The idea that Benoit Blanc went back home to his husband and complains about how pissed off he was when discovering the killer in the Glass Onion movie.

Blanc packed his best fucking outfits and was ready for a fun time after being in a bath for a week to then realize the killer is JUST A FUCKING DUMBASS.

Phillip would be listening to his husband complain while taking cookies out of the oven, satisfied that Blanc at least got out of the damn bath. Now to make sure that Blanc stays out of the bath and CLEANS UP HIS MESS is the next challenge.

Ok I'm gonna be honest I saw some mild spoilers about Glass Onion, specifically including that Benoit was gay, and I thought that was just a fandom well understood "should've been this way" kinda thing

But no

He really is gay. And in a relationship with a char played by Hugh Grant. Living together in the cutest fanciest little apartment.

It makes so much sense. I still didn't see it coming that it would ever be explicitly shown. These movies are so good, I'll happily watch them forever.

A thing I LOVE about Knives Out it's its clever foreshadowing and little references that the viewer will see again later but with a different meaning.

My favorite example would be the mug (the one that says "my house, my rules" or something like that). The first shot we see in the movie is the mug up close and later, when Marta is staring down from the balcony to the family, she's holding the mug and "coincidentally" her hands are covering some words, except for the "my house".

Call me biased. But for me, that is the pinnacle of cinema.

The piano key that Blanc kept hitting in the interview scenes was the F note. It also might have been meant to tell the detectives to ask about the suspect’s arrival and time at the party, perhaps to find a motive.

Harlan’s portrait was added digitally, as it was only finished by the time post-production came around.

Harlan’s expression in the painting also changes from a neutral face to a slight smile. This only occurs after Ransom is caught and Marta is proven to be innocent.

I just thought of another thing in the shower about how easy it was for miles to kill duke and how it further shows how little he care for anyone other than himself. (And Kinda shows how all his friends are self centered) and im not even talking about the emotional or mental toll it takes to kill a person.

Miles never originally planned on killing duke. At least not at the party. But when duke forced his hand all it took was for mile to poor some pineapple juice in his drink.

A Pineapple allergy which is apparently so severe a drop is enough to kill him

An allergy that miles was fully aware of but had no issue about still having pineapple juice with all the drinks, making it so so easily for cross contamination to happen. (Honestly up until the reveal i thought thats what happened, that his death was just a coincidence. A byproduct of miles apathy about his “friends” well being)

Dukes murder was just miles lucking out on his carelessness about having the perfect murder weapon on hand.

Side note: I could be wrong on this but its worth noting that the only person besides miles that seems aware of this allergy was his gf despite them all being friends for years

The biggest mystery in Glass Onion is why the hell andi was friends with Miles in the first place, like the shitheads didn't like him until andi made him likeable. Is it just because he was a non threatening white guy, that his "I'm not like other guys" schtick really work andi? I could understand why everyone else would fawn over him because I've met my fair share of Mileses and hated all of them, maybe he was super wealthy and she needed financing (because that kind of man is always from a well off family, no one that stupid and self centered can ever come from poverty, it has to be nourished in a privileged setting )
