I am very sad we didn't get to see more of the reverse universe in the Paris special.
I wanted to see reverse Gabe interacting with his emo son and being actually nice to Nooroo. I wanted to see what the fuck reverse Nathalie is doing with her life. Emonette's parents?
Reverse world identity reveals because "The Supreme knows who we all are, anyway, this way we can help each other better." Also, Emonette and Emodrien finally getting to bond with their Kwamis.
Reverse world classmates? Is Juleka the sunshine and Rose the emo in the reverse world?
Why didn't we get any direct interactions between Monarch and Good!Gabe? Because Good!Gabe should have gotten to call Monarch a good-for-nothing father and an insult to their wife's memory. I think he should have gotten to hit Monarch over the head with his cane for being a dumb bitch terrorrist who can't even see how great his life is because he's so obsessed with power.

I love the idea that everything (positive) that Lila lies about somehow comes true for Marinette.
Lila lies about having connections to the queen of England? Suddenly, Marinette is getting regular commissions from the queen herself and forms quite the acquaintance-ship w the royal family.
Lila "is practically family" to an Italian mafia? Marinettes grandmother has quite an eccentric background, and through her, Marinette somehow manages to get a local Italian Mafia to pseudo-adopt her. (Only because she refused to actually be adopted, much to their disappointment)
Lila "went on tour" with Jagged Stone? Guess who wants his favorite designer to accompany him for his U.S. tour during the summer?
Oh, Lila says she acted in a movie for Graham de Vanily Films? Guess who ends up accidentally staring in a Graham de Vanily film?
I just want all the positive things that Lila lies about to happen to Marinette, who is sufficiently surprised every time (you'd think she'd be used to it by now), meanwhile, in the background, Lila gets progressively more pissed.
And the worst part? Every time she tries to upstage Marinette with something even bigger and grander than Marrinettes' own accomplishments? No matter how ridiculous, Marinette somehow ends up stumbling upon That. Exact. Opportunity.
It's incredibly frustrating.
You could say Marinette has some miraculous luck, despite how adamantly Tikki denies any involvement in these increasingly ridiculous turns of events.
All in all; Lila is frustrated, Marinette is frustrated, and Tikki is very amused (as are Adrien and Plagg, who watch this shit-show from the background).

What so many of you fail to consider is that for Marinette, being Ladybug is crucial enrichment. If you don't throw an Akuma into her enclosure (the city of Paris) every now and then, she will develop behavioural issues and go insane from boredom. On the other hand, whenever that does happen, giving her an Akuma usually calms her right down. It's like a dog toy, or a laser pointer for a cat.
This is a fairly common thread through most episodes. At the start, Marinette has a problem, often involving Adrien, and she goes completely insane over it, trying to find solutions that are just buck wild. And usually, an Akuma appears, Marinette focuses all her mind on that for a while, and then realises that she went too far and calms down, because now her brain has been sufficiently stimulated and she burned off her excess energy.
Yes, defeating Akumas is stressful for her, no doubt, but I think it's even more clear that not doing that is causing far more stress behaviours to appear in her. She is an excellent guardian and strategizer, great at analysing situations and coming up with plans, and if you don't give her a proper outlet for that, she will come up with her own, often with humorously disastrous results.
So the (admittedly few) posts saying that Marinette shouldn't be Ladybug, or deserves to retire, are getting it all backwards in my opinion. If you retire her, you'll have to give her something else to do. Otherwise, the next time they're in the supermarket, she will build a weird contraption out of a shopping cart, canned beans and a quizz magazine to parkour to the top shelf, instead of asking Adrien for help.
So be a bit more careful with how you treat Marinette. If you force her to sit still, she will not thank you.

Do you know this (noncanon) ADHD character?
Tumblr media
Evidence below the cut! (As in, an entire DSM-V diagnosis xD)
Submitter provided the following diagnosis:
HC, there is a beautiful analysis by @rena-rain as well as many posts all over the internet; over all it is a common headcanon in the fandom. out of the dmsv traits she displays:
a. Often fails to give close attention to details or makes careless mistakes in schoolwork, at work, or during other activities (e.g., overlooks or misses details, work is inaccurate).
b. Often has difficulty sustaining attention in tasks or play activities (e.g., has difficulty remaining focused during lectures, conversations, or lengthy reading).
c. Often does not seem to listen when spoken to directly (e.g., mind seems elsewhere, even in the absence of any obvious distraction).
d. Often does not follow through on instructions and fails to finish schoolwork, chores, or duties in the workplace (e.g., starts tasks but quickly loses focus and is easily sidetracked).
e. Often has difficulty organizing tasks and activities (e.g., difficulty managing sequential tasks; difficulty keeping materials and belongings in order; messy, disorganized work; has poor time management; fails to meet deadlines).
f. Often avoids, dislikes, or is reluctant to engage in tasks that require sustained mental effort (e.g., schoolwork or homework; for older adolescents and adults, preparing reports, completing forms, reviewing lengthy papers).
g. Often loses things necessary for tasks or activities (e.g., school materials, pencils, books, tools, wallets, keys, papenwork, eyeglasses, mobile telephones).
h. Is often easily distracted by extraneous stimuli (for older adolescents and adults, may include unrelated thoughts).
i. Is often forgetful in daily activities (e.g., doing chores, running errands; for older adolescents and adults, returning calls, paying bills, keeping appointments).
a. Often fidgets with or taps hands or feet or squirms in seat.
b. Often leaves seat in situations when remaining seated is expected (e.g., leaves his or her place in the classroom, in the office or other workplace, or in other situations that require remaining in place).
c. Often runs about or climbs in situations where it is inappropriate. (Note: In adolescents or adults, may be limited to feeling restless.)
d. Often unable to play or engage in leisure activities quietly.
e. Is often “on the go,” acting as if “driven by a motor” (e.g., is unable to be or uncomfortable being still for extended time, as in restaurants, meetings; may be experienced by others as being restless or difficult to keep up with).
f. Often talks excessively.
g. Often blurts out an answer before a question has been completed (e.g., completes people’s sentences; cannot wait for turn in conversation).
h. Often has difficulty waiting his or her turn (e.g., while waiting in line).
i. Often interrupts or intrudes on others (e.g., butts into conversations, games, or activities; may start using other people’s things without asking or receiving permission; for adolescents and adults, may intrude into or take over what others are doing).
Several inattentive or hyperactive-impulsive symptoms are present in two or more settings (e.g., at home, school, or work; with friends or relatives; in other activities).
D. There is clear evidence that the symptoms interfere with, or reduce the quality of, social, academic, or occupational functioning.
only feature not shown is evidence of it happening before 12 YO since the show starts when she's 13 i think?
in addition she also presents a classic case of limerance towards adrien prior to actually falling in love with him, and on-screen hiperfocus episodes, as well as a hiiiigh possibility of comorbid GAD (analysis also by gentil-minou) and a few signs that could point towards comorbid ASD

You’re telling THIS is the finale?
look, I was obsessed with miraculous when it first came out. If I knew this is the end of the show, I would’ve dropped it immediately. No satisfaction, no conclusion.
And sure, it was renewed for THREE more seasons. Season 5 was the intended finale for years. Just close the secret identity chapter and move on.

A's front office should be shot in the sun for touring the River Cats stadium, but as a chaos enjoyer, it's very very very VERY healing to think of Aaron Judge and the Yankees having to play on a AAA field in Sacramento

MLB - Season 3 - Episode 21
Puppeteer 2
Always trust kids to spill the beans. And Marinette to die about it.
Oh, poor Manon.
Nino is a horrible liar.
Marinette, you need to get your shit together.
Look at that grin, that's a kid who knows what she's doing. She knows where this is going and she wants to fuck shit up without consequences and get attention at the same time.
Gabe, how about you give at least a fraction of you attention to your fucking son.
Plagg's love/friendship advice basically boils down to:
Tumblr media
The day these two can talk to each other like normal humans is the day the world ends, I swear.
"As I am a human being..." Well, that aged well (again, though I haven't seen anything past season 3, I have been spoiled the big stuff. I actually prefer spoilers, because I like to know what the fuck I'm getting myself into - in this case, a garbage fire on shrooms).
Both Marinette and Adrien when they see the Hawkmoth statue... "how do I manage this situation without revealing my secret identity"?
Look at the two dumbasses.
We should have known Adrien was something not entirely human with how perfectly still her can be.

Was thinking ab adrien choosing his own wardrobe next season and then the spirit of astruc possessed me and I blacked out and when I awoke before me was the messiest unfunniest most indecipherable sketch I’ve ever done in my life but I was told if I didn’t share it Gabriel taking inspiration from William Afton wouldn’t be confirmed canon in season 87 so here it is
