Miraculous fanart: Adrienette Chameleonette?

Do you remember my Adrienette fanart ? I introduce you an Impostor version:

Marinette and "Adrien" date together. But Marinette has the feeling something goes wrong with "Adrien". The "boy" wears the Nino's cap. This detail makes Marinette remember the incident from Chameleon (3.01).

In reality, Lila/Cerise has been akumatized into Chameleon again (auto-akumatization(?)). She is so happy to be dated by Marinette.

Okay so I think it's time for another spaghetti theory:

Lilamoth isn't collecting moms. She's collecting sisters (or siblings)

Let me explain my thought process here. So a big complaint the fandom has is that we don't have a proper rogue gallery for villains. It's just the butterfly, and nothing else. It worked for early seasons, but things might be getting stale for some folks.

Enter new characters connected to Lilamoth somehow.

So she has 3 moms so far (that we know about.) All but one have something in common: dark hair and blue eyes.

From left to right we have Mrs. Rossi (red), Mrs. Bianca (white), and her third mother who is deaf could possibly be Mrs. Verdi (green).

Then we have this fourth lady that we see Lilamoth watching on her phone in the season 5 finale. I would NOT be surprised if Odille is going to be her 4th mom. Dark hair and blue eyes, and she is also disabled, just like her third mom.

(And I would not be surprised if we find out her surname is Nero (black), or Viola (violet). More on that aspect of this crack theory in a bit...)

Anyway, back to the concept of a rogues gallery. In the finale we see Lila in a disguise that 's VERY reminiscent of one of her moms:

Certainly she can't expect to disguise herself as a woman in her 30's-40's, and especially not with glasses and bangs. But she can pass reasonably as a teenage girl with a dark bob and glasses. You know, a sister.

So we know a certain main character whose name is in the title and wears red with black polkadots has dark hair and blue eyes. We don't know Lilamoth's motivations and and end goal, but we can surmise that she wants to take the place of Marinette.

(And I KNOW I've seen at least one other person theorize this, and I cannot find the post(s) so if you can find it please let me know so I can link it here!)

The pictures we see is one of Marinette with her classmates on the Liberty where Zoe is accepted in the friend group, Marinette with her parents, 3 pictures of Marinette with Kagami, and one picture of Marinette with Luka.

It's interesting to note that there isn't a picture of Marinette and Adrien together shown to the audience. You'd think they'd emphasize that, but no, it's mostly Kagami. I know it's because it's because the episode focuses on Kagami, but still. Other than her, it's just Marinette's parents, Zoe and Luka (Luka! Marinette's ex!) showcased in the closeup screenshot.

I got sidetracked! Anyway, I think other than similar coloring (and color-themed surnames haha) Lilamoth is trying to find other teenagers who are willing to join forces with her. She probably will get her hands on some Miraculous for them, somehow. But I don't think the new jewels will be from the Chinese box.

Here's where things start REALLY going off the rails with this theory:

All of Lilamoth's rogue gallery of villains are her adopted sisters (or siblings) and they are all Luka's exes. He's got a type for Italians with dark hair and blue eyes...

Going back to the surnames, all the surnames have something in common: they share the colors of all of Adrien's various transformations over the course of the series so far:

Rossi: Mister Bug

Bianca: Chat Blanc

Verdi: Aspik

We're just missing Chat Noir (could possibly will be the surname Nero, as it's Italian)

and Ephemeral (it's interesting to note that the surname Lee in Chinese can mean plum, which of course, is purple)

So naturally, my crack theory circles back to Lukadrien is endgame.

I will NOT be surprised if this girl with black hair in an extremely recognizable style is a disguise of another sister.

Is Lilamoth collecting blackmail to manipulate them later? She's very obviously walking disguised in areas where there would be lots of cameras (The inside of the Agreste mansion, and the hotel).

I was just thinking that given that Lila/Cerise is going to be a/the main antagonist in the future, it's a good thing that the Miraculous team now seem to have Félix on their side (and in their friend group too I suppose) as he might be the only one who will be able to see through her future's alias lies.

I mean, sure Marinette saw through her the first time, but not only was her jealousy over Adrien a major factor, she also knew for a fact that Lila didn't know Ladybug.

Similarly, Adrien, being Chat Noir, could find it suspect that Ladybug would be friend with a civilan, let alone one who talked about it so freely. What's more, while he might be a bit naive at times, his fame has him used to liars up to a point.

The rest of their friends though all seem pretty willing to trust her. I guess the only odd-one-out is Luka who I believe never interacted with her.

If she goes with more subtle lies, the way I seem to remember she did with Kagami, not lies about extraordinary achievements or famous acquaintances, but lies or implicit suggestions about interpersonal relationships, I'm not sure any if the Miraculous holders will see through it.

Félix might be the only exception in my eyes. While he seems to be somewhat sheltered, like Adrien and Kagami, and thus not the best when it comes to social cues and conventions, he is the most wary, the one most used to fend for himself. He is naturally suspicious where Adrien would give people the benefit of the doubt. I'm not sure if his Miraculous might give him an additional advantage (make him some kind of empath), but that's also something to keep in mind. His own acting skill might be, to our knowledge, limited to imitating his cousin, but his skills as a magician might help him catch Lila/Cerise red-handed at some point. And he has shown an ability to come up with ambitious plans and to achieve his goals through a variety of means that only Lila/Cerise can rival with so far.

The rest of them are just too "innocent".

Though Luka could also be a candidate, due to his "empath" music skills.

For both of them though, there is the question of how much interaction they might actually have with Lila/Cerise as they have been rather secondary characters so far. And the show seems to stubbornly only focus on Marinette/Ladybug, and Adrien/Chat Noir to a lesser extent. The start of a new villain arc would be a great time to change the dynamic, but I'm not very optimistic regarding the probability of this actually happening (this is a kids' show with a vested (economic) interest to keep focusing on the friendly heroine and her cool & gentlemanly sidekick, rather than the deeper, somewhat ambivalent secondary characters).

In the end I wouldn't be surprised if they have Marinette being the one to see through her because of Lila/Cerise's animosity towards her and Ladybug. Possibly with Adrien/Chat Noir being taken advantage of, with the true circumstances of his father's death being kept from him by Ladybug, and Lila/Cerise telling him the truth or something close to it, plus not having "been there to save his father" and him still being just "one of the (Miraculous) team" getting to him.

If they are going to stick to Marinette and Adrien instead of giving a bigger role to secondary characters, let's hope they at least make it somewhat interesting by having Marinette completely falling for the "new girl's" friendly attitude and Adrien being the suspicious one.

But yeah, fingers crossed for more Félix screen time (he's definitely the most interesting character so far, toeing the line between "good and bad") and him being key to "defeating" Lila/Cerise. And in general to more "mature" storylines than what we've had so far. And/or more realistic ones.

Nightmares

Trigger Warning: Slight hints of child abuse.

Lila wakes up in a dark room. She hears a very faint voice.

“Monster!”

Lila finds herself in her old bedroom. She turns around, and sees her father sitting in an old fashioned rocking chair with a bottle of beer in his hand. He looks into Lila’s eyes with a sad look in his eyes.

Cerise’s father: “It wasn’t a fair trade! Your life for your mother’s! I should have killed you the second that you were born!”

Lila’s a little girl again. She has long brown hair. She has on a purple princess dress. She’s holding her report card in front of her father.

Little Cerise: “Daddy I got all A’s on my report card!”

Cerise’s father: “I DON’T CARE, YOU WORTHLESS WASTE OF SPACE!!!!!”

Lila’s father throws an empty beer bottle at child Lila who is now Cerise who has a cut on the left side of her face.

Cerise: “I don’t need him.”

Cerise is standing in front of a burned down house.

Cerise: “I’ll make my own path in life.”

Cerise is now Lila, and she’s talking to Gabriel.

Gabriel: “You just remain what you are. Nothing.”

Tears start running down Lila’s face.

Lila: “I’m not NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

Ladybug: “She’s more like a super liar!”

Lila: “But you don’t even know me!”

Lila’s confused.

Lila: “I only tell people what they want to hear. Is that really so wrong?”

“Monster! Monster! Monster! Monster! Monster! Worthless! Nothing! Monster! Monster! Monster! Monster! Monster! Nothing! Worthless! Monster!”

Lila puts her fingers in her ears to try and mute the voices.

Abandoned warehouse

Cerise is sleeping in a queen-sized bed. She’s wearing purple button down pajamas. She’s twisting and turning in her sleep. She’s clearly having a nightmare.

Nooroo is watching her with a look of worry on his face, not knowing how to help his Mistress.

Nooroo flies over to her, and shouts her name over, and over again as loud as he can. Finally Cerise starts to wake up.

Cerise(barely awake): “I’m not worthless, and I’m not a monster!”

Nooroo: “Mistress are you ok?”

Cerise(annoyed look on face): “Nooroo what time is it?”

Nooroo looks at the bedside clock, and sees that it’s 3:38 AM.

Nooroo: “I’m sorry for waking you up.”

Nooroo starts to fly away from Cerise.

Cerise(gentle smile on her face): “Nooroo please stay with me. I don’t want to be alone tonight.”

Cerise adjusts her bed blankets so there’s more room. Nooroo flies down to the bed, and lays down next to Cerise who has already fallen back to sleep. Before long Nooroo falls asleep too.

Truthfully, Cerise can’t quite blame the people for being afraid of him. It’s not their fault.

They just haven’t seen true terror yet.

She dances a finger over the brooch in her hand. It would look so good pinned to her chest — and who is she to resist?

“Nooroo,” she says, letting her lips curl up into a smile. “Dark wings rise.”

Miraculous Season 6 Theories Masterpost

This post exists to post any possibilities or theories for Season 6. Future theories will be added later on.

· There is a slight time jump between the beginning of the new school/end of summer during the S5 season finale, and S6 season premiere/beginning. This would explain why the characters are getting redesigns.

· Marinette never told either Alya or Chat Noir that Gabriel was Hawkmoth. This would explain why Ladybug told the public he died as a hero. She would likely like to keep peddling that truth further.

· Ladybug will confront Bunnyx about how much she knows about the Wish, or about how much the Wish affected the timeline.

· Chloe joins Iris again when she returns to Paris.

· Kagami is a Sentimonster.

· Kagami and Adrien were literally made for each other. They were created to be together.

· The Sentimonsters take after their maternal figures.

· Iris returns to the New School, because she might've been searching for a way to get to the Chinese Zodiac miraculouses. Instead of just moving on to a new school.

· Iris is in the foster scare system, and the three women she had were her adoptive mothers who didn't know about each other.

· Iris collected all of Gabriel's information out of revenge for abandoning, and underestimating her.

· Iris wants the role of Ladybug. She wants to be a pseudo guardian, that gives out and uses miraculouses for evil. This would explain why the miraculous team is so big now, because they need more allies.

· Iris/Cerise uses the "Gabriel is Hawkmoth" info to blackmail the Agreste/Graham de Vanily family.

· Iris/Cerise is a more chaotic villain than Hawkmoth was. She will use her powers in and out of costume to manipulate others to help her.

· Iris is underestimated by both Gabriel, and Marinette. Iris in both Chameleon, and Confrontation details that a war is going to happen.

· One of the new miraculous holders will betray Ladybug, and the team, to join or help Iris.

· Felix, or Nathalie tells Adrien everything.

· Adrien finds out about his dad before the public does.

· The fire that burnt Gabriel's personal items in Revelations will be addressed.

· Tomoe used to be an actress that rivaled Emilie. Gabriel tried to sabotage her career. Tomoe mentions in Perfection that Gabriel tried to make her dreams disappear.

Miraculous fanart: Chloenette Date + Miraculous rewriting: Chloenette AU (Prologue)

This is a Chloenette image and it exists in two versions (left: Normal version; right: lipstickprint/post-kiss version).

I think about an AU that diverges from the canon (Miraculous but Chloé is one of Marinette's love interests (alongside with Adrien and Luka and Zoé)).

Season 1 rewrite

Season 2 rewrite

The Story and its changes:

Prologue/Before the Season 1:

Marinette and Chloé are childhood friends.

Chloé is still a bully. She keeps her rude tone (Chloé being Chloé) towards the Miraclass but with a moderate level (drastically less bully than her canon counterpart during the pre-Queen Bee period (Season 1-2) and the Derision flashback).

Chloé commits some bad actions against random teens for fun (roasting language, pranks, school expellement threats) but she makes these at the low level, She is a "semi-bully".

Identically to canon, Sabine is still worried about Marinette and sees Chloé as a bad influence on her daughter. She calls Soqueline for care/protect Marinette.

Effectively, Soqueline knows Chloé is a problematic case at the Françoise Dupont school.

Soqueline wants to get Marinette away from Chloé for bring the former to the good path (even if Marinette is globally preserved from the Chloé's bullying if it was a little bit of).

Marinette has issues with her mother when Chloé is the subject of the conversation. Meanwhile, Sabine respects Marinette's choices.

Chloé is attracted by both Marinette and Adrien (Sorry, Sabrina ! 🤷‍♂️).

Following the next years (prior to the Season 1), Chloé develops a crush to Marinette and she gradually expresses that with her own manner. But Marinette misunderstands her. She just believes the "bully" is joking.

Marinette already knows Adrien but only from Chloé's words.

Adrien hears about Marinette but she never met before (because of the education his father imposes to him)

Chloé sees Sabrina as her associate (not yet equal friend but not sidekick).

Marinette is aware Chloé has a questionable behavior but she continues to hang out with her. She is hoping the blondie can be improved into a good girl.

At the classroom, Marinette seats with Chloé. But she switches places with Sabrina, her second friend (a more normal girl than Chloé in the beginning). That depends of Chloé's decisions.

In the beginning, Marinette's and Sabrina's relationship is a normal/classical friendship (not besties but equal).

In this universe, Marinette has no reasons to run away from Chloé because they are already "friends". So, she doesn't need any protection and she hasn't any interest to Kim. She just considers him as an ordinary trustful friend.

In this AU, the events of Marinette's flashback from Derision (5.14) never happened too (no trauma).

But Marinette will eventually suffer a love incident: It will happen at the Grand Hôtel when she finally accepts Chloé's feelings. The date will be supposed to be an experimentation for Marinette. It would be perfect for the two girls until someone comes to mess it all.

The person who will ruin the Chloenette will be not Sabrina, neither Kim (who dates with Ondine), neither Audrey (Chloé's mom who is still at New York in this moment) or neither Adrien (who is mourning his mother's "death"). It will be Socqueline.

Socqueline will have decided to secretly follow Marinette in mission of protecting her after she will have seen her to enter to the Grand Hotel (Chloé's home). Worried, she will come to thé Chloé's bedroom and she will surprise the two girls kissing each other on the bed (interupting them).

That will be enough for Marinette. Ashamed by the situation, Marinette will become mad, upset and angry towards Socqueline because of her overprotective behavior. It would have enough. And a infuriated Chloé will yell both Marinette and Socqueline to go out of here.

Marinette will eventually end up her friendship with Socqueline next to the incident. The latter will be sad and remorseful after the incident.

The last day of school, Chloé will announce to Marinette she breaks up considering the idea of romance between them as a ridiculous "mistake". By circumstance, the incident has affected the two girls. 💔

Marinette becomes the protagonist we know as in Canon.

Chloé remains the classical bully from the show. Despite she is still attracted on Marinette, she represses her feelings by turning her interest to Adrien.

End of the Prologue.

Bonus: Extended (sorry for the design of teenage people but it was fast)

From left to right:

Socqueline silently objects the cursed odd ship. She is resigned to respect Marinette's feelings.

Sabrina is heartbroken. She just wanted to confess her love to Chloé since the previous years but Chloé always didn't have cared about.

Zoé feels like troubled and sad about seeing her love interest and her half-sister dating each other. She is supposed to confess to Marinette.

Adrien feels like ignored while he sees his love pretendants making their date. In this AU, he can be used to be single. Plagg is hidden behind his holder's back.

Alya is confused. Her best friend dates her "bully".

Lila Cerise discretly watches the scene from afar with a sadistical gratification. She is planning to ruin the Chloenette couple for enact revenge for her exposure as "Lila Rossi". What girl do Cerise could destroy her life first (Marinette or Chloé) ? Or what girl do Cerise could seduce first ? (attempted Cerisette plan) 😈

My Sexuality/gender headcanons of the Miraculous cast:

Marinette: bi with a preference towards girls. Cis.

Adrien: gay, and either super comphet or amok ordered to be cishet, uses he/him pronouns and usually identifies as male, but there's still quite a bit of gender fuckery going on. Is intersex.

Alya: bi with a preference for boys. Cis.

Nino: Cishet but the world's best ally.

Chloe: Seriously in denial lesbian. Cis.

Luka: bi with a preference for girls. Cis.

Kagami: Lesbian with some serious comphet due to her upbringing. Cis.

Juleka: Lesbian. Cis.

Rose: pan instead of bi because she thinks the flag is prettier. No gender preference. Cis.

Alix: on the demi or gray side of the aroace spectrum. Sapphic. Probably meets a nice girl in the distant future and they have an exclusive and dedicated queer platonic relationship, and eventually decide to get married because of taxes lmao. Cis.

Mylene: Cishet, and an extremely dedicated ally.

Ivan: Cishet, but also an extremely dedicated ally. He has baggage, and thinks that people should be able to be happy and love who they want.

Max: Very very ace. Cis.

Kim: Cisheteroflexible, but totally has a platonic bromance with Max. Him, Max, and Undine probably in the future as adults decide to be a polycule, with Kim being the hinge.

Zoe: Pan, but only because she (incorrectly) believes that bisexuality is a restrictive label that excludes trans people. This greatly annoys several people in the cast. Has a preference for girls. Cis.

Marc: Surprisingly bi, with a preference for boys. Is a trans male.

Nathaniel: Technically gay, but calls himself bi just to annoy Zoe, as he's dating Marc who is trans. Is cis. (Edit: him being actually gay is very much a parallel for Adrien’s comphet crush/relationship with Maribug)

Sabrina: considers herself pan because she latched onto Zoe after Chloe was forced to go to New York, and believed her incorrect beliefs about being bi, and she has a crush on Marc. Sabrina's most likely just heteroflexible. Cis.

Felix: Completely cishet. Surprisingly no amok orders or comphet to be cishet. Considers himself an ally, but he's not a very good one.
