In light of shifting perspectives relating to sustainable and inclusive fashion practices, disrupted supply chains, regenerative farming initiatives and an evolving employment market, it is time to reframe Fashion’s urban-centric perspective to better understand the growing dialogue around creative practice outside of the city.

Arts University Plymouth BA Fashion Design brings together a group of established and independent fashion design creatives to discuss making work - just where you are and building a networked creative community at the furthest edges of the Southwest in Cornwall, England.

Meet Rainbow Dash's Stand, Rainbow Factory!

Taking the form of a suit of armor, Rainbow Dash's Stand ability is all about manipulating velocity. The main way she does this is through velocity matching. By shooting rainbow-colored lightning bolts at objects from the dome-shaped modules on the armor, Rainbow Factory can either sample the velocity of an object or apply the velocity that was last sampled to another object. The boosters all over the armor can also use the sampled velocity to affect Rainbow Dash herself.

Any object under the effect of Rainbow Factory can also be gradually accelerated over time, either to change direction, slow, or speed up the velocity. This is not as instantaneous as the velocity matching ability, however.

Hypothetically, with enough Stand power, Rainbow Factory can sustain a constant velocity for an object, ignoring all incoming forces such as air resistance. Usually however, a sufficiently large and durable object can stop something thats been sped up by Rainbow Factory.

Overall, Rainbow Dash finds many uses for Rainbow Factory as a result of all its capabilities. She can launch projectiles, stop projectiles, punch at lightning fast speeds, pursue enemies, freeze people in their tracks, and surely much more.

God damn 11 months after announcing them, they've finally shared (unpainted) prototypes for the Vashwood Nendoroids

#ramblings of a bystander #trigun #vash the stampede #nicholas d. wolfwood #and they're specifically the #trigun maximum #designs. which they DID say at the announcement last Feb but you can tell it is from Vash's coat design #wondering if they're going to show more of them at next month's Winter WonFes? #wolfwood looks good here. vash less so but the angle is a bit awkward so not sure #also like. yeah yeah they're gonna be distributed by GoodSmile so they won't be Terrible #but i'm a bit suspicious of the manufacturer. chugai mining has done one other pair of nendos and six cheap chibi style figs #y'all better not do a shitty job. #yeah the paint job will probably be solid and the accessory accompaniment will be meager and they'll be overpriced #(as with all current nendoroids) #but i want those joint a good tightness! too loose or too tight pegs and joints are SUCH a pain

I think, legally, if a studio/game developer/publisher/whatever has the rights to an IP, but they go for five or more years without releasing any projects related to that IP, the rights to the property should return to the person who originally pitched or wrote it and they can repitch it somewhere else or continue it on their own as they see fit, or just keep the rights and know that nobody can butcher the property.

Obviously, companies should keep the rights to the projects they create while the IP is theirs and any characters or concepts that they introduced that was not the original creators idea should belong to their individual versions, but I think if more creators had the option to take their beloved brain child and walk if a studio decides they actually don't want to do anything with the IP, they should be more than capable of doing so.

This should also apply to cancelations without any plans for new projects AND media being removed from streaming and viewing should automatically return to the original creator.

#i just think if the suits dont want an IP it should go to the creator #once they decide they dont want to waste money making a certain franchise anymore they can enjoy the royalties from what they made #and give the rights to create more back to the original artist #companies wouldnt lose the earnings they get from streaming and distributing what theyve already done #they just cant sit on an IP that they have no plans to work on #and I know merchandising rights would be a pain #but they should be able to keep selling merch for the project as well alongside the creator #but they can only sell merch featuring the designs and concepts from their version they worked on #the original creator has the rights to any designs and concepts at the discretion of the original contracts they signed #or they just keep the rights to their original designs and concepts and things they make for it from that point on #it gets foggy there so I know why it isnt a thing #but Im so tired of seeing creators who want to continue their shows or movies but who no longer own the rights to the IP #and the company that does LITERALLY DOESNT CARE about the property

Just read an article about a study concluding there was no link between the covid vaccine and changes in menstruation.

The metric they used was the number of people who went to the hospital because of heavy menstruation.

Now, I am not going to claim that this entire study was conducted by folks who have never menstruated, because I have no data on the study designers.

But I am going to strongly imply that anyone who thinks anything short of actually bleeding out would get a menstruating person to go to the hospital during an airborne pandemic, and when almost all concerns about menstruation UP TO AND INCLUDING "I BLEED INTO MY ABDOMINAL CAVITY EVERY MONTH" ARE SHRUGGED OFF BY THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY isn't listening to people who menstruate and probably shouldn't be publishing studies that will absolutely be used as the basis for future medical decisions.
