crucial information to expose the foots enemies. He's a mix of Rise and IDW Donnie

Donnie is a spotted turtle painting his shell in purple dots shaping it into a purple dragon, his eye color is honey gold colored and he wears a long sleeve jacket with a bandana that covers his head with the dragon pattern from behind, fishnet top and leggings, both covered in leather and black wraps along with a strapped chest belt with the foot insignia. With a wrist com that acts as his mini computer and a wrist phone to call his brothers

Foot Michelangelo: out of all of the brothers Mikey is the most violent turtle trained to become Shredders personal weapon of war who is to believe he relishes in his passion for violence, he's the rebel out of the group and would sometimes talk back at Shredder or Karai, he would learn his lesson when he loses or is beaten down by Oruku, Mike has emotions but he simply cares about himself too much about himself and his own feelings than everyone else's. He knows he's good at his job and would gladly boast and revel in it, the orange turtle holds a lot of this pain and expresses it through fighting and taking out his target's and people would rather have anyone else to take them out than Mikey because he'll have you afraid before lights out he likes to him tunes and make them louder when he's getting closer, Mikey is very cynical and makes dark jokes to mask how much he despises how his life is and how he really hates yet loves the Shredder since he's the closest father figure the orange turtle ever knew. He's a hybrid of Rise, Last Ronin and 2k12 Mikey

Mikey's a box turtle with golden dark yellow circles on his shell, he wears more punk styled clothes to feel like he's a punk, blue dark jeans with spike, a black hoodie with a leather harness with a black headband with flame edges at the back, underneath his black hoodie a black shirt with the foot ninja symbol, and a tongue piercing he won after defeating 80 clan members without letting them take off his bandana.

tailor!mitsuya unable to concentrate on stitching up a torn dress with the incessant clanging in the background and snapping at blacksmith!pah-chin, who’s busy forging knight!baji a new sword. mitsuya chastises baji for being so careless, but all baji does is grumble and turn away, black oil and dirt smeared on his flushed cheeks and long hair clinging to his sweat-stained forehead from his previous sparring session.

cyberpunk!sanzu, who’s already inebriated but continues to drown deeper in the neon lights of the club as he pops an array of glowing pills into his mouth, body numb to the robotic assistants that hum around him and intermingle with the equally delirious crowd in case someone were to collapse from overdosing

masquerade!mitsuya, who smiles at you with such kindness and respect as he guides you onto the marble floor that you immediately resolve to discover his identity at a later date

masquerade!kakucho, who does everything in his power to prevent you from uncovering his identity. masquerade!kakucho, who fears that you’ll be disgusted with his deformed appearance once you see his scar.

samurai!yuzuha, who rescues you from a band of thieves but is perplexed when you insist on repaying her goodwill. samurai!yuzuha, who eventually starts coming to you whenever she needs her wounds bandaged or a home-cooked meal. samurai!yuzuha, who refuses to let you touch her sword with your pure, unsullied hands.

potion-maker!ran, who always despises when rindou barges into his workspace for nothing else than to tip over a couple jars and poke fun at his craft. potion-maker!ran, whose skin and hair have been permanently imprinted with the scent of clove and allspice berries. potion-maker!ran, who concocts love spells and perfumes that grant increased intimacy for the lovesick women who visit him when their own assets aren’t working. potion-maker!ran, who smiles charmingly and calls his female customers “darling.” potion-maker!ran, who has no problem with allowing them to test his products on him in order to guarantee their potency—but only if they’re attractive and have a pretty penny to spare :)

farmer!chifuyu, who’s too shy to approach the seamstress’s daughter, so he resigns himself to only admiring her from afar until she makes a move herself. farmer!chifuyu, who’s beyond embarrassed when he accidentally bumps into her, the dirt and grime on his clothing soiling her pristine outfit. farmer!chifuyu, who tries to brush it off, only to panic when the dust on his hands stains the fabric. farmer!chifuyu, who shows up at your mother’s shop the next day to apologize and is nearly chased out due to his kind “not belonging there,” only for you to object and invite him in, claiming that he’s your friend.

town crier!nahoya, who sometimes slips a swear word or two into his announcements and prefers to storm the town on horseback, disregarding his elaborate attire. town crier!nahoya, who has definitely snatched you off the street during his routes, leaving you to cling to his sweat-dampened clothes and shout at him for being such an imbecile.

shapeshifter!nahoya, who diligently keeps his eyes closed because he can change everything about his appearance, except for his distinctive eye color.

Hero 108 season 3 AU idea!

My idea of season three:

Few Weeks After Twin masters’s defeat, everything in Hidden Kingdom got better and everyone had tried to rebuild their lives. High Roller and his lackeys suddenly disappeared and aren’t seen again. Animals and humans were now at peace again. Until an unknown Foe arrived in hidden kingdom. Like everyone in hidden kingdom, they are humans and animals. But unlike them, their technology, culture and weapons are much more advanced(think Cyberpunk-steampunk-dieselpunk) and wear futuristic, modern clothes/armor. They come from a different world called the Jin Ping Mei Empire. They attacked the hidden kingdom and many people tried to fight back including Big green. It was a dystopian war and the war last six months. After a intense battle, the tyrannical Jin Ping Mei Empire succeeded into taking over hidden Kingdom and many lives are lost. They captured the remaining humans and animals from hidden kingdom as their slaves. But all hope is not lost for The hidden kingdom. Big green survived but not before losing some of their members to the war and all of them went on a hiding until they find a way to stop The Jin Ping Mei Empire. The first squad and second squad decided to leave Big green and went on a quest to stop the Jin Ping Mei Empire. Three years later, the first squad and second squad return and were now bigger and stronger than ever. They had gain new allies of their own and had new weapons. They band together to stop Jin Ping Mei Empire and Save hidden kingdom once and for all. The Golden Lotus and their cult will be the main villains and were masterminds behind the Jin Ping Mei empire. The golden Lotus will manipulate Ximen Qing(who is the president and ruler of the Jin Píng Mei empire) and he end up becoming their puppet.

1. Jing Ping Mei empire’s culture is based off America, United Kingdom, Japan and China.

2. Ximen Qing is like the Chinese version of Donald trump.

3. Pan Jinlian will appeared in this story and was the love interest of Dog king. But after Dog King’s mysterious death in the Jing Ping Mei Empire, Pan Jinlian blame Big green for not finding his body and not saving him. She left. Three years later, She return for unknown reasons and Told Big green that she had move on her lover’s death and decided to join Big green in honor of her decreased Spouse. Wu song didn’t trust Pan Jinlian because she suspiciously changed His brother’s behavior and habits. Wu Song suspects there something Fishy about her. Pan jinlian’s personality will be sweet, kind, caring and supportive but had notorious motives and plans. She adored Dog king and sometimes treat him like pet puppy. She is very hardworking with her job as a nurse in big green. She is very calm and cool when it come to danger and would not let anger, stress or fear let her. Despite her friendly and innocent exterior, Pan jinlian may or may not had connections to the golden lotus and the children of twin masters

4. Mr Nohands is now a badass cyborg and gain new robotic arms after he forcibly chopped off his hands when his stockade is destroyed during the Jing Ping mei war. After losing his arms and getting new mechanical arms, He decided he done being lazy and now learn to become a more skilled and competent fighter. He is currently the general and second-in-command of ApeTrully.

5. ApeTrully’s secret is accidentally revealed during the Jing Ping mei war. He managed to saved Woo from being killed by Jing Píng Mei soldiers. He survived but it end with him being injured and his disguise is damaged. ApeTrully lose consciousness and is sent to the medic camp where everyone found out he is a monkey when the doctors remove his “clothes” to bandaged his wounds. ApeTrully is ashamed when he realized everyone now know he a monkey. He about to leave big green until Lin Chung and Woo stop him. Everyone in the big green told him they cannot be a rebellion without him being a leader and they didn’t care if he a monkey or not because he still their natural born leader.

6. Glitchout will be voiced by Michaela Dietz or Nina futterman. Missy Metalmice will be voiced by April Winchell. Sandā Will be voiced by Greg Cipes. Pan Jinlian will be voiced by Britt McKillip or Jayma Mays. Ximen Qing will be voiced by Erica Bauza. The golden lotus will remain silent until the end of season 3.

7. For my season 3 idea, Twin masters did get resurrected by the ritual later in series but end up becoming cleansed of his evil thanks to an accident that messed up the ritual. Instead of a malevolent eldritch abomination, standing there was a smol baby Yang Tu with no memories of his past life. The two things he retain from his past is his godly powers and heterochromia eyes(red and blue respectively). The first squad rescued the now amnesiac infant Yang Tu from the children of Twin masters. They decided to adopt and raised him to ensure that he grows up right. They named the baby Yang-ming. Lin Chung will have a soft father-son/brotherly relationship with Yang-Ming and it will be sweet. Everyone in big green decided NOT to reveal Yang Ming’s true identity and had to make sure Yang Ming will not turn evil and make mistakes like his past selves. Despite raising Yang Ming into a sweet and loving kid, Lin Chung start to have nightmares about what happen if Yang Ming regained his memories, become evil again and killed everyone including himself.

8. High Roller and his Lackeys will return in my season 3 au. Like the first and second squad, they come back bigger and stronger and they had become very dangerous crime lords themselves. They gain new allies. The new allies are the five Japanese mad max-inspired mercenaries with the leader being a Ninja-pirate-cowboy-biker named Daisuke who look, speak and fight like Bruce Lee. He be human while The bounty hunters will be Tanuki, Kitsune, Bakeneko and Kappa. They are called The Feral five.

9. The new allies will be a orphan girl, a Kamaitachi who is a ex-member of the feral five(formerly the savage six) and a Mouse who fights in a mecha. The orphan girl will be named Glitchout and serve as the hacker and brains of the trio. She a very spunky and energetic tomboy who enjoy videogames, reading comic books, eating candy and hanging out with her friends. Her abilities is building high tech Weapons/robots, highly skilled in hacking/coding and skilled in street parkour. She a nine year old girl with a bit chubby build and purple wide eyes, pale skin and had shoulder-length hair dyed in Pink, magenta, purple and blue and tied up in low pigtails, Magenta goggles over her head, magenta t-shirt, blue overall shorts, pink and magenta striped tights, a purple hoodie wrapped around her waist, pink fingerless gloves and blue converse boots. Mouse will be named Missy Metalmice and is the brawler of the trio. Despite being a adorable Tiny mouse, she is a fearless and ferocious fighter who is not a person to mess with and will crush her enemy if they poke fun at her height and cute appearance. She hated and cannot stand being treated like a timid, defenseless creature and can be very hotheaded about it. Despite her aloof, stoic and cold exterior, she is a wise, supportive and understanding friend who care for her loved ones and will beat her enemies if they tried to harm them. She serve as a protective but caring mother figure to Glitchout. She is a adorable pink mouse with blue eyes and wear skull earrings, red pink bow, eyeliner and black eyeshadow. Her mecha is seven foot tall, samurai themed and had black and red colour schemes. She had a secret crush on jumpy ghostface. The Kamaitachi will be named Sandā and the speedster of the trio. Despite looking like a fearsome and frightening beast, in reality Sandā is a very kindhearted and friendly pacifist who refused to killed a living being. Here's my Hot Take™ on how Defenders of Tomorrow would go down (Pt.1)

-It would start out on earth with the cyberpunk aesthetic™ in a city named Arus

-Instead of the Garrison being a space exploration school, it would be like the main police force

-It's kind of like a cowboy bebop like universe, where the planets in the solar system are colonized and you can travel between them

-Each planet has a Representative, like a Planet President

-Earths Representative is Sam Holt (idk what his name is in the VDT universe tho)

-Aliens and humans live side by side/ aliens have already been introduced to earth and all the other planets

-The Galra are still aliens but the Galra empire is a gang simply called 'The Empire'

- Daibazaal and Altea were both planets in the same solar system

-All the paladins of old were a representive for a planet in their collective solar system

-Alfor was Altea's representative and Zarkon was Daibazaal's obv

-Quintessence is a power drug that was created by Honerva (don't know her VDT name) who was Vice President of Altea, once she married zarkon she became Vice President of Daibazaal

-Alfor and Zarkon got into a dispute over the production and sales of quintessence and a civil war broke out between the planets of the solar system

-Alfor and Honvera became addicted to quintessence over this time

-Alfor won the civil war against Zarkon and Daibazaal was banished from solar system

-Zarkon gathered together all the remaining galran after being banished and banded them together to take over altea

-Altea and the remaining planets in the solar system were taken over and destroyed by a quintessence powered up drugged Zarkon

-There's no 10,000 year time skip but there is 18-19 year time gap between current and these events

-Before altea was destroyed Vex (VDT Coran) and Alzina (VDT Allura) were sent out into space on the Castle ship which they title castle of lions. Alzina was a baby at this time

-Zarkon and Honvera (now calling herself by her gang name Haggar) build up a gang that specializes in quintessence

-Their industry has taken over the underground of tons of solar systems

-Vex pilots the ship to Earths solar system after hearing the Empire hadn't reached there yet and they land on earth

-Vex raises Alzina on earth yet they still live out of the castle ship

-Vex and Alzina know they're aliens in my take

-They both live on the down low bc they don't want to be discovered as alteans, as the whole universe knows about the Altean civil war and Vex and Alzina don't want word to spread to zarkon about them being alive

-Alzina is a badass who works in the underground as a chemist

-Alzina is the one who starts the paladin name system, she uses the name Pink Paladin while interacting in the public as to not reveal her identity

-Alzina still has her good morals and does her fair share of bounty hunting as well

-Alzina is bi

-The Empire catches word that there's an untapped quintessence potential in Earths solar system and decides to head there to take over the underground

-Shiro is a high ranked officer at the Garrison and is sent out on a mission to Kerberos (which hasn't been colonized yet) along with Matt Holt (don't know his VDT name) and Sam Holt to inspect Kerberos and determine if it should be colonized

-Shiro is gay obv

-Pluto is a mining planet in this btw, no one lives there full time

-While on the mission to Kerberos the galra capture them in hopes to use them as bargaining tools

-there is a one year time skip between when Shiro and the others were captured to the current time the au takes place in btw

-The Empire begins to take over the underground of the other planets in Earth's solar system during this time

-Akira (Keith) was a garrison student in training under Shiro's guidance but dropped out after Shiro was taken to look for him in the underground

-I've been saying underground a lot and I want y'all to know I don't literally mean underground the planets but like the crime land, the black market y'all kno

-Krolia (idk VDT name) was part of a rival gang to the Empire called the Blade of Marmora. Krolia was still a spy in this

-Krolia has Akira and Alice (VDT Acxa) with Texas kogane before going back to the Blade bringing Alice with her (they're twins)

-Texas was killed in the underground and Akira was abandoned

-Akira was adopted by Shiro and put in the Garrison. Akira and Shiro had a beyond close bond and loved each other v much

-Akira is gay

-Akira didn't care about what shit he fucked up, he only cared about finding Shiro so he was p reckless but he wasn't like intentionally hurting people

-Akira obvs had a motorcycle

-Leandro (Lance) was a garrison drop out who decided that the police force was 'too tame' for him

-Leandro works as basically a full on bounty hunter by the name 'The Tailor', he also steals occasionally and also isn't worried about being reckless but he still cares about people

-Leandro is Bi

-One time Leandro was in a fight and was about to lose when Akira showed up in a motorcycle to save him last minute

-Akira and Leandro didn't know each other at this time but Leandro swore he would repay Akira if the day ever came when he needed help

-Leandro doesn't know Akira's name at this point, but he nicknames him Samurai after seeing Akira fight with a knife

-Akira also doesn't know Leandro's real name but Leandro introduced himself as the tailor when they first met

-Leandro does end up getting Akira out of a tough situation and the two make it their thing to save each other

-Henare (Hunk) was a garrison student as well but he never dropped out and planned to work for the police

-Henare and Leandro were best friends from when Leandro spent a short time at the garrison. They never lost their bond but Henare doesn't approve of what Leandro is doing, but he wouldn't ever rat out his friend

-Henare is Pansexual

-Bounty hunting/Vigilante action is kinda illegal in this world. Instead of turning in their bounties to the police for reward, bounty hunters catches are sold underground

-Laya (Pidge) is an engineer/hacker and overall genius who despite growing up with a Garrison dedicated family loved messing around and would often venture to the underground and black market with Matt to buy new parts for robots and to get up to schenagines

-After Matt and Sam went missing she changed her name to Pana and went underground full time in the hopes of finding him (she done pull an Akira)

-Pana sells information and robots to the blackmarket and works as a kind of an on call hacker

-Pana is asexual

-Pana became friends with Leandro after she makes a deal that goes sour and Leandro comes in last minute and takes the guy out

-Leandro notices how young Pana is and makes sure to keep an eye out from then on out and realizing he won't go away Pana begins to work with him in hopes of information on Matt.

-Pana ends up actually caring about him and the two take on a brother-sister kinda role though she won't admit it

-Pana becomes friends with Henare through Leandro and the two instantly bond over their love of engineering

-Pana builds rover when she first went to live in the underground full time to keep her company and rover is like her lil sidekick aw

-Shiro lives within the Empire for a year and when the Empire let's their guard down, Shiro is able to grab a small pod like ship and high tails it back to earth

-He crash lands on earth in the desert outside of Arus

-Shiro lost an arm while in the Empire in this as well and when he crash lands he damages his leg beyond repair

- Dante (VDT Adam) will build Shiro a new arm and leg and they'll bond and end up dating

- Pana, Leandro and Henare will get together with Akira when saving Shiro from the crash

-Alzina and Vex will get together with everyone else during a fight

-Alice will have been seperated from Krolia and will have joined up with Lotor and the generals

-Lotor broke away from his parents will have arranged a mini gang with the generals to go against the Empire

-Alzina and the crew will build fighter ships which they'll name blue lion, red lion, yellow line, green lion and black lion (yes the lions are fighter ships in this)

-The galra will come to take over and the the team including Dante will fight back.

-They call themselves the paladins and each name themselves after a color

-they'll call their whole operation voltron

-Rowan (Romelle) will be one of the alteans that was born off altea as her parents were off planet when it was destroyed. Lotor offers her and other alteans the opportunity to join his mini gang and she takes it. She works with lotor for awhile but leaves after believing he's not what he says he is.

-She goes to earth to escape him and the Empire and ends up meeting the rest of the gang

-Her and Alzina eventually become a thing

-And y'all already know leakira is happening

“Mmm,” Larry says, a grubby, band-aid wrapped hands clamped down tight over his mouth. His quirk’s acting up again. “Mmmmpphhhhhhh.” He slices the free hand sideways, hard, and Phoenix nods.

“Uh, obviously,” he agrees. Bounces to Larry’s right-hand-side, nudging him hard in the shoulder with a bright smile-- “The blue samurai is better, though.”

“MMMMPPHH!!!”

Phoenix has been friends with Larry Butz since they were in diapers, basically, and best friends since everyone’s quirks started coming in and it was obvious they were the odd-ones-out. Phoenix, obviously: nobody wants to be friends with the weird kid with no parents and no quirk. Larry, well—

Poor Larry.

“Whaddya think of that guy, Nick?”

Phoenix ignored him. He loves Larry, he really does, but he’s busy. The teachers given them all free time, and he wanted to draw the pretty bird he’d seen on the way to school. It had been brown. With splotches.

“Niiiiiiick.”

Nope.

“NICK!!!”

The teacher looked up from her desk. “Volume, Larry,” she warned. Larry apologized. Ducked closer to Phoenix, poking him none-too-gently in the ribs.

“Ph-oe-nix Wr-i-ght,” he whispered, “whaddya think of that—”

“He’s just a new kid, Larry.” Phoenix set the crayon down on his desk with a hard clack and turned towards his no-good-jerk-of-a-friend. “So what?”

“His quirk’s cool, s’all.” Larry paused. “Maybe he wants to be friends!”

Larry wasn’t wrong about everything. The new kid-- a boy with silver-grey hair and flat brown eyes and the weirdest outfit Phoenix had seen in his LIFE-- had introduced himself (Miles Edgeworth) his father (a lawyer) and, to the fascination of everyone in the class, his quirk (he called it Checkmate).

Still-- “Dude. With us?”

Dollie’s butterflies were gorgeous. Almost as pretty as she was.

“O-oh,” she’d mumbled, when he told her so. “You…you think?”

“What?? Didn’t anybody tell you?” Phoenix took one of her ice-cold hands in his, gently. “They’re, um—” C’mon, Wright, get it right. “They’re ethereal. And when they land, they paint the landscape with frost, and it takes my breath away. So.” He grinned. “Almost as pretty as you.”

It really was a pretty, pretty quirk. Illusions— but they were cold illusions, and could leave frost behind if she didn’t mind them carefully. Phoenix preferred it when she didn’t. Distant traces of beauty, indeed…

Dollie giggled. Stopped. Ducked her head.

“You know,” she said—sad, she was sad, what did Phoenix do? Fuck. “You know, my Mother, she was upset when—my quirk came in. That I had a quirk at all.”

“She was what?”

“Yes,” Dollie confirmed. Continued. “But it was…is, complicated. I haven’t seen her in a long time, you see. Maybe it doesn’t matter.”

“Dollie—”

Dollie dropped his hand. “…I don’t want to talk about this anymore. I... Feenie, can we—change the subject? For me?”

Phoenix would do a lot of things, for her.

The girls for my Japanese Folklore AU.

Design run down.

Nichole: A long yellow kimono with a pink sash and pink sakura blossoms printed onto it. Nichole has the longest kimono that drags two feet behind her. She has the longest sleeves of all characters. Her trunk is used to eat the nightmares of people. She cares for Token. She is also the shortest of all the characters.

Bebe: Red kimono with a black sash. She wears a light blue mask to cover her face scar that the kuchisake onna gave her (See her scar in second Bebe head). She hides needle and thread in her sash (obi) to sew Clyde up when he falls apart. She is the tallest of the girls with legs. She also will borrow Kyle's fox mask when she's having a bad day about her face.

Wendy: Purple kimono with a yellow sash. She carries a purple umbrella as she is an ame onna. She has a pink Alice band in her hair. When she feels a little masculine she’ll wear yellow hakama (male trousers that some samurai wear). She has red eye’s unlike the other spirits, otherwise she’d just look completely human.

Red: Midnight blue kimono (dark blue with purple) with purple sash. Craig has always wanted his cousins kimono as it looks like the night sky. Has a black beak and black wings. Sometimes she can use magic to hide her beak.

Heidi: a short light green kimono with red sash. Her tail is dark green with a cream/orange underbelly. Her hat is the same as it is in canon. If she stood on the tip of her tail she would be 3 meters long. She prefers however to be about 5 feet tall so she doesn’t scare her friends. The Legend Never Dies [1/?]

I start too many chaptered fics, don’t I? But I really wanted to write this one, so I couldn’t help myself. The fic is based on this post and named after this song (since I can’t come up with good titles). My friend send me the picture and was like ‘I need an AU for this’, so I made one up. Thanks to Merch for beta-reading it!

“Have you heard of the witch of Lancon?”

“Yes! Awful, right?”

“I don’t think I could sleep in peace if I lived close to there.”

“I heard her powers are so strong that whoever will be able to defeat her is powerful enough to take down the demon queen!”

“No way!”

“Does such a person even exist?”

“There has to be, or we’re doomed.”

“Next!”

Alfred grinned brightly when he was called to the counter. He pulled out a poster and slammed it confidently on the surface. The receptionist didn’t even bat an eyelid.

“This!” He exclaimed. “I need this to be hung up on the main board!”

The receptionist’s tag read ‘Erika’. Erika smiled sweetly and took the poster, studying it, before she looked up again at Alfred. “That would make 14 silver Tainons.”

Alfred searched out his purse and put the coins on the counter, his smile not faltering.

Erika smiled back and took the coins. “Thank you very much. We will copy the poster a few times and hang it up immediately.”

Alfred smiled again. “Thanks Eri!”

“It’s Erika.” Her voice was soft despite the scolding. “And no problem, it’s my job afterall and I love it, despite it being tiring sometimes.” She nodded at him and Alfred waved and left, heading towards the inn where he wrote in the poster he’d wait for people interested to join.

It was the day after he had been to the guild, nine in the morning, and Alfred sat at one of the tables, yawning and still not fully awake.

“Excuse me. I take it that you’re the one looking for people to help you taking down the witch of Lancon?”

“Sure!” Alfred smiled at the guy standing in front of his table. One of the man’s snow white fox ears protruding from his black hair twitched slightly at the noise in the inn and Alfred could see three equally white tails swishing behind his back, indicating he was at least 300 years old. So he was a kitsune.

His face was ageless, but his dark amber eyes suggested he was older than most people would assume. Alfred only barely remembered the name of the purple and white eastern shrine priest clothing with long sleeves covering his hands -kurinigu- and made an internal note to look more into these things so he wouldn’t slip up and say something wrong when talking to him.

He motioned to the seat in front of him. “Sit down and we’ll talk about details.” The kitsune sat down and bowed his head slightly.

“My name is Kiku. I saw your poster in the guild and took interest in your quest. I would like to join, if you don’t mind.”

Alfred studied Kiku’s expression, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t read it, and all he could tell from his scent is that he was a beta.

“So, what are your skills? What do you specialize in?”

Kiku bowed again. “Like everyone in my kin, I am versed in illusion and fire magic, as well as transforming my body. I also learnt the way of the katana by samurais passing by our shrine. Sadly I am not skilled enough yet to be taught in the art of flying and possessing. Can this be to you of any help?”

Alfred nodded. “Sounds great! Sure, you can join my team!”

Kiku bowed again before he got up, dusting himself off a bit. “Then I will prepare everything and come back tomorrow at the same time.”

“See ya!” Alfred waved enthusiastically whereas Kiku just bowed and left. That guy sure liked to bow.

“This your poster?”

Alfred looked up when a hand slammed his request poster on the table. It was the second person who came by today, just a few hours after Kiku, who had come in the morning. Lunch time had already passed and now it was early afternoon. He met eyes with the cold glare of an alpha girl.

“Yep. Something wrong with it?”

“No. I would like to join your team.” Alfred motioned for her to sit down, but she kept standing. Alfred sighed and got up himself to be on the same level as her. Something about her smelled off, artificial even.

“So?” He asked her with a raised eyebrow while giving her a quick look all over. She was smaller than him, a dark blue bow in her platinum hair, her purple eyes cold and calculating. Almost everything about her was dark. She was wearing relatively tight clothes, a black short-sleeved turtleneck shirt, dark blue protective sleeves, long black pants and black boots. Alfred couldn’t tell where her pants ended and her boots started, since her loose white leg warmers, tied up and held in place with bands, covered up that part.

“I was trained as an assassin.” That would explain her get up. Protective, easy to move in and most importantly easy to merge with the shadows. “I know how to fight and learned some ice and some poison based magic, as well as invisibility.”

Alfred wasn’t sure whether to agree to her request to join. Her skills sure would come in handy, but something about her put him on the edge. She could murder him any second and he wouldn’t be able to tell before his dead body hit the floor. Then again, taking down the witch of Lancon wasn’t an easy task.

“Sure. I’ll let you join.” Alfred wanted to smile at her like he usually did, but something stopped him from it. So he just held his hand out for her to shake. She took it and nodded, her cold gaze not changing.

“My name’s Natalya. Natalya Arlovskaya.”

“Natalya. Then please come back here tomorrow at ten.” She nodded again, let go of his hand and turned to go when a cheerful voice butted in.

“This is the Lion’s Inn, right? Are you the one looking for team mates?”

A small omega girl with a dark tan and thick brown hair tied into twintails by bright red bows looked excitedly from Natalya to Alfred, unsure which one of them was the one who had put up the poster on the guild’s black board. A blue corset over a long purple shirt with short puffed sleeves and white pants stuffed into comfortable looking brown laced up boots made her look even more bright and cheerful than she already was.

“That’s me yeah. And as nice as you seem to be, I can’t take omegas with me. The quest will probably take months and it would be inconvenient for everyone if you get your heat during it. Not only won’t there be guarantee of a proper room or shelter for you, but it will also throw us back days and we don’t know when the witch of Lancon will become an active threat. There are a lot of rumors about her plans and I want none of them to come true.”

The omega’s smile did not falter. “Oh, don’t worry about that! I’m quarter mermaid, that means I only get heats twice a year. And I had my last one two weeks ago, so I’m heat-free for about six months.”

“Oh! Cool!” A quarter mermaid, huh. How did that even work? Alfred decided not to think too much about it. “I guess it’s fine then! What are your skills?”

The girl tapped her fingers as she was starting to count them. “Hmm, I studied a mix of weather and water magic for about ten years, I can breathe underwater, swim fast and talk to fish.” She lowered her hand again and smiled. “Is that enough?”

“More than enough. We’re meeting here again tomorrow at ten. Looking forward to seeing you.” Alfred smiled and the girl gasped.

“I’m in? I gotta prepare! See you!” She was about to leave hurriedly, before she turned around again, almost out of the door. “I nearly forgot! I’m Michelle!” And then she was gone. Alfred turned to Natalya again, noticing how her scent had changed slightly after Michelle’s arrival and grinned to himself. Maybe Michelle wouldn’t spend her next heat alone.

It was quarter past ten the next day and everyone had finally managed to gather in front of the inn, ready to take off.

“Okay, guys, these are Kiku, Natalya and Michelle. Kiku, Natalya, Michelle, these are Ludwig, Tristan, Layla and Erin.” Alfred motioned to the people he was introducing. “I’ve already told you about these three yesterday, you already know their skills, so all that’s left is to introduce yourselves.”

Tristan began, smiling shyly, uncharacteristically for an alpha. “Hey, I’m Tristan Hazeward and I specialize in plant magic. I’m twins with Layla,(;) we’re both 21.” There was a brief moment of silence before Layla continued for her twin, hand confidently on her hip.

“The name’s Layla the Great - or Layla for short - and I’m twins with this doof of a brother!” She pulled Tristan close and ruffled his hair. “We’re both alphas, though he doesn’t really act like it. I took up sword fighting so I could protect poor and weak Tristan while he casts his spells.”

“Hey! If anything, I back you up while you fight monsters! You’re far too reckless!”

“Whatever. So yeah, that’s us. We‘ve been friends with this guy,” she jotted a thumb towards Erin, “since he was waddling around in his diapers.”

“I’ll take it from here before you make it worse.” Erin stepped forward. “I’m Erin Whittalon, beta, 17 years old. I’m an archer and ready to support and cover you during battle if you need it. Nice to meet you.”

Everyone turned to Ludwig, who cleared his throat and stepped next to Erin. “Ludwig Beilschmidt, alpha, 19. The church sent me to join this quest. I’m a swordsman.” That seemed to be his whole introduction as he stepped back again. Natalya took the next turn.

“Since that guy already told you about our skills, I’ll just introduce myself, nothing else. My name’s Natalya Arlovskaya, I’m 20 and an alpha.” Her gaze wandered towards Michelle with the last bit. Michelle didn’t seem to notice it and instead just stepped forward to introduce herself.

“Hi everyone! I’m Michelle Lionnet, 16 years old, omega and quarter mermaid! Nice to meet you all!” Alfred noticed a black choker with a blue gem in the middle and engraved waves in it, and a broad golden bracelet had been added to her get up. He wondered what they were for, seeing as she didn’t wear them yesterday. Had she noticed Natalya’s affection afterall? Then his attention was caught by Kiku, who bowed as usual before speaking up.

“A pleasure to meet everyone. My name is Kiku Honda, a beta. I am currently 300 and 9 years old. As you can see, I am kin to the kitsune priests of the divinity Inari. Please take care of me.”

“Alright! That’s everyone! I hope y'all get along well! As for myself, the name’s Alfred F. Jones, 18 years old, a quarter elf and one of my ancestors was a dragon! I’m also a sword fighter like Ludwig, Layla and Kiku!” He grinned, satisfied with his rather loud introduction. A few people had turned to look at them during it.

“Then I take it you’re the one who hung out the poster in the guild?” Everyone turned towards the new voice that had spoken up. A beta stood there, carrying a large book with him, marking him as a sorcerer, wearing a green coat as if to highlight his bright green eyes, which were currently scowling at Alfred. “Sorry I couldn’t make it yesterday. Is there still a spot open?”

“Uh… depends on your skills.”

The guy bit his lip, then straightened his back, as if he wanted to steady himself, despite being on even ground. “I’m a necromancer.”

Necromancer. If there was anything Alfred didn’t like at all, it was ghosts. “Sorry dude. We already got many strong fighters. Somebody with healing skills would be better.”

“Oh, I can heal! I learnt it while I was studying necromancing, since these two are sort of connected!”

He seemed a bit desperate to get on the team. Alfred almost wanted to decline since he was kind of fishy, but they really needed someone who could heal.

“Alright.” He agreed reluctantly. “You’re in. Introduce yourself to everyone.” A ghost of a relieved smile danced over the guy’s features before he turned to the rest of the group.

“My name is Arthur Kirkland, 17 years old. This is Snowball.”

“Snowball?” As if on cue, the white fur on Arthur’s collar began to move, then something black peeked out of it, clambering onto Arthur’s shoulder. Snowball was the most unfitting name there could possibly be for the black kitten with twinkling yellow eyes, now sitting on Arthur’s shoulder and yawning cutely. A greyish glow surrounded it, but neither Snowball nor Arthur seemed to be bothered by it.

“Snowball. I resurrected her last week. It wasn’t her time yet.”

Layla snorted. “That’s the most ridiculous name I’ve ever heard.” Arthur glared at her and Snowball mewled protestingly, as if to say 'My name is great!’. Layla didn’t seem to care about the threat.

“Shouldn’t we get moving soon?” Erin piped in. “We can introduce everyone to Arthur on the way, but the longer we stand here, the more time the witch of Lancon has to prepare for whatever she’s planning.”

Everyone agreed with Erin, who had stepped in as a peacemaker, and so they finally set off, towards east, where the White Mist Mountains were located, and right in the middle the highest of them all, the one called Lancon.

Okay finally becoming a BES writer after I convinced myself Mizu would sooooooo be a bassist. This is a combo of modern Mizu relationship hcs and band+uni hcs :3 warning, I hardly edited this because I'm tired. Also I WILL be taking Mizu requests

Mizu is oddly good at home decorating? It’s not a hobby or interest of hers, in fact, she thinks her room is quite plain, but the cohesive colors and pretty decent-looking fake plants say otherwise. (She would love to buy real plants, but she frequently gets swept up with time to care for them properly.)

A lot of your apartment is decorated by her, but in the sense that you asked her if an item would work with house and she either liked or disliked it. She wouldn’t have really cared about shopping for home decor if not for you.

Mizu gets so upset when it’s hot out since she can’t go a day without wearing layers. The apartment (or her room at least) is cold 24/7 whether you like it or not

She tries to go grocery shopping with you as often as possible despite her lack of cooking abilities. Her memory is perfect, so you rarely ever need to make a grocery list! Plus, she likes doing simple things with you. Her childhood was chaotic, so the normalcy of shopping with someone she loves puts her at peace.

She survives off of snacks; it’s a terrible habit of hers, and she knows. It gets worse when either you’re not at home to cook, or she’s out somewhere else. Normally, she walks into the kitchen when she smells food or when you call for her, but she’ll completely forget to eat a real meal otherwise.

Though Mizu rarely (if not ever) has guests over, she makes sure your space and things are respected. If you’re out and your room door is open, she’ll close it. Any special glassware that you bought for personal use, like mugs? Nobody is allowed to touch them.

She’s gotten mad at Taigen for messing with your stuff before.

She isn’t much of a clean freak, but she’d prefer to have things kept orderly as often as possible. She enjoys splitting the chores with you, especially seasonal cleaning.

She’s extremely mindful of personal space. Even if she thinks you look adorable napping on the couch, the most she’ll do is kiss your face and fix your blanket. She’d love to join, really, but she’s afraid of waking you or making you uncomfortable. The last thing she wants to do is disrespect you.

She’s extremely touch-starved but doesn’t know how to make physical contact with you at first. She opened up when you first got together and started asking her for hugs, etc. Now, she loves the smallest of purposeful, or accidental touches, whether it’s brushing up against her, or her hand resting at your hip or waist while you’re out together.

Though you have separate rooms, you’ll sleep together on most nights (usually in your room– she finds your bed more comfortable, plus your room smells like you!)

The only time she heavily insists on staying in your rooms is if one of you gets sick, no exceptions. She hardly ever falls ill, but she’d rather not risk it. That doesn’t stop her from taking care of you, even if the only hot meal she can prepare is upgraded instant noodles or an easy, fool proof soup.

She has a horrible habit of making confining rules for herself, even if she’s on track with certain goals. You have to put hard work into easing her up to let her realize she has a lot more freedom than she thinks she has.

She doesn’t mind dates that you go out for, but she loves cute little dates at home. She doesn’t dislike showing you off, she just appreciates the private intimacy between you two. Even if she isn’t a great cook, she’s happy to help you measure or chop things while you talk.

Speaking of, acts of service is a huge love language of hers. If she can’t do something well, she’ll compensate for with something else that she’s better at to make your life easier.

"Band + Uni Hcs"

Mizu has a habit of not making herself visible on stage. It’s not completely intentional, but her usual spot on stage has harsher lights and this carries over to every single venue. The constant squinting was giving her headaches.

Following up with that, she’s so light-sensitive. It takes a good minute or two for her to adjust from a dark room to bright lights. At some point, she considered getting darker-tinted glasses but keeps putting it on the back burner.

She doesn’t dislike showing you off on stage, but she’d rather not be all the talk at school when it comes to your relationship. This doesn’t mean she lets your relationship go unnoticed though– she makes it very clear she’s taken and doesn’t participate in flirty behavior with any of the audience

Taigen however

The only reason she’s the band's bassist is because nobody else knows how to play. Taigen could play in theory, but he didn’t want to, plus, he thought bass was too easy.

He says that and can’t write a bassline like Mizu. He does write insane guitar solos though, and he can definitely make up something on the spot under pressure. That's actually how a couple of his solos were made.

Ringo is so good at budgeting that it’s genuinely impressive, but he’s not thrilled at how much of that budget cuts out good quality food to keep up with his uni payments. Luckily, Akemi made sure to let him know he was free to experiment with cooking at hers anytime! He's the only one with a spare key to her house. (more on that later)

Akemi knows how to play so many instruments, but none of which are typical band instruments. Her house has a pretty extensive collection of instruments, just no drums or electric string instruments aside from an electric harp. Her father didn’t really monitor her hobbies in her own house, so she played around with whatever piqued her interest first. She had been playing piano and koto since she was young, so she’s automatically the keyboardist (and vocalist,) but she pulls out an odd instrument here and there during a show for fun.

Taigen does have a podcast. The equipment was bought by Akemi with the hopes that he’d have a new hobby, but… sigh.

Ringo is an insanely good drummer, but he couldn't care less about having a music career. He agreed to join because all his friends were in a band– plus, they needed a drummer. Turns out, he’s a natural!

Mizu knows how to play drums too, and she’s great at it, but Ringo unintentionally disses her sometimes on her technique. He’s definitely said something like “Oh, wouldn’t it be easier to…?” She doesn't care much since she knows he means well. That does NOT stop her from continuing to catch accidental strays from him

Taigen and Akemi sort of live together? Akemi’s dad is a little sour about him not returning her home on time. That got his house key privileges revoked for three months. He’s welcome to stay by Akemi’s word, but she doesn’t keep a spare key for him, so he’ll have to be let in by her. Occasionally, he'll ask Ringo to let him in if he happens to be over to cook or practice at a different location, but if Akemis dad catches them, they're both getting an earful. That hasn't happened yet, luckily

Akemi has a couple of songs with a crazy keyboard solo that she has never in her life messed up. She worked through blood sweat and tears to perfect every solo she's written and has her muscle memory down.

Taigen is actually a really good guitarist, but he does make a fair amount of mistakes that he gets dogged on for– most mistakes being dropping his pick. He doesn’t really mess up chords, but a lot of their fans are waiting for that day to come (it'll never happen honestly)

Mizu could and does definitely show off on stage sometimes, but she won’t be pushed into doing a solo for the life of her.

Nobody can touch Mizus instruments except for you and Ringo (he’s a great bass and guitar tech somehow– he just has a lot of specific things he can pick up.)

Mizu, Taigen, and Akemi do separate gigs. Mizu does a little bit of everything– a lot of the bands she plays for are usually gothic rock or metal.

Ringo makes sure Mizu’s basslines can be heard with the drums while Taigen has a running joke of playing too loudly over her basslines during practice. Mizu isn't thrilled, to say the least.

Akemi gets extremely frustrated whenever she has mic problems. Honestly, she wouldn't mind a keyboard problem, but a mic problem is too much

Mizu’s bass wasn’t decorated until you came around– She wants something that reminds her of you on her instrument, so she had you make stickers of your lipstick print to slap on the body of her bass.

By no means are they a large band– they definitely are a local uni band that probably would get popular eventually, but nobody really cared enough about their popularity enough outside of their other hobbies

Speaking of, both Taigen and Mizu do Kendo

Akemi is a top-tier lyricist– she puts her interest in poetry to work ^_^

Taigen has an insanely expensive pedalboard along with a collection of pedals (From Akemis money)

Every day, Akemi considers using a keytar, but the music shops nearby don’t carry good quality keytars and she gets so upset when they aren’t comfortable enough to play.

Taigen has a set practicing schedule on his own, but he often gets held up with classwork. He also has a set sleep schedule but sometimes takes time out of rest to catch up with practice.

Eji tries to come to their shows, but he isn’t much of a fan of the noise level when it comes to live music. He doesn’t understand Mizu’s more alternative gigs, but he’s happy she’s able to get around. He used to lecture Mizu for not wearing earplugs to her shows when she first started performing.

Taigen and Akemi have their own shoegaze duet act together outside of the band– they're getting quite popular from that!

Mizu has written a few songs herself for fun after Akemi texted the group chat about a delay on lyrics due to writers block. She actually finished up recording those songs herself after you found her notes, and urged her to actually make and post those as songs.
