Skip has always found a way to work through his problems and turn them around with relative ease, but the sudden death of his wife, Brandi, has brought his mostly carefreeness towards his children to a stand-still. With two freshly traumatized children and a newborn under his belt, can Skip juggle turning his shitty ass life around for his family, or will he crumble under the weight of his past mistakes?
Darleen hasn’t been the same since her husband, Darren, died, though she’d be quick to argue with you if you said anything of the sort. She’s FINE! She misses her husband, undoubtedly, but she’s not going to let that very, very, very tiny thing wreck her whole life, and she’s not going to let people give her grief about ANYTHING. Sure, she got fired from her job a few months back and hasn’t made any strides to find a new one, and she’s losing touch with her son as she goes and squanders all her responsibilities by partying and drinking on par with younger years, aaaaaaaaaaaaand the almost obsessive idealistic crush she’s developed on her neighbor is clouding the second half of her judgment, but she’s bounced back from worse and knows everything’s going to come up Darleen :) …………. hopefully

Question: How would Eclipse feel if the babies, randomly vanish... Only to find them with Forkface of all people? Probably sitting right outside Eclipse's lair with no context, no words, just quietly sitting there playing with the two or watching them play.
Could go either way in regards to how Eclipse is... It's not like Forky is an ally to Sun and Moon, they both loathe the guy. He seems almost as lonely as Eclipse is... He's just not hiding it.
Well considering Solar is far... i would more emotional. He'd probably be crying, Lunar would cry only cause Solars crying but trying to be a brave baby and bap forkface for taking them outside without dad (...hypocritical given they do that on their own). Lunar would considerably calm down if Forkface pets him tho. So technically its fine. Lunar would find Forkfaces scary face funny. (you know when he opens his face plates).
EcCLIPSE RUSHING OUT OFT HE BASE... WHO- what is that- WHY- HELLO???
I genuinely think unlike Solar, he'd be weirded out like Moon and Sun vfbksj (a connection they have but he'll never admit). Forkface only wanted to chill with the babies tho.
Forkface offering babysitting service tho because hes neither anyones ally or enemy.

I finally got around to watching the clone wars so here are some Ahsoka and Anakin headcanons that wont leave my brain
They both steal each other's stuff and complain when they catch the other one doing it
As Anakin’s hair grows longer he finds himself looking for hair wraps or something to push it back
And he stumbles on Ahsoka's stash he borrows them mostly when she’s off on a mission so she won’t complain
But she suspects him of doing so cause they’re never in the correct spot he also steals some of her simpler hand wraps when he’s training
Ahsoka's just as bad tho she’ll steal Anakin’s cloaks and shirts all the time cause for some reason the council failed to give her comfortable clothes
It all comes to a head when Ahsoka is debriefing the council and Anakin and she stops and goes “Is that my head wrap?”
The change of topic is so abrupt that no one reacts for a hot second
And then Anakin goes into full-on defensive mode like “What? No your device must be defective cause this isn’t yours”
Which Ahsoka calls him out because “Jedi’s don’t lie so just come clean sky guy I know that mine. And are those my kriffing hand wraps?! Take those off you’re gonna mess them up!”
Anakin is still defending himself and Obi-Wan is stepping in scolding them for using this line for their petty and selfish arguments
And then Anakin says “Wait snips is that my cloak” “Don’t change the subject just cause you got caught” “No no you can’t talk about getting caught you little hypocrite that’s my cloak!”
Obi-Wan is still chiming in half-heartedly but he knows better than to stop a full-on argument between those two
Especially when they’re throwing each other words back at them like “I thought you said I should keep warm” “And I thought you said I need a hair wrap with all this hair”
The argument only ends cause Windu threatens to hang up the com
After the debriefing ends Anakin calls Ahsoka back and the argument starts right back up again
Ahsoka always gets ready with her music playing
And Anakin in true big brother fashion doesn’t want Ahsoka to know he likes her music so instead he’ll just turn on their version of shazam and stands by the speaker in what he thinks is a normal fashion
It always goes something like this “Master what are you doing?” “What do you mean snips I’m not doing anything” “Oh so you’re just standing in my doorway with your device on for no reason” “Yep” “Okay when well have fun”
And in bratty little sister fashion she turns off her music and lights and leaves him in the doorway
Later on she makes a playlist of all his favorite songs and sends a link to it
All she hears is a grumbled “thank you” from the other room
Anakin also plays his music out loud sometimes and it took a small amount of time to realize the songs Ahsoka complains about the most are her favorites
He adds them to their shared playlist and ignores her when she plays those songs more
Over time they make a lot of joined playlists
Some to work out and train to, some to hype them up before a mission, some to wind down after a mission, some to play when they have nightmares
It’s something that they both enjoy more than they probably should
Obi-Wan jokes that some of those playlists will be the death of him
Ahsoka runs abnormally hot to the point where she could wear shorts in winter and Anakin runs cold enough to be confused for a corpse
Obi-Wan Padme and Ahsoka all agree that he needs to get checked out cause no way is it healthy to be that cold
They're both fine in their rooms where Ahsoka can blast the AC and Anakin can turn the heater up as high as he needs
But the common room is where the bickering happens such as “Jesus snips I didn’t realize we lived on Hoth” or “I’m so sorry master that every room can feel like Mustafar”
I also know that they both get nightmares like Earth-shaking soul shattering nightmares
Some where they get abandoned some when they can’t save each other in time and some where they have to kill each other
Not a lot of words need to be said when Ahsoka wakes Anakin out of a dead sleep with tears in her eyes or when Ahsoka wakes up cause Anakin is checking in on her for the third time that night
They both just grab as many pillows and blankets as they can carry so they can make the world's best pillow fort
Obi-Wan has grown accustomed to finding them cuddled up on the floor while the credits of a shitty old movie roll in the background
When they get older I feel like they unlock the childhood nickname status
Don't get me wrong snips and sky guy are their normal nicknames and will never go away but those are mostly used when they’re out in public or on the battlefield
When they’re around people they trust like Obi-Wan and Padme you’ll hear questions like “You good Ani?” or “Be safe Soka”

I love all of your analysis of these two losers ❤️ I have yet to read the full essay (soon! I just need time) but have you done a part on this NPC who talks about (supposedly alhaitham) a big guy buying crates of wine and muttering something about it being enough for an apology?
I can't remember exactly where but it was a merchant in either sumeru city or port ormos. I'm leaning on the city and possibly in the inner market near the theatre. I'll try looking tomorrow and send you another ask
Hiya! Thank you so much for your ask! I’m so glad to hear you’re enjoying the haikaveh brainrot hehe, we’re all in the basement together! <3
I know the one you’re referring to! This should be it, it’s from a vendor in the Grand Bazaar:
I didn’t mention this in the essay because of it being speculatory, but I’m more than ready to speculate here. I agree, this is most likely an inference to Alhaitham, not only considering his status as a Mahamata but also due to the fact that it’s an integral part of Alhaitham’s character that he prefers to be unknown. Even when he serves as the Acting Grand Sage, people don’t typically recognise him due to how little known he is despite his primary role as the Grand Scribe, as seen in his story quest. This would align with why the vendor admittedly has no idea who this particular customer was.
Drinking, particularly wine, can also relate to both Kaveh and Alhaitham, as this is an activity they both partake in together. Alhaitham’s voice-lines express that he likes to have a drink after work, along with his demo showing him drinking wine with Kaveh, Cyno and Tighnari, and him apparently stealing Kaveh’s beer in A Parade of Providence. Similarly, Kaveh also states his preference for drinking in his voice-lines, as well as his overindulgence in this hobby being highlighted in his hangout. Additionally, the furniture item ‘Monthly Frustration Be-Gone’ references Kaveh buying expired wine in order to get a discount.
Since this is an NPC conversation, it’s also worth noting other external worldbuilding details, such as the bulletin boards of Sumeru. In the three exchanges Alhaitham and Kaveh have, all of them reference drinking in some way, in that Alhaitham typically indulges Kaveh by paying for his tabs – revoking this only when they have a disagreement. Lambad also notes that Alhaitham and Kaveh go drinking together, as well as Kaveh picking up wine ordered by Alhaitham.
Alhaitham buying wine for Kaveh to make up for some disagreement between the two aligns with all these established details. When considering the typical exchange of Alhaitham refusing to pay for Kaveh’s drinks when Kaveh disagrees with Alhaitham’s views, it makes sense that it would also work in reverse – as in, when Alhaitham trespasses on Kaveh’s views which leads to Kaveh’s upset, Alhaitham would buy him drinks to make up for it
Alongside this, character description wise, there is no other convincing contender as to who else this could be? Alhaitham uses the tall male model, and is the only tall, relevant member of the Mahamata that the player is aware of.
Given all these context clues the game gives us, I’d say, yeah, this is our resident loser Alhaitham!!
If I’m honest I think about this dialogue a lot :DDD so thank you for giving me an excuse to talk about it hehehe I hope you enjoy the essay when you find the time :’) <3

One thing I'm interested in seeing more of is how Chayanne is handling his newfound responsibility of keeping an eye on Tallulah. Since the start, Phil has been repeatedly saying, "Don't worry, Chayanne and I can take care of Tallulah," and he's been constantly reminding Chayanne to protect Tallulah whenever she's around. Now, we know Phil would never blame Chayanne if something were to happen to Tallulah, and he doesn't believe at all that Chayanne is at fault for anyone getting hurt or dying (ex: Phil trying to reassure that Tilin's death wasn't his fault). For him, saying "Chayanne and I can take care of her," is his way of expressing pride in Chayanne's capabilities as a warrior and how far he's grown into his skills. Phil is proud of Chayanne.
However, Chayanne could very easily being interpreting Phil's statements of "Chayanne and I can take care of her," and constant reminders to keep an eye on Tallulah as, "Phil and I both have equal responsibility in Tallulah's well-being and if anything happens to Tallulah, it is at least partially if not completely my fault." Phil saying "Chayanne and I" could be unintentionally placing an equal burden on Chayanne's shoulders, from Chayanne's point of view.
To be clear, I don't at all mean to go throwing around "Bad Dad Phil" accusations. Phil clearly adores Chayanne, and he wouldn't consciously put Chayanne under that kind of pressure. I really think that this is a case of poor phrasing and miscommunication.
Regardless, that's a lot of stress for a kid, especially considering how close he and Tallulah are. Now, we don't really know what's going on in Chayanne's head---he might not be thinking this at all---but the way he reacted to news of Tilin's death makes me think that he is. In any case, I'm curious as to what will happen if Tallulah were to get separated from them or (god forbid) die. I wonder how Chayanne will handle that.
