I think I finally pinned down just what's so annoying about Warren
Even though he makes some pretty good points in his lessons, he immediately makes everything about himself
Obviously the song he sings is about himself, but even the story it tells shows how selfish he is
I think he tried to get his coworkers wrapped up in a pyramid scheme and that's what got him fired? (Maybe??) And he's mad at his old "friends" for not going along with it (and probably telling his superiors too)
The whole situation with the brain friends is pretty obvious too, I mean he plays his own podcast for god's sake
He even corners the shy older brother specifically to talk about his podcast more because he knows the brother won't do anything to talk back like the others did
Anyway TLDR: He's a selfish prick who tries to mooch off of others and doesn't listen to his own advice (as Yumferdinker said, he SUCKS)
shout out to @blogexplosive13 for finding this great little reference/bit of backstory for Warren the Eagle in episode 2, ‘Death’! i reckon we all knew that Warren’s not being ‘technically affiliated’ with the OK Stop organisation anymore was not due to an amiable split, but the confirmation that it was his active harassment is great to know 😭💖
you know, perhaps Warren associating himself with an eagle has a more practical motive...if his firing was scandalous enough to be front-page news, then of course he wouldn’t want to be known as ‘the worm that got fired for harassment.’ that also makes sense as to why he repeatedly protects himself by emphasising that he isn’t with OK Stop anymore - it may well be a legal issue!! 💀
Hello! Do you happen to know which nebula it is in the background of the first scene of s2? I wasn’t sure if anyone had identified it or if I should start trying to match it up with some NASA pics…
If no one has identified it, do you have any nice clear images of it?
Hiya! :)
These are the Pillars of Creation in the Eagle Nebula in the Serpens constellation,
I've been doing a daily Peng challenge on Twitter and here are 2 of my fav pages so far (one with Peng and the hooded figure and the other is just Peng chilling in the forest after S4 LMK)
i haven't seen anyone mention this so i wanted to talk quickly about the nebula that is in the center of all that space angel crowley makes
it looks like the "pillars of creation" (which is quite a name in terms of symbolism) in the eagle nebula, which makes sense because it's one of the most recognizable nebulas probably
but here's another thing, the eagle nebula is in the constellation serpens ("the serpent") which is just a lovely little coincidence alluding to crowley's eventual fall
