An intressting MC for an into the Chloeverse fic could be either a Season 4 Chloe who get's development that way or a version of Chloe who either never got the Miraculous or comes from a Universe where the Butterfly wasn't active or Miraculous might not even exist.

I think I like the idea of a version that didn't get the redemption, or even backslid from the redemption in a reasonable way, getting yeeted and seeing how much other versions of her actually made it.

And at first it pisses her off because why couldn't she have that? Why couldn't she have a support system who helped her, or a dad who gave half a fuck about her, or a group to be tossed at after the first one failed, or anything?

But after a while it does give her some hope. So many versions of her /did/ get better. So many /did/ make a change. Even if she doesn't have as much help as she'd like, she can do this. She's not inherently evil or broken. She's a kid in a fucked up place, and that can be fixed.
