my silly rendition of my friend’s dtiys !! c!pumpkinduo were not the best for each other. i can imagine their relationship was, to put it short, very toxic.

wanted to resemble that through this piece :) c!quackity’s wings and eye bleeding to the hands of c!schlatt (which is more of a personal headcanon than canon), and schlatt’s heart being torn out by quackity likewise.

i fell in love with the bittersweet melancholy that the piece turned out to show. 🫶 it’s almost unintentionally a parody off of my own tntduo dtiys, but put into a completely different light. :]

changed the original text a bit! “we’re really not that different now, are we?”, referring to how they almost fed off of each other in their relationship. schlatt’s heart, quackity’s wings. neither of them were very good for each other in the past.

took about 6 hours! i had so much fun adding my own twist to the original dtiys <333

So I know everyone hates c!Schlatt (except the odd apologist which I’ll never understand) but I wish he got revived. Not because I miss the character particularly but because everyone on the server HATES him.

Everyone had a grudge against him Tommy, Tubbo, Quackity, Wilbur, Nikki, Phil, Fundy, Every. Single. Person.

The server is built on delicate alliances for frivolous gain. Every one of those is destined to fall apart and end in betrail for what? They keep choosing sides.

But if Schlatt got revived?

Nothing united stronger than hatred, that’s how humans evolved, to tear down common enemies and then each other. Every single person on the server would be on the same side for the first time. They would put aside their differences and grudges to collectively beat the shit out of a former dictator.

One glorious moment.

The peace lives as long as everyone’s hatred for someone that has wronged them in any number of ways.

Quackity being unable to let go of the idea of marriage. Ever since he was young, he dreamed a about the princes and knights he would always read about. About finding his own one day.

Eret being the first and most literal. Literal royalty that wanted him by their side. But eventually, Eret's engagement ring to him found its way onto a chain that he kept around his neck.

And then there was Schlatt who was as charming and charismatic as any prince he had ever read about. Someone who was meant to rule. Someone who was gone as quickly as he was there, becoming nothing more than another ring on Quackity's chain.

But then came Karl and Sapnap. The bravest, fiercest people he knew when it came to love. The people who picked him up and rescued him like he was every damsel from his stories. They gradually faded away and this time, it took the longest for him.

Matching rings stayed on his trembling fingers even long after he felt rejected from Kinoko, locked out of the Kingdom that was supposed to be their home.

But over time, his hands would steady and his heart would curl in on itself, creating a protective shell around it. And as Quackity added two more rings to the chain around his neck, heavy as a hangman's knot making it hard to breathe, he swore the only rings that would ever again grace his fingers would be his own.

oughhhh im going insane. i don't have schlatt and q brainworms often but when i do they're so violent. not as violent as q eating his heart but still. i'll never be good about this just bc it was fueled by hysteria and the confusion of schlatt's death having been so anticlimactic. q could've finally had his moment of revenge, but he couldn't get himself to do it when schlatt looked so sad and alone and was so out of it and scared and helpless even if he was lashing out q loved him, but he wanted to kill him for everything still. and then schlatt just dropped dead, and q can't even be mad at anyone for taking his vengeance away bc no one killed schlatt instead of him, so the only thing he can do is take revenge on the very heart that failed by eating it. im so ill
