The belated realization flooded in. The regressor weary of the scenarios could only carry on because the scenarios existed. Yoo Joonghyuk then began gathering all of his remaining Stories. All these Stories belonging to a man who had finally escaped from the curse of regression bared their collective fangs at Han Sooyoung. "Hit me with everything you've got, Han Sooyoung." ⸢This was Yoo Joonghyuk's last stand.⸥ Every cell in her body was ringing alarm bells. The regressor who had repeated lengthy lifetimes. A certain emotion floated upon those eyes that had been described dozens, hundreds of times before. Han Sooyoung knew very well what that emotion was. Yoo Joonghyuk wished to die in this place. Not by the hands of anyone, but by the existence who had written his very first sentence.

Oh, Joonghyuk. 😭

Oh man, he really doesn't know what to do with himself now that he's reached the end of the scenarios, does he? Or, rather, now that he's reached the end of the scenarios without Dokja and without any hope of getting him back.

Because he was basically created with one purpose in mind - to save Kim Dokja - and even when he became a "real" person, his main goal continued to be reaching the end of the scenarios (with Dokja) and he's failed, and Sooyoung has failed too, and while Sooyoung is just barely managing to hold it together along with the rest of Dokja's group and at least attempting to move on, Joonghyuk was literally created to go through TWSA for a single reader and now he has neither TWSA nor the reader.

That "33, Unemployed" from the prior chapter is hitting pretty hard right about now.

And that's not even getting into the fact that he has severe, repeated trauma built up over thousands of years, as well as the fact that he's always had the option of giving it one more try. As much as he's hated it, has hated the fact that he couldn't really die, it's probably pretty jarring to realize that your reset button has been stolen from you when you've gotten so used to having it as a final resort.

Ughhhh, and Sooyoung noticing his unkempt appearance and remembering how he just disappeared on Mia and his gaming job, not to mention the fact that she was literally able to kick his sword out of his hand. Oh man and she started the fight so mad and basically said she hated him and regretted creating him before realizing that maybe she should have asked him how he's been doing instead...

Or at least been checking up on him since it sounds like Joonghyuk sort of ran off and nobody except Mia really noticed.

My guy has not been living happily ever after, even moreso than everyone else. 😔

i cant remember if i said this or not but i was saying how i dont think the reveal about iruma being a human was being teased cuz the progress for it was all very natural but now that the fucking reveal was cockblocked TWICE by a fucking phone call im willing to retract my statement

As the night began to grow colder, Bucky checked the time. He sighed as he realized he should probably be getting you back home. Standing up, you thanked Bucky for giving you his hand for support. Bucky bent down to pick up his jacket from the grass, instantly putting it around your shoulders. Slipping your arms into it, you smiled gratefully at him. 

The ride back to your house was calm, you felt lighter now. The engine hum was a comfortable sound, you grew tired as the cool air wrapped around the two of you, and the bike vibrations rocked you. Your mind finally felt at peace. 

When you reached your house, Bucky cut the engine at the usual corner. He recognized the fatigue taking over your body. “Are you going to be okay to climb?” You nodded, a smile tugged at your lips at his concern.

Before you could make a move towards the tree that was used to climb up, Bucky reached out a hand to help you. You whispered a small thank you to him as you began to climb. Slowly, you both made your way up, Bucky right behind you every step of the way.

Your room was covered in darkness, the only light coming from the moonlight. You retreated under the covers, not even bothering to get ready for bed. Snuggling into your pillow, you already began to drift into sleep. Bucky’s jacket was still wrapped around your body. Bucky stayed stood by the window, watching as you found comfort. A content smile on his face, you were okay and you were safe. That’s all he needed to know. 

“I don’t leave,” you barely whispered to him as you sensed him preparing to leave. “Stay with me.” 

His movements froze, hands gripped to the edges of the window frame. He turned back to you and made his way to the side of your bed. Kneeling to your level, his fingers brushed through your hair.

“I know you’re sleepy, Sunshine,” he whispered back to you, his voice was low and soothing. “I’d love nothing more than to stay, but it’s risky.” 

Disappointment took over your face, eyebrows knitted together and your lip trembled slightly. “Please,” you pleaded, a desperate whisper as your eyes opened to look at him. 

His gaze softened, his heart aching at the sight of you at your most vulnerable. He knew the risk of staying, knowing that the more time you spent together the more risk of anyone finding out would be. Yet, as he looked into your eyes, he found himself unable to resist.

He nodded, crumbling to your wishes. He rose to his feet, taking his shoes off and closing the window. Gently, he closed the distance between you two, “Okay Sunshine,” he whispered as he lay on top of the bed covers.”I’ll stay.”

Sighing in relief, you gazed at him while bringing your hand out to intertwine your fingers with his. Bucky made himself comfortable beside you, bringing his arm around to pull you closer. 

You nestle your head into his chest, and the beat of his heart becomes the soundscape you didn’t know you needed, gently guiding you to sleep. Before long, Bucky’s eyelids grew heavy and he joined you to sleep.

~Y/N POV:~

Finally, after 13 long hours i'm finally in Japan to start my new life! it feels so good to finally get to start a new life away from my family and old friends or more like classmates since i can't think of any of them as friends anymore.

As i step out of the airport i sit down on a bench outside and call for a taxi to come and get me. as i wait for my taxi, i scroll through old pictures of me and my classmates, "..why can't i just be happy like i was back then..?" i mumble to myself.

after about 20 minutes the taxi comes and i go inside it.

"To (college name) please" i say in Japanese to the taxi driver and he starts driving.

while on the way i admirer the city of Yokohama.

"are you a foreigner?" the taxi driver asks me "ah, yes i am" i answer him "this is actually my first time traveling outside of Europa" i say.

"are you European?" the taxi driver asks me "yeah, i'm from Finland"(or whatever country your from) i answer him, and the driver only nods and keeps driving me.

When we get to the college i thank him and pay "bye have a good day!" the driver says before driving of.

"..i'm all on my own now.." i mumble to myself again as i start walking inside the building. while i walk to the principles office i see some people whispering to each other and i'm guessing they are talking about how i look so different from them, it wouldn't be the first time.

while in my thoughts i accidentally bump into someone "oh sorry.." i say, and hear the person huff "whatever" they say and walk way. 'what the fuck did i do' i think to myself. i watch as the ginger haired boy walks over to some other boy with brunet hair thats much taller then him 'that must be his friend or something' i think to myself again.

when i get to the principles office i knock on the door and wait.

"come in!" i hear a woman say from the inside.

"You must be Y/N! am i right?" she asks in a happy voice "uh.. yeah i am" i say back "you must be nervous" she says to me in a calm voice while i keep quiet "theres no need to worry, you'll fit in just fine" she says. 'yeah right, there were just some students back talking me, and i made someone mad, i'm defiantly gonna fit in' i think to myself "..okay.." i say

After she tells me about all of my classes she gives me the keys to my dorm "just know you're gonna have two room mates!" she says as i leave the room.

'Room number 567? that means its on the 5th floor..' i think to myself and start walking to the elevator.

theres a note on the elevator door that says 'out of order' 'great, just my lucky day' i think and start walking up the stairs.

once at the top i start panting a lot "jeez.. that was harder then i thought.." i say to myself.

"543.. 544.. 545.." i look at all of the doors trying to find my own. "here it is!" i say while i start to unlock the door.

"DAZAI WHERE THE FUCK IS MY HAIR BRUSH!?!?" is the first thing i hear when i open the door 'oh lord' "calm down dear, its just a hair brush" says the same brunet from earlier while getting choked by the ginger 'what did i just walk in on' "this is kinda kinky not gonna lie-" the brunet says before the ginger lets go of him. "perv.." mumbles the ginger before he sees me.

"who the fuck are you?" he asks and i freeze "oh! i think thats our new room mate chuuya!" the brunet says excitedly "oh yeah, we were getting a new room mate, thats why we had to clean the guest room" the ginger says in a bit calmer voice now.

i study the boys features carefully.. they are quite pretty both of them, the brunet boy has bandages covering his arm, legs and neck, weird.. the ginger boy has some cute freckles covering his face and one blue and one brown eye. 

"you just gonna stand there like an idiot or introduce yourself to us?" the ginger asks in an annoyed tone. 

"a-ah! i-i'm Y/N..!" 'FUCK WHY DID I HAVE TO START STUTTERING RIGHT NOW!?' i think while dying inside.

"i'm guessing you aren't from Japan, right?" the brunet asks.

"..yeah.. i'm Finnish.." i say.

"i can tell" the ginger says.

'what the fuck is that supposed to mean!?' 

"chuuya, i'm pretty sure thats offensive to say" the brunet says. "HUH!?" the ginger seems shocked. 

"by the way i'm Dazai Osamu" the brunet says " and this here is my boyfriend, Chuuya Nakahara!" he say happily. 

"you shouldn't say that we are boyfriends to them! what if they are homophobic, dumbass!?" Chuuya say in a more irritated voice.

"..its fine.. i'm also a part of the community.." i say an they just look at me. i start to feel pretty weird and think that they are jugging me. i feel like i want to cry but i hold it in as to not make a fool out of myself.

"follow me and i'll show you your room!" Dazai says happily and grabs my hand. i flinch a bit at the contact but don't do anything to not seem like a bother.

"heres your new room!" he says and pushes me into the room closing the door 'finally he left me alone,..' i think while looking around the room, its quite big, probably bigger then my old room back.. home.. i feel sad thinking about my "home".. it never really felt like a home or a safe place for me.. all i can remember are bad times from when my parents yelled at me and said they were gonna hit me.

i wipe a tear that was running down my cheek and start unpacking my stuff.

"..this is gonna be a long night.." i sigh.

Chapter 545: Irreplaceable Friends

In the year X793, Lucy wins an award for her new book while all the guilds in the country of Fiore move on with their lives. Hisui pardons Crime Sorcière of their crimes, allowing them to live on to the future.

Gajeel points out that since Lucy and Anna have the same smell, it means he likes Anna. In which Natsu does not deny. It's cute how the Heartfilia Clan has this history with him. He even got the heiress, as his.

Lucy wakes up thinking everything was just a dream. Then sees Natsu and Happy in his house comfortably waiting for her to wake up. She remembers what she did while drunk. We should've seen more of it! Don't fret Lucy, you are Natsu's future bride.

And as Natsu invites her for a job, Lucy is bombarded with memories of them together. Let's dissect this:

1. The Duke of Everloo episode, wherein Natsu tells Lucy that she must burn the book since this is their job. First job and first partnership together!

2. Galuna Island Arc

3. When Natsu saves Lucy from falling, Phantom Lord Arc

I never thought that this would happen. Many people were supporting me along the way. I shared with my first blog that I was doing this to heal my inner child who has always been a Fairy Tail fan since 2011. It's been part of my growth and will always be part of my heart.

I'm happy I was able to finish the whole series and finish my NaLu blog! I'm still thinking if I shall proceed with the 100 year quest (it's still ongoing thus I'm hesitating). We'll know when we cross that bridge.
