fanart and an attempt to replicate the style of the album cover for wilbur’s newest solo album. :] it’s technically not out yet but i had to listen to the early release on youtube.

i LOVE everything about it; i genuinely noticed the different musical style wilbur used in this album?? with the guitar style you *know* it’s still him, but there’s so much new aspects that he included in it. it’s really come to show how much he’s grown musically and i absolutely adore that.

it’s a gorgeous album. when it comes out for you guys (or unless you want to spoil yourselves early JAHAHAH) i HIGHLY recommend listening to MSR.

First things first, this is @ryemackerel’s dtiys. I guess I can thank him because now my art block has jumped off a cliff AND I finally learnt how to draw wings so that they don’t look really strange

second things second, I apologise for the bad quality, I had to take a picture with my phone instead of downloading it and shit because I can’t figure out how to do it other than send it to my phone from the iPad in iMessage but the iCloud works and my dad will see it.

this leads us nicely onto the third point, is Wilbur feminine enough so I can lie about him being female and show my lgbtqphobic parents? I want to show them but I’m not quite sure. And I might be able to get higher quality as well if ‘she’ is a girl.

whenever i listen to music i always have the tendency to imagine characters playing their respective instruments in songs. this song in particular, no fun by vacations, made me imagine their playing styles UGHHGHHH anyways

i remember coming across an old picture of actual matt (i think it was him anyway) playing guitar and i felt inclined to headcanon character matt can also play guitar :3 i can see him rocking out an electric guitar alongside tom and his bass.

i love to think when they were teens, matt and tom knew each other for AGES and became friends over their love of playing guitar and bass. they tried to make a band, but they really didn’t make it big, and instead just made music in matt’s old home’s basement. edd eventually tagged along since he knew how to sing, and tord knew drums, but they never became an actual band LMAOAO.

nowadays, matt and tom love rocking shit out as a hobby. edd still loves to sing, tord doesn’t play drums much anymore. edd sometimes annoys the other two to play guitar and bass to be his background instrumentals while he sings.

also this piece was my excuse to give matt the love he deserves and make him cooler . i love him

i see ghostbur as a guardian angel for tommy; after wilbur passed, ghostbur was like the part of wilbur’s soul that *wanted* to look after and protect his younger brother. he’s like the part of wilbur’s will that swore to be there for tommy no matter what, even when the actual wilbur was gone, and all that remained was his ghost.

ghostbur did his best to provide comfort for tommy. this was especially during the time after tommy, upon hearing the news of his brother’s demise to the hands of their father, was completely broken. ghostbur knew tommy needed someone to confide in. he tries his best to accompany tommy. that’s what wilbur wished he did for tommy, anyway.
