I try to find that fic for two hours now. It was a Ghost king AU. Can you guys help me find it?

It's about summoning. which the thing that summoned was the weakness of the ghost king.

In chapter 1 some girl ask phantom where is his grave, and he point to the pond say that where his corpse is. (I don't know what the word is called. But it means the corpse left only the skeleton.) After that, people gradually brought items to mourn him. But one day JLD need to summon Ghost king, John say that magic circle summoned weakness of the ghost king. When they summon it's a corpse of kid.

Like he helped Victor create Diego and maybe he also helped Benji fabricate Lucas so when the say the names and v refuse to show him pictures he figures it out but doesn't tell them he knows and just let's it happen.

And then when he meets Connor he can't help but suggest they go the same place that "Lucas and Diego" are supposed to be going and that's how they find out he knows.

Guys, there's somethin' goin' on with Wattpad on my end. I actually use apps off google. I don't download them. How I got Tumblr: I searched up askthedevilswing and I took me to their blog. Then it bombarded me with, "to continue, you must sign in." So, I made an account and here I am. Same with Wattpad. But know, Wattpad is showing this as soon as I open the tab⬇️

My father was martyred by Israel on 10 October 2023 after sacrificing his care in hospital so the injured children could take priority. Today would have been his 60th birthday. He was always selfless, kind, and giving for others. My father gave up everything for me to be able to have a better life, because that is what he always dreamed for me and my sister. The world suffered a great loss when he died, and my heart is always with him and every Palestinian who has lost someone.

In his honour and memory, I would love for anyone who is able to do so to consider donating to The Palestine Children’s Relief Fund.

The PCRF is an amazing organisation that does so much for those in Gaza right now, including helping provide food, water and medicine. You can donate any amount you are able to- there is no minimum! My father would have given his very last cent if he saw the way Palestine was continuing to suffer after over 100 days with this limited aid, so I know celebrating him by helping others is the least he would have wanted.

I saw @parrot-parent do a very successful donation match and I thought it was such a good idea so I will also match all donations up to $500! I was at a Palestinian solidarity gig last night & the one Palestinian artist who was going to perform had COVID so the organisers asked around to see if there were any Palestinians who'd like to say a few words instead.

A local guy who was born & raised in Gaza offered to speak. He started with "I'm an engineer. i'm not a poet or a politician. I don't... do public speaking… I had no idea what to say when I came up here. So i'm just going to tell you about the street I grew up on."

And then he did! He went down the street building by building. He told us about the ice cream shop on the corner, the grocery shop, the charity that supports people with intellectual disabilities. He told us about the people who he knew growing up, the families who still live in the different houses. He told us about the university buildings and about his friends who quit being accountants to start a band together. All on that street.

All of which is gone now, by the way. Bombed to dust.

I have a question for my master thesis, and I wanted to know if some of you could help me!

For the context, the subject is about Young Adult books, and because I'm French, it will be about the French market. Since a few years ago, we saw the apparition of hardcover books. The reason they appear in France while paperback is the norm is purely marketing. But the idea of doing hardcover of course comes from the English-speaking world.

So I'm trying to find some information on why and when it appears on the English-speaking market. Because I found a Waterstones article about the best YA selling books. And what immediately came to my mind was that in the romance category, it's always written paperback in parentheses. For each and every book in this category.

But for the Fantasy & Horror category, most of them are in hardback.

So my questions are :

Why such a difference between the genre? Is it just marketing, like in France ?

Does anyone know when it appears or why? Who, one day, said "I have an idea! Let's publish this book in hardback"? I suppose it was a marketing idea but if you know why it's the norm, I would be interested!

What genres are the most concerned about the hardback release? Is it just fantasy/ya books? Are there other books that have the same treatment?

Oh and do you have another format than hardback or paperback? Because in France, we have sometimes a hardback, paperback is the norm and we have a pocket version of some books that come out a year after. (But not all books, because there are publishing company that are specialized in that, and who needs to negotiate with the original publisher. We don't really have agents in France).
