okay calling it now the body builder call is the catalyst for eddie to start dating again but not in the way you'd think. its a normal call, eddie's a little flustered he wonders why but at the end of the day he can lock it down to do his job, and so nothing really comes of it until they're doing their final checks and eddie gets talking to just a normal looking guy in the bg (depending on what the call is, he might have a little scratch or be shaken up or eddie's just talking to him whilst hen and chim finish up and buck and bobby deal with the equipment) and then they're about to leave and the guy gives eddie his number like "sorry ik ur working and its really inappropriate but i just had to try" and eddie takes it, a little confused, because cap's calling him and everyone's teasing him about it in the enegine/back at the firehouse (but not buck for the jealousy points) and the episode is my dear beloved queer eddie arc

u know like after watching all 5 eps of his man 2 that are out so far its so clear and apparent. that. like. literally sungho and junsung is where its at. like. i feel like sungho likes seunwoo obviously but there is just .... no spark ?? at all between them?? idk but the way sungho reacts to anything junsung does for him or says to him is so so telling. sungho gets so flustered and shy during their phonecalls he treasures the little things junsung brings for him like the diet coke and cookies he anticipated for junsung to see his little note he left for him and then when he saw the reply where junsung says "i wanna go on a date with you next time" he just says out loud "you should have woken up earlier so that we could have gone on a date" how sungho finds every little thing junsung does for him "cute" and then he places his hand on his heart and says "god i feel so happy what is this feeling" LIKE. it is so OBVIOUS sungho just ... doesnt react this way to seunwoo at all. sungho thinks he likes seunwoo bc seunwoo is his type whereas junsung isnt bc theres nothing similar between them but emotionally, junsung MOVES him. and yet they're roommates and they've already had so many little forms of interactions that are THEIRS and EVERYONE in the house can SEE that they both have a closeness between them that noone else in the house has with one another or with them (but id argue and say minsung and junsung and seunwoo and sungho would be VERY good best friends to one another) but. yeah. the way junsung has been so CLEAR and obvious in his pursuits and ways from day 1 that its sungho for him, noone else even comes close or matters and how he is CONSTANTLY telling sungho, choosing sungho, ringing sungho everyday and telling him "i miss you all day" and " i wanna go out on a date with you" and how GOOD and HAPPY and NERVOUSEXCITED and FLUSTERED that makes sungho feel .... sorry but .... its them.

My collection of the wacked-out dates and times on the phones in maws so far, in case any one is as deranged about this show as I am

In ep 1, the only hint of a date we get is that their first day of work is on Tuesday which like ok great (side note: Lois, why did you write your boss's contact name as Lois in your phone??)

But then in ep 2 we start to see what will soon be a repeating trend of Monday May 9th, meaning that it's been a full week since they started at the office I guess??

We also see that it's 5am when Clark is at his parents house after getting the suit in which I'm going to assume they actually meant 5pm bc it is most definitely the end of the day and not the start of one

Also, at the beginning of the ep Clark mentions that they're "here before work", but then 5 minutes later Jimmy's phone shows that it's 10am, suggesting that the gang doesn't even get to their internship until after 10am every day??

(also, the view-to-like ratio on the flamebird vid is wack, my head cannon is that Jimmy hacked it)

After ep 2, we don't get any more info on dates until ep 5 (unless I missed one) but we immediately start out with a shot of Jimmy's calendar showing that squatchin' time is on the 17th and 18th*

but in the same scene we get a shot of Jimmy's phone showing that it is most definitely Monday May 9th (again)

(also, Clark's alarm goes off at 6am in both ep 1 and ep 5, it's nice to see some continuity for once) (even if it's been established that the gang doesn't get to work until after 10am rightttt)

Then Lois mentions Clark was at the Daily Planet on August 3rd, which I guess suggests it's been a full year since episode 2, and it's now May 9th of the next year??

Overall the continuity is completely off the rails and I love them for it. Keep me on my toes maws, make me question everything!! I always get a lil chuckle looking at the phones, it's one of my fav things to look out for on rewatches.

And on one final note, the time that Jimmy got on the bus was 9pm, and then when he drops his phone getting "kidnapped by bigfoot", the phone also reads 9pm Monday, May 9th. Jimmy stops time confirmed?!??
