just finished the sea of monster book and i think charlie bushnell is gonna kill it playing the villain!luke. the arguments scene and his duel with percy, i really hope we'll get it on season 2 it'll be epic! and clarisse going on the quest ofc, i can also see dior giving it all there!

Celegorm is one of the few Noldors who doesn't use saddle and lean more to the "old way" in riding a horse, aka, the Sindir/Avarin way, but also because I like to think Orome was the one who taught him to ride and he, as a Vala which means a lot of Elvish things doesn't make sense to him, can´t see the reason for a saddle, especially when the horses sometimes boast their stomach out. I´m a firm believer Valinor horses can get around five hundred sun years, and even if Maedhros gave a lot of them when they came to Beleriand to Fingolfin he kept some. mostly for Maglor and Celegorm. They were also bigger and faster than "normal horses".

Okay I want to be 100 percent transparent and say that I do not and will never hold any malice towards the actors in the show. The only things I’m critical of is the writing and the lighting. The actors are doing amazing, I could not think of a more perfect cast they are putting their hearts and souls into the show. The problem is the script.

You know what I don’t get? This trope:

Elves, for some reason: we can’t trust the sons of feanor! They will surely slaughter us all!

Me, throwing popcorn: you do realize that unless you have a silmaril, you are completely safe, right? Like, you do realize that right?

Why are so many elves acting like they are feral monsters? Did they just forget that the entire reason the sons of feanor kinslayed was bc of the silmarils?

Was this like a propoganda tactic by thingol, or smth, to not inform his people that the silmaril is what the feanorians wanted, so that when the sons of feanor inevitably came knocking no one would think “hey, maybe we should have just let the feanorians have their father’s jewels?”

I’m sorry, I genuinly don’t get why so often other elves seem out right ignorant of the reasons the sons of feanor acted the way they did. You’re think it would be important information to prevent further incidents.

I just hate the ignorance and idiocy that is prevalent in this situation. It’s like none of the other elves ever developed cognitive function and can’t put 2 and 2 together to make 4. They get 57 instead.
