every kid in this fandom MUST have their au phase where they make aus of this stupid skeleton, and I FINALLY got the courage to make one!!

I lied actually... I have like 6 sans/skeleton ocs... and 2 of them are self inserts... BUT ANYWAY this guy is the only one I posting publicly atm

btw this reference specifically is really old (I started drawing this in like- 2021/2022 I guess?? Idk honestly) but I never actually finished it till recently bc, yeah, I got super lazy... ironic isn’t it? I don't even draw Sanses like this anymore -_-

THIS HANDSOME FELLA IS- IS- is...

he does not have a actual name yet...

I mean- I call him Dreamer!Sans but I'm not really sure if I'm gonna set with that yet, since I don't actually have a story/plot for him besides his purpose in the multiverse, but I do have some other ideas ;]

Dreamer!Sans is basically a protector of dreams, he protects mostly the realities of dreams (or the Dreamscapes, is what I like to call them) to make sure everyone from his au and multiverse have sweet and safe dreams.

Theres this things called Night Spawns or Nightlings who feeds from peoples nightmares and trauma while they are asleep. They oddly look like spiders... Dreamer is responsible for defeating these pests.

"But why?" you may ask.

Well... the Nightlings "power" to manifest bad dreams in your sleep can cause you depression, anxiety, paranoia, and much more, if they stay too long attached to someone, AND since they are really hungry they are trying to consume the dreamscapes of the person they are attached to. If they succeeds, one may never dream again (or woke up, in other words)

"What are Dreamscapes?"

Every time someone dreams, that person's consciousness is "transported" to this place, and each person has their own dreamscapes!! They are directly connected to people's consciousness and that is why they are so important.

Hes mostly like classic Sans, very lazy, laid back/relaxed, and he enjoys puns a lot

but it's a little more extreme-

• He is always tired and cannot stay awake for more than 20 minutes without falling asleep again

• He aways looks tired/sleepy

• Sometimes he sleepwalks, he can do unbelievable things while he's asleep, from knitting and cooking to physically fighting or writing a quantum science research, all unconscious!

• For some reason sometimes he sleeps in super specific and random places, once he slept for two whole days inside Nightmare!Sans' castle and no one ever noticed... strange right? He wasn't even in a room, he slept in the kitchen storage the entire time lol

• He has been in and out of so many people's dreams that he probably knows EVERYONE, he has an incredible memory too!

• Sometimes he can't tell if he's really awake or if he's still dreaming, so he doesn't usually take things around him seriously. Which can make other people upset or annoyed that they're not being taken seriously.

• He learned to never try to find meanings in dreams that don't make the LEAST sense, and since he cannot distinguish which reality he is in because he is almost always dreaming- he will always accept anything absurd you propose to him.

You wanna make a birthday party for a giant unicorn baby? sure sounds fun.

You think Shrek is upset and needs help? yeah lets cheer him up.

Several alternate versions of him are fighting for some bizarre reason he doesn't understand?? yeah ok he can help, he don't mind.

Well thats it! These are my ideas and thoughts about this Sans I created, I might and probably will add more things about him and his story later in other posts, can't wait to finally see his au takes more shape hehe~

An attempt at concept art for the beginning of the Dreamtale AU that rn I'm calling Dreamertale (I know I'm extremely creative and totally good at naming things lmao. Might change it later we'll see).

#In this AU the monsters aren't trapped underground after the war but rather confined to their own walled in territory on the surface. #This wall btw is ancient and strong and tall as shit. Frisk's hands bleed so much from climbing it. #Within this territory is the “Tree of Mind” kind of this aus version of the “Tree of Feelings” from Dreamtale but pretty different too. #The Tree of Mind is powerful and almost like it's own character. It purposefully makes the monster's walls very hard to find usually #It's connected to emotions but also consciousness and the universe's very code. #If the tree ever were to die reality would basically be fucked. #Using it's connection to the universe's code it purposefully makes it so the walls are hard to find and that getting there can be deadly. #However Frisk finds the walls no problem and climbs them anyways partially out of curiosity. #Anyways you're probably gonna be seeing more of this au so be ready bc I've got ideas sdujfhasldikfj #dreamtale au #my au #dreamertale #concept art #my art #frisk #mine

Hmm not sure...I don’t really pay attention to all the various AU Sanses and such out there. Guess it also depends on if we’re talking a specific song by a specific artist, or one that’s been remixed a few times? First that comes to mind is “Parasite” by Stormheart, which is a jam.

I need some help! I’d like to find some lyrical undertale character-based songs! Especially for Asgore! I know quite a lot for other characters, and they inspire me, even if my story doesn’t match canon undertale. (I would prefer canon recommendations though.)

Log 5: Time to Think

          The familiar shut of door was my cue. I left my room and grabbed some cereal; dealing with horrifying dreams that lead to not sleeping makes one hungry. Slurping milk from my bowl, I finished up and settled down at my desk.

           I wanted to be thorough about this. I didn’t just want to know about recurring dreams, I needed to end it. Starting with the most reliable internet source, Wikipedia, I moved on to several different sites and looked at causes and statistics. I’d found they’re usually linked to common themes and tend to be stress related and/or about unresolved conflicts. This made the dream make less sense to me. Sure work bummed me out, but wasn’t really stressful. Maybe it had to do with school? No, then wouldn’t it be about failing an exam or being late? The common theme was Undertale; okay, why? What the hell did that have to do with anything?

           Was the unresolved conflict the fact that I didn’t do the hack ending in Undertale? I knew what happened because I’d read it up online, so it seemed unnecessary. Was the stress of the genocide route coming back to haunt me? Sans is involved in that, and he was fucking dead in the dream, so maybe that was the answer.

           It seemed like the more answers I got, I ended up having a hydra of questions. Chop off one head, two take its place. The hours passed, and my tab count grew. The final nail in the research coffin was reaching some weird Freud worshipping blog that basically boiled every answer down to, “You want to have sex with your mother”. After about three hours of article reading and college paper skimming I was able to narrow the cause down to basically anything: terrific.

           Finding no answers on that front, I figured it was best to move onto ways to stop it; somehow looking that up gave me less to work with than before. Surprisingly, if people don’t know how something happens, ways to stop it don’t really exist. 12:04 PM, and I was as close to figuring this junk out as when I started.

           Starved for knowledge and food, I took a rest from my super advanced scientific research and grabbed some left over spaghetti in the fridge. Watching the spaghetti bowl spin in the microwave, my mind began playing the guessing game. Before starting, I had to congratulate myself on my extensive research session. I hadn’t focused on something like this since I was forced to in high school.      

           From what I could gather, general consensus claimed that something that’s on your mind and buried deep in your subconscious causes dreams with a theme. This made the most sense to me, since Undertale was something I thought about a lot. It was kind of hard not to since I have an admittedly unhealthy obsession with it. Figured I’d have dreams about it sooner than this though, but better sooner than later?

           I also found dreams that make you feel sensations and other weird stuff are possible, but you can’t be hurt. So that made sense, I hadn’t been hurt in them; a lot of other stuff was getting messed up though. Microwave dinged, spaghetti time; still had absolutely no idea how the hell I was ending this fun experience I was going through, but at least the pasta was good.

           Done researching and done eating, I began to realize how tired I was. I didn’t really think sleep was best, but heavy eyes change your mind really quick. Maybe being more self-aware about this stuff would help me sleep and not have these crazy dreams anymore. I opted against it though and decided to stay up. I didn’t want to ruin my sleep schedule, especially with class tomorrow and all.

           I decided to migrate to the couch and spend some time on Shovel Knight. I had yet to beat hard mode, and I was feeling good about my chances. About two hours pass, and my progress has done very little except beating King Knight and Specter Knight. There were also the rising salt levels I was dealing with, but that usually came with the package.

            Turning off my Wii U, I was left wondering what to do. I had all this time to myself, but I didn’t really want to do anything. Just keep cycling through these thoughts in my head. It couldn’t have been healthy; I need something to take my mind off of it. I headed to my room and raided my dresser for some pants and a shirt I’d be okay with wearing in public.
