I guess you're reffering to this snippet from Richard's interview with 'The Gauntlet' (i shortened it a bit to focus on the main point here):

The Gauntlet: When will Rammstein give the U.S. a proper tour?Richard: Let me put it this way, we will definitely come. Obviously it is really complicated. Everyone knows about the band and the show in Europe. [...] When we come to America we can't bring everything. We keep going back and forth. The pyro is part of our show and I don't know how far we can go with that. [...] We live in a digital world so people know what we do on stage. It is just so hard to bring all that across the world to America. We decided to go that way with the show and there is no going back. It is our curse, we can't just get up on stage and play the songs, that isn't what Rammstein is about. The Gauntlet: Just package it as the Rammstein acoustic tour. Richard: That is something I want to do, but in a more artistic way, but I can't really talk about it. I really have a great idea and it is something I can really look forward to doing with the guys again in four years. The Gauntlet: Something classical with big string sections?Richard: Mmmmm maybe [laughs].

Richard actually talked about his 'dream' of playing a simple concert like in the old punk days, with no pyro or any kind of elaborate stage shows in several interviews. But Rammstein now has a certain reputation when it comes to their live shows - which Richard sometimes seems to regret to a certain extend, since he apparently thinks all the pyro effects take away the focus from the music. Here are some more quotes from him on the matter:

"When people talk about Rammstein, it's about fire. It's all about the show, nobody talks about the music". [source]

Interviewer: The band's musical and aesthetic framework seems clearly defined. Which also means that you have to be strictly subordinate. How difficult is that for you? Richard: "Very difficult. And it's also getting more and more difficult because you realize that you've become a slave to your own show. You can't just stand on stage in your sports shorts and start playing. On the other hand, of course, I also realize that we have created a trademark with this band and created a unique sound. Nevertheless, it's a fine line, which is why it's important to be able to fulfill other needs elsewhere. I would love to play in an AC/DC cover band again. Just stand on stage, no lights, no show, just rock'n'roll." [source]

Interviewer: Will you ever get bored with all the stunts, all the fire and cannibalism? Richard: 'That is the weird thing. I would love to do an acoustic show with Rammstein. But you can’t just stop what we do. I’d like to get stunts advisors, but the other guys aren’t too open to having someone from outside come up with these things.' (source)

Do you discard the bones after a meal or suck out the marrow? Can you read? Do you talk to the Fairy often? Did you ever fall in love? Did you know that humans have bred and cultivated entires species of animals to produce excess muscle mass specifically for the slaughter and consumption of their overpopulated masses? hello im trying to write a fic with graphic cannibalism. i'd like to ask if you know what would happen if someone eat human meat raw... like is there any diseases or should i just pretend its not there.

also i'm a bit stuck because i'm not writing about romantic cannibalism because the two characters' relationship is really complicated... (like you need the full game lore to understand but tldr human meat is used as treatment) but basically their relationship a really unhealthy doctor patient relationship where the doctor has lost everyone else and out of extreme guilt goes off the deep end trying to cure their last and only patient.

i dunno... maybe you have some thoughts....?

your body is naturally going to have a negative immune reaction to consuming a lot of blood and living tissue, so you may end up vomiting up a perfectly good meal

to my knowledge you shouldnt get an INFECTION, just since the human body isnt, like, actively rotting for a while

but if youre eating it raw and DEAD there's probably not that much of an issue. theres the natural reaction to, yknow, eating raw meat, but your immune response shouldnt be as awful

mmmmm this is not much of a question but you asked for asks and i think of you as the person on my dash who loves to engage with technology as a narrative device and i've just been thinking about "ai" and the silicon valley hype bro culture that's marketing language learning models as this world altering stuff of science fantasy sentient technology when it's not and yeah.

ok whatever i will ask a real question uhhh: what kind of creative outlets do s4g have besides their music? interpretive stuff like just reading and thinking about it and whatnot counts too

YEAH the way "ai" has warped into this thing it's not is actually kind of baffling to me, a lot of the big ai things like ch/atgpt and midjou/rney just takes data and vomits it back out and then cannibalizes itself again...like there's no sentience there.

and for creative outletsss: ry draws a lot, they went to school for graphic design but honestly should've majored in illustration or animation (her parents would only let her go if she went into a "viable" profession...so then she went and made a band lol). vincent also does a lot of art stuff, mostly experimental and experiential stuff i think (at least, compared to the anime girls ry draws). i think they're also interested in film too, like not just watching and reading about it but also producing their own, i think she's def the director for s4g music videos. cass and vincent went to highschool together and were both in the drama club, so i think cass is still in that sort of theater world (on the set/tech crew side). jas is a big reader, they were an english major, so writing poetry outside of s4g stuff is a big outlet. i think frankie dabbles in all sorts of things, but i think they like to be really physically grounded and involved with what they're doing...i think they'd love ceramics

Mini rant (?) below about my stupid red-blue bitches ship.

I know people joke that the tomtord shippers have died out but genuinely, I don't see a lot of people make content (like non fucked decent content) for them anymore. Sometimes I feel like I'm standing alone in a broken city that used to be teeming with life, but it's all gone now and people talk about it like it's taboo. Sometimes I meet other travelers, but they only pass by and I'm all alone again.

It's slightly why I'm cannibalizing myself on Stay AU, I really want to see the dynamic of theirs thats more on 'Bickers like an old couple' Or 'Bitch attracted to Bitch'. We have enough content thats dark and fucked up (And yes I am counting myself with Regimen but that fic was always meant to be angsty and dark), and not a lot of people, that I can see at least, leans towards a cuter dynamic these days :/ Like its so possible for them to still be bitching at each other but still care!! That's exactly the kind of relationship I have with a very close friend of mine, they give me shit, and I bitch at them, but I fucking love that asshole to death (even if its not romantic love).

A healthy romantic relationship won't always be just pure fluff, sometimes we can get irritated at our partner and nibble at them a little bit, but we never hurt them in any way that matters. Thats the kind of dynamic I really really like when it comes to tomtord, but unfortunately all the decent creators that liked it have moved on, or just dont try to make content for it anymore because people accuse them of liking an "abusive" ship which just :////// naurrrrrrrr
