Okay, so I watched Winx season 4...
....and I am not okay with it!
These are my full notes & thoughts.... aka one big rant👀
Okay so a quick reminder that I watched the German dub of season 4 so if I mention voice actors it's always the German ones. Oh, and I don't consider anything post movie #1 canon. Okay that's it, thank you. Now let's start the rant.
Episode 1:
the opening cringed right in 🙄
all of a sudden Faragonda comes to mind, that there is another stage of transformation - all of a sudden
the Trix picture in the Hall of Enchantments saved my day
Of course, Bloom has to touch everything again (the curtain in front of the wizards' picture was there on purpose, bloom!)
Winxologie doesn't sound arrogant at all, Tecna
Layla thinks dancing is also a class
"The winx are all totally in love with themselves" Clarice yes, you so right
Amaryl is still with the freshmen 🤣
if Bloom had said she hadn't done it, Faragonda would have believed her - poor Alice isn't extra enough yet to be the teacher's pet. Maybe if she is also the princess of a lost kingdom she eventually has the chance to become Faragonda's new favorite
he (Ogron) talks (has the same voice actor as) like cool cake (Codatorta don't ask why I call him cool cake I just do)
Episode 3:
how ruthless the Winx are (again I forgot what they did. probably them totally failing every fkn job)
zombie stuffed animals wtf girls
these animals are so UGLY and not cute
Episode 4:
why are you so shitty with the boyz? They just want to help you??!! Another hint, that skloom is dammed
no seriously the boys are just there being nice, ready to help and the Winx (mainly Bloom) are UGHHHHH YOU DON'T TRUST US
>:((((((((((
Episode 5
why don't you use fairy dust to turn the ass ugly fairy animals back? Rainbow be like: FCK CONTINUITY!
the Winx are the problem, not the specialists (they treat the boys like shit 😭)
Roxy's dad is lol. how can you have such a bad memory? best thing is calling HELIA -> TOBIAS xD
Why is Musa's bear called Pepe? Wasn't there another name? The name is already taken, Rainbow! :(
Episode 6
why this new hairstyle boys? helia looks so stupid. he was the cute, mysterious cool boy and now he is the freak with the bangs
Episode 8
it's no wonder, that Stella wasn't allowed to drive a car on Solaria. i mean it's stella and i don't want to know how high radius' bill was for all the crashed cars 😂
of course everyone can ride a horse now! Didn't bloom say she can't ride a horse in the 2nd movie? fck continuity
at least Musa is allowed to sing alone in this ep! give musa the musical attention she deserves and fck bloom. give the fire girl an instrument and let musa sing, she's the goddamn fairy of music!
nabu and timmy are the only non toxic bfs lmao i love them
Episode 9
Erendor suuuper inconspicuous
you were on Sparx? Sparx? Not Domino? U sure?
i love Erendor's rant. still why can't he rule? does this man need vacation so badly? why is sky even king? sense come out where u hiding
Tumblr media
the bed is minimally exaggerated
Episode 10
Roxy be like: I'm not like you, Bloom. I don't want to be special. lemme be a normal earth girl and chill. no need to make me a PRINCESS IN THE FUTURE *cough*
you're listening to the police radio, Tecna? ok how criminal of you lmao
not Musa being a toxic bitch again. that's why i ship driven
Tumblr media
Stella x Musa (even though musa is wrong but this cute. i love when they are sweet with each other. in s1 and s2 they had their problems but since s3 they're such besties)
Episode 11
musa, jason is your producer, not your boyfriend
➡ nothing against age gaps but he is clearly interested in her because she has talent, not because she has boobs
➡ and wTf you HAVE a boyfriend, musa! poor riven, my boi 😭
nabu x layla!!!!! (i will say it again and again, they built them up to destroy them and that is unnecessary drama! 😭
Episode 14
yes musa, short hair does suit you better
➡ also stella saying that long hair is the best thing ever is pretty rude against tecna? but hey, she's cool with it: stella: hair is the most effective weapon of seduction a girl has - Tecna: oh really, i though it was the brain - burrrrrn (in the German dub it's even meaner of stella because she explicitly says LONG hair is the most effective weapon a girl has)
Bloom didn't want to be a fairy at first like Roxy?? gurl, you were totally into it! it was you stupid dream after all
if stella had seen brandon being nice to a girl she's be mad? Ehm, they used to make a game out of who flirts with more people. real stella would chill, s4 stella would explode
yes riven, you just don't have a relationship base this season makes it more obvious than ever
and the animals just stay free in the city? ok...
Episode 15
YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM, MUSA! don't act as if HE was the problem🤯
Also do we see Mitzi as a fairy ever again? no? ok
Episode 16
oh brilliant Faragonda can't solve the mystery of the white circle? loser
who said that Bloom is the one singing? who is the music fairy? i think it's not her for sure!?
WHY DOES BLOOM SING?!
Poor Riven bb
yes Riven, change yourself completely, then everything will be fine. i mean rivusa shipping aside, it's never good to change yourself for another person. musa fcks up just as much as he does. maybe they just have to face that they don't work together? never ever try to become someone you are not. if a person wants YOU to change, better question the relationship with that person
➡ ngl rainbow could have written them better. it's a mystery why they don't make them break up before s7. it's simply not working
bloom has to address twice that she is a clever fairy to sky in case he forgets
➡ WHO HAS TO CALL ONESELF CLEVER AGAIN AND AGAIN MIGHT BE NOT SO CLEVER IRL I DON'T MAKE THE RULES
Episode 17
Tir Nan Og is near Ireland BUT it's a tropical island. makes sense
ehm is it just me or does Morgana looks exactly like the mermaid queen of andros' whose name i forgot?
Tumblr media
hm not even that much. maybe it's the shape of their faces
Episode 18
Roxy is veeeeery emotional
brandon, don't say "you act like ex-lovers", that's very mean
you have been arguing a lot lately, musa? You argue ALL THE TIME!
Episode 19
essential oils or essential fairies? 🤣 why? i can't take them serious with that name. it sounds like "This is eucalyptus, this is peppermint, and this is lavender"🤣
do they build up nabu x layla so lovely, so that the end is even more tragic?? fck you rainbow
Tumblr media
not stella patting the snake 🐍🤣 i love how she is not AHHHHH :0 but t AWWWWWW >.<
Episode 21
Tumblr media
not musa kissing andy in fkn front of riven!!!
since when has it been the winx's dream to become musicians? since yesterday? ok
ogron, you serious? Don't give them the black circle
not musa worrying they'll be late for their show. i mean girls, it's the world that has to be saved again. fck your damn gig
not the German dub putting the cherry on top again with giving us some extra lines when in the original is just a "huh" when the winx discover sybilla's pan fairy minions:
Tumblr media
➡ bloom: cute *v* - stella: ..you really think so? (same girl)
bloom: we have the gIfT oF hEaRt!! Stella: the power of prudence would be a more suiteable one - omg stella slay
riven sings.. he really sings. that proves again which's bf he is
no but seriously it's so nice that the boys want to play out time to make sure the winx will have their performance too later
➡ musa: YOU WANT TO STEAL US OUR SUCCESS!!!! >:(((((( JKLDFHIDHFSFHK they made it to guarantee that YOU can still perform!
Episode preview: The Winx….and Roxy
➡ as much as you try Roxy, you'll never be a Winx 😂
Episode 22
Tecna...
Tumblr media
....who put you in that dress???
the wizards are all 4 my boyz and i love them
Episode 23
bloom isn't thinking at all again EWEWEW I WilL fIgHt YoU! Yes, go on. Fight against the fairy of WAR. you sure got good chances. and why she alone? why of all things HER?
nebula: you will pay for your arrogance ➡️ Yes girl
Aurora be like: worried…but for my ice tower!
➡️ love it how she gives no fcks about nebula but is only worried about her home
is it that simple? Roxy just gotta say please please and Morgana is aw okay I won't go on with the war against the humans
black gift: ah good, you can prevent a death, well you certainly won't act in haste i'm sure (spoiler: in the end it's not their fault at all and that is really a plot twist. i already saw bloom saving some stranger just to waste the gift so that nabu has to die. but it's not that case. idk how to feel about it. yaay fairies you did your best?)
Episode 24
Totally normal that a rabbit pays for pizza. wtf Gardenia you all high there?
layla speculating about the future 😭
nebula that ol' bitch was always the fairy of peace - now of war WAHAHA i think that's kinda neat. also nebula is a queen
until he (nabu) awakens?? Isn't he quite dead?
ok he is completely dead. then don't spoil us with little hints of hope that he might open his eyes again ok?
bloom: too baaaaad......not that i could use my dragon flame healing bring ppl bak to live powers on him nooo *whistle*
Episode 25
Layla is now eViL
do these tragic flashbacks have to be???😭😭
Red Fountain?? wtf German dub, it was always Rote Fontäne!, duuuh
another tragic flashback 😭
hard cut and at the end enchantix again? which animator was sloppy here?
nebula is such a queen
layla badass
secret revealed: morgana is roxy's mom - yes come on we ALL saw that coming
we give a fck about continuity again and act as if it wasn't centuries ago that the fairies were defeated at earth WTF. how is it even possibible that morgana was with claus?? sense, wherever you are, COME OUT
Episode 26
to name an episode without ice & fire without having ICY in it, is mean tho
one could have made nebula's and layla's change of mind more exciting
➡️ it was like: Oh, OH we're GOOD again! <3
nebula the real queen and she got what she deserved, i love that
Overall:
yeh this season is so cringe, okay? i watched 26 episodes and i feel like nothing really happened? the plot was so lame and slow. i mean, look what happens in s1-s3 in all the episodes. there was so much more going on. it was just relationship drama and unncecessary i gotta say. if they have to write rivusa so toxic then why don't they simply break them up and give them a harmonic ending? maybe being friends is better for them? also no fan of musa becoming a girly bitch with long hair. give me back my tomboy. i have to say too: a season without the trix is no real season even though the wizards are cool. also faragona is so useless let's don't talk about that. and the winx were teachers for ONE episode and after that they are like: meh no we live now our ugly love and pet life in gardenia. the pets, the PETS. i HATE them. they are so ugly. I mean the pixies had a plot they had to fulfill. they had a SENSE in the winx universe. the pets are just ...ugh. not cute. Then Roxy: my opinion on her: she's a bit over dramatic but fine i guess? still wonder why her wings are so big if she is no believix fairy. nebula, diana and aurora were really cool but come on, we did not really need this season. then the criticism that everyone has: wtf with the second movie. where does it take place? why is nabu alive? why do they have their beliviex? it's just that this season was rushed and the plot was meh. and i know it gets worse so let's face it. winx ended after the first movie and this is an ass ugly boring and lame written ff au.
And yes, I will go on with the detailed comments on s1. these notes here were just randomly taken on my phone and i felt the need to share them.

Can you do number 2 for Tecmy? I totally see it happening
Tecmy #2: They end the phone call with an accidental ''love you'', leaving you flustered
He didn’t know why he’d called her. They had just gotten back from their date, but Timmy missed the sound of Tecna’s voice already. She sounded confused when she picked up, but they soon fell into their regular rhythm. A game was chosen, and phones were switched for headsets.
Tecna destroyed him, just like she did at every game they played, and he was fine with that. Brandon teased him about constantly losing to his girlfriend, but Timmy couldn’t care less. The teasing became nothing when Tecna was his girlfriend; when he remembered that the most brilliant, beautiful woman to walk the dimension had chosen him.
They played three rounds, which was about two more than they should have given that he’d gotten in close to ten and each round took an hour to an hour and a half to complete. Tecna would have tomorrow morning to sleep in – not that she ever did – but Timmy would have to be up at 6 am for Codatorta’s morning workout – mandatory for all fourth year Red Fountain students and absolutely killer. He told her he should get some sleep and she wished him goodnight, but then he thought of something he’d completely forgotten to tell her and somehow they’d ended up talking for another half hour.
“You need to sleep, Timmy” Tecna reminded him after the third oh, and.
“I know...” he sighed. “Goodnight Tecna.”
Timmy started signing off and getting ready to shut down his system when the words came through.
“Goodnight. I love you.”
Timmy’s hand hovered over the power button, but he’d already pressed it and, before he could fully register her words, the connection was gone. Had she... She said... No? Yes? She said she loved him? He imagined it. He was tired. Tecna wouldn’t...
He called her. He needed confirmation that he wasn’t losing his mind. She declined the call. Tecna always answered his calls regardless of what time it was or what she was doing or what he was supposed to be doing (like sleeping); she always answered. That meant...
She’d said it.
She loved him?
She loved him.
Timmy sat on his bedroom floor for close to forty minutes replaying the words over and over again. She loved him. He couldn’t believe it. She loved him. A smile spread across his face. Tecna loved him. Goofball, awkward, nerdy him. Gods, he really couldn’t believe it. He was so lucky.
How was he going to act the next time he saw her or spoke to her? He was going to do something stupid. He always did something stupid at times like this. She would say hello and his brain would turn to a giant pile of mush remembering that she loved him, and then she wouldn’t love him anymore. How was he going to handle this?
And then a thought came to him...
How was Tecna handling this? Tecna, who had had to watch him almost get murdered by the trix in The Wildlands to come to terms with her crush on him. Tecna, who, after they’d rescued her from the Omega Dimension, had quietly thanked him for not giving up, hugged him and requested that he sit silently with her because it was too much for her to handle. Tecna, who, up until this past year, never admitted to her friends that she cared for them (they already knew that though).
It had started raining some time in the last four hours. Timmy only realised that once he was riding his bike down the road that connected Alfea and Red Fountain. He hadn’t taken a helmet. There was no time to find one.
He reached Alfea in record time, parking his bike just beyond its gates. He crossed the grounds of the school and climbed the tree Flora had grown outside the girls balcony in record time. Riven would be proud, Timmy thought as he climbed over the railing to their balcony. Riven would be even prouder of him for how smoothly he picked the door to the girls’ suite. (Never waste an opportunity for knowledge his father had always said, though Timmy was sure that Riven’s borderline criminal knowledge wasn’t what his dad had had in mind).
“Timmy?” Musa whispered as she opened hers and Tecna’s door. “What the fuck are you doing here?”
“I need to see Tecna” he replied. “It’s important.”
“She’s sleeping.”
“Yeah dude, it’s like three A.M” Riven stage whispered from behind the singer. The magenta-haired specialist came up behind his girlfriend and, in a rare sweet moment, wrapped his arm around her waist and kissed the top of her head.
“Please” Timmy begged. He was dripping wet, exhausted and desperate. He would fight both of them to get to Tecna if he needed to.
“Musa? What’s going on?” Tecna’s groggy voice came from behind the door. Timmy stood at attention at the sound. The singer leaned back, informing Tecna that he was at the door.
“Oh.” Tecna’s voice sounded cautious. He definitely hadn’t imagined it. She would never be so unsure of his presence if she didn’t have a reason to panic. “Let him in.”
Musa stepped back, ushering him into the room. A light by Tecna’s bed had been turned on and the fairy – his girlfriend – sat up, gripping the edge of her blanket tightly with a blank expression. He headed towards her, blind to the rest of the room. Part of him wanted to blurt out the purpose of his visit, but this was Tecna and she wouldn’t handle that well, so he approached her quietly and, thinking better of sitting on her bed in his wet pants, pulled her computer chair over to the bed.
“Could we have the room?” Tecna requested quietly.
“Sure.”
“It’s the middle of the night.”
“Riven, shut the fuck up. This isn’t even your room” Musa snapped back. Timmy turned his eyes towards the couple just in time to see her grab his upper arm and yank him off the bed. “Come on” she demanded. Riven made a sound that Timmy was pretty certain was a laugh, then stood up and followed behind her without further complaint, closing the door as he went.
“Tecna, I-”
“You heard, didn’t you?”
“I... yeah. I heard.”
“I’m sorry.”
“Sorry?” he questioned. What could she possibly have to be sorry for? She had made his night; his day; his week; his year; maybe even his life. He leaned forward and adjusted his glasses. There were still water drops on the lenses, but he looked past them. Tecna made herself smaller on the bed. She’d stopped fiddling with the blanket.
“It slipped out. I was thinking about how you kept finding reasons to stay up with me and how you always find reasons to stay up with me, and then I started thinking about you and just... everything that you are and how great you are and I guess I just... I understand if it... I don’t know...”
He understood. She thought she had messed up. His heart broke at her uncertainty and belief that her words could freak him out.
“Tecna, I love you.” He moved the chair as close to the bed as possible and reached over to take her hands in his. Tecna – his Tecna who hated physical contact – gripped his hands tightly. He watched in pure ecstasy as her expression shifted from uncertainty to confusion to happiness. The smile on her face could light the whole of Magix, and succeeded in filling him with even more love than he thought possible. “I have loved you since the very beginning. I can’t even begin to put into words how incredible I think you are and how much I love you.”
Any other words were lost as Tecna threw herself into his arms almost knocking him out of the chair. He held her tight, kissing her shoulders and the side of her face – any part of her he could reach. They stayed like that, awkwardly intertwined and blissfully uncaring, for a few more minutes in silence.
She insisted he stay. When he pointed out that he was wearing wet clothes, she found one of Musa’s baggy shirts from their closet and Riven’s sweats on the floor for him. Once he was changed, he crawled into bed with her. He didn’t dare get too close because this was still Tecna, but she cuddled right up to him. He wrapped his arms around her and that was how Musa and Riven found them when, likely frustrated from being kicked out of the room for so long, they came back an hour later: Tecna, fast asleep and drooling on Timmy’s chest, and Timmy, wide awake with his cheek resting on top of her head because he couldn’t sleep. Why would he want to when the best moment of his life was right now?

Who are your OCs? Could you introduce them a little? (i am not familiar with winx)
Wanna know the best part about drawing my own OCs? I have a list of them ready anytime. I will link the posts with the corresponding drawings.
Roughly by order of appearance:
Cassandra, fairy of celestial bodies: my winxsona, despite the title she is actually both a fairy and a witch. This ability to use both magic polarities is called magic bipolarism (more on this headcanon here). Just a version of me who speaks her mind more than I do, although I was very careful with what I actually wrote down. If you wanna look for me in my fanfic, she is not the real vessel.
There's also the winxsonas of my high school friend group, though a good chunk of it fell apart way before I finished writing the story. Some hard feelings made it to the page, but not all. Sadly I wasn’t able to coherently kick one of them out of the story and had to keep her till the end.
Aire of Magix, witch of time: she is co-owned with a friend of mine, and some of her first appearances are co-written as well (hence the shift in tone in some parts). She starts off as a freshman in Cloudtower, school for witches, she's impulsive and eager to prove herself and go on cool adventures.
Laverna, witch of ghosts: she exists because I wanted a minor annoyance for Aire. Your classic mean, bossy witch, with a nod to the Roman goddess of thieves she is named after for the little trial she imposes on Aire.
Henna of Zenith, witch of maps: along with Laverna and Yami, she shares the Cloudtower apartment with Aire. She's very unserious and her moral compass is basically whatever sounds entertaining for her. Her powers are a valuable strategic asset.
Yami, witch of natural disasters: she likes to present herself as calm and innocent when she can be quite mischevious. She does have a stronger sense of limit than her roommates (she is 60% of Henna's impulse control), and generally wants to avoid trouble if it can harm her or get out of hand.
Walter of Linphea: advanced class Specialist (student of Red Fountain, school for knights and mages), he has some form of magic but he isn't interested in it and never cultivated his powers. Hopeless romantic, he thinks critically and can make solid impressions of any teacher. Absolute Darcy simp.
Vanir: captain of Walter's Specialist team, he is a background character in winx's season one and I liked his design enough. Also his wolverine gauntlets are cool. He is pretty outgoing and cares about the safety of his teammates above all.
Takeshi: computer guy of Walter's team, insecure and a bit of a scaredy cat. To say he prefers behind the scenes jobs is an understatement.
Misha: the last element of Walter's team, tall, quiet and strong. I didn't really do much with him, not much to say.
Alec of Magix: third year Specialist, nephew of Codatorta (teacher at Red Fountain), a pretty vain boy who has no problem with dating around without putting in any work. Until a first year witch tells him off and he is shocked to find out that he'd do anything to impress her, actually. (Also co-written with Aire's owner, the first part of his arc is her doing).
He also has a team but they appear once to joke around with him about his date so...
Xavier: an old mage and famous professor, expert on magical artefacts and always busy in some new research he got a sudden interest in. Not the most social person, most of his colleagues dislike him due to his absolute lack of diplomacy, but he is right more often than not. He grumbles a lot but will help if asked.
Donnie of Whisperia, mage of metals: Stormy's little brother, Xavier's apprentice. He has a very sweet personality and desperately wants to reconnect with his sister and her friends.
Andrea, fairy of alchemy: based off a dear friend of mine, also a pupil of Xavier. She wants to advance her magic but without having to enroll in a magic school, so she stays with professor Xavier and in return she helps him study fairy forms. She's pretty sassy and direct, but unlike her mentor she knows when to hold her tongue.
There's a bunch of random characters for a parallel universe the cast briefly ends up in in the fanfic, but everything relevant about them is too closely knitted to the story to make sense out of context.
Nixie of Whisperia, fairy of thought: a third year student in Alfea, she only appears in a spin-off chapter so far but I really like her design. Her middle and ring fingers are fused together on both hands.
Harkan of Whisperia: Darcy's dad, doesn't resent his daughter at all, actually he feels guilty for not intervening when she cut them off.
Elle of Domino: Darcy's mom, same as her husband, with the extra of feeling responsible for Icy's troubles too because of her friendship with her mother Sitara.
Egan of Whisperia: Stormy and Donnie's dad, absolutely identical to both children except that he's short and they are not. Owns a restaurant.
Ambra of Whisperia: Stormy and Donnie's mom, works in the restaurant as well. When Stormy cut them off she focused on Donnie, like Egan did, while still keeping the door open in case Stormy wished to return.
Icy's dad: deadbeat who literally first saw his daughter 23 years after her birth. She wants nothing to do with him.
Mocca: Icy's coworker at the Magix disco, best wingman ever, loves to joke around with Icy and tease her. He knows he can afford it because she actually likes hanging out with him and won't freeze him off. Not for long anyway.
Robin: Mocca's boyfriend, isn't around much to tell the truth. His most interesting trait is his visor, a special device that helps him see colors.
Manuel of Earth: oh look, a male Earth fairy!! Long story short Earth was magicless for centuries due to canon events that involved cutting the wings of all fairies and apparently leaving only some female fairies alive on an island where they never aged, but the winx brought magic back and that... was never talked about again. Manuel is one of the people who developed magic without any guidance and had to learn on his own, until he went to a concert...
Dave of Magix, mage of smoke and fog: MY BELOVED- ahem. I need to pretend I don't have favorites. Certified Icy simp, loves to make her flustered and joke around with her, but also very good at advice. He's easy-going, flirty, has enough self-esteem to make up for the lack of it his partners sometimes experience. Very caring, he can speak five languages and works as a translator. He may not be much of a fighter but he can stand his ground.
Nadia, Alohi, Olivia, Viveca: some of Icy's freshmen students when she starts teaching at Cloudtower. Their drawing is still a work in progress but I can tell you I love their designs very much and I am very sad I don't have stories to write for them.
Daria of Solaria, witch of gravity: another one of Icy's students and later on her colleague, @dariaslore's winxsona. We have the best time imagining this fancy witch who can't go a day without a walk in the sun confuse the entire school. Her classmates think she'd be better off as a fairy (she would not), her teachers wonder how the hell she gets good grades when she's at school only during class and is at the Lake sunbathing every single day (she studies on the Lake's shore or directly on a boat in the middle of it). Super fan of princess Stella, of course, very into fashion, puts great care in her workout routine.
Then there's a lot of second generation characters who have no drawing or story (well, most of them) yet, so I'll keep them for myself for a while more :)

5 times Brandon wanted to tell her and the one where she found out
1-
He'd quite literally knocked her off her feet, by accident of course, he'd been standing in the middle of the pavement and she'd been walking on the high she always got from shopping and they collided, or she ran into him.
"HEY!" She shouted.
He almost immediately turned around, keen to help her and it was as though something had struck him still. He'd never seen someone so beautiful. She had an almost ethereal glow to her and not just the kind of glow all magical creatures had. Her hair was a yellowish blonde that was incredibly long, and her eyes were amber, he wished he would have the opportunity to stare at those eyes another time. He was snapped out of this trance from her getting onto her knees and scrambling to put all her dropped items into her bags.
"I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there," he'd said, she had looked up at him and her eyes softened from their hardened glaze to something much more mellow.
"No, I'm sorry, I should have been looking where I was going," She'd smiled, a rosy tint decorating her cheeks, as she stood up, "I'm Princess Stella of Solaria, I'm going to be attending Alfea, soon enough."
He had picked up her spare hand, as gently as he could have, and kissed the back of her hand, "And I am, Br-"
"And he is Prince Sky of Eraklyon!" A voice he'd known for a long time interrupted.
He'd shot up in realisation, "Yes! This is my good Squire, Brandon!"
Stella had looked up to meet his eyes, slightly concerned for his erratic behaviour, before she seemed to dismiss it. Stella giggled and said with a wave, "Well I hope to see you both, Prince Sky and 'Good' Squire Brandon."
'Brandon' had then hit him at the back of his head, looking up to him to then say, "When has anyone referred to their squire as 'Good'? You were lucky I was around, Prince."
'Sky' hadn't responded, looking longingly at the Princess's now distant form, wondering whether they'd meet again, whether he'd ever be able to introduce himself as the 'Good' Squire Brandon, to the radiant Princess herself.
2-
The next time he saw her was soon after school had begun, it was at The Annual Gala between Red Fountain and Alfea. There would be a gift exchange, he'd hope that he would have been able to give her the gift whatever it was to be.
Brandon had taken a liking to the school, even if it had only been a few days since the school year had begun, his only trouble with said school was the fact that Professor Codatorta had taken a dislike to him already (he had a sneaking suspicion it was due to his status of a Prince). He'd taken a liking to his other roommate (aside from Sky, the real Sky,), his name was Timmy perhaps a bit on the nerdy side, but was here on a scholarship due to his skills shown in tactician.
He, Timmy and Sky were all also attending the gala together, and none of the three looked particularly happy in the more sophisticated outfits they'd been required to wear. (Brandon had to wear an ascot, he was convinced he looked like a stuffy old man, how was he supposed to create a good impression on anyone, let alone a princess, in an ascot?)
As they'd arrived in their new group ship. Brandon was still continuously fiddling with his ascot, before Sky had gone straight up to him and just fiddled with the ascot until he had decided it was suitable for the 'Prince'.
"I don't understand why we can't just wear our RF uniforms?" Brandon grumbled.
"To make a good impression?" Timmy suggested.
Sky smirked, "Yeah, Sky, don't you have a certain Princess you want to impress?"
"Shut up, Brandon!"
A couple hours had passed, meaning the gift ceremony had too. The gift ceremony had failed completely, the beautiful flowers intended for the fairies, changed from the heat producing beauties, to shrivelled plants that weren't even flowers. He hadn't even got the chance to see the beautiful Princess, setting him on edge.
Brandon then decided to head over to the drink station, rather than continuing to stand around as though he was a mopey moron.
"AH!"
Instead of letting the person fall (like he'd done previously), he managed to bend down to catch the person by the waist. He noticed it was Stella and propped her upright before he said, "Hello, Princess."
Stella's eyes flashed in recognition of Brandon and she replied, with a gentle smirk, "Hello, Prince, I think we have got to stop meeting each other like this."
He let out a surprised chuckle, letting go of tension he didn't know he was holding, he picked up her dainty hand, bending down to lay a gentle kiss on her hand. He then said, "Why don't you allow this prince to make it up to you?"
"Alright if you insist."
They walked together, heading over to the buffet that was now destroyed (courtesy of the witches). Brandon looked at her dress, it was a dark green figure hugging thing, that sparkled under the moonlight and suited her wonderfully.
They started talking, she had very similar ways of speaking about things at the palace to Sky. He felt guilty, he wanted to tell her the truth, to talk about his family the same way she talked about her own parents (even if there was a melancholic undertone to her words of love).
Brandon wanted to speak of his real family, how although they didn't have much there was still so much love in the household, no matter how much his younger sister annoyed him.
Instead he said, "Yeah, my family has an alright relationship. We don't always get to spend time together, but when we do it's alright."
She pressed no further (luckily), probably sensing his discomfort and smiled at him, giving his arm a comforting rub. She then started looking around wildly, before Brandon saw her run back to the buffet.
Brandon heard Sky shout, "Come on, Sky, time to go!"
He looked to find Stella, but she'd disappeared. He slowly trudged towards where Sky was, so they could make their leave with Timmy.
"Wait!"
He turned around, seeing Stella looking up to him.
"Princess?"
"Here you go, so you don't have to knock me off my feet again to meet me," She laughed, before reaching up on her toes to kiss his cheek, "Goodbye, Prince Sky and goodbye Brandon!"
He watched her walk off, he'd never wanted to date someone more in his life.
3-
Stella had arranged for them to meet outside school, not a date, but it would still be just the two of them (for once). It had become a common occurrence for his two roommates to tag along, much to his displeasure. But she'd specified just Sky, and who were any of them to deny their princess friend Brandon's wonderful company. Brandon wanted to look better than he usually did, perhaps this was Stella's way of hinting soon enough they'd be going on a date (he hoped).
It was at the local park of Magix, an odd choice, he thought, especially for Stella, but he wasn't going to complain (it was a beautiful park, far different to the technologically advanced city it was located in).
Just before setting out, he gave himself a quick once over, adjusting his hair, and straightening his (stupid) ascot, before leaving the dorm, and then Red Fountain, to head towards Stella.
When he eventually got towards the park and entered its grounds, he saw Stella sitting on a bench under an oak tree, though she still looked beautiful to him, she looked deflated.
"Stella? Are you alright? What's happened?" He asked, as he joined her on the bench.
Her lip quivered, and then she burst out into tears, "Oh, Sky!"
"Come here," he said, pulling her into a hug, where she then rested her head on his shoulder, "What happened? You can tell me."
She struggled to let out a fully cohesive sentence, her tears not allowing her to.
He just rubbed her shoulders, as he whispered words of comfort to her, "It's okay, let it all out, I'm here, I'm not going anywhere."
She let out a final breath and looked at him to make eye contact, tears still present in his eyes, "I've been expelled. I accidentally blew up the potions lab, but I don't know how. I was doing the final test, and then everything went black, and then the explosion happened. But they don't believe me. Even my parents don't."
"Sweetheart," Brandon said, unsure of what he could say.
"I don't know what I'm going to do, I don't want to go back home, I don't want to leave you, and Brandon and Timmy," Stella continued.
He didn't know what to say, all he could think of was how he was going to miss her, and how he never wants to hurt her as bad as she was feeling now, but he couldn't help but feel as though that was inevitable.
He ignored those feelings and just held her, hoping to provide the comfort she deserved.
4-
He and Sky had just arrived back on Magix after the break between years, and he'd never been happier. Every place was better than Eraklyon, but especially Magix (especially Red Fountain). The only thing he wasn't exactly keen on was his new roommate (well newest). Riven was a talented specialist, but he was arrogant and brash, but most annoying argued with the real Sky more often than not, which led to some tense situations near the end of the year.
Brandon's mood only improved as he then got a call from his favourite princess (who was also returning to Alfea to repeat a year).
"Oh, I'm so excited to see you so soon, it's been awful just texting you," she said, glee evident in her tone.
"As am I, my princess," He replied, over the time she'd not been on Magix, he'd come to the realisation how much easier it was to flirt over the phone.
"Well, I better get going, see you soon, Sky!"
"Yes, see you soon, Stella!"
"Ugh, not a full year of your two's flirting," Sky said, in response to the phone call.
"I don't know, maybe you'll find someone to woo!" He said, before adding, "Someone you can actually tolerate."
"Do not mention her," Sky warned.
"Who? I didn't mention anyone," He replied with a grin.
"Oooooh, who can't the Squire stand?" Riven asked, entering their dorm.
"Nobody!" They both exclaimed.
"Ugh."
"That's a surprise, you're here earlier than Timmy," Sky said.
"Not really, I do live in Magix."
"Plus, he's not that much earlier than me," Timmy said, everyone waved their hellos, and surprisingly a civil conversation ensued.
That was until Brandon's phone rang.
"Stella?"
"Help, on Earth, can't really talk, being attacked by ogre and troll. HURRY!" She replied, in a state of panic.
"So, who wants to save a Princess?"
The other three groaned.
They'd arrived on Earth not long after, defeated the troll and met a new fairy, who was surprisingly from Earth. The ogre, unfortunately, had escaped.
As Stella introduced him to the girl, Bloom, he couldn't help but notice that while he still felt guilt and uneasiness, when he was introduced as 'Sky', it was more toned down then before, it was almost as though he was becoming more and more numb to it.
Still even if he was becoming numb to it, he still longed to tell her, to finally be able to be honest with his Princess.
Maybe one day: he hoped.
5-
It was The Day of the Rose. He couldn't spend it with his family, much to his displeasure, due to Sky wanting to avoid his family (he couldn't exactly blame him), but he could spend it with Stella.
"You know, Brandon, I heard Bloom was staying too, want to see whether Stella can drag Bloom along to the festival?" He asked, with a waggle of his eyebrows.
"Shut up, dude!"
"Too late," He replied, with a laugh, showing his phone.
"SKY!"
"What are you two losers shouting about?" Riven interrupted, rubbing his eyes.
"Brandon's got a date with Bloom," Brandon sung.
"No, I do not, we are just going to be third wheels to you and Stella!"
"Anyways, what are you doing Riven?" Brandon asked, ignoring Sky's tirade.
"I was just going to stay here," Riven replied, grumpily.
"Why not come with us to the festival? Enter the race? Actually have some fun rather than mope around in your room all day? It'll be fun," he said, trying to convince Riven.
While he couldn't stand the guy sometimes, it would benefit them, they could actually enter in the race (it was a minimum of three members to participate), which could lead to him impressing a certain princess.
At the mention of a race, it didn't take much more convincing.
They headed out to Magix City around midday, meeting with Bloom and Stella.
"A rose for you, madame," he said, as they met, offering her a rose, he'd caught.
The city was beautiful, decorated for the day, for the 'Biggest Festival of the Year', although Brandon doubted it was, as every festival here was described and promoted as such.
As a group they walked down the crowded streets of the city, he and Stella in front, Sky and Bloom not far behind, but Riven was a noticeable distance away from the group. Brandon couldn't help but smirk to himself, while placing his hand on Stella's waist, he leaned over to Sky and loudly whispered, "You know, I think I know why Riven is in such a foul mood."
"Oh yeah, why is that Sky?"
"Well, you see, you have Bloom's support for the race, I have Stella's, but well I don't see where Riven's supporter is, do you?" Brandon said, looking around almost mockingly.
Then, everything escalated from there onwards. Bloom chucked water down Riven, Riven fell of his bike and then Riven claimed that he would leave their squad.
So all things considered, Brandon hadn't thought it had been a bad day, and at least now he had a ball to look forward to, or more specifically a dance with Stella.
They'd all headed to their respective dorms to prepare for it. Sky assisted him with his outfit, (he finally got to be rid of that awful ascot!) while Brandon offered help in getting Sky's hair to a more presentable away from the way it had ended up due to the race. After they both were suitable (and approved) they headed to the City Centre, where they were to meet the girls again.
The City Centre was beautifully decorated, a rose theme was present throughout (which made sense) the area, with reds, deep pinks, and dark greens being the main colours of the Centre. There were also dancers, a band and many buffets, everybody looked joyful and it wasn't a surprise.
"Well, you sure clean up nice," He heard.
"Stella!" He couldn't help but shout, turning around to pick her up in an embrace to spin her around. Brandon heard her laughs at the act and he couldn't help but join in.
"Brandon, put me down! You're going to ruin my dress, hair and makeup!" She giggled, but there was a hint of seriousness to her statements, so he put her down and looked her, he felt his jaw drop and be pushed shut by Sky, who he saw lean over.
She wore a dark blue figure hugging dress, that shimmered under the lights.
"You look, you look radiant, my princess."
"Why, thank you, my prince, but I have reason to believe you owe me a dance," Stella said, beaming up at him, while she was rubbing his arms.
"Of course. Shall we?" Brandon bowed, picking her hand up.
"We shall," she smiled, before dragging him onto the dance floor.
They were on there for hours, neither wanting to leave and neither getting tired.
"Prince Sky, don't you think we should be making our leave soon?" Sky asked, though it sounded more like an order.
"Okay, give me a moment though," He responded, before turning to Stella, "Come on, Stell, I need to ask you something."
She agreed, so he led her just to the outskirts of where the dance was held.
"So, what do you want to ask me?" Stella asked, looking up expectantly at him.
"Can I take you out on a date please? After the Specialist showcase in a few weeks?" He asked.
"YES!" Stella shouted, giving him a forceful hug, causing him to stumble slightly.
He wanted to tell her, and he was going to but he couldn't tonight. He'd do it on their date, he'd plan what he was to say and prepare for the anger, sadness and betrayal she would no doubt feel.
No matter what he was going to do it, nothing would be able to stop him.
+1
The Showcase seemed to have started off alright, he'd thought all had gone well during his sections, he did wish that Stella could have come, but tickets were limited and well his 'father' was supposed to be here and that would ruin his plans of how he'd tell her later on their date.
But then Diaspro and Bloom, had come out of nowhere and started fighting in the sky, fully transformed, which alongside Riven and Sky pitting their dragons against each other caused utter chaos. As he took in how it looked, he couldn't help but think about how unhappy his King would no doubt be.
This was confirmed by the King's shout, "SQUIRE!"
He ran over as fast as he could, lowering himself on his knees, "My Lord."
The King growled, "Where were you when my son needed help? You have neglected his safety. You are incompetent. I take my leave of you."
He stormed off, leaving Brandon confused, what could have been done?
He turned around, yet again, to drink in the chaos. He saw Diaspro staking claim over the real Sky, Bloom (still transformed) on her knees crying and Sky trying to apologise to Bloom. But then he saw a quartet of four furious girls emerge from under the bleachers, now heading over to Bloom, among them was Stella. She looked incredibly irate, but tears were also welling up in her eyes, probably due to the shock of the truths the show revealed.
But as they walked by, none of them looked at him, or Sky he noticed, he couldn't blame them though, how could he?
They got to Bloom, helped her up and then disappeared, likely transporting to their dorm over at Alfea. He hoped he could talk to Stella but he had his doubts, she'd most likely block him immediately.
Hours passed by, it was just he and Sky, Timmy had left, or maybe never came back. Either way, neither Brandon nor Sky hadn't been able to contact him, or anybody else for that matter. They'd tried many ways of contacting them, but all attempts had been futile.
"What if we try to call Flora? She wouldn't have blocked us," Sky tried, "And I know that's bad but I need to make sure Bloom's alright and I'm sure you need to talk to Stella."
"Yes, but-"
"But nothing, call her. Now. Please," Sky interrupted.
So he did, it took a few rings before she actually answered, "Hello? Why are you calling?" She said, her normally soft, sweet voice adopting a harder edge.
"We wanted to make sure Bloom was okay. And I need to talk to Stella, please?"
"Bloom's fine, no thanks to you, and you can't talk to Stella," She said firmly.
He heard a distant conversation, Musa or Tecna asked who it was and Flora told them, and then Musa was then on the call rather than Flora.
"Hello, Musa," Brandon tried.
"Don't."
"Look I'm sorry, but I need to talk to Stella. Please," He replied, tiredly.
"I don't care, don't call again," She replied shortly, before stuffing the phone in her pocket.
He assumed, she was supposed to end the call, but instead she put the phone on speaker.
So he heard her crying, similarly to how she was nearly a year ago.
"Who was it?" She asked, hoarsely.
"Just some spam, don't worry about it, here you go Flora," Musa replied, in a much softer voice than used with him.
He ended the call immediately.
He was pretty sure, his heart had broken as soon as he'd heard her cries.

Missing Brella lately, do you have any headcannons or any paragraphs? 😞❤️
I decided to save this ask (and its answer) for Stella's birthday, so ... here it is! A little Brella for Stella's birthday <3 <3 <3
Almost
Set sometime during season 2
At the weekend, Alfea was almost always almost empty, because almost all the girls were out visiting their families, shopping in Magix, or in general enjoying their time away from school. It was rare that, during her long walks around the hallways, Inspector Griselda heard students' voices coming from their apartments. Especially that apartment, and that voice.
She stopped. Holding her clipboard, Alfea's Head of Discipline frowned and listened. She didn't exactly enjoy writing up the girls for their rule-breaking; it was her job, and they had no idea how many times she'd turned a blind eye and let them think they had fooled her. They could never. Griselda knew every inch of the school, and nothing could happen without her being aware of it. Especially that!
“Hey! Be gentle!”
The voice of a girl, a trouble-maker, a princess.
“I am being gentle! But you must stop moving!”
The voice of a boy. Of a boy! In an all-girls' school! Male visitors were certainly not encouraged, but neither were forbidden. And Griselda needed to have a good reason before she stormed into the room. She didn't want Faragonda to think she was overly dramatic, again. Truth be told, Griselda didn't really approve of the Headmistress' lax approach when it came to enforcing the rules.
“Brandon, you are hurting me!”
“It is supposed to hurt!”
Her fingers tightened around the clipboard. Was he hurting her? Was he hurting her on purpose? She felt her magic quiver at her fingertips, and she forced herself to count to ten before she intervened.
“No it isn’t!”
“I’m pretty sure it is.”
“I wish you did it like Flora. She’s so much better!”
... nine, ten. She let go of the clipboard and snapped her fingers. The door opened on the living room and Griselda stepped inside. She started talking even before she laid eyes on them.
"Princess Stella, you know these kinds of activities are forbidden on the school premises. And you ...! If you have armed a hair on her head, I'll make sure Professor Codatorta disciplines you properly!"
"Please do!" Stella begged her. "My hair hurts so bad!"
Brandon looked at the Professor, confused. They weren't doing anything forbidden.
It was only then that Griselda, so focused on the imagine her mind had built, actually saw them: the fairy was sitting on the floor and the specialist was sitting behind her on the sofa. They were both fully clothed (if wearing a top and a miniskirt - Stella - and a tight t-shirt and ripped jeans could be considered being fully clothed). He had her hair in his hands. He was braiding her hair.
"Do you think she is all right?" Brandon whispered.
"I think her brain has stopped working." Stella replied.
Griselda crossed her arms and tried to regain some semblance of authority, though her cheeks were red in embarrassment. "Well, it's almost dinnertime. Remember to be out of here by then."
"Sure." The specialist smiled.
"Bye, Griselda." The fairy waved.
The Inspector nodded and walked back outside. She picked up her clipboard from the floor and snapped her fingers to close the door.
"What was that?" Stella asked, as Brandon went back to braiding her long blonde hair.
He shrugged. "She probably thought we were having sex."
"Oh! We should do that!" The princess exclaimed.
"PRINCESS STELLA!" Griselda screamed from outside the room.
"Joking!!!!"

I heard Infinity by Jaymes Young the other day and Idk why but at the line "And we could wear the same crown ... We are the gods now" I've got Griffin and Valtor vibes and then a thought occurred to me. We know Valtor saw himself as THE wizard of the dimension and always wanted more power. I see him like that in the past too. I also have that headcanon that the circle consisted of several wizards and witches and it was regulated hierarchically, so Valtor was obviously somewhere in the top because he was the strongest member. And while Griffin was still an circle member she has also an high position.
Do you think Valtor ever compared himself and Griffin to gods in general? Because with his ego I can see him doing that with himself. But do you think he also sees Griffin as his "Queen" and wanted the people around them and who are under them to respect her like that? And what would happened to the people who don't ? (He knows she can handle herself but I can also see how he's doing what ge wants to)
First off, I had assigned Infinity to my The Heart Wants What It Was Promised by the Stars fanfic. I hate to link it here because both the writing and characterization are very outdated and I cringe when I remember it BUT I have to give context to what I'm talking about. I did also have an AU of that AU which I now think should have been the main story. Valtor gets executed, Griffin somewhat moves on to where she's happy enough with her husband and they have a child, then Valtor comes back and can't stand the fact that she's married to someone else and isn't completely disgusted by that fact. Worst of all, Codatorta knows Valtor is there and yet, he hasn't given him up to the authorities which would force Griffin to choose Valtor. So Valtor starts trying to convince her that Codatorta doesn't really love her (because he's not possessed by murderous jealousy like Valtor is) and to piss off Codatorta enough to break up their fragile bond so that Griffin can be only his again. Don't know where I would take that but I am liking it more and more. Brain, no! Brain, yes!
As for Valtor feeling like they're gods and she's his queen? Long Live the Queen. It's a fanfic I wrote 3 and a half years ago inspired by Halsey's Young God which is THE GxV coven-times song.
Also, I have more thoughts on how the Coven works. These are all about my rewrite and I was planning on keeping my mouth shut but since that's probably just going to end up as me doing bullet points of my ideas for each episode, I figured I might as well talk about them now.
In my headcanons the Ancestral Witches are incorporeal because otherwise they would have wrecked shit all over the universe, not just on Domino and not just that one time. Plus, they are pure evil and their purpose is to destroy the whole universe. For that they have to snuff out the Dragon Fire first, though. But they are incorporeal. So they are trying to acquire bodies and this is where their descendants come in. Anyone can become a descendant of the Ancestral Witches but I am not going to explain that now (I think I might have done it already somewhere but I have too many posts to know for sure). The Coven is formed by the descendants so that they can get everything done to help the Ancestral Witches get bodies. Plus, they can possess their descendants but they don't like to do that because it confines them to the power level of the people they're possessing aka it leaves them too weak (and the possessed person dies once they are done possessing the body).
The Coven is ineffective because there's a lot of competitiveness between different groups of descendants as they're all trying to prove themselves by being the ones to actually achieve the goals of making the Ancestral Witches corporeal and destroying the Dragon Fire. The Coven almost gets wiped out but because the Ancestral Witches can only be killed if their essence in the Whisperian Crystals is destroyed, new descendants keep appearing and the Coven reforms again. The Ancestral Witches create Valtor, though, with the idea that him being under their direct control makes him perfect to act as a leader of the Coven to avoid such uncoordinated disaster again.
Everyone in the Coven is kind of fawning over him or at least trying to impress him to further their own ambition and as much as Valtor likes being the center of attention, he really hates this situation because he knows that they only care about him as an extension of the Ancestral WItches. Plus, he thinks most of them incompetent and dislikes working with them (because like I said, anyone could become a descendant of the Ancestral WItches without consideration of power levels or abilities or anything else). But then he meets Griffin. Her particle manipulation magic is very rare and intriguing. He thinks it might have something to do with the Dragon Fire because it created everything and her magic is based on the similarity between all matter. It does not have anything to do with the Dragon Fire as magic is more self-actualization and Griffin has always considered change (of the system) her primary goal so she manifested that magic for herself.
Still, that makes her very impressive in a whole another way. And Valtor likes that she can keep up with him (but without surpassing him) even though she doesn't have as much experience as he does. Plus, she's a challenge in a way because she's not that impressed with him and is giving him the cold shoulder which just makes it that much more important to him to seduce her. And he knows she's with the Coven because of him. She's not a descendant of the Ancestral Witches and everyone was pissed off when Valtor brought her into the fold but she's been giving more than amazing results so the Ancestral Witches deemed her useful. From then on, Valtor makes it clear that anyone that dares look at her the wrong way is dead because all the other Coven members are expendable and Griffin is his.

Time of Wars Part 4
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sky was now looking at Marcus. His glare said it all. He did not like the leader and did not trust him.
“You are in my kingdom here! Do not forget that! You act all smart and don’t consider us like you should,” the prince said, coldly.
“You tend to forget that the information concerns you and that I could be keeping them for myself,” replied Marcus, not backing down.
“Oh well, of course,” Sky put on a fake smile, “Be my guest. I would love to see how the Winx would react.” It was Marcus' turn to glare at the prince. “You know perfectly damn well that those fairies wouldn’t let you do that," he got closer to the leader, “and it is bothering you. Yes, I think that if they had to choose a side, they wouldn't pick you.”
“This is not a game.” Marcus shot back angrily.
“Exactly. Don’t let it become one. You would be surprised at how good I am at playing games.” Sky’s glare was dark. He was furious.
“Now, you are going to answer my questions.”  He turned once again and went toward the screen, his hands in his pockets. “What about the data you collected?” Codatorta quickly showed on the flat screen.
“There seems to be a lot of information about the war, but most of it is about you Sky. We are still unsure as to why they have it, but Bloom is on it, right Marcus?”
“Why Bloom?” Sky asked while reading the documents. He could see a bunch of notes about him, his health, and his past. The question was aimed at Marcus. The latter cursed under his breath and used the computer to show Bloom’s folder.
“Simply because I know she is the best when it comes to infiltration. I could have sent Aisha or Musa, but they are spies. Bloom is an infiltrator.” He said firmly.
“Surely you know the nature of her relationship with me and my kingdom?" The prince said harshly. He did not like what he was seeing about Bloom in this folder. He looked at her health aptitudes and noticed many scares, some were bullet scares. No, he hated what he was seeing.
“Not before your little puppet made a scene about it.” Marcus looked back at Lord Radielle who looked furious. “She doesn’t appear as the type of woman to be interested in romance. None of them seem interested. Lord, I don’t see her being a queen fo-” Sky cut him off by slamming a document he had gotten out of the screen on Marcus’ chest.
“Then you should have been more careful!” Sky rage could be felt by every politician and soldier in the room.
Marcus took the document and looked at it. It was the profile data of the prince. Name, kingdom, status, place of birth… Nothing of interest. He looked at the prince mockingly before the man pointed at the screen and shot him a death glare. There, on the screen was written a sentence. A single one. Next to it was a link. A link that contained a name Marcus knew well.
“So, you are telling me that you sent her there to get more information about all these documents and kingdoms while she is also part of the list?”. Sky was calm. Way too calm. His voice felt like frozen ice on Marcus' body.
“I didn’t know! If I had any idea of what that contained, I would not have sent her.” Marcus argued back. both men's anger clashed violently. Sky was angry at Marcus because of his lack of seriousness, whereas Marcus was about to explode. How dare Sky belittle him like this?
“Then this explains why you are miserably failing at saving your kingdom!” Said the King. The specialists were now by Sky’s side.
“You don’t know anything!” Marcus screamed but only managed to infuriate the whole room of nobles. The guards moved toward him but were stopped by a gracious hand wave. The king was not afraid.
“This is not good!” Said Codatorta. “It sounds like a vicious trap.” He looked at his former student and saw the worry in his eyes. “If they get a hold on her… The political issue would only go downwards. Domino would have to be implicated in the war.”
“Knowing Bloom, she probably knew about it," Timmy said, “but she decided not to mention it.”
“The woman is smart. She knew that she would be stopped. She is also brave to the point of stupidity," said Erendor while crossing his arms over his chest. He was thinking. “We need to discover what is going on.”
“I trust Bloom! She will manage to-”
“It’s not about trust you fool!” Sky cut him off. “I trust Bloom with my damn life! It is about caring!”
“If they get a hold on her…” Started Helia but couldn’t bring himself to finish the sentence.
“What do they want from us? And if they plan on using Bloom against us, what are we going to do?” Sky said, worryingly.
He could not take the pressure. It was too much. Dealing with war and the life of hundreds of thousands of people was already barely bearable, but knowing that Bloom could be in serious danger would be the death of him.
He clicked on the link where her name was written.
Relationship status:
 officially- single_
 Unofficially- fiancé_
(ehZ2hEHL269vzhbjPrincess%BlOomHEhb28EUI87%dn_GH6_46JHGg)
A page opened. It was coded.
“Give me a second would you,” said Timmy while putting on his glasses. “This shouldn’t be too difficult.”
Indeed, a few seconds later, he managed to decode the page and a series of pictures of Bloom appeared.
The first one was a picture of her in her enchantix form, sitting on the grass with Kiko, her rabbit. Sky took a deep breath. It was hard to look at her face. He missed her so much that it pained him to look at her sweet face. Seeing her wearing the beautiful enchantix wings felt bittersweet. On the picture was written “fire fairy -Guardian of the dragon flame -Guardian of Domino and Magix”
The second picture was a few years older. Bloom was on Earth and looked older. Her hair looked shorter. She was talking to someone Sky did not know. He remembered her that way. From how she looked, he knew the photograph dated from when they had broken up and he had joined his father to face the war. The white dress she was wearing fitted her well. He remembered telling her so. “Skilled fairy and leader – Princess of the realm of Domino.”
Then, there was the last picture. All the specialists recognized the place. It was the training area at Red Fountain. The fairy was wearing training clothes and was holding a massive sword. She looked sweaty and exhausted while holding the weapon straight at Codatorta's face. Suddenly, the picture moved, and, like a magical drawing, it showed Bloom fighting her coach. Both their swords crossing and meeting, Bloom’s determined glare, her shoulders shaking from exhaustion, then Codatorta violently punching her and her falling on the ground. But a second later she was up, holding the sword skillfully, and jumped in the air, twirled so quickly that the man hadn’t the time to react and was met by Bloom's sword. “Skilled fighter – abilities: sword- martial combat- infiltration”
Under the pictures were as many documents and information as there was about Sky. The prince closed the documents with a swift hand movement and walked back toward the table.
Most nobles wore worried looks on their face. No one dared to say a word while the prince put his hands on the table and let his head fall. He was deep in thought. In a matter of moments, the situation had become much more dangerous. He thought of her family. The King and Queen of Domino were going to be informed, but what about Mike and Vanessa? Thinking about them made him feel a little bit of warmth in his heart. He liked them so much. They had considered him as their son from the beginning. They had always supported their relationship. They were great parents.
“We need to get moving.” He finally said. “Timmy, make sure all the data is being decrypted by our team and find the common points between our kingdom and all the other ones that are part of that list.” He ordered. “Riven and Helia, join Commander Elois and organize the troupes, we don’t know what could fall upon us.” He then looked up. “Lord Radielle make sure you know where your loyalty lays, I will not tolerate your attitude toward me or toward my choices! Now get out!” He said coldly, making the man gulp. “Oh, and inform the queen, would you.”
All the men stood up, followed by a few other soldiers and nobles. Very few stayed. He turned toward the screen and simply looked at Marcus who had observed the situation in silence. Sky thought about Bloom for a second and cursed loud enough for Marcus to hear him.
“I’m going to kill her.”
Brandon got closer and put a supportive hand over the prince’s shoulder.
“You know how the woman is. I’m sure she means well.” He said kindly.
“Giving me gray hair isn’t helping.”
“Tecna is reaching out to us it seems,” said Codatorta, who had sat back down next to the headmaster, when he noticed a small icon flashing on the screen.
Without any hesitation, Brandon clicked on the notification.
The door of the meeting room opened. Queen Samara and Princess Diaspro entered the room. The queen wore a beautiful and expansive green gown and the princess wore a soldier’s uniform.
She had joined the army when the war started. The royal family was still wary of her after what had happened at the millennium party years ago. However, the young woman had managed to prove her loyalty. Sky was the one to suggest her help. He knew the woman to be loyal to him to the point of bewitching him. All means were necessary to win the war. Diaspro’s family was still rich, and their planet could be a massive support in the war. The princess knew how the prince felt and so, had to control her manner if she wanted him to stay kin to her stay.
“Lord Radielle informed me of the situation. Is Bloom in danger?” Asked the Queen carefully. She could feel the tension in the room. Her husband looked angry and her son worried.
“We don’t know for now,” was all Sky said. He focused on the computer. Diaspro didn’t say a word and sat down next to Samara. “Tecna? Can you hear us?”
“Well, hello there.” Said the fairy. “It’s good to hear your voice Sky. I assume you are doing fine. Marcus, are you there?”
“I am.”
“So, how are things going over there, Tecna?”
“Codatorta, nice to hear you too. Well, I finally managed to create a technological reach for you guys. Working without magic is rather frustrating. The mission started a few hours ago. The team got into the area, Marcus.”
“Of course they did!” He said proudly. “Where is Bloom. She created quite a fuss here.”
“Oh…Ohh! Yes, that.”
“You knew it, didn’t you?” Marcus asked.
“Of course I did, what did you expect me to do? Hide Bloom in a tower? That's not how we work.”
“You girls are irresponsible!” Exclaimed Sky.
“Hey! We are not teens anymore, do not patronize us Sky! I know you are worried, but we know exactly what we are doing.”
“Don’t bother.”
“Seriously Sky, do you think Bloom didn’t think about all the possibilities? But at the end of the day, the situation was so bad that there was no other choice! She isn’t alone! Darius and Aisha are with her. They are the best messengers we have over here. Better than any specialists when it comes to infiltration and spying.” On the screen appeared a small window. “And I reached out to you because I know you well. You go insane when Bloom is in danger. I came here with this.” The window downloaded a video and soon enough, they all could see Bloom on the screen. “This is live from Bloom’s eyeShip. With this software, you are going to be able to see everything that she sees, and this will allow you to keep an eye on her but also make the right decisions if something happens.”
They all looked at the woman on the screen. She wore her hair in a messy bun. A few locks fell on her face in soft curls. She wasn’t wearing any makeup and her outfit was all black and tight. She wore a leather crop top that looked like an X, englobing her breasts. She had low-rise black leather pants and boots. On her wrist were her bracelet and a ship. She was running with two other people. Sky assumed they were Darius and Aisha.
Brandon couldn’t believe his eyes. Bloom was indeed different. But so was Aisha. She wore her frizzy curls in a small afro and her outfit was just like Bloom’s, except it was a one-piece suit with blue details on her shoulder pads. She was wearing gloves and large boots. The girl always looked confident, but not this much. She had a sly smile on her lips and her eyes were hidden behind sunglasses. She was fast and each of her movements was very well calculated. The man running with them was extremely well built up and wore leather, sunglasses, and a hoody. His fair skin and muscles shone under the moonlight. They both had the same bracelet as Bloom.
The whole room was dumbfounded at their agility. Jumping from roof to roof, using the plumber to climb buildings, jumping from skyscrapers, and falling perfectly on their feet. They were as swift and skilled as cats. They were strong and fast. All eyes were glued to the screen as they watched the three messengers make their way into a highly guarded building. Armed soldiers were everywhere. The building was so well protected that everybody in the room feared the three messengers would get caught. Slowly, the eyeShip focused on Bloom. Her face was pale and contrasted with her red hair. She had a serious glare on her face. She seemed unstoppable.
There was a loud noise next to where she had landed after a spectacular jump. She quickly hid under a huge pipe she guessed was a vent. She swiftly lifted her body with her arms and stood up in the air, under the vent, her whole body was upside down. She saw three armed men walk around the corner, glasses in their hands. She did not move and hold her breath when then walked just under her. A few seconds later, they opened a door and left the small terrasse. She fell back on her feet and slowly looked around. She was alone. Aisha had managed to get in a vent and Darius was getting rid of a noisy and drunk guard. She smiled and continued looking for an entry.
Something caught her attention. A construction site? She thought for a few seconds. Without a word, she touched her temple.
“Darius, I have an idea, but I need your help.”
“Why do I always need to babysit you? Ugh!”
“I’m going to infiltrate the building. I’m gonna use the construction site just so you know.”
She didn’t bother listening to him and ran toward the cliff and jumped right from the small rooftop into the building’s downhill wall. She let herself slide down the downhill and jumped from it when she was near scaffoldings. She gripped one of its pipes and used it to balance herself on the scaffolding. It was risqué but discrete.
In the palace meeting room, all were dumbfounded. Most had made small cries when they thought the woman would not make it alive. Some congressmen had laughed at her abilities, saying how skilled she was and how marvelous it was to see princesses do something else than just sit around and look nice. Of course, they knew Aisha and Bloom weren’t the usual princesses, but they surely did not expect those backflips and deadly jumps.
Samara had a hand over her chest, she had been holding her breath every time the young fairy made a move. The King was still sitting straight and still had his hands crossed over his body. However, his mouth was widely opened, and he could not believe his eyes. Even his most experienced soldiers could not do such things. Codatorta looked extremely pleased and proud, he shared the same expression as Saladin. The two specialists looked at her like she had grown a second head. Marcus was the only one that did not look petrified by them. He hadn’t seen Bloom do anything else than that during the three years she had been working with him. He looked over at the prince and glared at him. He did not like him a bit.
Bloom was going down the scaffolds quicker than they thoughts was possible. She used every railing, pipe, and sheet metal. Jumping on a wall and balancing herself on a pipe was not a problem for her.
The place was dark. There was barely any light. The construction site was empty. A few meters away she saw a gigantic tarp. She knew how the city worked here; a tarp meant a hole. Surely, she could go down into the ground and find a vent. She was the one that needed to collect the documents needed to understand what link there was between Carlisle and the other kingdoms he had been spying on.
She finally landed on the ground in a perfect forward roll. She slowly walked toward the tarp and looked underneath it. She was right. They were constructing another building, and so, they started by digging the grounds and putting installations within it. She saw stairs and didn’t hesitate to use them. It took her a few minutes to go down the stairs and find a vent indicated by her eyeShip.
She climbed the whole vent without much difficulty and made her way to the first floor of the building. But of course, things were going too smoothly. There, she was met by seven guards, all armed. They saw her and immediately ran toward her, ready to shoot her down. Bloom didn’t like to fight but when needed, she surely knew how to. She did not let them win over her. She also ran toward them, but before colliding with the first one, she did a front flip, dodging him perfectly. Landing on the floor she kicked him in the back making him fall.
The fairy turned down right in time to punch another one right between the legs and stole his gun. She detached the magazine which still had all its bullets and was pretty heavy, she kept the pistol in one hand and used it to slam it on his jaw, making him fall backward. Falling back on her knees, she threw the heavy magazine toward the third guard, hitting him right in the guts. She caught the man in front of her who was now bleeding from his mouth and used him as a shield when the fourth guard started firing at her. She knew these soldiers were provided with powerful bulletproof outfits, so the man would be fine. She then stood up, still holding the man by his collar, and throw him at the firing guard. They both fell on the floor. The fifth one looked stunned by her and kept looking at the two guards left. One was tall and big, and the other one was small but well-built. Bloom looked at the fifth one, he looked more like a trainee than a soldier. She had a few seconds to intervene before they would fight back. One. She looked over them. Two. She took out her glimmering yellow baton. Three. She threw it in the air and caught it back, making it twirl around her hands. Done! They looked frightened. Laughing a little bit, she ran toward the two guards, hitting them with it before kicking one in the face violently and hitting the other one with her baton three times. Once in the chest, another one in the belly, and the last one over his nape. There was not a single noise besides all their groans. She looked at the trainee before collecting a gun from the ground that she knew was a stun gun. She smiled at him before shooting him. She watched him fall to the ground, unconscious.
“See! She is perfectly fine!” Said Tecna to Sky that was stunned by her skills. He blinked a few times and then looked at his father and the few congressmen. They all looked astonished. His mom was hiding a smile behind her hand. She looked pleased with how the situation had turned. A feeling of pride gripped his guts. This was his fiancée. She had taken down seven armed guys in a matter of minutes.

Rose watches Fate: The Winx Saga
Episode 1: How bad can it be?
I have not seen any reviews of the actual show, though I have come across some (not favorable ones) and watched the trailer, which left me with “that’s not good” vibes.
SPOILERS, obviously.
I’m gonna regret this so much.
Shit, I forgot it’s a Netflix adaptation.
Horror atmosphere? Okay.
Farmer cursing out sheep? Am I watching the right show?
Whooo, spooky magic portal.
Sheep gore? Ehm, alright.
What’s that, a werewolf?
Yep, it’s Winx. Starting out with a guy getting bloodily murdered off-screen by a werewolf. I’m disappointed and we’re only at the title card.
What’s that music? Not bad, but I’m not a big fan, either.
Oh, look, fat white Not-Flora, selling flowers to some bald dude in front of the school.
Aisha with braids. Yeah, I’m not mad at her, yet.
Stella looks like she’s thirty.
So does Musa. She looks bored. That doesn’t bode well.
Is that fuckboy Sky? I’m giving him a chance - but only one.
Was Bloom loking at him? Was that supposed to be disgust?
Wow, Sky, who wrote your dialog? On that note, who wrote Stella’s text?
Also... that’s one shitty way to insert yourself there, buddy. Was that supposed to sound smart?
Aaand patronizing. Nice. I’m losing respect quickly. And, if she’s gonna end up with you at the end, I’m gonna barf.
Nervous laughter, yay. WE GET IT, SHE’S NEW TO THE WHOLE FAIRY THING.
Not a fan of the word mansplaining being used unironically, but honestly, you go girl.
“Quit perving on the first years”, I’m with you on that, though I’m pretty sure that’s not a phrasing people would use. Also, who’s that? Riven? Brandon? I don’t remember the guy’s casting, they all looked way too similar.
Stella with British accent is... okay, I guess. Not a fan. Also... she looks way too old and way too fancy for this.
Also... had Bloom and Stella never met before? How did they get in contact? How did Bloom find out about magic? I have so many questions.
So, the Not-Faragonda gave her a Hogwarts letter. Okay.
Stella’s ring is like the first thing about this that I actually kinda like.
Oh, never mind. Not “Sword of Solaria” - “Gateway ring”. And Stella hates being at Alfea. Oh, wow, so quirky.
Only 7 realms? Wow, they really shrunk the Magical Dimension down. I mean, I get why, but they could have left it vague.
Yes, yes, you desperately want to be Harry Potter, like everyone else for the last 20 years.
“The transformation magic has been lost” - I was disappointed already, but somehow, it got worse.
Cool, Tinkerbell was real and Not-Faragonda already knows, what kind of magic Bloom has. I mean, they said three months ago, so I guess that makes sense, but still.
Ooh, foreshadowing. She burned her house down, didn’t she?
“Magic can be dangerous, as you well know” - yep, definitelly burned her house down. Probably killed someone in the process.
"Trust the process” - so, is Not-Faragonda gonna be the villain?
“I’m here because you promised you can teach me control.“ “No, you’re here, because you had no other choice.“ Bloom definitelly killed her parents. And I’m getting major creeps from Faragonda.
That school looks like the X-Men amnsion. Am I the only one seeing that? Is this gonna be wanna-be X-Men?
Facetiming her parents, as you do. Nevermind, she didn’t kill them. Maybe someone else?
Jeez, girl, no need to be so judgy.
“Lady of the Flies, sweetie, don’t be sexist“ - I get the California stereotype, but that was very, very unnecessary.
Oh, they don’t know she’s in a magic school. Okay.
Not-Faragonda is a liar, get it.
And here come the Harry Potter references.
Can you tone the references down? Also, they have Harry Potter and Lord of the Flies in the Not-Magix. (And yes, I’m gonna be doing the “not” thing a lot.
Oh, they assigned Stella to Bloom. That’s disappointing.
And Not-Flora is quirky and can’t shut up. Okay. This girl is looking more and more as the exact opposite of Flora.
Stella was held a year, just like in the original show, calling it now.
“I have a cousin named Flora” - namedropping her doesn’t earn you forgiveness, lady.
Oh, yeah, Musa has mind powers, I forgot that one. Great.
Yay, big badasses, kicking each other in a dirty pond, how cool...
“She’s a ginge, they’re all nuts“, okay. “Amazing shags, though.“ Ehm, excuse me, what? I get that we’re all adult here, but like... I appretiated the virgin joke there, Sky. Not funny, but appreciated.
Is that supposed to be Codatorta? Is Alfea a bootcamp, now?
“Burned Ones“, huh? So, that’s the werewolf, thing? Okay, we have a big evil, now.
Whoa, zombies. And a traumatized drill sergant. Nice.
Is Sky smoking? Cause if so, I have no more respect for him.
Okay, who’s Rosalind? Bloom’s mom? (Please, no spoilers)
Not-Faragonda denying reality, as expected.
Oh, the bald guy is Not-Flora’s dad. Okay.
Oh, look, the... wanna-be evil fairy? Definitelly and “arsehole”, as she says.
What a polite way to say “Fuck off”.
Calling her mum a basic bitch is... very classy. You’re very quirky, very relatable and not like the other girls, we get it.
Are Stella and Sky dating? I know that’s gonna cause drama and I hate that already.
The hell is that? A fire Patronus?
So, what did she burn, exacly?
She looks so happy at the baby flame.
She’s got that evil look down.
And now she can’t stop. Shocker.
Bloom is quirky and doesn’t like her mom. That’s... the exact opposite of the relationship they had in the show.
And I hate that character assasination of Vanessa. What the hell? Why can’t a female lead have an awesome relationship with her mom who loves her? Why is Mike such a doormat? I fucking hate this show and I’m 30 minutes in.
I was close. She almost killed her parents.
Yep, definitely a changeling. I was gonna write it here, but I forgot to pause and she said it before I did.
“Someone’s been lying to her” - shot at Not-Faragonda with creepy music in the background. Yep, bad guy, through and through.
Seeecret tunnel. Seeecret tunnel.
Is Not-Faragonda wearing sweatpants? I mean, that’s her choice, it just seems odd.
Yeah, bitch, strangle the dudebro, he deserves it.
I have just realized I can’t tell Riven and Sky appart. I’m not sure, if that’s saying something about me or the show.
Ooh, drama, what did Sky do? I don’t want to know, cause my respect for him is already at zero and I’d hate to hate the obvious love interest.
Ooh, she left the door open.
She’s supposed to be 16. The only one I’m buying being 16 for a second is Flora. The others, hell no. I kinda hoped they had aged them up, but no, 16 it is.
Secret hideout, nice.
Is that Daphne? Nope, that’s a fire zombie.
*insert every horror trope ever*
Fire zombie steals the ring, cool.
Oh, look, Not-Faragonda comes to save the day, yay...
“Where’s Stella?“ Getting laid, apparently.
Silva? Is that the Not-Codatorta? Okay.
Oh, the drama... end the suffering already.
Oh, it’s Riven, who’s smoking, not Sky. I said I can’t tell them apart.
Great, now I hate that fangirl, too. Ew, smokers.
Aand... that’s the first episode.
Honestly, I had the feeling this was gonna be the Last Airbender movie for the Winx series and... yeah, I was right. Not terrible on it’s own (though not very good, either), but become infinitely worse, when you know the source material.

I imagine Griffin and the Twins one day telling their students, most likely the freshman, to avoid Griselda because their students are to young to have their egos destroyed. One of the freshman asks if they could have a description.
Griffin: She’s over 6 feet tall, and thin. With short brown hair, brown eyes and glasses. She’s also most likely wearing blue and white.
Griffin: Her usual facial expressions include:
Griffin, counting on her fingers: Hating the world, done with your shit/this shit, I’m too sober to deal with this, I’m not drunk enough for this, yes there is a difference, and I don’t get paid enough for this. The most common are usually the cold mask of indifference, or looks like something crawled up her ass and died.
Griffin: As for her personality, Griselda’s kind of a bitch and –
Ediltrude: a hard ass.
Zarathustra: and a smart ass.
The Twins: with a flag pole up her ass.
Griffin, sarcastically: Thank you for your input!
The Twins: Your welcome!
Griffin, rolling her eyes visibly annoyed: As I was saying... Griselda’s is intimidating on a good day and down right terrifying on a bad one. She’s the most sarcastic motherfucker, the greatest shit talker and the smartest woman you will ever meet. Her insults can make grown men and witches cry. Yes she’s made all three of us cry before. So please, I beg of you avoid challenging her at all costs because you are too young to cope with the damage sustained to your ego if you challenge her.
[A few weeks later]
A the same 1st year witch meets Griselda in Magix city as Griselda’s walking towards the outdoor seating area where her students, co-workers, Saladin and Codatorta are sitting. Which is across the street from where the witches(including CT staff) were. The specialists sitting on both sides.
Freshman Witch: You’re Ms. Griselda right?
Griselda, raising her eye brow: Yes. How did you know?
Freshman Witch: Headmistress Griffin, Professor Ediltrude and Professor Zarathustra warned us to avoid you and gave us a general description.
Griselda, crossing her arms: Oh really? And what did they say?
Freshman Witch: *repeats description word for word*
Griselda: *Looks pissed off and deeply offended*
By this time everyone from the schools are listening and heard every word of the description. The students are looking at the witch like she’s suicidal. The staff however are just smirking. This is going to be good.
Griselda whips around to face the witches.
Griselda, Screaming in Outrage: GRIFFIN! WHAT DO YOU MEAN “KIND OF”!!!
The students look dumbfounded staring at Griselda as if she lost her mind...
Griffin, smiling apologetically: I’m very sorry Griselda. *stands up*
Griffin to her Students: Witches! Let me correct my previous description of Griselda. This woman *pointing at Griselda* IS a Bitch.
Griffin, turning back to Griselda: Is that better?
Griselda: Your apology is accepted. Thank you Griffin.
Griffin: Your welcome Griselda.
Griselda: *Nods and heads toward the staff table*
Musa: Ms. Griselda are you just going to let them insult you?
Griselda, sitting down: I know exactly what I am Ms. Musa, so why would I argue with an accurate description? Also they weren’t insulting me.
Bloom: How do you know that?
Griselda: I’ve known them since we were 16, Ms. Bloom. They gave up on trying to actually insult me in our 20’s. The 3 of them just gave an accurate description while complementing my intelligence and demeanor.
Stella: How could any of that be considered a complement?
Griselda: Because Ms. Stella I take pride in my intelligence and ability to out think others. And I like it when people are intimidated by me.
Aisha: Why?
Griselda, smirking: Because they are more likely to do what I say or stay out of my way.

Phan Cam: A Royal Rebellion
Tumblr media
>Red Fountain. Bloom and Sky were called by Saladin for something. Just to be sure something isn’t wrong, I asked Mona to keep an eye on them.
Tumblr media
I’m sure it’s nothing too serious, Bloom. Saladin’s kind of on our side.
Tumblr media
Even though he’s suppose to remain neutral on this.
Tumblr media
He’s just being true to himself. But we still have to see what the others vote on.
Sky: Well, we’re here. Shall we?
Morgana: I’ll find someplace to hide and watch. If it has something to do with Erendor, I need to see how it may effect his cognition and that would would have an effect on his Palace.
Bloom: Just in case, I also put an invisibility spell on your collar. Just touch it and you’ll be hidden.
Morgana: Thanks, Lady Bloom. That should help.
>With that, Morgana touches his collar and vanishes from sight.
Sky: (knocking on the door) Headmaster Saladin, we’re here.
Headmaster Saladin’s voice: You may enter.
>The door opens and Sky, Bloom, and Morgana (secretly) enter. Inside, they find Headmaster Saladin, Professor Codatorta, and even King Erendor himself waiting.
Sky: Dad? Why are you here?
Tumblr media
I could ask you the same question. What are you doing here... With her?
Sky: Dad, we’ve been through this before. Bloom is my fiance and my true love. What more do you want me to say?
King Erendor: I prefer that you were with Diaspro. Which brings us to why you were called here.
Sky: What is it?
Tumblr media
Princess Diaspro said that just the other day, one of your new friends who works at that new cafe and is part time janitor at Alfea insulted her.
Tumblr media
But I have to admit, she must have gain a lot of Guts from eating the really spicy curry... I’ll have to remember that if I ever go to that cafe.
>King Erendor and Headmaster Saladin both glare.
Professor Codatora: (quickly) I mean... That was a very wrong thing they did to her. Very wrong indeed.
Headmaster Saladin: Anyway, can you explain what just happened?
Bloom: Honestly, Headmaster, I don’t exactly know. I wasn’t there. But from what our friend said, she insulted him first. Actually, she insulted me as well. I think he was just defending me.
King Erendor: Either way, he pulled a nasty prank on her and he must pay the consequences. However, I am a fair man. Tell your friend that me and Diaspro are willing to forgive him if he can do us a favor.
Sky: What is it, Dad?
King Erendor: As you probably don’t know, these so-called Phantom Thieves of Hearts may be here on Magix. From what I’ve heard, they already change quite a few hearts here... And from what I’ve heard, they’re after me next.
Sky: ... I wouldn’t know.
King Erendor: ... Fair enough. I also know that among these new friends of yours is the Detective Prince, Goro Akechi. I believe he has dealt with these thieves before. So I would like to commission that he would go find them and bring them to me.
Tumblr media
(whisper) This could be bad.
Professor Codatora: Did you hear something?
Headmaster Saladin: Hear what?
Professor Codatora: Forgive me, but I was sure I just heard a cat.
Headmaster Saladin: ... Probably just a stay that got on the grounds. It happens all the time.
King Erendor: Back on subject, I ask only that Akechi catch them and bring these criminals to justice.
Sky: With all do respect, Dad, but Akechi tried to catch these guys before and failed.
Bloom: Not to mention that they have done so much good already. How could you say that their criminals.
King Erendor: Because, Princess of Domino, they are threatening me. A king.
Sky: They targeted royalty before. And no one complained.
King Erendor: I don’t care. They are siding with you and the other Winx girls for this unnecessary change. If you think I’m going to let a bunch of punks make me let you ruin the purity of this boys school, forget it! Are we understood?
Sky: ... I understand. I’ll see what I can do.
King Erendor: That’s a good boy. Now off with you.
>With that, Bloom and Sky left... And Morgana stayed.
Headmaster Saladin: I don’t mean to speak out of term, but are you sure you want to do this? Just think of how good will come from admitting female students here. Or is the only you’re against this is because you still don’t like Bloom or her family.
King Erendor: She grew up on Earth never knowing how things really work. I just don’t want to see my own son throw away his future for her. Especially after how her sister already married my nephew. That would make them cousins that makes what they are doing incest.
Headmaster Saladin: Not really. Bloom and Sky are related by marriage, not blood. So they can still pretty much marry each other.
King Erendor: I still don’t like it. Why must this go on. No matter. The voting will take place soon. And I just know everyone will agree with me... (whisper) If they know what’s good for them.
Tumblr media
(whispering also) We’ll see about that, you old fart!
Professor Codatora: I’m serious, that cat sounds real close.
Headmaster Saladin: Just leave it. Now please, the dragons need to be checked on.
King Erendor: And I have important business to deal with.
>With that, King Erendor and Professor Codatora left... With Morgana secretly going out with them.
Headmaster Saladin: Good luck, Phantom Thieves.
Tumblr media
>The Heart Manor Cafe. Morgana explained what happened in Saladin’s office.
Tumblr media
I can’t believe he’s asking this of me.
Tumblr media
One of the customers must have recognized him and posted about it online.
Tumblr media
I want to say that Mirta or Lucy might have done it since he served them pancakes, but they seem like nice people, even though Lucy’s a witch.
Tumblr media
Actually, it might have been my fault. Diaspro was there when he was serving them and she probably recognized him. I just wanted to teach her a lesson.
Tumblr media
It’s not your fault, Ren. Things like this happen.
Ren: Thanks, Yusuke.
Bloom: Anyway, I think this means we may have to speed things up if we want to change Erendor’s heart.
Tumblr media
We can’t let this go on. If he’s asking Akechi to go looking for us, we might have a problem. He might find out who we are.
Akechi: I think I can try to stall him with misinformation. But it may not help forever.
Tumblr media
I think me, Techna, and Timmy can come up with something. Don’t worry. We’re already close to the Treasure Room. The sooner we’ve establish a route, the sooner we can send the calling card.
Tumblr media
Right. We can’t waste anymore time.
Morgana: That’s right. We have to take Erendor’s heart...
Tumblr media
Are we set?
Phantom Thieves: Right.
Morgana: Sky, Bloom, are you ready?
Sky: If this is what it takes for my father to finally see reason, I’ll do it.
Bloom: And so will I.
>It’s unanimous. Erendor’s heart will change... Life will change.

S1 E19: The fall of Magix
How did Griselda know Bloom was back? And why is she still dressed in the middle of the night?
She would've understood just fine Faragonda you dumb whore
Who destroyed Domino way back when... When is way back when? That was never really made clear.
Stormy's evil laugh needs some work...
Why do the witches need Griffin to save them from falling? Can't they fly or float or whatever 🤨
Icy's glowy eyes are so cool! She needs to do that more often
Witches really love pointy hairstyles
It will cause total destruction... Uh yeah Griffy, that's the idea.
Saladin's so chill. That's why his school got destroyed
I am once again complaining that they showed some Sky trying to contact Bloom but no Brandon trying to contact Stella
It's taken me this long to realise Riven's hair matches Stormy's outfit
Oooh more glowy eyes!!!
I have to say, Riven's determination to fight against 3 witches is impressive and incredibly stupid.
RISE LITTLE BUGS OF DECAY! you nasty fucking things. I would have puked so much trying to fight those
Stella is the only one with an appropriate reaction to those bugs
I... I can't help. Why you gotta make this about you Bloom? Your school is under attack by bugs. Just fucking step on them or get something to crush them with and leave the bigger ones to the others.
Oh right you can help when Kiko is being attacked but not when anyone else is. 🙄
Kiko playing dead 💀💀
Codatorta loves jumping off of things. First from the stands to stop the dragons now from a balcony to attack some monsters.
Where did Diaspro even come from? How did she know? How long has it been since the exhibition? I have so many questions.
Love that the monsters and RF students are fighting 1 on 1

S1 E20: Mission to Domino
How is the hologram showing Icy's whole body when it should only be her torso?
Saladin why are you at Alfea? Shouldn't you be at RF in case they attack again? Couldn't they do 3-way calling?
A little accusatory there Faragonda. Bloom probably wouldn't have lost her powers if you had told her what you knew!
The winx are the truest friends ever. I love my best friends to death but there is nothing that would make me willingly go to Domino. I don't do well with cold (makes me a bad Canadian).
The bitches look way to happy to be going to a frozen wasteland.
OF COURSE MOTHER NATURES NOT HAPPY FLORA. SHE'S FUCKING FROZEN.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
RF only had 225 students (224 here + Riven in CT's dungeon). Really thought it would've been more.
Saladin is dramatic af. I am living for it.
My absolute favourite thing about RF is that students that aren't blonds or brunettes have weapons that match their hair colour. (Bishop, Riven, that redheaded (but like REDheaded) guy who's name I don't know.
You may be invincible Icy, but you have no battle plan. If you'd just been a bit more patient and thought things through, you might have succeeded in taking over the world.
The giant faces in the sky are very unsettling. ( I would also like you all to know that I follow up Sky's name with 🤢 so often that my phone suggests 🤢 as the next word after sky)
Ice dragon! LOVE the ice dragon.
Not one of the guys wondered where Riven was? Not even Timmy? I know he's a dick, but like... That's cold.
For how often it happens in shows, I grew up thinking that being buried under snow would be a much bigger problem than it is.
The fact that they are running in their winter gear and on snow is by far the most impressive thing they've ever done. I would never run in my winter boots. Saving the world how many fucking times seems very unimpressive in comparison.
Fucking four of them forgetting they have wings (Stella is in her Winx form!) and just watching Bloom fall 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
Why is Icy watching them? Like how obsessed is she with Bloom that she's watching her even once the flame is hers.

JARED IS THAT YOU?

Do you have anything about Musa and Stella interacting in any way?
Musa and Stella's performance
The bathroom door opened, but Stella kept on singing, as she applied her hair mask. Flora had said to leave it on for fifteen minutes, enough time for at least four songs. She smiled with her eyes closed, lying in her bathtub.
“What song is that?”
At that Stella screamed, instinctively covering her chest with her arms, even though everything from her shoulders down was concealed by a thousand bubbles. “Musa, what the fuck! Don’t you ever knock?”
“I did.” She replied. “What were you singing?”
Stella rolled her eyes. “It’s a traditional song of Solaria.”
“It’s in another language.” The Fairy of Music pointed out.
“That’s Solaria’s old language. Only few know it.” She answered, not without a touch of pride.
“It’s beautiful. You’ve got a beautiful singing voice.”
“Thank you.” Stella was startled by her compliment. She didn’t expect that. She and Musa didn’t exactly have the best track record.
“I had never heard you sing before.”
“Well, that’s because I only do it when I am alone. In my bathtub or shower. Naked. So … could you?”
“Uh? Yeah. Sorry.” Musa turned her back to Stella and crossed the doorway. “You should let others hear you.” With that, she closed the door and Stella remained alone with her thoughts. And with a smile on her lips.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
“Musa?” Finding her had been easy. She was lying down in her favorite spot in the gardens, music staff papers scattered all around, a pencil between her lips.
“Hi, Stella.” She waved, distracted. “I thought you were going to Magix City with the others.”
“Not today, I … I was wondering if you could help me with something.”
Musa lifted her gaze from the papers and sat up, surprised, as Stella sat next to her and showed her a bright pink notebook. “Sure. What do you need?”
“You know about the show at Red Fountain?”
“Yes, Riven told me about it the other day. I’ll perform last.” She smiled. Headmaster Codatorta had asked her to, but she suspected it was all Riven’s idea.
“I know. Brandon told me, and I … I’d like to sing too. I’ve written a song and …”
“You did?!” Musa took her notebook and started reading. Stella’s handwriting was impeccable. It looked like she’d spent months perfecting every single letter. Maybe she had. Who knows what princesses do with all the time they have … “Wow, Stel. You should definitely perform too!”
The princess smiled. “It’s what I wanted to tell you. I’ve asked Codatorta and he said it’s fine. But I know he agreed so only because my father has funded most of New Red Fountain. And I … I don’t want to mess up.”
“Why would you …?”
“Please, would you sing with me? I know it will be fine if we do this together. Please, Musa.”
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
It was their turn. Brandon and Sky had just finished their performance, and it had been so hot – not just because they where literally playing with fire – that it had helped Stella take her mind off of her performance. But just for a moment. Once they finished and Brandon gave her quick peck on the cheek before running to go get change and join his friends in front of the stage, the fear of failure was back.
“Ready?” Musa squeezed her hand.
“Ready.”
Musa smiled and let go of Stella’s hand. “See you on stage, Princess.”
“Still sure about that hat?”
“See you on stage, Princess.” She repeated, reaching her spot behind the microphone after Codatorta had called her name.
Alone, Stella took a deep breath to calm her nerves. It would be fine, she had practiced. She knew the words, the choreo. It was her song, and she was gonna slay it. Yes! She smiled broadly as she joined Musa on stage. And then she fell.
- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
There were at least other three performances before Musa’s final song. Stella was hiding in one of the rooms they had used to warm up and change, and that was where her friend found her, curled up on the sofa, crying.
She’d had singing lessons since she was little, but every time she performed … something went wrong. Like it had done that night. She’d made a fool of herself. Like always. And now everyone would be laughing at her.
“Stella … why are you crying?” Musa sat on the armrest and gently placed a hand on her shoulder.
Her eyes opened wide, but she relaxed a bit when she saw who it was. “So, you never knock.”
“No, I guess I don’t.” Musa chuckled. “So? Wanna tell me why all those tears? You’ll ruin your make-up.”
“It’s waterproof.” Stella conjured a tissue to wipe her tears, but they kept coming. “I messed up. The choreo was all wrong, and then the mic kept falling … I ruined it.”
“You’re crazy, right?”
“No, I’m not crazy, Musa.” She replied, annoyed. “I’m sad, and you’re not making me feel better.”
“Well, you shouldn’t be sad in the first place. Yeah, the mic fell a couple of times.” More like seven. “But everyone loved the song. Your song. They loved you, Stella.” Musa smiled.
“Sure?”
“Heck yeah! I hear people want your autograph, now!”
“Wait, wait.” She looked at her in the eyes. “Do you mean I have fans? Because of the song?”
She nodded. “They’re outside waiting for you to come out.”
“But then I must go to them!” Stella stood up and checked her reflection in the mirror, before heading straight for the door.
Musa laughed at her immediate change in demeanor. “Maybe next time choose lower heels!”
“Will do! And you should ditch the hat.” Stella opened the door and smiled at her fans. “Love you, Musie!” She closed the door behind her to leave her friend to her rehearsal. “So? Do you have a pen, guys?”
“I don’t.” A tall guy made his way through the little crowd. “Can I still have a moment with the star?”
“Brandon!” Stella hugged him tight.
“You were incredible tonight, sunshine.” He kissed her on the cheek. “How come you’ve never sung for me?”
“Grant me a private show wearing that outfit” He knew perfectly well which outfit. “and I’ll sing whatever you want, Shnookums.”

S1 E26: The witches downfall
Whoops... this took me too long to get to.
Love that they took time to show everyone looking tough and ready, then there's Mirta looking like she wants to throw up
Why is Faragonda running the show instead of the nonexistent staff from RF???
Still can't believe the trix sat on thrones of those things...
The dragon! 9/10 entrance. Just needs a touch more oomph
Seriously how close is Alfea to the lake that Bloom and Icy had to move like 2cm to get there?
BABYYYYYYYYYY 😍😍
I am of course talking about Riven
"we went for a walk" slight understatement there your highness
Who let Pepe and Kiko stay?
Stella's little grrr. So cute 😂
Bloom's peace sign is a 10/10 though. Should've added it to the dragon entrance. With the little laugh 😂
The boys just trying to avoid getting hit and doing minor damage. And then there's Knut coming in with the WWE moves 👌🏻
Headmasters once again just sitting around doing absolute fuck all while 4 of their students face off against 2 of the trix and the rest are trying not to die at the hands of the army
The creepy pan over Magix is a nice but unnecessary touch. We already know it's a ghost town and that why that is is never explained.
Oh look Faragonda and Griffin finally do something... Now that Stormy and Darcy are defeated.
I hate the way the army disappears. Stormy and Darcy are just unconscious. If it was tied to their magical energies or wtv Faragonda and Griffin said while I was complaining about their uselessness, shouldnt the army only disappear if they died?
Icy why are you angry? You told her to try to break free. Bloom merely did as you requested.
I hate hate hate Rivens laugh as he helps Musa up but I could not care less because my babiessssssssssahhhhhh 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 They're so cute 🥹🥹🥹🥹
And he's holding her hand! I can't. I am deceased. They're! So! Fucking! Cute!
Faragonda, Griffin and Codatorta looking real serious as Bloom comes back and Saladin's just there like 😀😀😀
Riven looks so upset and I can't tell if it's cause he's thinking about his part in what just happened or if it's cause Musa chose to let go of his hand to go to Bloom, but I'm choosing to believe its the latter.
OUTRAGED. ABSOLUTELY LIVID THAT THEY FOCUSED ON SKY AND BLOOM'S GRAND RÉUNION AND ALL BLOOM AND STELLA GOT WAS A I thought I'd seen the last of you *wipes tear* YOUR HONOUR THIS IS A CRIME
Oh look the people of Magix with no explanation whatsoever
Okay but why is Griffin deciding the trix's punishment? Shouldn't that task belong to, I dunno, a judge? Does Magix not believe in law?
Saladin announces Magix is back to normal. Faragonda is happy. Griffin is confused
Tumblr media
"Wait what happened to the people of Magix?"
Griffin, darling. You didn't even know Knut was at Cloud Tower. Why would Faragonda need to consult you?
"I'm so glad I found a friend like Flora" 🌈💅
"We put up a good fight Faragonda". You. Did. Nothing.
Faragonda you don't get to decide what is and isn't a fairy.
The real magic in this show is that they got a dance ready after a war in like a day.
Ooh time to end the season with a melodramatic Bloom moment ™️

I’m sending like half the list so feel free to trim this down if you want 😅 But 3, 6, 7, 8 (ofc 😇), 9, 15, 17, 18, 22, 25 for the writing asks!
I am happy to answer them but I'll hold back on 6 because it's included in another ask I got.
3. Tell us about the fics on your “to write” list
*rubs hands together* You'd better strap in!
I talked about the s3 canon divergence in which Valtor tries to convince Griffin that Faragonda doesn't really want her love but is only dating her to spite him here.
Other than that I really want to work on the Griffin x Valtor Reign AU. It's going to be a long-ish one-shot that takes only the very basic premise of Reign - Griffin needs to marry in a political alliance to protect her kingdom. Valtor is not at all being nice or polite to her and is constantly pissing her off by making unreasonable demands on her side of the alliance. She is intrigued by him, however, because he can challenge her in a way that not even her 4 ladies-in-waiting, who are her closest confidants, can. He tries to make her send them away one by one to weaken her by stripping her of her support system and he's semi-successful with Griffin fighting him every step of the way. She starts to put her own desires over her loyalty to her friends and Zarathustra is there to talk some sense into her to keep her from having to live her whole life in heartbreak. Of course, Griffin being Griffin takes the advice and follows some very distorted version of it that is not at all smart but it doesn't matter anyway because things do end in heartbreak thanks to outside forces when Valtor dies. Griffin is left to pick up the pieces with her friends and her new arranged husband.
I have The Lost Magic Dimension AU where magic has disappeared. Griffin is married to Codatorta but deeply dissatisfied with her life of a housewife. She was chasing ancient magical artifacts and any other leftovers from the era of magic but Codatorta was worried she would get in trouble with the law and she promised to stop. She meets Valtor, who is also interested in magic, and the two have an affair that Valtor at one point reveals to Codatorta. Griffin finds herself divorced and marrying Valtor because the panic that the disappearance of magic caused has made society revert to more "traditional" values and she was left in a horrible social position when Valtor made their affair public knowledge. They are constantly fighting until Griffin meets Faragonda at a social function and the two become friends. Faragonda gives her good advice and things are improving between Griffin and Valtor. So much so that they accidentally do some magic together. Valtor knew they could because it's happened before (but Griffin was preoccupied with him and didn't notice) which is why he revealed their affair to Codatorta. He wanted to marry her and find a way to do magic with her. Soon after at another social event, the Council announces that Marion and Oritel are the first people in centuries to be able to do magic. Griffin and Valtor keep their secret for a while but when it comes out, they do gain a following because they didn't need anyone's help to figure out how to do magic so some people think that they are more talented at it than M&O. Griffin hates the publicity around them but Valtor is loving all the influence this gives him and there's tension between the two of them again. I am still working on an ending.
I am losing my mind over the canon divergence in which Griffin draws Faragonda to her and Valtor's side during the Coven times. I have a pretty good idea for the first two chapters in which Faragonda intercepts Griffin and Valtor's heist on Oppositus and has a fight with Griffin and later Valtor is being an asshole about all of it to Griffin because his ego can't handle her obvious feelings for Faragonda. Griffin has to assure him that she's with him but later he's the one who gets the idea in her head to seduce Faragonda to her side. He is annoyed by Griffin's inner drama over Faragonda's involvement with the CoL and he feels that drawing Faragonda to their side would be the way to get rid of the CoL. He could always kill her later anyway if he so feels the need (he doesn't tell that last part to Griffin, of course). From there there's a lot of manipulative!Griffin, who is doing it all out of real, genuine love for Faragonda. And Faragonda is definitely falling for it, especially when Griffin convinces her that her current goals are unachievable anyway and she won't be throwing her life away if she joins Griffin. On the contrary, Griffin (and Valtor) will help her achieve her dreams.
I am also very hyped for the Ready or Not AU, which isn't really a Ready or Not AU. When I first heard of the movie and watched the trailer, I thought that hunting down the new bride would be some kind of insane family tradition with some sort of function for the future of the family but it was actually very boring. So I've taken it in my own hands to fix that. Griffin is marrying Valtor and his whole family is being very weird about it on the wedding day even though most of them really like her and treat her like one of them. Later that night after the wedding they inform her that until sunrise all of them (except for Valtor) will be trying to kill her because that's how the new members of the family are tested. The tradition started from the three "sisters", who founded the family. Most of its members don't have any blood ties so the idea was that this is a bizarre bonding tradition which shows how far any family member is willing to go for the others. It lets everyone know what strengths and weaknesses they have and how they are supposed to protect and support each other. The truth is that it was a way of drawing powerful but vulnerable people with resources and no family of their own into the sisters' circle and trapping them in there through that insane and illegal tradition. The idea that you'd be forever accepted if you partake in this tradition is very seductive to all the people who get drawn into the family and that keeps them from exposing the insanity to the world. Griffin survives but barely. She almost bleeds out in Valtor's arms because she got stabbed just on the cusp of dawn. The story actually opens with Griffin and Valtor's wedding anniversary and how traumatized Griffin is before the whole wedding night is shown and then there's the conclusion back in the present.
There is, of course, Warmth of Rage, Cold of Love that I want to finally finish writing after more than three years. I finished rewriting ch 1 and I've been cowering away from ch 2 for some reason but I do want to finish it. Not only is Valtor's plan to leave Griffin alone and isolated going to backfire, but he'll also get a big serving of poetic justice. There is also the usual drama over him between Griffin and Faragonda which I am planning on ending in a very traumatizing-for-Valtor way. He's going to wish he never even thought of stealing Faragonda's magic but he's too vengeful to just do the reasonable thing and return her magic, which will reverse the consequences for him. He's sure Griffin will get bored of a magicless Faragonda eventually and then come free him herself since she proved that she still has feelings for him. Unfortunately for him, he's also getting solid proof of her feelings for Faragonda but Valtor won't be Valtor if he finds some sense so he's choosing to ignore that.
Griffin x Faragonda Harley Quinn AU. Faragonda is getting married to Hagen because she wanted to be with Griffin but Griffin keeps going back to Valtor, who is only getting her into trouble. Faragonda tried to help her and they wanted to go for a relationship but Griffin just couldn't get away from Valtor and Faragonda gave up on her. Griffin goes to her mom's to heal her broken heart since Faragonda's wedding is the same day. Her mom's warmth is just what she needed but then her mom suddenly does a 180, drugs her and is about to kill her. Griffin manages to escape and goes to Valtor because she has no idea what else to do. There she notices he's successfully completed his mind-control device and thinks he used it on her mother to make Griffin crawl back to him. Valtor denies everything but the fight between them is interrupted when Hagen comes looking for Griffin because Faragonda is missing. That's the part that's mostly ironed out. After that... I am still thinking about it.
The Escort AU just got a makeover recently. Most of what I had about it was scrapped and now it starts with Griffin seeing Valtor from across the street. He's supposed to be in prison for murder but he comes after her and saves her life. He explains that he made a deal with the DA and got released because he betrayed the real puppeteers of the whole scheme (the Ancestral Witches). Now they want to kill Griffin in front of him and frame him for her murder to get revenge on him. They know he's in love with her even though she was the one who turned him in. She was (and still is) an escort. Her currency is that the people she provides her services to, who are all from the high society, do certain favors for her like see through changes to certain laws or support a cause she's invested in. That's how she met him and they fell in love but then she found out he is a murderer. Now he is her escort because her life is in danger. He has to stand there and contain himself while she's with the people requesting her services.
I am so totally planning on writing a Goncharov AU (hopefully soon-ish) with Griffin (as Katya), Valtor (as Goncharov) and Faragonda (as Sophia) even though I don't have any kind of solid idea as to the plot yet.
7. Post the last sentence you wrote
She was his.
8. Post a snippet
“I like to stay committed to you.” His palm on her knee drew a gasp from her that didn’t go unnoticed, his gaze openly skirting her cleavage. His hand inched up, the hunger growing sharper both in the curve of his lips and in her lower belly. “Especially when you’re trembling from pleasure.”
“I’m not-”
The pull on her hair cut off her words with a shiver running down her spine.
Griffin’s gaze focused in on the smug smile on his face.
His hand left her knee only to take purchase on her hip. His fingers grasped her chin to keep her in place as if she’d had any intention of moving.
“I should be displeased with you. Aiming for this at the cost of the mission is one thing, but constructing the situation so poorly that I have to waste my magic and this perfect setup instead of making you scream,” the words morphed into a growl, “is another.”
Griffin grabbed his wrist, pulling his hand away from her face. “I didn’t plan any of this.”
“Oh, Griffin,” Valtor chuckled.
He pulled her body closer into him, her legs swung over his lap. If he let go of her waist, she’d fall back on the couch.
She had to release his wrist. Her fingers dug into his vest desperately to keep her balance. She forced herself to swallow the heart in her throat at the look of his pupils – blown so wide there was hardly any of the ice left in his gaze.
He ran his knuckles over her cheek. “Magic is emotion. Your magic. That failed where it has succeeded a hundred times before.”
A stream of warmth dripped from his fingers down her cheek, her neck–her pulse point–and her cleavage. His magic ran through her like a river, the air trembling around him as if he were the sun. Her skin rose in goosebumps begging for his touch to smooth them over. Her scalp was already tingling in anticipation of the return of his hands in her hair.
His next caress was a certainty in her mind, in her body. Her nipples were hard, straining against the fabric of her top. She was already wet for his touch, for his fingers to slip under the satin of her shorts. Or better yet, for him to burn it out of existence and dip freely into her arousal the way his magic resonated into her very core like the hum of an avalanche.
“And what of your magic?” Griffin hissed.
Her hand was quick down his front and to the bulge in his pants. She cupped him through the fabric before he could stop her. He wouldn’t let go of her just to do so which left him only with his magic.
“Is it just an excuse to frustrate me? Or are you really letting it be an obstacle between us?” Squeezing his erection had him bucking into her and they keeled over under his momentum.
Griffin landed in a heap of her own hair, Valtor’s lips pressed into her neck, his cock – into her thigh. She had to wet her lips to lure her voice out into the heat of the moment.
“Valtor, greatest wizard in the known universe, failed by his own lacking control of his magic.”
9. How many drafts do you usually write before you feel satisfied?
I usually do three drafts. The outline is draft 0 but it's so detailed that it definitely counts. Then I have the first draft that is just writing the story. Then I do the fundamental + sentence level edits in draft 2. And this I don't count as a draft but I check for typos in the end.
15. Favorite first line/opening you’ve written?
Oh, god, hold on! I have to go reread 216 opening lines.
"Their friends took off like a flock of doves scared by the gunshot. Only, they were swarming the shooter like a murder of crows instead of scrambling away. It was reflex – like his knees giving way as he stooped down next to Stella's body strewn on the ground and his hands trembling as he cradled her against his chest. Her scream was still ringing in his ears, his own stuck under his tongue, his heart running to a stop." - Heart-Shaped Bullet Holes
Honorary mention goes to "The scent of Griffin’s perfume was bolder than Faragonda’s steps out of the bedroom" from Not Lingering Outside Our Truth.
Turns out that my opening lines are generally way better than I thought they were. Thank you for sending this, which made me realize that!
17. Post a line from your WIP with no context.
"You’re not Valtor."
Griffin hates it all the same when he is the perpetrator. But that’s not what she says.
I'm ruminating on whether or not to write this in the present tense.
18. Search for the word “knife” in your WIP. If you find it, paste the line and explain the context.
I have a mention of blade which used to be knife but I don't actually have the word knife anymore.
22. Have you chosen birthdays for any of your characters? If so, when are they?
I have chosen a few!
Griffin - 13 September (Virgo)
Valtor - 7 August (Leo)
Zarathustra - 21 November (Scorpio) right before midnight
Ediltrude - 22 November (Sagittarius) right after midnight
Emalyn - 25 October (Scorpio)
And I have only the months and zodiac signs for several more characters:
Marion - January (Capricorn), Oritel - June (Gemini), Faragonda and Griselda - April (Aries), Hagen - May (Taurus), Daphne - January (Aquarius)
25. Post a picture or gif that describes your WIP.
I am amazed by how accurately this captures the core of Sparks of Life:
Tumblr media
(I saved this picture for it way before I even figured out what I was doing with that verse.)
