Miku JapanCrate Tier List!
Tumblr media
I had honestly so much fun doing this stream yesterday, I'll be cutting that segment to post on youtube later, but for now enjoy my findings!! I 100% need to find where to buy Chee-zacks because I NEED giant cheeto bars in my life. Everything else was varying degrees of decent to awesome...EXCEPT Fuck that ice cream......that cursed thing should never harm anyone again. I gagged, do not eat Nericho DIY ice cream, It was like eating sour soda foam ;___; If we hit our 90 Sub Goal by Friday or get any Candy Boxes gifted off Throne I'll put myself through more tasting torture~

CANDY REVIEW
Tumblr media
Corey's mom traveled to Ireland and brought us back some treats to try! We decided to rate each one on a scale from 0-5. This will differ from our restaurant reviews as it will be much less in-depth. We will both provide 1 rating and a sentence or 2 for each candy.
Cadbury Dairy Milk: Marvellous Creations - Jelly Popping Candy
Phoenix: 1/5
This was the weirdest experience. Pop rocks in chocolate was a horrible idea and the chocolate wasn't even good!!
Corey: 1.5/5
What a mistake. Pop rocks shouldn't be in chocolate.
Poppets! Toffee
Phoenix: 2/5
These reminded me of Milk Duds but if you let them go bad and tried them again a year later. They're edible but I'll just stick to Milk Duds.
Corey: 1/5
Milk Duds but nastier, God do I hate it.
Aero
Phoenix: 1/5
Nestles chocolate is just not my cup of tea. Interesting texture, though.
Corey: 2/5
Texture was interesting, but Nestlé tastes better with other stuff in it.
Cadbury Wispa
Phoenix: 2.5/5
I'd absolutely eat this one again!! I know I only rated it in the middle, but it's better than Hershey's.
Corey: 2.5/5
Better than the Nestlé, but still not great.
Cleeve's Sea Salt Caramel Crisp Bar
Phoenix: 0.5/5
Could not even swallow 1 tiny piece... and I enjoy salted caramel and chocolate!!!
Corey: 4/5
Perfect size and had nice flavor in every bite. Can't wait to finish it, it was really good.
Kit-Kat Chunky Peanut Butter
Phoenix: 5/5
Peanut butter and chocolate can never go wrong together. I'm so legitimately mad we don't have this in the States.
Corey: 5/5
Perfect! Didn't think you could make the Kit-Kat even better, but they did. I'm not even a big fan of peanut butter and chocolate but that was SO good...
Cadbury Dairy Milk: Mint Crisp
Phoenix: 3/5
Mint and chocolate are a match made in heaven, this just didn't do it for me. Not a huge fan of Cadbury chocolate, it seems.
Corey: 3/5
Not the worst thing I've had with mint. Adding things to the Cadbury chocolate makes it tolerable.
Mentos: Choco Mint
Phoenix: 0/5
Caramel, chocolate, and mint do NOT belong together. Keep Mentos to fruit and straight mint, for the love of God.
Corey: 0/5
Absolutely revolting. Whoever thought of this should be shot.

Astro Pop Review
Astro Pops were created in 1963 during the Cold War. Two rocket scientists left their jobs at Rocketdyne to start the business. Astro Pops were designed after three stage rockets, with the three flavors being pineapple passion fruit and cherry. The rocket scientists custom built their own machinery to produce the candy.
In 1987 the popular candy company Spangler Candy bought the brand, and continued to expand the variety of flavors until 2004 when they were discontinued.
I'm 2010, long time Astro Pop fan Ellia Kassof bought the rights to the candy and his company Leaf Brands currently produces the candy.
Design- 6/10
The pointed shape and bright colors are incredibly fun, but my issue is with the packaging. The plastic wrapped, since it's used as the mold for the candy, is difficult to peel off. The stick isn't straight and is very short, making it difficult to hold. On the bottom of the candy is a layer of paraffin wax, that you probably shouldn't eat.
Flavor- 6/10
The flavors are supposed to be pineapple passion fruit and cherry, but none of the flavors are distinct even from each other. However is still has a sweet and appealing flavor!

#CharlestonChew #MiniCharlestonChewVanillaCandies #CandyReview
I tried the Mini Charleston Chew Vanilla Candies and these were pretty good.
This candy was crunchy on the outside while having a light chocolate taste and the inside had a light vanilla chew nougat of taffy like texture to it. This does stick to my teeth a little but it's not like eating a caramel sticking to my teeth bad. These were sweet but not overly sweet to me. And reminds me of eating a drumstick ice cream minus the coldness and peanuts for texture.
I wanted to know if these are still good. These were still good but got either crunched or melted. And this is my first time eating these and I would love to try the other flavors if I can find them.
Got at a BP gas station.

Just putting this out there: I don't reccomend the blueberry muffin kitkat if you have a sugar sensitivity as I tried it yesterday and deeply regretted it.😅
Minus the sensitivity, it's a sold 7/10. Good flavor but in the middle of eating it, it felt like I got punched in the face with a huge sack of sugar.

december in movies [14/31]: candy cane lane (2023) dir. reginald hudlin "All right, I get it. I got a lot to learn about Christmas. It's not about what you have on the outside of your house. It's about who you have inside with you. And nothing compares to that."

Annual art review time babyyyy! This was definitely my best year so far in terms of progress, I made good strides in both variety and also consistency. I can already tell next year is gonna be huge for me and I'm really excited to draw even more 💪
