Okay weeb tangents aside Last Wish is a good movie, still rooting for GDT’s Pinocchio at the Oscars sure but I still had a really good time seeing it with my sister in an empty theater. I do have one unorthodox thought though:

I weirdly miss Dingo Pictures, just to see what kid of nonsense they would do to cash in on it 😂. Like Charlie Cat would have to do some kind of weird favor for Hans that turns into a journey with him, Lucy, and Krummel with such obstacles as QUEST INTERRUPTING BEARS! and Balto…and unlike the movie proper he’s just some asshole and not the Grim Reaper, after all we all know the Grim Reaper of the Dingo Cinematic Universe would be Wabuu. I mean I would piss myself if I heard “a-shoopy doopy doo” whistled in a dark alley.

I really want chicken. I have some in the fridge, I just know I shouldn't eat it. I cannot have chicken. Not without extra antihistamines. But I love chicken, it's delicious. And I'm having a rather foxy sort of shift (kitsune, actually, but that is still technically a fox) and food is one of my big things with my kintypes and having shifty days and whatnot. This is like I make salmon (or other fish, but mostly salmon) when I'm feeling gryphon-y. But I cannot have chicken. It's not even so much the chicken I want as the tearing it apart with my teeth off the bone. But I cannot have chicken. I am allergic to chickens. Just the entire chicken. Can't eat them, can't wear them, can't spend any amount of time in enclosed spaces with live ones. If I do, I started itching and my eyes get puffy. This is true of birds in general. So I cannot have chicken.

But what's more the point than my determination to eat things I shouldn't: Who the fuck decided it was a good idea to bring a GRYPHON back as a human who is ALLERGIC TO BIRDS? What sort of fucked up cosmic joke was this? Really, universe? Really?

in other news, broke 25k today. i'm ahead of schedule, huzzah!

Lienzo squinted at the text. It was handwritten in a tight, spidery script that mashed into itself as it trampled across the page. Only the headline was clear. "...Runes?" "Yes! With the use of runes, or sigils, one could hypothetically..." Lienzo tried to pay attention. He truly did. But with no legible text to follow and the beast prattling on, building his explanations on foundations Lienzo barely possessed, if he had them at all, his mind swirled like kelp stuck in a boat's propeller. "...Lienzo?" "Yeah! Yeah, I'm listening. Runes. Areas of effect. Reduction of..." His mind was blank. His cheeks reddened. He slumped forward onto the desk with a moan. This was why he'd stopped going to school when he was eight. He squeezed his eyes shut and waited for it. "I'm sorry. I've been talking for far too long. I'm going to make coffee; do you drink it?" Coffee. He couldn't remember the last time he'd been able to afford it. "In what my maza calls 'disturbing and grotesque amounts.'"
