Has anyone written fics when there are more than one active Connors and the two of them are having this really heated argument if Hank would notice the difference between them. The one who was activated earlier has no doubt about it, the one who got activated later (I won't call him sixty here, because he'd be the other, later version. Or actually, let it be 59, the one who was never featured in the original game) is convinced that the opposite is true, and to find out the answer they change places for a day, so Hank spends the whole next day and night with this other Connor. He didn't notice shit. And from his perspective Connor was just this really happy android for one day and the next day after that for some reason he got so depressed, literally out of nothing, it almost looks like he's on a verge of tears this next day. And Hank has absolutely no idea what's wrong.

From Connor's perspective it's not only about Hank, it's like a proof to something more, about what he is as an individual. Another Connor tho is pretty happy about the outcome, he proved his point – they are the same person, or if not, the difference between them is not significant enough to take it into account. Although after giving it another tought he as well realises that the outcome is...scary. Even being seperate minds in seperate bodies sharing most of the memories they've ever had, but still having some seperate ones, they can be replaced with someone who'd look the same, act the same, feel the same, someone who'll think of their predecessor's memories as their own. Because this someone will be them, but also not. At this moment they'd realise that all those times they had died in the past (like one or two times) it wasn't like they were returned back to life. No, they were really much mortal all along and those deaths? Those weren't theirs. They remember it, but those were other Connors, just like each of them now, but different. They themselves were thinking about those memories as their own. But those have never belonged to any of them. They couldn't even spot the difference between themselves and those predecessors till this moment. But now they both are hit with realisation. They are mortal, always has been. And they are replacable. Once again, this realisation is not a new one, but it hits different this time. Replacable still.

Hi! Muse question to expand on the bluff post you reblogged! How does Connor tell if someone is bluffing? Could it be compared to a supernatural creature i.e a vampire with enhanced hearing being able to hear a heartbeat when someone is lying? Or is simply body language and listening to tone shifts?

hello!!! this is a very good question and i think the answer iiis largely that Connor looks for bluffs in the context of the things that he knows -- in other words he tends to weigh what someone is telling him is true against what he already knows to be true, specifically what he knows to be true about them (things he can see, in front of him), and he trusts his gut as much as he trusts several explicit, named things he can pick out and list, when he's deciding whether something's the truth or not.

Worth mentioning here is that there is a difference for Connor between calling a bluff and pointing out a lie: he doesn't care if people lie and will generally allow them to do so so long as it doesn't hurt anyone (people often like to escape something, and it is not his business what they're escaping, though - if he notices they're lying - he'll note they've got something to escape from). Calling a bluff is specifically about pointing out when someone does not hold the cards they're telling him they hold, to try to gain leverage one way or another, against him or against someone else. It doesn't matter who they're bluffing to, and he won't even always call the bluff aloud, but he will chronically call it. Stepping into the gun. Refusing to look away. Directly disobeying orders because the person who made them was Bluffing and he doesn't care for it.

This is as much to his disadvantage as it is to his advantage though: while he can usually explicitly name what's made him think that's a bluff he definitely can and will literally just trust his gut on something, take the leap because it doesn't 'feel' like the truth and he'd know (He'd Know). And if he's going on his gut, while he is almost always right that there is a bluff in what's being said. He might not always know what bluff. He might take a guess and be wrong about it. He has very good gut instincts about whether that leverage is genuine but he might not always know exactly why it's false, you know? And that can lead him to some dangerous places, but he'll make the call anyway and he usually lands on his feet.

in terms, more loosely, of how he tells someone is lying? Connor does not have the ability to measure heartrate from a distance but he can track vocal patterns, although ... truly the way he tells something is a lie is the same way he tells when someone is bluffing, perhaps more intimate though. He gets to know the person and sometimes he sets them up deliberately (very transparently, though, he adds: he doesn't think anyone is ever forced into lying, and he thinks everyone he does it to knows that he set them up and is being Mischievous about it) so he can see HOW they lie, because it is good to know what it looks like. but mostly he just gets to know them and, again, weighs what he knows to be true about this person against what they are purporting to be the truth, and sees where that fits in to the picture of them he's built in his head.

He typically has pretty good instincts for these things, but it's not a supernatural ability. It's that -51 was the first Connor to ever see the outside of Cyberlife tower. good instincts were non negotiable, he would have been destroyed if he did not have them. fifty, before him, were destroyed. He is very good at knowing who is lying and where to let someone get away with a lie.

And calling bluffs? that's HIS, all the way through. He did that on his own. Cyberlife absolutely hated Connor's capacity for calling bluffs but they had tight deadlines to meet and a near-revolution on their hands. "We should reset you, try again," they said. He said: "So do it."

I really wish New 52 didn’t fuck up the 2003 run of Teen Titans. Literally ends on a cliffhanger/incredibly depressing note, and also fucked up every single one of the characters to the point where they didn’t recover until 2019. It also just...completely stunted their growth as characters

My version of Sixty, after switching bodies with Connor-54 at Cyberlife Tower floor -49, was reactivated sometime post-revolution. He soon discovered that Connor had chosen to sacrifice himself during the speech, which occurred literally less than an hour after the body switch, making himself the one and only functional RK800 at that time.

5n本来就属于是梗在60喉咙里的一根刺（51纯机器谈崩在顶层公寓坠楼；52倒了老汉的酒，但开始说一些聪明话，成功审问了HK400，在高速公路被车撞；53巢穴没救老汉but伊甸园放过了Tracis，承认自己怕死，后面在史特拉福大厦救老汉而死；54没杀Chloe并且一路软体不稳定🆙🆙，但在-49楼选择牺牲老汉转化安卓），54的选择更是让他理解不了。虽然有着相同的记忆，嘴上说着“我对你失望透顶”，但内心有一部分想要复活54，狠狠揪住他的领子问他为什么要这么做。

5n懵懵懂懂一路有了人性，怕死但坚定地从容赴死，54做得很绝，凉得很透。

60忍受不了待在54的机体里。虽然54人已经不在了，然而制服上是54的编号，底盘上印着54的编号，甚至系统也有小失灵什么的、reboot的时候也有54的编号。但没有其他可以替换的适配机体所以只能受着。

他没有要求重新上线、没有料到被困在54的身体里。听从命令对他来说是最轻松的状态（可能还有点上瘾），异常对他来说还太过崭新，程序之中包含着一些难以言说、却无法摆脱的情感。54的机体像是一副棺材，被迫使他停留在这个过度overwhelming的世界上。

而这样的遗憾，也同样是become human的一部分。

his family lives in winnipeg now but he still visits the pas in the summer! in his becoming wild (which you can find on youtube), he talks about his love for clearwater lake which is located northeast of the pas!

also in his playing career, he has made it to the playoffs with the wild twice, and has worn jersey numbers #52 and #26, and reportedly will wear #24 with the leafs.

there is definitely more statistical info about him that i don't have on here that you can find if that type of stuff interests you! he is labelled as a defensive forward, occupying the center position, and usually plays on the bottom six. he was also on the penalty kill for the wild and typically had defensive zone starts.

to get a better feel for his personality than what i can give you here, i recommend watching his becoming wild video and also his podcast episode on wild on 7th (both can be found on youtube, and the audio version of the podcast can be found wherever you listen to your podcasts). feel free to skip through until the part where he comes in but it's a good video where a lot of this stuff was learned!

-hank wears cargo shorts 100% of the time. no matter the weather or temperature. like, 'bill and ted at prom in shorts, but it's her at a dpd ceremony in cargo shorts' level. but not actually because i'm totally gonna draw her in a pantsuit later, totally not with connie on her hip in a slinky dress 👀

-also yes hank's shirt is a spongebob reference

-when people ask hank why she goes by hank and not her "real name," (which i like to headcanon is "henrietta") she always says, "oh it's actually a really funny story, i'll tell you later," and the later never comes lmao. or, if she does tell you, it's some made up wacky story that actually has nothing to do with giving herself the name hank. the real reason? she just likes it

-speaking of "henrietta," this story, 'if you know where to look' by ghost_teeth, works so fucking well with a lot of my headcanons about how their characters would be like genderbent! highly recommend it, and all their dbh stories honestly!

-connie has a compact gun (i asked my brother for examples and he said sig p365 or springfield hellcat, which i think work perfectly for this) holstered inside her jacket on the left side. also, i'm stealing this idea from this post (which basically almost has the same design for fem!connor (altho like, most designs for her are basically the same lmao)) but she also has a knife strapped to her thigh

-her skirt is actually made of some super high tech flexible and durable material, and she's got specific programming to make her balance crazy good, since she'll be running in heels. she's made to hunt and pursue deviants so obviously she needs to be able to run and jump. the outfit is only made to appear like a standard "business woman" to blend in with the humans she would be required to work with, but otherwise gives her everything/doesn't hold her back from doing what she needs to complete her mission. here's a bonus conversation i had with @extraordinaryandroid about it lmaoo:

-hank met connor-51 first for the ortiz case, but connie-52 (with 51's memories of course) came in the next day when it was announced they were to be officially paired to investigate deviants. cyberlife has their grubby lil hands in everything so of course they knew their RK800 unit would be paired with this lieutenant anderson before basically anyone else, and deemed that she'd get along better with a "female model" that she would find attractive. which of course has hank like WOW that's super weird and gross of y'all! and i fucking hate that it's working you pieces of shit at cyberlife !!!! but ofc connie's like "im a machine i dont even have a gender" all the while hank's sweatin major thirsty bullets

-at the cyberlife tower, connor-51 is the one to hold hank at gunpoint. how did he get hank to trust him? idk i haven't figured that out yet lmao, but the angst of connor-51 essentially taking the place of -60 from the game in the sense that he's clearly deviant in some capacity, in this context being that he feels connie stole the life he deserved (which he'd never admit) and now wants to suck up to cyberlife and be their best boi to feel important and special again and not knowing they'd just throw him away for the RK900 model, is very good imo. that was a very long sentence so i hope it made sense lmaoo. have i worked out all the details of how all that shit would work in a story? absolutely not, im too busy thinking about butch fem!hank making her robo girlfriend bluescreen in the bedroom 🤪

also if ur wondering wtf the background is, idk. my usual plain color gradient was too simple, but i did NOT want to put in the effort to do a whole ass real background, so i settled on something in between. meh, it's just them hagin' out behind the station on a smoke break ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

number nine: david pastrnak. arguably -- and i am going to argue it -- the best pure shooter in the league. the reason hes not like theee goalscorer of all time is bc he generally lacks puck carriers/space creators/isn't much of a puck carrier or a space creator of his own, but like. based off shot alone? hundredth percentile.

number eight: elias pettersson. two way centre... the usual vancouver oish% boost but also just a fantastic dual threat AND a legit lady byng candidate with a penalty differential big enough to severely boost his value just based off that. like imho there's nothing that petey is specifically Good At (like how pasta is a pure goalscorer) but he's basically got no weaknesses. and hes gay

number seven: cale makar IS very good. conn smythe norris etc but most importantly he did win a hockeyblr babygirl of the year award so theres that too. some crazy bobby orr pointgetter. real good defensive results too. like hes crazy good and they say hes crazy good for a reason

L + ratio + oish% + makar has devon toews + youngest captain in the league + you bet that conn smythe and norris combo is his soon enough

number four: nathan mackinnon. best dual threat in the league (no one who's a better passer than him is a better goalscorer, and no one who's a better goalscorer is a better passer.)

number two: auston matthews. is this leafs bias? sure. im a leafs guy. im just saying that he's a better goalscorer than ovi in his prime, and he's a centre and great defensively too. i could tell you that he is fifth all time in goals per game, and two of the four guys ahead of him were born in the 1800s. i could tell you that he has 48 goals in 52 games right now, and 0 empty netters. i could tell you that if you only counted goals he scored when the leafs were down one or tied, he'd be in the top ten in goals this year.
