Devin Townsend Project / Fear Factory
1 Dec, 2012 - Tvornica kulture (Zagreb)
The Epic Industrialist Tour!
I looked forward to this show so much. The 2012 was filled with uncertainties on all fronts for me, but this show was a sturdy point in time that I could look forward to, whatever happens. I mean, seeing Devin AND Fear Factory together? Sign me up for it anytime.
I went there with my s.o. (fresh and new at that time <3) and some other people. I don’t remember much of Infernal Tenebra, sadly, I think we came inside in the middle of their show anyway.
Before Dev came on stage, there was the usual Vengaboys/Ziltoid medley paired with an on-screen display of the most glorious and ridiculous photoshop work made by us weirdos from the HevyDevy forums. One of mine, the Dev-Gollum with a poopy ring was displayed, and I don’t think I ever felt more pride in my entire life. Thanks, Dev! 😹
Then DTP came on stage with Truth, a very majestic start. The band was still the one with Brian, Ryan, Dave, and Mike hanging around, but the setlist was quite renewed compared to a year ago. They continued with Regulator, War, and Planet Of The Apes. I always thought that Deconstruction is pure chaos (it sounds to me like putting a brick inside the washing machine at full speed), but this song was amazing to hear live, as well as Juular later on. Supercrush and Kingdom were somewhere in the middle. The hand choreography taken from Retinal Circus had to be followed on Lucky Animals and Grace. Grace was also the last song from their set. What a nice, happy ending to the show!
Fear Factory followed soon after, and omg, was it intense. No fluff with these guys, they started with The Industrialist, and continued with Shock and Edgecrusher. I could’ve headed home by that point as these were my favorites, lol. Of course, we stayed, though. Resurrection and Demanufacture were also there at some point, and the show ended with Replica.
Rating: 12/10 epically industrial evening indeed

Yesterday we’ve safely wrapped up our showcase!
One after another, it was a stage that had the memories of our first showcase in Korea to strike at me again!
Also successfully finishing the stage, company dinner shot!!(Undoubtedly a shot of new life)

I never anticipated supernatural blogging for more than a couple of months back in 2020 so I only used one tag for all spn posts and now I am forced to do the grueling work of tagging destiel on 700 pages of blog
