People born with Mercury Rx or Mercury in the 12H can find that they have to repeat themselves a lot because what they intentionally communicate is sometimes either completely ignored or overlooked, and in some cases stolen or duplicated; then what they unintentionally communicate can come under intense scrutiny.
You can see this in action with ghostwriters, authors who write all their lives then become famous after a scandal (or death), editors and proofreaders (that can make or break the flow of a book), people who tweet and get 3 likes, but someone else copies it word for word and it goes viral, making them look like the originator, or a throwaway blog post that gets lots of attention vs a meticulously planned newsletter that gets heavily critiqued.
When learning new things, people with these placements may have to revisit the material a few times in alternate ways to help it sink in.
Mercury 12th housers can also sometimes be a little clumsy when walking (e.g. tripping over air) but excellent skateboarders/skaters, dancers etc.
When you see Mercury Rx in a business chart, it isn’t necessarily a bad thing because depending on what else is going on in the chart, it can actually show opportunities for repeated success in the business areas represented by the sign/house/aspects - LinkedIn, Twitter and Tumblr all have Mercury Rx in their founded and/or launching charts.

Mercury contacts + voices
Mercury-Sun = bright voices, can have a cheerfulness or brightness to your voice; you guys sound youthful too, and people tend to like your laugh
Mercury-Moon = soft, nurturing voice, can sound like a parent, this person has the kind of voice or vocal sound that could easily do asmr
Mercury-Venus = pleasing or distinctive voice or tone, can be very persuasive and even; the kind of voice that you'd enjoy hearing stories from
Mercury-Mars = can talk really fast but hardly trips over their words; their voice also doesn't give their age away? Like they sound forever young lol. Also, this is Janet Jackson's placement - she manages to go between light/airy and sultry/ sensual just like that
Mercury-Jupiter = your voice has weight behind it, kinda authoritative - but not quite like with Saturn; like has anyone ever accused you of shouting when you’re actually not? You can sound very matter-of-fact or preachy when you speak
Mercury-Saturn = can sound harsher or more stern than actually intended when speaking - you guys just sound like the boss; added bonus for your silence literally speaking volumes
Mercury-Uranus = somehow your voice doesn't quite match your image? You sound unexpected, might have a tone or a laugh, or certain words that you say that's very distinctive and stands out, even in your own family or amongst your friends
Mercury-Neptune = you guys go a step further from Pluto and just read minds and energy Imfaoooo 😂 your voice can sound veryyyyy ethereal and dreamy, and you can probably do a good voice impression/accent or can pick them up very easily without trying
Mercury-Pluto = powerful voice, easy to mistake suggestive undertones when speaking (either intentionally or unintentionally). Most likely to be able to read undertones in any form of communication (be careful with this)

Astrology thoughts & observations pt. 4
Tumblr media
👾 Anything Mars touches infuses the aspect with desire. With Mercury it's the desire to center your thoughts. With the Sun it's the desire to center the self and the expression that comes with it. With Venus it's the desire to connect and relate.
👾 Procrastination can be seen through the Moon, Jupiter and Neptune. The opposite of procrastination is anticipation (Mercury & Saturn). Mercury and Saturn show anticipation because it’s the energy you get when the outcome you expect is desirable or advantageous to you (like learning or building something).
👾 People are more likely to recognise you as an authority figure (in any situation) when you exhibit the traits and behaviours of the signs on your 10H, MC and Saturn placement (and wherever you have Capricorn on the cusp); you can use this derivatively too = want to be seen as an authority at work (even if you’re not the boss)? 10th place (authority) from the 6H (work) is the 3H, so the way you communicate in work settings should align with whatever sign you have on the 3H for the best outcomes.
👾 Venus-Saturn (harsh aspects) can look like the creation of unnecessary blocks to Venusian things - Saturn and Venus do like each other, but harsher aspects between the two can make ease (Venus) seem more difficult and harder to attain (Saturn) than it actually is. It can also show up as making something really complicated look simple or natural.
👾 9H + its ruler shows how you go about reaching a greater understanding of things. 3H + its ruler shows how you should approach learning it in the first place.
👾 Mercurial signs on or ruling the MC are the conduits of information = delivery (Mercury) of things that serve (Virgo) to inform (Gemini) the public (MC). This is very good when the 12th and 2nd derivative places of Gemini and Virgo are satisfied to avoid disappointment and depletion of resources; eg: it’s good when credit is given (♉︎ + ♋︎) = the seed and the source; it’s good when there is acknowledgement and reciprocity (♌︎ + ♎︎).
👾 Transit Jupiter aspecting your Sun can trigger the inspiration for a change in your life direction and experiences. Same goes if this aspect shows up in your Solar Return chart.
👾 Speaking of Jupiter, it’s important to remember that both faith AND doubt can be beliefs too. Jupiter = perspective.

chrisadew’s astrology thoughts & observations pt. 3
Tumblr media
🧡 The ruler of the 2H can also show where things come naturally to you and how. If the 2H ruler is in the 10H, then it can take time for that particular thing/skill (associated with the energy of the planet) to become second nature. If the 2H ruler is Mars or in the 1H, then the process can be quicker than average. If the 2H ruler is in Pisces or the 12H, you might not even realise it’s become second nature until you have to use the skill. Real “how did I even know how to do that?” energy.
🧡 Lois Rodden said “6H planets gain more credit with use”, and yessssss 🤌🏾 the planets in that house are supposed to be used regularly to be strong. I would extend that to the ruler of the 6H too. Virgo placements know that processes are in place because they want to use them well and become more efficient.
🧡 Success is the attainment of a goal through clear and decisive steps, using whatever you have to hand. That’s why the 10H/MC is Saturns domain. “I want to learn to play an instrument” is a goal. “I want to learn to play the guitar” is definitive. “I’m going to practice chords on my ukulele for 30 minutes a day” is Saturn.
🧡 The 11H is the house of networking from a professional POV, but Venus in the 10H/Venus-MC can also speak to getting ahead with the help of powerful (personal) alliances.
🧡 The 9H as the 12th of the 10H - the bigger you get, the harder the fall - and it doesn’t take much at all. Because once virality/popularity or celebrity is reached, a collective “ideal” is impossible for any individual to maintain on a regular basis (square 6H), plus its generally stressful.
🧡 When a New Moon conjuncts the North Node in your natal chart it can feel like you’ve got a whole new clean slate (Tabula Rasa) and a chance to start afresh. Whatever you choose to do during this time can feel a bit nerve wracking (the North Node = things unfamiliar and uncomfortable to us), but it could also mark a significant transition in moving away from the more negative traits of your South Node, like finally waking up to your own bullshit 😆
🧡 Klarna and all other credit or “buy now pay later” schemes belong to the 8H. When you purchase anything on credit, you accrue interest which must be paid off and so becomes a debt until paid in full. The 8H also shows how much of an attractive investment you are to potential lenders, based on your perceived “net worth” (aka credit scores, earnings (2H) and such).
🧡 People who exhibit high earning potential can typically have a heavy 2H or strong aspects to the 2H ruler.
🧡 Oppositions to your MC ruler can show a tug of war between what you want to do, and what you feel you have to do…maybe out of a sense of obligation/devotion (Neptune, Venus or Jupiter), or responsibility (Sun, Mars, Moon or Saturn). Mercury and Uranus opposite the MC and you may feel the need to diversify your goals, not necessarily sticking to a particular career or interest, or you fall into things at random.

All about the Moon 🌙
When we are faced with a need, our Moon sign shows how we respond to it.
It often happens for us like this =
‘I’m upset - I need comfort / an outlet’
‘I don’t feel safe - I need security’
‘I feel disconnected - I need to feel loved’
And so on.
A Pisces Moon can respond by seeking solitude when upset or leaning on their inner world when they feel unsafe.
A Leo Moon can respond to disconnect by reconnecting to their inner child through play, or by playing a role that allows them to cultivate safety.
Our Moon’s house shows where the response is likely to be felt in our lives.
A 7H Pisces Moon seeking solitude = that response will be felt in their close relationships.
An 11H Leo Moon reconnecting through play = that response will be felt in the groups they are a part of.
The aspects our Moon makes to other placements show what helps (or hinders) our instinctual responses.
A square to the Moon is an external event that forces us to confront this need head on.
A trine to the Moon is the ease with which we respond to this need (for good or bad, as trines can also indicate complacency).
A sextile to the Moon shows the opportunities available to us to meet our need, if we choose to actively engage them.
An opposition to the Moon shows the constant push and pull we have to weather to meet our need.
The transits to our Moon show what can temporarily (personal planets) or permanently/long term (outer/generational planets) modify our responses.
Moon being hit by Pluto? A continuous loop of drastic changes in our needs and responses over time.
Moon being hit by Mars? An acceleration in our responses to our needs for a short period.
So when a New Moon appears, it can expose a need in the house it lands in, regardless of our natal Moon position. It can expose the needs of the planets it aspects in our chart as well.
New Moon in the 8H? Maybe you didn’t realize just how much you’ve been giving, so now you know you need to be the one receiving - and that’s the catalyst for transformation.
New Moon aspecting your Mercury? Maybe you’ve become inspired to finally start keeping a regular journal to track your thoughts and feelings as they pertain to the house the New Moon falls in.
When a Full Moon appears, it can prompt the release of an old ‘need’ that no longer serves us in the house it lands in, or through the planets it touches.
Full Moon in the 12H? Maybe you’ve been escaping into something that’s not good for your mental and it’s time to let it go.
Full Moon aspecting Saturn? Maybe you’ve been taking responsibility for something that’s not even yours, so it’s time to drop it.
Lunar return charts are good for tracking our month ahead, and are especially useful during major lunar events like lunar eclipses and such.
Moon persona charts essentially bring our Moon placement to life, allowing us to observe the deeper nuances within our lunar profiles.

Original tweet: @/starryeyemystic
People with personal 12H placements like me should try to exercise this as much as possible
Example, flipped - as a 12H Mars, if I miss someone what is Mars’ default response? Mars by nature wants to act, take initiative, be direct. In Scorpio at that = intensely, knowing that you could effect long term repercussions in the end.
But in the 12H, Mars also has to be ready to accept (12H tings) that whatever you do may not be received the way you initially intended, but you have to surrender to that (as long as your intentions are good).
Bringing 12H things out into the open stops delusion, confusion and all that dead in its tracks, know this.
I think Tai Bunni said it best when she said 12H people should be the ‘villain’.

Chiron & healing ❤️‍🩹
Tumblr media
Chiron in our charts shows our pain points; the things that have or continue to wound us, but also allow us to heal ourselves and others. With Chiron, the healing never really ends. My original posts are up on my Instagram (@chrisadew) and include videos. Check it out if you feel like it ✨
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Aries: the wound of self
♈️ Wounds =
Issues around independence or taking charge, lack of faith in your ability to lead; excessively impulsive, defensive and selfish tendencies, or constantly serving others before yourself. Seeing yourself through the eyes of others. Fear of following the things that ignite passion in you.
♈️ How to heal =
Start by learning to trust your instincts; take initiative and volunteer to be first sometimes. Act based on your constructive self interests. “I gotta put me first” is valid, because nothing should be at the expense of your well-being. Do things that have nothing to do with anyone else, things that honestly make you happy, light you up and nurture you. Your gift is showing others that harmony starts with being fair to yourself.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Taurus: the wound of loss
♉️ Wounds =
Issues around stability and sensuality, not knowing where you stand or not recognising your value. Fear of not having access to resources or a tangible foundation. Stubbornly holding on to things you’ve outgrown out of a fear of lack.
♉️ How to heal =
Start by fully committing to the things you already have by showing appreciation. Appraise them and be willing to let them go if necessary. Learn to cultivate patience by taking on something that takes time to grow - i.e. making investments into things that you really want. Think about what your value system is or what you want it to be. Think about the things that make you feel worthy, things that require steady growth and accumulation over time. Things that regularly engage and stimulate your senses. Your gift is the ability to create on your own that which was not given to you.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Gemini: the wound of intelligence
♊️ Wounds =
Issues with communicating or expressing your thoughts and knowledge; denying your curiosity or ignoring the facts in favour of 'being right'. Taking life too seriously or entertaining gossip. Fear of being wrong or not being heard.
♊️ How to heal =
Start by writing down or recording your own thoughts and using that to plan out what you want to express. Journaling can be therapeutic too. Practice speaking up and put yourself in places where you feel comfortable raising your voice. Seek out people who respect you and value what it is that you have to say. You can say what’s on your mind! Your gift is showing others how healthy communication opens the door to new ideas and experiences.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Cancer: the wound of family
♋️ Wounds =
Issues around emotional openness, feeling closed off or blocked, like you don’t belong or finding it difficult to connect with those you consider family. Feeling neglected or instinctively responding with excessive self-preservation and hiding your feelings. Fear of truly letting people in.
♋️ How to heal =
Start by learning to sit with your emotions and center them. Write them down to help you process them. Use your favourite memories to put you in a good mood and remind you of what you need to feel nurtured and protected. Make new memories with purpose. Connect with positive influences that make you feel safe enough to be vulnerable and help stabilise your emotional state. Above all, don’t deny your intuition - work with it. Your gift is showing others how to accept the dimensions within moods and feelings without judgement.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Leo: the wound of talent
♌️ Wounds =
Issues around attention or recognition; fear of pride and being seen as self-centered. Being made to feel like you’re not special. Seeking validation in the wrong places.
♌️ How to heal =
Start by figuring out what it is that you’re good at and love to do. Use that to start your own passion project as a way of taking the spotlight and feeding your creativity. Don’t be afraid to show it off, whatever it is. Putting yourself out there builds up your courage! Nobody else can do what you do like you. Your gift is showing others how following your heart brings you strength.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Virgo: the wound of perfection
♍️ Wounds =
Issues surrounding not feeling like you’re good enough; fear of being wrong, inadequate or ineffective. Overly critical (self and others), or paying attention to the wrong things. Putting your dreams on hold to take care of others; overworking yourself.
♍️ How to heal =
Start by releasing the idea of ‘perfection’; whose standards are you living by? It should be yours and nobody else’s. Do the thing that you want to do for you…just do it! The more you do, the more the anxiety around it is released. You are not responsible for the chaos. Pick up what’s yours and yours alone. There’s evidence all around you of how good you already are, don’t discount that, no matter how small, no matter how many times you may have had to reconstruct it. Your gift is showing others how to refine and build on practical wisdom.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Libra: the wound of relationships
♎️ Wounds =
Issues surrounding partnerships, relationships, collaboration or compromise. Giving too much where your needs aren’t being met or excessive self-centeredness. Resisting compromise in extremes, one-sided thinking or misdirected anger and passive aggression. Fear of accepting and honouring your wants and needs.
♎️ How to heal =
Start by acknowledging that while not everything should be done alone, you are your own person and worthy of reciprocity. It’s okay to invite people in and compromise, but before you do - analyse whether it’s a good match for you. There should be no imbalances. Ask for help, work with a partner, but honouring your self-identity also means clearly communicating who’s supposed to be giving what, so that things remain equal and fair. Your gift is showing others that cultivating win-win situations is possible.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Scorpio: the wound of depth
♏️ Wounds =
Issues around intimacy, being vulnerable with others, deep hurts and traumas; secretly taking intense measures against the people in your life to counteract feelings of distrust or holding on to meaningless grudges. Fear of powerlessness.
♏️ How to heal =
Start by asking yourself: what are you afraid of? Acknowledge that true vulnerability has its benefits. Get invested in something that requires an exchange of resources as a way of letting go of what keeps you feeling heavy. Commit to a process that takes time, but produces an outcome that makes you feel powerful in the end; get comfortable with accepting support from others and trusting them. Your gift is showing others that you can transform and develop through focus.
**************************
Healing with chiron in Sagittarius: the wound of belief
♐️ Wounds =
Issues with limiting beliefs, fear of experiences outside your comfort zone, or taking on the truths of others as your own. Being too blunt and relying on logic over your higher mind or faith.
♐️ How to heal =
Start by assessing yourself; what is your truth? What do you believe? Break free from the indoctrination that keeps you stuck. Don’t be afraid to experience new things, environments and new journeys that give you a sense of your truth. Develop your own morals, ideals and philosophies by asking yourself honest questions. Acknowledge alternative perspectives without diminishing your own. Your gift is showing others how to expand beyond what you’ve been taught.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Capricorn: the wound of accomplishment
♑️ Wounds =
Issues with authority, challenge and success; feeling burdened (and resentful) with responsibility. Focusing too much on the past. Feeling like you have to ‘control’ your emotions. Fear of not meeting your potential.
♑️ How to heal =
Start by defining what success looks like to you. Make small goals and take the steps needed to achieve them. Align yourself with people that have the kind of reputation you aspire to, personally and professionally. There’s nothing wrong with letting people take care of you sometimes. Do not mistake taking on the responsibility of others as your purpose. 'Can' does not mean 'should'. Everything doesn’t have to fall on your shoulders alone. Your purpose is your purpose. Your gift is showing others how to keep the promises they make to themselves.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Aquarius: the wound of belonging
♒️ Wounds =
Issues with fitting in and feeling included or accepted. Distancing yourself on purpose or inflated self-importance. Seeking approval in groups that don’t understand you to begin with. Fear of alienation and being seen as ‘weird’.
♒️ How to heal =
Don’t be afraid to do things differently and on your own terms. Start by embracing your quirkiness and people will gravitate towards you. If you’re not feeling represented in the group you’re in, start your own! Seek out others with similar ideologies. The more you experiment, the more confidence has the potential to grow. You have a lot to offer and that doesn’t change based on the opinions of other people. Your gift is showing others what’s possible by being your authentic self.
**************************
Healing with Chiron in Pisces: the wound of trust
♓️ Wounds =
Issues with selflessness, being taken advantage of or feeling misunderstood; not believing your dreams are attainable. Overindulgence in fantasy and escapism as self undoing, avoiding reality; fear of suffering.
♓️ How to heal =
Start by assessing whether what you do in the here and now supports what you want and truly desire. If not, take action on it! Denying your dreams does not serve you. Like Virgo, you are not responsible for everyone or everything. Express yourself through creation; this helps channel what you’re feeling or sensing to make it a tangible reality and avoid feeling disconnected. Trust yourself and surrender; letting go is not giving up. Your gift is showing people that if you can dream it, you can be it.

Composite notes from past connections:
Virgo rising in a composite can show inequality sometimes - one person in the relationship gives more than the other, especially if Mercury or the Sun is afflicted (ruler of the Leo 12H).
Aries on the 8H can show one sided intimacy (consistent mutual exchange is difficult and the source of crisis.
Gemini on the 10H is at risk of talking more than actively doing more.
On the flip side, it's the relationship where those involved work together in tandem, taking turns to serve each other when needed (to disable a potentially chaotic Pisces 7H).
Aquarius 6H, so they work smarter not harder.
Fully recognising the Libra 2H and the values they share, so they each come with their own special offering in the Aries 8H, ready to expand on them in the Taurus 9H.
Building together is a source of joy and protection (Capricorn 5H-Cancer 11H).
The foundation is built on understanding (Sagittarius 4H).

You know what Aries season is great for?
Aries season is for starting again/afresh
It’s great for looking at something in a completely new way and just going for it.
It’s forward movement! I think it was Novi Brown that said Aries (and Mars of course) is the gas in our chart, and that is the perfect analogy.
In Aries season we should all be going to the Aries house in our charts - even if it’s not the sign on the ascendant, Aries is still the first sign of the zodiac.
This house can show us how we could look at the season as a new start, how we could take action that will move us forward.
We have so many things going on in Aries right now that are signalling our attention to just start things:
Aries Chiron = start healing (again)
Aries North Node = just choose a direction and go (even if no one is coming along for the ride)
Aries Sun = what glorious thing will you create that’s just for you?
Aries Mercury = if there’s something that needs to be said…maybe we are the only one that can 🤔 - but! Maybe with the retrograde it’s something we need to say to ourselves/embody first (aka don’t just talk about it, but BE about it)

chrisadew’s astrology thoughts & observations pt. 1
Tumblr media
🖤 Virgo is the sign of critique and skill, so naturally whatever house in your chart has Virgo on it is gonna be the area of life where you use those ever evolving skills to help others, but also where you can nitpick at things, at yourself (stop that pls 👀) and rearrange or attempt to perfect your process. It’s also the area of life that can draw criticism from others.
🖤 When you’re looking at transiting planets, don’t think that because it’s not in the sign your natal planet is in it doesn’t matter! I am a Scorpio rising, so Mars is my natal chart ruler. Every time Mars transits a new sign, it’s gonna be especially significant to me as well as Aries risings. Same goes for Cancer risings with the Moon (changes sign every 2.5 days) etc etc.
🖤 The house with Pluto in it tends to amplify the themes of that house and consistently destroys/renews them. An example of this is people with Pluto in the 11H - your friend groups/communities/associations can drastically evolve over time.
🖤 To give someone credit is a 10H matter, but to leave someone a review is a 9H matter. Business thrives on reviews that build on your reputation - the reviews of the people reflect the business ideals and customer expectations, Jupiter type tings.
🖤 Tbh, you really can see sex in every single house in your chart - not just the 5H and 8H. Same goes for any other signification ever.
🖤 12H Mars people absolutely need an incidental/unstructured physical outlet for pent up energy, aggression and anger. In the 12H, Mars can feel a little bit confused and misdirected sometimes. An outlet can help to ground it and teach you to cut through the fog of Neptune’s domain; it can make your actions more intentional and less erratic.
🖤 The 6H and it’s ruler in your chart speaks to how you deal with and solve problems that arise. Example = if you have the 6H ruler in the 12H and there’s those little itty bitty issues you never seem to notice everyday or just brush off to “do later”? They could for sure bite you in the ass when you least expect it 🫣 the flip side is = you do those things as and when they pop up, and there’s an unexpected payoff down the line.
🖤 Leo risings could potentially do veryyyy well living abroad or away from their birthplace/hometown (their whole sign 12H ruled by the Moon, 5H + 8H ruled by Jupiter, 4H + 9H ruled by Mars, 2H + 11H ruled by Mercury).
🖤 When you satisfy Venus, all the Venusian related things in your life have the potential to change; for example: that's why I see some 8H Venusians come up when they're in genuine, reciprocal relationships (with people that mean something to them, not necessarily romantic) 🥺, the minute that healthy balanced exchange appears, here comes the sense of power, the ability to embrace change and deal with upheaval much better, monies, all the thingsssss 🤩 Same goes for 9H Venusians when they’re on an adventure or studying a subject they really love, or 6H Venusians when they truly enjoy their routine and/or job, they thrive.
🖤 Wherever Neptune is in your chart requires a lil bit of conscious imagination and glamour to charm the themes of that house. Someone with Neptune in the 6H for example could do with a dose of fantasy, magic or spirituality (whatever that looks like for them) in their everyday/work life to make whatever they do feel a bit more worthwhile to them.
🖤 The sign on your 2H (and it’s ruler) can also be representative of how you measure your own self worth and values; it’s your currency and eventually what you will use in trade at the meeting of the 8H (shared resources).
🖤 One thing an Aries 6H is gonna do is figure out a way to cut time on a task. 6H Aries is productivity, but make it ⚡quick ⚡💎
