Btw, not pictured in the above image but Ormen still has his rabbit into adulthood. Tailed are gifted a rabbit as a companion from birth, and are usually expected to kill it later in life.

He’s also labeled a ‘tail thief’ because in Tailed culture, being born without a tail is pretty much the worst thing you can be- and everyone in his litter had no tail, except for him, which of course means he stole his siblings’ tails. There’s only one thing worse than being a no-tail, and that’s being a no-good, wretched tail thief.

ALSO ABOUT THE TAILED: Generally, being born with more tails = more social status and power. And their masks aren’t actually masks- it’s a bony plate on their head! Their mouth is underneath it and their eyes are uh… somewhere else? Not sure where.
