bonjour people,

je me refais the walking dead en ce moment et de cet incroyable meme qu’est devenu l’image ‘don’t open, dead inside’ m’est venu une idée de forum rpg post-apo un peu décalé.

l’idée est inspirée de ces comédies à zombies (zombieland, shaun of the dead, the dead don’t die, daybreak, manuel de survie à l’apocalypse zombies, etc, etc) : un mystérieux (ou pas) virus a décimé une grande partie de la population et les morts se sont relevés et ont faim krkrkr

mais voilà, au lieu d’en faire un mélodrame, sombre et pas drôle du tout, on en ferait une presque parodie, bear with me je n’ai que des bribes d’idées pour l’instant.

j’imagine un forum un peu niche, éphémère, genre une ou deux saisons avec une ou deux intrigues, j’imagine trois clans aux fonctionnements divers, j’imagine des dés pour des rps plus fun, j’imagine un système de points et un tournoi des clans, j’imagine des trucs drôles, des persos hauts en couleurs, j’imagine des persos ‘caméo’ pour ceux qui n’auraient pas le temps de plus d’un sujet ou deux, bref, j’ai bcp d’idées alors je lance l’appât pour voir comment l’idée serait reçue et si éventuellement, elle vaut le coup de bosser dessus :-)

So I saw a meme about how Boomer, Millenial, and Gen Z humor are different and it got me thinking. It seems like “Boomer” memes are the closest to traditional jokes with the visuals acting more as an aid to a pun. As you get to the younger generations though, it consists of images that require knowing the previous context of the original use for it to be funny. And I kinda like that, cause it feels more like an inside joke that you’re in on, or it gives a sense of community, like “hey! I get this and so do other people!” Or maybe it keeps the feeling of being random or surprising while still conveying an intended meaning. Or maybe I just like looking at polar bears peaking out from the ice saying “bonjour”
