A probably shit writing idea but whatever im gonna post it anyway
Currently thinking about a story idea of two lovers in a resistence force fighting against an oppresser when one of them gets kidnapped and the other goes insane trying to find them
and eventually gets outcasted and betrayed by the resistence force as they get scared of the lover and think the other lover is already dead
so the betrayed lover becomes the anti-hero/villain and then a couple years later the kidnapped lover is returned but they no longer have their memories from before
and they meet their old lover and when the kidnapped lover says they feel like them and the antihero lover were close for some reason to save them both from the heartbreak again the now antihero lies and says they werent
and the kidnapped lover who is still in the resistence now that they've come back thinks the antihero lover is a cold and heartless monster cause thats what the resistence says they are
but then a resistence member who joined after the villain was betrayed ends up telling the kidnapped lover that apparantly there was a couple who one of them had been kidnapped and the other had turned a villain
and the kidnapped lover realises this is about them and the villain so they go to try and "reform" the villain without knowing that the villain had actually been betrayed and had done nothing wrong and the villain kept trying to push the kidnapped lover away because how could they ever be together again?
"I am the darkness and you are the light, and we cant be together, dont you see??? Those two things do not mix, and you are tearing me apart with your promises of forever when you know we are on opposite sides!! and i will not trade a life time of hell just for you to break my heart again, and i am on my own side so im begging you leave me, and go find someone who can love you without breaking"
Also this is queer

Nimona AU: Slave/Pet Shapeshifters
This is kinda dark? I guess? And might have some spoilers to the movie. So, ya know, proceed with caution.
In this universe, shapeshifters are actually used as pet/slaves. For a thousand years, the Institute has been taking them in from outside the wall and locking them in the castle where they go through training to then either help knights capture more shapeshifters or sold as pets to the nobles/richer people. The thing is, the knights have to go through a special training that is really hard and harsh and it is literally built to give the nobles an advantage, so although commoners are allowed in the tryouts, not one has even been able to become a knight, until Ballister Boldheart that is. The guy gets selected at tryouts along with Ambrosius, who is from the Goldenloin family, the family with the best records of trained and captured shapeshifters. They train together, fall in love, get together, yada yada yada.
The Director isn't happy with this though, and so she tries to set him up to fail. The knights have one last challenge which is to take care of and train a shapeshifter for a few months, and since the Director is in charge of assigning them their shifters, she gives Bal their hardest one to train who's been in captivity for years and still attacks knights who try to approach her: Nimona. (Her excuse is "Since he's top of the class and has record breaking grades, we might as well give him a challenge.)
Bal ends up doing really well with Nimona and they bond. So, the Director poisons Nimona with something that makes her go feral, escape, and she ends up attacking the queen, and it the midst of trying to get her off of the queen, Ambrosius ends up chopping Bal's arm off. They do some test on Nimona, find out she was poisoned, and immediately everyone turns to Bal as suspect number one and he's thrown in jail. Meanwhile the Queen is in a coma and Am is confused, sad and guilty. Except Nimona knows it wasn't Bal who poisoned her, but she doesn't know who it was, so she breaks him out of jail, they escape, and now they're trying to prove he's innocent.

Hey wait but the idea of miners having optics that (typically) have the sensitivity turned all the way up so they can see better in the dark, right?
Does this mean they can fuck in what would be to us and other Cybertronians utter fucking darkness, and they can see perfectly fine?

There's one thing I noticed about rwby critics
and I don't mean just the haters, but also from the people who do like the show: lack of consideration for circumstances.
What I mean is, often when I read criticism, even the one done in good faith, people are always ready to point at errors, or how things they thought important weren't properly shown or given the proper time, stuff like that, but I see almost no one stopping to wonder why is that and take that into account.
For example, someone complaining about, idk, lack of screen time and bonding for the bees (just humor me, it's the first thing coming into my mind). Like, let's say you think they would have deserved more time, what would you take away from the rest of the plot?
Like, every time I see a critic for a particular relationship, character, arc, anything, everyone is eager to say "it needed more screentime and development", but not so ready to find a way to make it work with the rest of the plot. Truth is crwby had to make cuts and sacrifices all the time to try ad put everything they wanted and needed into each volume, needing to give priority to certain plotpoints instead of others.
That's not to say it is an axcuse and that it can be applied for everything or in any show, but I do think some details and contexts should be taken into acount if you're so ready to talk about how "bad" something has been done.
Some people shoould take a step back and ask themselves "why is it that way?" before going to criticize something. If you claim to be objective in your judgment, variables and contexts must be taken into account

starter for: @fcundaticnsofdecay
muse: georgina "georgie" chamberlain
plot: forbidden smut... that's it. that's the plot
looking up at him through dark lashes, georgie sighed, "we shouldn't be doing this." never have truer words been spoken. he's everything she shouldn't want, yet she does. her father would go ballistic if he knew what georgie was up to, but she couldn't find it in herself to care. her hands moved over the fabric of his pants, cupping the impressive bulge while her lips connected to his neck, "tell me to stop." she mumbled against his skin, yet her words were refuted by her actions. "please, please, please... tell me to stop."

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again

Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

the funniest part of any Robin meeting the JL is that every Robin is so distinctly different from the previous one in terms of personality and vibes that the league literally gets backlash. and like, I don't blame them. not to mention that they are non-meta children that dress as a traffic light and fight crime alongside batman in gotham on a nightly basis. i'd also be a bit concerned.
Batman, literally The Night of Gotham personified in the League's eyes, coming into a JL meeting: This is Robin, my crime-fighting partner.
11-year-old Dick Grayson, dressed in the brightest primary colours possible, vaguely hidden murder behind those eyes, never stops moving even for a moment: Hi!
Superman: That's a child. That's-- Bats that is a child. You let a child--?
Batman, deadpan: You try to stop him. Would you rather he try and murder a grown man with a wire?
Batman: This is Robin.
12-year-old Jason Todd, with the biggest grin on his face, about 3 books in his hand, stars in his eyes and a distinct street-kid drawl: Hey!!!
Green Lantern: That's ... that's a different child. What??
Jason: I stole his tires :)
Batman: Tried to.
Jason, stage whispering to the League: basically did.
Green Lantern: that is a different kid, right?? I'm not seeing shit??
Batman: This is Robin.
14-year-old Tim Drake, bo staff clutched in his hand, a wary and tired expression on his face, more on the quiet side, the literal walking definition of don't judge a book by it's cover: hello
Flash: Where do you even find these--
Tim: I found myself.
Batman: This is Robin.
17-year-old Stephanie Brown, literally blonde, with a shit-eating grin, eyes full of nothing but mischief and the most explosive personality you've ever seen: hiya!!
Superman: I give up.
Stephanie: I know, I have that amazing effect on people.
Batman: This is Robin.
13-year-old Damian Wayne, a literal wet cat that will hiss at you, has a sword, the most judgemental stare you'll get from a teenager, ready to jump anyone there:
Green Lantern: WHY DOES HE HAVE A SWORD?!
Batman: ... he came with the sword.
