I don’t know what this is but I hope you enjoy it. SG674 ANGST LET’S GOOO. (Also it’s freaking 2am)
— When you think of your best friend..or your lover..what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Surely not a scenario like this; standing face to face under a gray sky, droplets of cold rain falling one by one until they grow impatient and just pour down to the earth, dirt beneath your feet accompanied by silly lines that form an assortment of shapes, tired eyes with not an ounce of life in them, bloody hands and faces, broken hearts, a single knife in hand and once again…face to face with someone you once put all your trust in, about to participate in a murderous waltz for something that lost it’s worth after so many sacrifices. What is it all for at this point?
They made the efforts, made the sacrifices, all because they held those memories of the past so close to their hearts, because they held each other so close…how long would they be able to protect the other? They knew it was a last man standing’s game but they fogged up reality with something they made up together. He said he loved him. He said it too. Undelivered messages and unexpressed desires that could finally be met, even if within such a short time frame. They never should’ve done that; never should’ve loved, lusted, and craved. But fuck, it’s life or death, it won’t matter soon. He’ll be gone.
Instead of craving his touch, he’s avoiding his hand; his intentions have changed, their priorities faltered. One wanted vengeance. The other wanted victory. Neither of those goals involved the other. Their fates depended on the white lines and the blades in their hands, the will in their souls and the desperation in their eyes.
They’re shedding the clothes on their backs as a means of keeping the other at bay. They’re grabbing their hair, overstimulated by anger and not by that sinking feeling in their guts that hurt so bad but felt so good all the same. Choking, biting, scratching, stabbing, screaming, crying, killing.
Nothing mattered in the end; helpless looks in the other’s eyes as he lay exhausted, broken, defeated. Face held gently in the other’s as the seemingly endless memories came flooding back in, voices in the back of his head that he could never shake off.
What happened to us?
It was never meant to be; innocence was temporary, adolescent years were spent being sad and confused, and they never saw each other again until now. Were they really destined if their next meeting would be their last?
Don’t kiss me. You won’t let me go if you do.
I won’t let you now.
You have to.
End it. End it now. But they won’t get their justice if he does. They can’t leave together, they’d have to die together and that can’t happen. They want to see the other progress. He not only made promises to him, but to her. He can’t take that away, she won’t rest peacefully, neither will he.
Salty tears blend with the rain as it waters down the blood seeping from his neck. A broken voice sounds throughout the quiet yard, calling his name desperately as he picks him up in his arms. The urge is there. Just once more, he’s already gone. He’s already lost him. But he can’t. He’d never let him go. Once last kiss isn’t enough. They’d all just add up.
He never wanted to see him be carried away in one of those dreaded black boxes, the pink ribbon would haunt him for the rest of his life. It wasn’t right. He deserved a proper send off, they all did.
Maybe we weren’t meant to go any further than friends. Maybe we weren’t meant to be friends at all. But at least we met.

a guide to writing with me;
hello and welcome!
I'm Milo! 32yo, trans dude, he/him. I'm looking for sb 20+ who likes multiple paragraph prose, third person, preferably past tense though I'm willing to compromise. fluent grammar, written over discord in a server of our own. replies every few days if possible, but life sometimes gets in the way and I'm okay with that, hope you are too! my typical reply speed varies, from several times a day to a few times a week depending on how busy life is. I'm forgiving of small grammar mistakes (I'm not a native speaker myself) but can get a bit nitpicky! if that's not your thing that's fine, but proper grammar is important to me. ships I'm looking for at the bottom! (◡‿◡✿) note that just bc I don't have a current muse in a possible shared fandom listed here atm doesn't mean I can't adapt sb (cough Gambit) for said fandom or find a muse in that fandom to write! I'm fond of crossovers and AUs and have a lot of experience (see for yourself) for adapting Remy, for example, for multiple fandoms!
I'm also very into rare, odd ships! if you find a fandom and a potential muse you're interested here right on this list, pls don't be afraid to come to me with some outside-the-box ideas!
for the most part, I'm interested in writing MxM and romance heavy plots with some smut possibly occasionally tossed in. I'm not interested in toxic relationships; I like my ships to struggle, sure, but not because they're bad for each other but because, y'know... life. circumstances. trauma, outside forces, stuff like that making things complicated, but not enough that they're actively suffering because of one another. I like angst in a nice balance with fluff, obstacles that they can perservere through together, love larger than life, love that conquers all. open to death dove topics and open to kinky stuff. open to smut as well, as said, though I'm not interested in smut just for smut's sake.

so this might be an incredibly long shot, but; hi! 🐸 is anyone still into Squid Game? because recently, I've been finding myself wanting to write Cho Sang-woo. I've only ever written him very briefly but I really want to do more! some quick things; - ships I'm (for now at least) looking for are Gi-hun/Sang-woo or Ali/Sang-woo. possibly into male OCs too, but bottom line is I do headcanon Sang-woo as gay. open to many kinds of AUs! I like a good balance of the good and the bad, I can't do all angst or all fluff. - I'd like to write over discord! I usually write multiple paragraphs (from two up to ten lmao), in third person. I'm not a native speaker but I do pay attention to grammar, I hope you do too! I have some writing samples at the ready. - I try to reply at least once every day, sometimes multiple times a day, but sometimes life also just gets in the way. I also like to share headcanons, pictures, art, music and stuff with my ship partners outside of threads. I hope you're similar! - I'm 30 so I hope you're at least 20! absolutely no minors! if this piques your interest, please leave a like on this post and I'll come getcha! everyone take care! 🦎

The cold wraps around Sang-Woo and Gi-Hun as they enter the air-conditioned store. Sang-Woo takes a shopping basket and heads to an aisle without looking back to see if Gi-Hun is following him.
This is probably the worst fight they've had since the start of their relationship. And to think, just a few days ago, things were going great since that kiss. He couldn’t take his eyes off Gi-Hun, and now he can't even look at him.
They've made out plenty since then. When he had Gi-Hun over to tutor him, at the school library, where they were almost caught by a teacher, even at the riverbank, where they were caught by Ji-Yeong. They've gotten better at it too, with Sang-Woo copying what he saw at the movies.
But then Thursday came along. Fucking Thursday.
Gi-Hun's footsteps get louder beside him, almost drowning out the muffled sounds of a drizzle starting. Gi-Hun catches up to Sang-Woo's pace. It takes everything in Sang-Woo to not look at him.
Gi-Hun’s guard is up. It’s like he’s built a wall between them that Sang-Woo can’t break or climb over, but he looks up and sees Gi-Hun peeking over, looking at him with an expression that tells him that if Sang-Woo brings his pride down, Gi-Hun will bring down the wall.
Sang-Woo halts next to the colored papers. “What colors do you want?”
“You choose,” Gi-Hun mutters.
Sang-Woo rolls his eyes and turns to face Gi-Hun. His brain stops working, however, when he makes eye contact with Gi-Hun's piercing eyes. Gosh, he thinks. What happened to the puppy dog eyes Gi-Hun's always had?
Sang-Woo takes a breath. “Look, I know you're mad, I am too, but if we're gonna have to work on this stupid project together, you're gonna have to cooperate, okay?” It came out more aggressive than he meant.
Gi-Hun looks shocked, but he just closes his eyes. “Blue, yellow and green,” he says through his teeth.
Sang-Woo huffs out a frustrated thank you, grabs the papers, and puts them in the basket.
YESTERDAY, THURSDAY
Gi-Hun is leaning against the bookshelf as Sang-Woo’s hands ruffle through his hair. Their lips are pressed together, noses brushing while taking in each other’s scent. Gi-Hun pulls away for a second to catch his breath but is immediately sucked back to Sang-Woo’s mouth, causing their teeth to clash for a moment. Gi-Hun emits a small yelp of pain, or maybe it was a moan, Sang-Woo can’t tell.
Sunlight shines through a window and puts a spotlight on them, adding to the heat of their kiss and brisk heartbeats. Their uniforms get warmer from the friction of their chests. Sang-Woo is a little scared that they’ll get caught, but probably not nearly enough as he should be.
The books behind Gi-Hun shake. “Wait,” Gi-Hun says, pulling away. “We’re being too loud, this is a library.”
They are positioned at the very back of the room, bookshelves covering them. Barely any people are in the room, just them, the librarian, and a few students studying.
Sang-Woo wipes a sweat running down Gi-Hun’s forehead. “Then kiss me slower.”
Gi-Hun’s cheeks flush as Sang-Woo’s thumbs caress them. Sang-Woo leans back in. Gi-Hun’s eyes close a moment before Sang-Woo shuts his. They meet again. Gi-Hun’s mouth opens as Sang-Woo’s tongue finds its way in. They move in a rhythm, Sang-Woo’s hand travels down to Gi-Hun’s waist as Gi-Hun holds Sang-Woo’s neck.
A thud near them.
They stop abruptly, quickly getting off each other, a thread of saliva snapping at their divergence. Sang-Woo grabs a book and pretends to read. Gi-Hun wipes his mouth with his arm.
The teacher emerges from the bookshelves, halts, and looks at them for a few seconds. Sang-Woo keeps his eyes on the book, which he’s too nervous to even see. He’s looking at it, but he’s not seeing it.
“You two,” the teacher says. Sang-Woo and Gi-Hun stiffen up as they turn to look at him. “It’s almost one o’clock. Shouldn’t you be going to your classrooms?”
“Uh, of course, sir,” Sang-Woo says. “We were just about to leave.”
The teacher nods. “Your book’s upside down by the way.” He pushes up his glasses and walks away.
They looked at each other and burst out into laughter as Sang-Woo closes his book shut. He looks down at the cover— Three Generations upside down.
くコ:彡 くコ:彡 くコ:彡
Gi-Hun and Sang-Woo sit next to each other in class. The teacher stands behind his desk, holding a stack of papers. “Alright, everybody listen!” he says as he taps the stack of papers on the desk, evening them out. “You’re gonna do your project in pairs. I’ll call out the names of your partners!”
The teacher looks at the papers. “Jiyeong and Jun-Ho. Ali and Sae-Byeok…” He continues, then, finally, “Gi-Hun and Sang-Woo.”
Sang-Woo smiles. He would probably do the entire project by himself if Gi-Hun asked, but Sang-Woo knew he wouldn’t. Sure, Gi-Hun can be irresponsible at times, but that doesn’t mean he’ll let anyone he loves suffer. It’s one of the things that gives Sang-Woo a fuzzy feeling every time he looks at Gi-Hun.
He looks at Gi-Hun, who is giving him the same loving smile he has on his face.
“Okay, you all got that?” the teacher says. “Now, for your project, you’re going to make a pop-up card made of colored paper cut in the shapes of different quadrilaterals. It’s up to you what object you’d like to create. Does everybody understand?”
The whole class says, “Yes,” in unison.
The bell rings.
“And remember, the school dance is on Saturday.” The teacher exits the room. It’s their last period, and the students start to stand up and put on their backpacks. Sang-Woo does too. He sees Gi-Hun stand up and Sang-Woo grabs his bag before him.
“I’ll do it for you,” he says smiling, wearing the backpack at the front. Gi-Hun smiles back at him for that. Sang-Woo feels his cheeks heat up and that fuzzy feeling grows in his chest again.
“So, about the school dance…” Gi-Hun says. Sang-Woo smiles, he's already asked Gi-Hun to go with him earlier this morning. Of course,  Gi-Hun said yes.
“Pick you up at seven?”
Gi-Hun nods.
They walk slowly through the hallway side by side. Sang-Woo thinks Gi-Hun’s hands must be metal and his must be a magnet because the pull when they’re only inches apart is excruciatingly strong. But Gi-Hun takes Sang-Woo’s hand, and his palm doesn’t feel like metal. It’s soft and warm and feels like home, and he can imagine the rest of his life like this: Gi-Hun’s warmth sprawling through his body while they grow old and live together.
The heat of Gi-Hun’s touch travels through Sang-Woo’s entire body, and embarrassingly, that includes the place in his crotch. Sang-Woo feels his boxers getting tighter.
Shit. They’re still in school. Sang-Woo can’t be caught in public with a hard-on while holding hands with his boyfriend!
Sang-Woo’s palms grow sweaty from the fire in his thumping chest. He jerks his hand off of Gi-Hun’s. His boyfriend flits his head to him with shock and concern in his eyes.
“What’s wrong? Are you okay?” Gi-Hun presses his hand onto Sang-Woo’s neck. “Your pulse is heavy… and you’re sweating so much again! Did your fever come back?”
Fuck. With Gi-Hun this close, Sang-Woo will overheat. And the worry in his voice too. Oh no, Sang-Woo can’t take it anymore.
He puts his hands on Gi-Hun’s cheek so suddenly that he’s practically slapping him. Sang-Woo pulls Gi-Hun in and catches his lips with Sang-Woo’s own, closing his eyes. All of this before he could even think.
Sang-Woo parts his lips, but instead of Gi-Hun doing the same and taking in Sang-Woo like how he did earlier in the library, Sang-Woo feels Gi-Hun’s hands pressing on his chest and pushing him away.
Sang-Woo opens his eyes and sees Gi-Hun looking at him with those same eyes, and they’re still filled with shock. But this time, they’re not filled with concern.
They’re filled with fear.
“W…what are you doing?” Gi-Hun whimpers. And it’s then that Sang-Woo realizes how many people are staring at them.
What did he do? Sang-Woo feels his insides sink and shame weighing down on him. It’s suffocating.
“It’s… I—  Well—” he struggles to get a word out.
“Let’s talk somewhere else.” Gi-Hun blinks. His eyes are starting to water. “Just… follow me.” Gi-Hun starts walking off. Sang-Woo stares at Gi-Hun’s shrinking silhouette for a few seconds, not fully registering what’s going on.
He hears Deok-su’s voice from behind. “Well, well, well, are the two fairies having a lovers’ quarre—”
“Shut the fuck up, Deok-su.” Sang-Woo follows Gi-Hun, flipping off the teasing boy from behind.
Gi-Hun leads Sang-Woo to a nearby vacant boys’ bathroom. It smells like garbage, one of the lights is broken, and the mirror is smudged with Lord knows what, but it’s the nearest place where they can get privacy. The two are about three feet apart. They stand quietly for a moment.
Gi-Hun turns around to face Sang-Woo. “W…” he starts, but doesn’t finish. He looks at the stalls, probably to make sure that no one is there to eavesdrop. “Why did you do that?” Gi-Hun’s voice wavers a little.
“I thought you wouldn't have a problem with it. We’ve kissed a bunch of times before and you were fine—”
“That’s because you asked first so I was prepared!” He fidgets with his hands. “And it wasn’t in front of that many people! And, and…”  Gi-Hun bows his head, but Sang-Woo can tell he’s about to cry.  “And you weren’t so forceful like that those other times. You just… suddenly grabbed me and smushed your lips on mine.” He pauses between each sentence. “It hurt. And it was scary.” He was shouting at first but now he’s whimpering each word. Sang-Woo could hear him whisper, “Plus, fevers are contagious.”
But, that isn’t fair! Sang-Woo thinks. He’s heard many times that it’s normal for teenage boys to have raging hormones. Every time he’s seen a guy being disruptive or doing something he isn’t wanted to do, Sang-Woo has heard people say, “Boys will be boys.” He’s only seen movies where even if the man kisses the girl without asking, the girl doesn’t mind. So, why is it his fault? Why is Gi-Hun blaming him? He didn’t do anything wrong.
Right?
He thinks of the way Gi-Hun looked at him with fear, and the shame and guilt press down deeper on him but somehow, his ego upholds his pride and pushes the remorse away.
“So, what? You’re embarrassed to be seen kissing me? Does it embarrass you to love me?” Sang-Woo says.
Gi-Hun looks at him with disbelief and a tinge of sadness. His brows furrow in anger. “Don’t try to turn this around on me, Cho. When did I fucking say that? All this time, you’ve respected my space and decisions, so why are you doing this now? Is it so hard to keep on asking me before you do it for fuck’s sake?”
Sang-Woo huffs. Cho. His last name. Gi-Hun hasn’t called him that since elementary.
Gi-Hun’s eyes are red and filled with tears. It makes Sang-Woo’s heart ache. Gi-Hun storms out of the room and Sang-Woo is left in this shitty, stinky bathroom. Sang-Woo looks at himself in the mirror. Was he really in the right?
Or did he just fuck this whole thing up?
TODAY, FRIDAY
The fresh smell of an air-conditioned store lingers. Sang-Woo’s hands grow cold around the plastic handle of the shopping basket. He wonders if Gi-Hun’s hand is cold as well. It must be. Sang-Woo wants to hold it and keep it in his warm pocket. And maybe it will still feel like home. Even after that fight, the magnetic force is still there.
Sang-Woo looks out the window and sees the cloudy skies, the drizzle slowly turning to rain. The stars are no longer visible unlike that night during the field trip when they first kissed.
And yet again, he’s thinking about kissing Gi-Hun. Gosh, how frequently has he been thinking that?
Sang-Woo’s mother found out about the project and had him call Gi-Hun to arrange a date and time to work on the project together. Sang-Woo thought it was gonna be a hard call but it was Gi-Hun’s mother who answered and she told Sang-Woo that she’ll have Gi-Hun come to their house this evening.
So now here they are.
The store is pretty quiet, except for the nearby beeping of the cash register and the quiet voice of the cashier handling the customers’ purchases. And somehow, the silence is making things worse for Sang-Woo. It lets his thoughts sit and rest and allows the guilt to slide back in, where it belongs. The pride has diminished over time, so there is nothing to push it back.
Ever since the argument happened, he’s had nothing else to think about other than the situation. He went over every word that was said and each feeling he experienced.
Only now has he thought about what Gi-Hun might have felt.
The guilt sprawls over him wider.
“I’m s…” Sang-Woo heard himself mutter before he knew it. Gi-Hun looks at him.  The hostility and anger in his eyes seem to have lessened a little. “I’m s…” he tries again.
“What?” Gi-Hun mutters. The bricks of the wall are slowly cracking.
“I’m…searching for the card stock. Have you seen it?” For fuck’s sake! He can’t even apologize. How on earth is he gonna make this right?
Gi-Hun sighs. And just like that, the wall is back up. The chain is on his door again and the defenses are up once more.
Gi-Hun’s eyes slowly get wet. “Are you really that impenetrable to guilt?” he snaps. The beeping of the cash register stops and the light chatter ceases. The sounds of the impending rain outside grow louder. They should’ve brought an umbrella.
 Sang-Woo can tell people are staring at them about to have an argument. Just like yesterday.
“Gi-Hun—”
“I can’t do this.” Gi-Hun walks out of the store. Sang-Woo drops his basket, spilling all the items they were about to purchase.
“Wait, no, Gi-Hun, it’s pouring, you’ll catch a cold!” He chases after him, opening the glass door and trading the cold air of the store for the frigid rain outside. He gets drenched instantly, and the raindrops hit them briskly. He catches up to Gi-Hun and grabs his hand. Gi-Hun halts, and Sang-Woo feels his wrist tighten.
“You know I’m faster than you,” Sang-Woo tries to joke, but Gi-Hun turns to face him and his expression says that Gi-Hun’s in no mood for jokes. Gi-Hun yanks his hand off Sang-Woo’s.
His eyes transform from angry to heartbroken, restoring his puppy dog eyes. Seeing him like this, drenched with a sorrowful look on his face, the guilt takes over Sang-Woo’s body. And he can no longer fight it. He can no longer try to evade the truth.
He fucked up. Really bad.
“You know,” Gi-Hun starts, “one of the biggest reasons why I fell so hard for you is because you were caring and gentle and responsible and you cared for my feelings .” Gi-Hun sobs. “I don’t why you’re like this now but I don’t know if I wanna stay with someone who doesn’t respect my boundaries.” His eyes are so red. The tears from his eyes blend with the rain.
“And you can’t even say sorry,” his voice crumbles. “If you still want to take me to the dance, fine. But, I think we need a break,” he finishes off. And with that, he walks away.
Sang-Woo wants to chase after him, to say he’s sorry and that he’s realized he’s wrong and that he swears it’ll never happen again. That he’ll never hurt him again. That he can’t stand to see him hurting so much because of him.
But he doesn’t. He just stands still in the pouring rain, not sure if it’s the gelid rain or time that froze him.
Realizing that Gi-Hun just left him. Under the same sky they fell in love on.

No Good Deed Goes Unpunished (Sang-woo x reader)
Sang-woo x AFAB* reader story. (squid game)
* The only reason the reader is AFAB is because, in the story, they use the women’s restroom. I always try to use gender neutral pronouns*
Summary: you and sang-woo complete the 5th game together, and you end up getting hurt instead of Sae-byeok.
Warnings: Death, Main character death, Blood, Angst, Sang-woo being  psychopathic  :’)
I dunno if this classifies as Sae-byeok x reader bc you two do have a moment...
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It was the 5th game. You, Gi-hun, Sae-byeok, Sang-woo, and another man, ahead of all of you, were still alive. You were almost there to the end. Just one more glass panel in the way before all of you were to safety.
Thankfully you were one of the last ones to choose a number along with Gi-hun, and ended up between Sang-woo and Sae-byeok.
At first you were prone to choose one of the higher numbers, but before you chose Sang-woo told you to wait and choose a middle number or one of the last ones, and you respected and trusted him so you waited until you got a hold of number 15.
The only numbers left right now were 17,16,15,14, and 13. And at the moment 13 was stalling before he made his decision.
For the past minute 13 had been trying to determine which glass was tempered or normal, and you could tell everyone was feeling the pressure of the impending doom there was if we ran out of time.
You had all run out of ideas, and you could tell from behind Sang-woo that he was getting anxious. You had known him for 2 years when you both attended Seoul National University.
“I… I can’t tell them apart” you heard 13 say despairingly. “If we had another marble…”
He waited for something to intervene and save him from this situation. He didn’t want to die, and neither did anyone here, but time was running out and something needed to happen.
You shakily stood up from your sort of crouching position. You took a deep breath and leaped onto the glass Sang-woo was standing on, forcing him to move some to the side.
“What are you doing?” He brashly asked.
“We're running out of time.” You paused, “I’ll go.”
“No,” Sang-woo answered without hesitation. “You’re staying put, he’s going.” Sang-woo had always admired your bravery and determination when you knew each other back then, but now was not the time.
You looked at him “We don't have time to argue, we all need to live”
At that 13 stood up in expectation that you would join him to further jump on one of the last glass panels.
“You’re not moving,” Sang-woo directed at you, and then pointed at the man in front of him. “JUST GO!”
Number 13 stuttered at Sang-woo’s volume. Eyes glancing between you and Sang-woo. “They- They said they would-”
Sang-woo didn’t bother to listen to the man’s excuse for staying in place. He forcefully shoved him backward, the man breaking the tempered glass in front of him on the way down. Shortly afterward you could hear his body hit the bottom.
“GO!” Sang-woo yelled in your ear.
Mostly in fear of the man beside you, and the time running out, you quickly jumped across the last remaining glass to the end. Sang-woo and the other two followed just as briskly before the time hit zero.
Just when you thought you were safe after the clock stopped you heard glass shatter. You turned your head to see the glass panels explode before you, and in retaliation you tried to shield your body from the impending glass shards.
But it was not enough. A good sized chunk pierced you right in the side. You didn’t feel the pain much at first, but you could definitely tell it was deep. Deep enough to possibly kill you.
...
Later, when you all arrived back to your shared chamber, You could hear Gi-hun argue with Sang-woo about how he murdered the man. But you were too tired, and in too much pain to care. You quickly noticed and accepted that there were four beds left, one for each person, and quickly claimed one to sit and wait.
But in not much time some guards entered and offered you all “gifts.” You quickly took this opportunity to check your wound, and hurried to the women’s restroom.
When you entered the women’s restroom, you wasted no time removing your shirt to inspect the wound. You looked bad, even worse than you thought, and you had to suppress a gag. You were never good with bloody injuries, but thankfully, surviving all previous games toughed you up a bit.
You bit into your shirt and prepared to carefully remove the glass shard.
When you yanked it out you let out a pained yell, clenching your teeth hard around the shirt, but it was muffled.
Now, the blood wasn’t being stopped by the glass and it was leaking at a fast pace down your side and onto the sink.
You took your shirt and wrapped it around the lower part of your torso where the wound was, and knotted it tight, eliciting another groan of pain from you.
You hoped that was enough to stop the bleeding and leaned against the cold mirror to catch your breath. Closing your eyes, you tried to think of good memories, something to distract you because the pain was almost unbearable.
Not long afterward, you faintly heard the door to the women’s restroom open.
You pried open one eye to catch Sae-byeok carrying the “gift” box. She was walking toward you.
You could only imagine the sight. Blood covering the sink and the floor beneath it. Some on the mirror, but mostly soaking your clothes. And you, clutching your wound and panting like you ran a couple miles.
“What happened?” you heard her monotone voice say.
“I-” your voice held a considerable amount of pain. “Some of the glass got me in my...side”
Sae-byeok nodded and for a while it was silent.
You knew what she was thinking. You were hurt. Badly hurt. If the last game was physical, there was no chance of your survival. In fact, you probably weren’t going to last the night. At this rate you were done. You were finished.
“Do you need help?” She asked quietly. “The gift was some clothes.”
You nodded. And She took out your suit and helped you change. If one person was going to leave this place, whoever it may be, you really hoped it was her.
“Sae-byeok…” you started. “ I hope that… when you get out-”
“I'm done” she cut you off. “You should leave, if you stay here too long the guards will get suspicious”
You slowly nodded before half limping away, but before you left you turned to her. “Thank you” You said, and exited the bathroom.
Sae-byeok continued to stare at the ground from when she was tying your shoelaces. She didn’t want to lose another nice person. She didn’t want to get close to anyone else. Not after her…
...
When you all returned, the chamber had changed. There was a square shaped long dining table in the middle of it, the table was decorated fancily, and there were even candles and steak to eat.
You were ushered by guards to your assigned place to sit and then, after sometime you were left to yourself.
In normal situations, this could be seen as a nice, classy, even romantic atmosphere to eat. You would normally dig in, but right now. You felt too uncomfortable to eat, let aloe sit. And the atmosphere was tense, unsettling. Gi-hun was obviously still angry, and Sae-byeok’s mood was somber.
Then, almost hesitantly, Sang-woo was the first one to touch his food and eat. And the rest of you began too.
You could tell, even throughout eating, everyone was wary of each other. Of course, Gi-hun and Saebyeok had trust between each other, and they both also trusted you. So really, Sang-woo was the only one to be anxious about, and there were heavily uneven opposing sides. But part of you still believed in him. Part of you still believed in everyone, but mostly in him.
Sang-woo was never a bad person. Ever since the day you had met him you knew he had a humble soul, and you always understood and helped him, and he in turn, helped you. The last thing you wanted was to side with him and fight against Gi-hun and Sae-byeok, but maybe you could see if all four of you could work together in the last game. If you made it long enough…
But as the guards cleared the tables and cleaned up you felt worse and worse about it. Especially when one layed a single steak knife in front of you and to the rest. You knew what they were doing. They were setting you all up to kill each other before the next game!
...
A lot of time passed before anything happened. Everything was quiet in the Chamber room. No one had anything to say, but everyone knew not to fall asleep.
Earlier, Gi-hun had visited Sae-byeok’s bed, probably to discuss something about the next game. So it left you and Sang-woo alone on the other side of the large room.
It was extremely hard to stay awake, in fact, you were constantly fighting just to keep your eyes open, so you figured standing would be better.
You could see through the dim light that Sang-woo was having a hard time staying awake as well. And apparently you weren’t the only one who noticed this because you saw Gi-hun stalk toward him, just a bit, with the steak knife in his hands.
You didn’t want another murder, especially not on Sang-woo, so you (as fast as you could) limped over to Sang-woo’s cot.
There he was, sitting up, using the wall to support himself. His head was hanging and you could see the steak knife slip out of his hand and land on his mattress.
“Sang-woo” You said softly. Constantly adjusting your stance to accommodate the pain. “Sang-woo”
He slowly opened his eyes and panicked. Snatching the knife and holding it in a defensive position. His eyes looked crazy, completely different to the way you remember all those years ago.
“Sang-woo, it's me. I'm not here to kill you.”
He was still anxious, and it broke your heart to know he didn’t trust you.
“You were about to fall asleep. I didn’t want you to get hurt” You said truthfully.
“Where’s your knife?” He asked bluntly.
“I have it right here” You said as you pulled it from your pocket. “But I have no intention of using this” and you threw it far away, in the direction of your bed.
Sang-woo watched it clatter near the foot of your bed, and his attention was back on you. He calmed down, and remembered who he was talking to. He lowered his arm and released some tension.
“Can I sit down?” You asked, and motioned toward his bed.
He slowly nodded. He was more scared as to why you wanted to sit with him.
“Thanks” You answered and slowly sat down, to minimize the pain. But of course when you finally relaxed on the mattress you let out a groan of pain. This did not go unnoticed by Sang-woo, but he didn’t want to say anything, afraid of what he, himself, might do if he DID know you were injured.
“Why?” you asked simply. You were still thinking about what he did in the last game.
He hesitated before answering. He looked up at you but also caught Gi-hun and Sae-byeok staring at the both of you from across the chamber.
“It was the only way. He wouldn’t move-”
“That isn’t true, I could've gone. I wanted to go”
He sighed and put his knife somewhere behind him rather than in his hand.
“I couldn’t let you do that” He almost whispered, ignoring the question.
You both sat in silence. You didn’t want to argue with him.
“You…” he quietly uttered. “You mean a lot to me, I didn’t want to see you dead”
You couldn’t respond. You appreciated his concern, but murder is murder, and you weren’t easily forgiving that.
“You mean lots to me too, But I don’t know if I can forgive you.”
He nodded. “I… understand”
Not too long after, your vision went black for a second. And you swayed a bit in place. He instinctively reached out to balance you, but you swatted his hands away with whatever strength you had left.
“Please, I don’t need it. I’m fine.” but both of you knew you were lying. And he finally noticed the red coating the white button up underneath your coat.
“You’re hurt” He stated. And ignored your protests and laid you down, getting up in the process and moving his knife so you could lie down.
“Sang-woo...Listen” You spoke. Halting his movements to make you comfortable. “I’ll probably not make it to the end, my father depends on me back home. Please help him for me. Tell him I sent you.”
But Sang-woo was still silent. You thought he was listening but his thoughts were far elsewhere.
“Sang-woo…” you called, your voice pained, “Sang-woo?”
His eyes were frantic. You had never seen him so upset and unsettled.
You could feel yourself drift away. Your eyes were not focusing and you felt so, so heavy. Your eyes closed and you stilled.
But then, You could hear yelling. And all of a sudden, something plunged into the side of your neck.
Your eyes opened wide and at first you saw Sang-woo, he was holding himself above you. But then you saw his arm, and his hand.
He had stabbed the knife to hilt in your throat. And red covered your vision. You saw red on him. And then with one choked sob, your eyes lost that spark, and you died.
Gi-hun had seen it. He was worried about you the moment he saw you walk over to him. But he was also confused. How could you trust that bastard?
And now you were dead. He had seen Sang-woo lay you down, lean over you, and stab you. He was a cold hearted murderer. And as soon as he saw you faint he was running in your direction.
“SANG-WOO!” Gi-hun screamed in anger.
But Sang-woo didn't answer. He was still staring at you, holding you cheek. Your blood staining his face and hands.
Once Gi-hun reached you, He shoved Sang-woo off of you, and leaned over to look. You were really dead. And as if to prove it, the lights turned on and the door to the chamber opened.
Masked guards walked in with a coffin. And walked over to take your limp, lifeless body away.
Gi-hun finally looked up to see Sang-woo’s expressionless face. Sang-woo looked more tired than anything else.
“You!” Gi-hun got up. “You monster! You were friends!”
Yet Sang-woo continued to stay silent.
Gi-hun raised his knife, aiming to strike Sang-woo, but a guard pushed him away and restrained him.
Another guard shoved Sang-woo away with the end of their gun. As Gi-hun continued to yell and scream at Sang-woo, Sang-woo watched as they took your body away, probably to be disposed of, he wouldn’t know.
In truth, he didn’t know why he did it. You were going to die anyway. It was like an urge he couldn’t control. He would go his whole life not knowing why, but out of all the people he killed. Either outright or in the games to win. Yours hurt the worst. And he would probably think about you, until the day he died.

once again, please tell me if I made any mistakes. and please no hate, just constructive criticism :’) thx

Quantum Physics - SugarDaddy!Sang-Woo x SugarBaby!Reader
Sang-Woo needs help keeping his mom off his back

Tumblr media
My delicately painted-black nails tapped against the crystal glass, bubbling with expensive champagne. I scanned the swanky interior, the dull hum of conversations around me rumbling in my ears with the soft tinkle of the lone grand piano in the corner filling in the empty spaces. Couples dressed in their Sunday best sipped away at their champagne and laughed happily while suited and booted businessmen discussed whatever they may over short whiskey glasses, the bottle long left at the table. My teeth bit at my lips before I caught myself, rubbing my tongue along my teeth to clean off the bright red lipstick now surely on my teeth. The immaculate waitresses held pity in their eyes each time they passed me as the minutes ticked by. He promised me he would come. His instructions were to “get a nice bottle of my favourite” while I waited for him so I picked out something light and I waited.
And I waited. And I waited.
Unlocking my phone, I scrolled through our conversation. Maybe I’d misunderstood and I was making a fool of myself, or maybe I’m at the wrong restaurant - oh god, could you imagine? As all these panicked images rushed behind my eyes, I didn’t even notice the handsome man I’d been waiting for until a stunningly curated bouquet of mixed flowers, wrapped in luxurious gold and black paper, was before my eyes. “I’m so sorry I’m late. You would not believe the day I’ve had…”
Snapping out of my trance, my eyes brightened as a smile took over my face and relief filled my chest. Taking the gorgeous flowers and carefully sitting them next to us on the large table, my fingers brushed his as he sat down and breathed a deep sigh of relief that he’d actually made it. He pushed his glasses up his nose, flustered by how late he was. I reached out my hand and gently rested it on top of his, offering a warm smile and a soft chuckle. “I was beginning to think maybe you weren’t coming”.
His fingers closed around my smaller ones, giving my hand a gentle squeeze as he finally began to relax a little. “Seeing you is the best part of my week. I wouldn’t miss it for the world”.
His words made my heart jump a little, but I held myself together and kept a strong visage. This was a business arrangement above all else. There were no real feelings, or at least there weren’t meant to be. Sang Woo and I met pretty regularly for dinner and he’d always take me to lavish functions to show off and peacock to jealous investors.
However, whereas most of his friends had two or three girls, he only ever seemed to take me. Yet, after 2 whole months of meeting, he hadn’t even hinted at sex. He’d never even invited me back to his apartment, or asked to see the one he’d paid to move me into. He was always a perfect gentleman. It was hard not to become attached to Sang-Woo and even though I knew it would only lead to heartbreak for me, I gave in. These guys get bored so easily. Usually they have a new one every 3 months and I couldn’t help but remember how close we were to that 3 month mark every time I thought of him.
He let go of my hand, pouring himself a glass of champagne and topping mine up. A waitress approached us and before I could even speak my order, Sang-Woo had already told her with a query in his voice, looking towards me for approval. I couldn’t held but grin, nodding at the waitress in approval. He seemed proud of himself, and the fact he remembered my specific order at this specific restaurant filled me with both sorrow and pure love. He was so thoughtful and smart on top of how handsome and successful he was. He was someone who not only could look after me, but someone who I could really be happy with.
“I’m really glad you agreed to come tonight. I need to ask you something really important. My mom is coming to visit…and I may or may not have told her we’ve been dating for the last few months.” He smiled nervously, taking a sip from the glass as he gauged my reaction. A giggle left my lips, watching him get anxious after his admission. My hand found his again on the table, his eyes falling to rest on our touching hands. “My question is - would you please come meet her? She’s been begging to meet you. She asks so many questions and I think she thinks I’m lying…”
Well, he is lying. We aren’t together and we haven’t “been together for a few months”, but it didn’t bother me at all. If anything, it filled me with that same warmth I get from all the sweet things he did for me. It simply made me happy. I knew it was out of convenience for him and he just wanted his mom off his back about finding a wife, but it still made me feel like maybe he truly did feel the same way.
I cleared my throat, pushing all the intrusive what ifs out of my head, and brought my attention up to his nervous expression. His hand held mine, his thumb rubbing against the back of my hand slowly as he waited for an answer. As I was about to open my mouth to answer, he cut me off. “I’ll pay you for your time.”
A sad smile managed to break through my mask. I’d love to be able to tell him how I felt, that he didn’t need to pay me for my time, but instead I just gathered myself and pulled a sad smile into a joyous one.
“Of course. I can’t wait to meet her.”
He brightened up, a smile taking over his face as he squeezed my hand happily. He began babbling on about all the different things she’d asked him and what he’d told her, but I could barely pay attention. He was so cute when he was getting carried away. I’d never seen him talk so much as when he told me stories about his mom. I could tell his mom was the most important person to him, even if he doesn’t always make the effort to go and see her.
The night of dinner with his mom caught up with us fast. I smoothed out the dress that Sang-Woo had taken me shopping for in the days previous and carefully inspected my makeup before I hopped out of my car. The cold night nipped at my face and neck as I approached the building he’d sent me the address to. It was a sky scraper with a simplistic modern lobby and shiny elevators. I sent Sang-Woo a text signalling I was there and he buzzed me up to the 29th floor. I searched the halls for number 218 before pressing the doorbell. The door opened very quickly and there stood Sang-Woo; dressed down from his usual corporate attire but still neat and tidy.
He smiled warmly, pulling me into his arms suddenly. I was taken aback at the sudden contact; he was never that forward. His head rested on my shoulder and he whispered into my ear. “Are you ready for this?”
Nodding, I pulled back and took his hand with a warm smile. I couldn’t help but be excited to play this part. After all, it was the part I wanted so badly.
His mom was a lovely, doting and hard working woman who made her way all the way out here to her son’s apartment to cook us dinner because her son was too busy to come see her. She asked me all about my family and what I do for work and I gave a great performance giving all the answers Sang-Woo had prepared for me. The whole time his hand ran gentle lines up and down my arm, or wrapped around my shoulders to leisurely pull me closer to him. I couldn’t help but blush at the closeness and I definitely couldn’t help how much I enjoyed it. He’d told her a lot of things and most of them were the truth about me, and I realised he knew me so much better than I thought. He listened to everything i told him, and it was important enough to him to remember it. He really was someone very special and I couldn’t deny I was really falling in love.
The rest of the night went smoothly and at around 10, we made sure his mom safely got a taxi back home. Sang-Woo gave his mom some money for the ride and some extra to get some things fixed around her stall and at home. As she drove away and safely turned a corner, we both exhaled a collective breath we didn’t realise we’d been holding. He laughed nervously, eyeing me to see how I’d react now it was just the two of us. I didn’t quite know how to react - he’d put on a very convincing show. Almost convincing enough to be real. He broke the silence, finally.
“You did really well. I think she really likes you. I really appreciate what you did for me.” He seemed hesitant, like he was choosing his words carefully. He fell silent for a moment, clearly thinking hard about something. He stuttered a little, starting his sentence a few times but stopping, not quite being able to find the right words. Frustrated, he gave up. He exhaled a sharp sigh and met my eyes.
“Look, I’ve been wanting to ask you this for a while and I don’t know how to bring it up but I can’t keep doing this.”
My heart sank, the happiness I was feeling freezing in my veins as I hung on his every word. I knew it was coming. How could i have been so stupid? I braced myself for the next steps, readying my exit strategy so that he wouldn’t see me shed a tear.
“I know you probably have other… clients… but I really want you to be mine exclusively. I’ll pay double-“
I couldn’t contain the absolute joy I felt, and before I could control it, I jumped forward and pressed my lips to his. He pulled back immediately, completely shocked, before he realised what had happened and reconnected the kiss. His arms wrapped around me again and that delicious closeness we had filled my veins again. My hands tangled into his hair, pulling him closer and eliciting a soft groan from him. The night air bit our faces, our breath fogging up the air in front of us as we separated slightly, foreheads resting against each other.
“I really like you, Sang-Woo. I’d absolutely love to be yours.”
He broke out in a grin before pressing his lips to mine again. Our lips melted together and moved in rhythm. His slow hands roamed my closed back, drawing patterns with the back of his fingers. He pulled away again, taking my hand and gently pulling me towards the elevator.
The short trip to the 29th floor was filled with ever intensifying touches and hands roaming further and further. He practically dragged me back to his apartment, and as soon as the door closed, his lips were on my neck. He whispered little things into my ear between kisses, his body pressing mine to the front door firmly but gently. His lips pulled slightly away from my skin, and I could feel his breath tickling my ear.
“Is this something you want to do?”
His voice was low and quiet, a tone I’d never heard from him. I nodded swiftly, making it known how badly I wanted him. He pulled back entirely, pressing a firm kiss to my lips before leading me further into his apartment and down the hall to his bedroom. It was dimly lit with a small lamp on the desk sitting in the corner, modern black furniture dotting the room. His warm hands pushed at my shoulders and I laid back on his bed. He hovered over top of me, reconnecting our lips in a much more passionate kiss. The energy had changed, the lust building up in both of us after the months of budding feelings.
His hands roamed my body, gently groping at my clothed breasts with his lips attached to my neck. He sucked a small bruise into the skin, pulling a gasp from me and a satisfied smirk from him. Sitting up slightly, I quickly pulled the zip to my dress down and he quickly pushed it over my arms and down my legs, leaving me in the lacy black matching set I’d worn just in case I got my wish. Quantum Physics says thoughts manifest your reality, and this time, they did.
His eyes raked down my body and I drank in the attention. A small groan escaped his lips as he took the sight below him in. Undoing the buttons on his shirt, he quickly shed it and set to swiftly getting rid of his jeans to leave him in his underwear like I was. I shifted back on the bed and he followed me up, reconnecting our lips in a heatedly passionate kiss. I reached behind me to unsnap my bra and quickly pulled it away. His hands immediately moved to carefully squeeze at my breasts, his fingers tweaking my nipples and causing mewls and gasps to fall from my lips - much to his delight. My hand reached down to softly palm him through his boxers. He was painfully hard, a small wet patch where the tip sat under the fabric. He hummed into my mouth, his lips parting slightly in an involuntary movement.
Carefully, I pushed him so that i could crawl up and straddle his waist. He rested his head back against the soft pillows, looking up at me with love in his eyes and a dumb smile on his face while my hand gently ran up and down his clothed cock. Pulling at the elastic, he shifted so I could pull it down, and pulled my own panties off to leave us both bare. His hands rested at my hips, watching my hand carefully take his length and stroke it a few times before lining it up and gently lowering myself down. A loud moan escaped both of our lips at the same time as he bottomed out, and I started to move in a steady, slow motion. His hands at my waist guided me, encouraging me to speed my movements up. I picked up the pace, one of his hands moving to squeeze at my breast as he watched me ride his cock lazily through half lidded eyes. The hand left on my waist made its way down, rubbing small circles at my clit. He pushed his hips upward to help me get a better angle and when his cock hit that one spot, a choked moan left my lips. My eyes squeezed closed as he quickened his pace on my clit, my hips snapping faster and faster as I chased my high. He loved every second of it; just laying back and watching me get myself off on his cock. It was such a sweet moment for him; he’d been imagining pleasing since the night he met her.
I finally hit my high, clenching tightly around his cock underneath me and pulling a groan from him as he felt my warm pussy flutter around him. He gave me a moment to bask in my orgasm, before he quickly flipped us so that he was on top, pushing himself back in and starting a quick and steady pace of his own. Small squeals escaped my lips, his hands holding my shoulders to push me into his thrusts. His face pushed into my neck, breathing raggedly as he got closer and closer to his own high.
“Fuck- Can I please cum inside you?” His voice was husky and his words were said through pants. I let out an embarrassingly loud moan as my first reaction to his request, nodding enthusiastically. He groaned, sinking his teeth into my neck as his hips stuttered. He released the skin from his bite with a gasp and a choked moan as he stilled inside me, filling me up.
For a minute, we just laid together while we caught our breath. He slowly pulled out, smirking a little as he gathered a little bit that spilled out and pushed it back inside.
He laid back, pulling me into his arms with my head on his chest and his fingers gently playing with my hair. We didn’t exchange any words, neither of us had anything to say. We just laid there, wrapped in his arms, and slowly fell asleep to the sound of breathing. Something felt so warm and promising. It really felt like the first steps to true love.

Hello luv hope your having a great day may I request sae byeok's reaction to her s/o bringing back a dog or cat tyy mwah <33
when you can't have pets because you're allergic :( I hope you're having a beautiful day amor <33
Sae wasn't mad, but she wasn't happy either. You knew Sae wasn't a pet type of person, but you were getting bored every time she went to work, and thought that having something with 4 legs running around the house wouldn't be a bad idea.
"Oh come on Sae, look at how cute he is," you said pointing at the black cat walking between her legs.
"Y/N. You know I don't like having pets of my own," she signed throwing her head back.
"You want me to take him back?" You asked, you were willing to bring the small cat back with all the pain in your heart.
Now she felt bad, because the cat was cute, and she the smile on your face while you played with him was too, "I can't believe this is happening, but no. We can keep him, just keep him away from my things,"
this is short i am so sorry..... :(

~~Never There~~(Cho Sang-Woo x Reader ANGST)
Tumblr media
~~~Hello loves!! So today I have another anon fic request! This anon wanted some super angsty sad fighting- I actually really love writing angst- It's very fun for me so I was very excited to do this!!! Thank you for allll the love~~~
You had been in a relationship with the one and only Cho Sang-Woo for about 3 years now and were very happy. Nothing was really wrong about the relationship- You both were kind, funny, and very much in love. Literally everything was so perfect and amazing. You really couldn't complain- Well...You could complain about one thing. He was always at work. Korean work was of course long and difficult for him, but even when he did return home he never paid much attention to you. it was a losing battle. You hadn't even had the want to hug each other. Well he didn't have the want. You felt like you were always trying with a brick wall. It was getting to be a tiering attempt every single day. You decided today was the day you were gonna fully confront him about his absence. No backing out this time. Soon the clock hit 11:00 pm. You heard Sang-Woo come in, slamming the door. Uh oh...That was the sign it had been a stressful day. You waited on the couch until he came into the room. You heard his footsteps get closer.
"What the hell are you doing up Y/n? You are usually asleep by now!"
His voice was harsh and mean sounding.
"Uh...I was waiting for you to get home Sang-Woo. We need to talk right now. Please sit down."
"Not a fan of the attitude...I've had a hard day already, don't push it"
"I didn't ask if you were a fan or not. I asked you to sit down"
The mans brows raised at your new and harsh tone. He looked almost angry at you.
"You are being a royal fuckin bitch Y/n- What is your fucking problem with me right now? I just got home. Calm your tits"
"Excuse you?! I wanted to talk to you about how much you don't fucking pay attention to me anymore! You only care about work-"
Sang-Woo immediately cut you off. His face looked beyond pissed.
"I have to fucking work!! I work to take care of your needy ass! You stay at home all damn day doing NOTHING to benefit me or yourself! All you do is whine and depend on me!-"
Tears started to boil at your eyes. Your stomach started to clench almost out of sickness. You couldn't believe what he was saying. Is that how he really felt? The thought of it made you want to sob right then and there.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry I'm that b-b-bad-"
"Oh boo hoo! Now you'll cry because I'm being 'mean'- Mean my ass! I'm calling you out on your stupid bullshit! I'm tired of it!-"
You couldn't hold back the tears anymore. You felt your face scrunch up as tears fall. You didn't know what to say. You felt hurt and completely betrayed. You ran out of the room to go to the guest room. You laid on the bed and sobbed.
When will he understand me...
