Getting ready to head off to the California Dreamin’ Writers Conference. First writer conference in five years. It’s been too damn long since I’ve had a chance to spend a weekend with my tribe. (Well, one of my tribes.)

Tomorrow, Book Camp, where I’m going to be working what was my Tasertricks Secret Santa story for @djsugar, locking down my GMC (goals, motivation, conflct) before I start drafting April 1.

rosewood was cancelled. god i cannot express how much this show meant to me. we got Annalise Villa, a multifaceted nonsexualized Latina lead. we got Beaumont Rosewood, a sensitive, smart black male lead. we got Pippy Rosewood, a black lesbian who owned her sexuality and loved more fiercely than any character ever. we got TMI, a bisexual character whose sexuality was never picked apart, just accepted. now these compelling characters are gone and im SO upset. there goes the ONE show i truly enjoyed this year im so numb i cant even process this rn
