Eddie Munson - Belt
“Stay still!”
“I am!”
“Don’t move your head too much.”
“I know—ow!”
“Sorry, sorry, you’re making me nervous! How does that feel? Can you feel it? Does it hurt?”
Wayne Munson stilled as he walked past his nephew’s closed bedroom door, mug of coffee in his hand.
“No, if I just stay slack it doesn’t hurt.”
“Okay, stay perfectly still, I’m gonna try again.”
Every fiber in his being was screaming at him to walk away, but the parental figure in him told him the funny business clearly going on under his roof probably shouldn’t be going on when he was around…especially if you were getting hurt.
No. No, he could not walk in and see something he didn’t want to see, he wouldn’t recover from—
“OW!” You cried out and Wayne was moving on autopilot, pushing the door open to set his nephew straight. His hand flew to cover his eyes to ensure his vision and sanity remained intact.
“Wha’s goin’ on in here!?”
“Nothing! Nothing!”
“It’s not what you think! She’s stuck to my belt!”
It got quiet and Wayne slowly lowered his hand. Both you and Eddie were fully clothed but your predicament implied you wouldn’t have stayed that way had divine intervention not taken place.
Eddie was sitting on the edge of his bed and you were kneeling on the ground in front of him, head in his lap and hair caught in the cinches of his belt from having turned your head a little too soon when you’d been pressing kisses to the skin just above the button of his jeans.
Eddie was wide-eyed, hair a mess and cheeks a vibrant shade of pink while you were staring at the wall, mortified to have been caught in such a predicament. You’d never be able to make eye contact with the older Munson ever again.
Wayne lingered in the doorway awkwardly, eyes roaming about the room to avoid having to look at either of you.
 “Do I wanna know…?”
It was silent for another beat.
“No.”

Part 2 here :)
. . . .
Eddies eyes followed you as you walked down the aisle of the cafe. Your tray in one hand and an English book in the other.
He watched slowly as your eyes pointed straight ahead, not even glancing at him. Not that he had expected you to.
You, being “Hawkin’s Pride and Joy” would never give him the time of day. Not with your grades or social standing. And it was pathetic of him to even hope you would.
And yet still, you had given him the time of day.
Four weeks ago, to be exact.
He was in the library, a place he rarely was, trying so hard to study for Mrs. O’Donelle’s next test. It was getting late, nearing eight, and he knew he should get going.
But still, he had no idea what this test was even on. He stared blankly at the test review page in front of him. Hoping if he stared long enough, it would somehow make sense.
But, it didn’t.
He let out a long, dramatic sigh. Flinging his head back and rolling his eyes.
Normally, he was sure someone would have shushed him or given him a dirty look for all the commotion he was causing. But no one was in the library at that time, he knew that no one would be as dumb as him to stay this late-
“Excuse me,” a voice behind him said, “Is that seat taken?” You asked so politely as you pointed to the seat next to him.
He jumped, startled by your soft voice.
Your eyes stared down into his, you had your normal amount of makeup on, but the lipgloss you wore made your lips stand out more to him. You wore something so casual, a normal every-day-outfit, but still, everything about you screamed polished, pristine.
He gulped, nodding before saying, “N-No, it’s not.”
You gave him a small smile before setting your bag and books down next to him.
Up until that moment, he had never truly given you the time of day, never looked in your direction, never even thought about you.
And yet, here you were, sitting next to him, almost elbow to elbow.
You turned over to him smiling, “My name is Y/N, and you’re Eddie right?”
He gawked at you for a minute. You remembered his name? What mythical world was this?
After a very strange and long silence, he finally said, “Uh-yeah, yeah that’s me. Eddie.”
God, he wanted to shoot himself.
But you just smiled at him, “That’s cool. What test you’ studying for? Mines for Pinleiy, his class is seriously kicking my ass.”
His eyebrows quirked up, he didn’t expect someone like you to swear. And yet, he also didn’t expect you to sit with him.
“O'Donnell,” he said, a bit quietly.
You groaned, “Oh my god, she’s such a bitch! I hated her class. She made everything so difficult for everyone, those homework assignments always kicked my ass.”
Eddie raised an eyebrow. Where you, Y/N L/N, really trying to start a conversation with him?
He paused for a minute.
“Yeah, she sucks man. I failed her class twice.”
You looked over your shoulder, checking to see if anyone was there. Before looking back at him smirking, “Don’t tell anyone, but on her last final I totally cheated!”
Eddie’s eyebrows shot up, “No way, the Y/N L/N? Na, I ain't buying it.”
You giggled, “It’s true! I wrote my notes on my arm.”
Eddie scoffed, “Please, that’s the oldest shit in the book. You probably got caught but Mrs. O’Donnell let you get away with it because of how much of a goody-two-shoes you are.”
You gasped at him, “I’m hurt! I’ll have you know I was super slick about it!”
Eddie let out a laugh, a genuine laugh, “Please, I highly doubt that.”
You huffed, “You know, I was going to ask if you needed help studying, but after this, I will no longer be offering my services.”
He chuckled, “You? Help me? Come on, this has to be some sort of sick joke.”
But you shook your head, “Nope. I mean it, if you want, I can help you. Seriously.”
He looked at you, your eyes twinkling with sincerity.
He let out a sigh, “Yeah, I mean if the smartest girl in Hawkins offers to tutor you, you kinda have to say yes, right.”
You giggled, “I don’t know if I’d say I’m the smartest-”
Eddie let out a laugh, “Oh come on, don’t be so modest. You and that Wheeler girl are like, stupidly smart. And popular, Jesus what a match.”
You rolled your eyes, “I’m not popular-”
But Eddie cut you off again, “Uh-huh, you tell yourself that, sweetheart.”
At the mention of the nickname, he notices your composer shift, only for a moment. You become flustered, your calm and charming exterior cracked for just a moment. Replaced with a shy, flustered girl.
“But,” Eddie continued, “yes, I would appreciate any help.”
After he said that, you perked up.
“W-well, um, let’s get started!”
You two stayed for a while until he felt confident about his ability to actually pass this upcoming test.
He beamed at you, “Wow, thanks Y/N. Damn, might even get myself an A.”
You giggled at his pride, your eyes shining with admiration. “You worked hard, I’m sure you’ll do great.”
Eddie gave you a goofy grin, “Na, I could never get this far without you…thank you Y/N.”
He saw your eyes dart away from his, face flushed, “Oh yeah, yeah don’t even worry about it. Just think of it as..as a favor.”
Eddie cocked a brow at you, “Damn, one heck of a favor. You know you didn’t have to do this, right? I mean, we don’t even know each other.”
You smiled at him, and a felt a small pull in his gut.
“I don’t know, I thought it would be nice. And besides, I had nothing else going on. And you’re pretty good company, Munson.”
He didn’t know why, but he felt his heart start to race in his chest, and the feeling of his stomach doing jumping jacks when your eyes met his. Had you always been so pretty?
He gulped down his nerves, “You’re not so bad yourself, Y/N.”
You smiled at that, “Glad you think so.”
. . .
After a few days, you talked to him again.
He was at one of his favorite music stores, He lost his favorite tape of Iron Maiden (Piece of Mind) and realized he needed it in order to be able to jam out properly.
And he loved this little music shop. Notably, it had mostly rock and metal songs, but it also had popular and more mainstream artists as well. He grimaced at the Beatles and Bowie cover next to his beloved Black Sabbath.
He sighed, finally finding the album he needed.
Just as he was about to head over to the counter, he heard the door open followed by a familiar voice.
“Pardon me,” he heard you say, “do you happen to have any Metallica tapes? For a walkman?”
He swore his heart did a double-take, seeing your pretty face in such a dark place as this small music shop, really made you stand out.
Not to mention, you had just asked if they had any Metallica. That was enough to get his heart pumping louder than it had before.
As one of the employees showed you the way to one of the metal sections of the store, he followed you.
“Right here, ma’am. We even got the newest album, let me know if you need any help,” the employee said politely, before walking away.
As you searched, he came up behind you.
“Didn’t realize you liked Metallica.”
He saw you jump at his words, your face shooting back to his.
“Wow!” He said, “Easy there! Didn't mean to frighten you.”
You shook your head, “Sorry I just didn't see you there. And um… I'm not a Metallica fan. I just- I just heard they were good.”
Eddie nodded, smirking, “Well sweetheart, you heard right. Metallica is pretty good man, especially if you just trying to get into metal. But you don't really seem like the metal type.”
At that, he saw your face flush, “I wanted to try something new, I guess.”
He smiled, “Hey no shame in that. I respect it actually.”
He looked around before pulling a tape out of his pocket, “Here, take this one so you don’t have to pay for it. Just give it back whenever.”
The album was Master of Puppets. It was new, considering the album had just come out, so it was in pretty good condition.
Your eyes widened as you took it, “No, I couldn’t-”
But he just smiled, “I insist. Just give it back to me the next time you see me, alright? I’m returning my favor, from when you helped tutor me, remember?”
You nodded, smiling, “Well, that’s very generous of you, Munson, I appreciate it. And yes, next time I see you, I’ll give it back.”
. . .
And he did see you again. In a place that he least expected.
His band was playing at the Hideout, a not-so-popular bar in town. The crowd is maybe filled with four or five drunk old men, and the smell of cheap booze lingered in the air.
But I didn't care, he played his guitar until his fingers felt like they couldn't strum a single chord anymore. He played until he physically felt like he was going to fall off his feet.
And when he finished playing, the one thing he least expected to happen, came true.
Applause was heard in the bar, from one pair of hands.
His eyes widened, seeing your pretty face beaming up at him.
You were seated in a booth, near the back of the bar. You were dressed in a normal, comfy outfit. But still, it made his lungs run out of fresh air.
As you continue clapping, you looked up at him smiling, a genuine smile.
He felt his heart do a flip.
As the band started to pack up their equipment, you made your way over to him.
“Wow! You guys are so good!”
Eddie’s eyes widened, where you really here for them?
As if you could read his mind, you said quickly, “I-I just came in because I was studying nearby and saw you playing. But wow! I didn’t even know you played!”
Eddie could feel his heart skip at your praise.
“Ah, well. Thanks, sweetness, but we don't really get that much of a crowd.”
Eddie gestured around the bar where most of the men were now almost completely passed out.
You smiled, your eyes locking with his, “Maybe you’re just ahead of your time, Munson.”
He could feel his cheeks becoming hot, and he had to look away from your eyes so you wouldn’t notice.
He coughed and laughed slightly, “Yeah..yeah I guess you could say that.”
Before you could respond, one of Eddie’s bandmates made his way over to you two, “Hey man, the vans all packed up,” he looked over at you, raising an eyebrow, “Sorry was I interrupting something?”
Eddie paused, but you shook your head, “No, I was just saying how good you guys were! You’re the drummer, right? You did really well! I’ll have to come back again and listen to you guys more.”
Gareth gaped at you, eye’s in disbelief.
You shuffled awkwardly, before saying, “Sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name Y/N L/N, I think we had English together last year.”
As if broken out of a trance, Gareth nodded vigorously, “Um-yeah. English…yeah with Mrs. Kelly. Yeah, I remember, you were my partner for a project. Something about The Great Gatsby?”
You laughed a bit, and Eddie was suddenly very aware of his fist clutching his guitar pick so hard he felt a sting of pain in his palm.
“Yeah, I remember. We had to make a poster about the life-changing aspects of the 1920’s. Oh my god, it was so boring.”
You and Gareth laughed at a shared memory, and Eddie decided that he had had enough.
He tried his best to sound nonchalant, but he knew he just came off brash, “Here man, take these and get the van started.” Eddie handed him his keys, “I’ll be out in a sec.”
Gareth took the keys from Eddie, giving a knowing smirk as he walked away. Eddie could have even sworn he saw him wink at him as he walked off.
You shifted nervously from foot to foot, before Eddie finally piped up, “So um- you liked the show?”
Your eyes lit up, “Yeah, I really did! Oh my gosh, and you’re guitar playing? It was so sick!”
Eddie laughed, “Wow, you might be our first-ever fan, Y/N.”
You smiled up at him, lashes fluttering lightly, “Then I hope to stay your number one fan.”
He smiled at that. How cute, he thought.
Your eyes lit up, and you reached into your pocket, “I almost forgot!”
You pulled out a tape, handing it back to him, “You were right, the album was so good! I loved every second of it. Thank you for letting me borrow it.”
Eddie nodded, “Yeah I mean of course. I have a few other recommendations if you’re every not too busy-”
“I mean, I’m not busy right now?”
Eddie smiled, preparing fully to blow off his band mates, “Well then, sit down sweetheart.”
. . .
You too continued to talk more and more after that, mostly out of school. And most of the time, you’d somehow find him.
And yet, he couldn’t get you out of his brain.
It had actually started to interfere with his life. He couldn’t write any new D&D campaign ideas because all he could think about was your smile, he couldn’t play his guitar because all he could think about was how you praised him that night at the Hideout.
He had even stopped making a commotion whenever you were around, choosing to stay quiet whenever you entered a room.
But that was because he normally couldn’t take his eyes off of you.
And yet, for the last few days, he had heard nothing from you. Not a nice small conversation, a “how are you”, not even a few glances at him. Nothing.
He normally wouldn’t have cared, who was this girl? Some prissy prep? Why should he care if she come up to him and started talking to him again?
But he did. He cared. He wanted to hear her sweet voice again. To watch her pretty eyes light up when she was working on homework. He wanted to see her smile up at him, to feel his heart beat out of his chest. He wanted desperately to walk up to her himself.
But he stilled himself. He knew that he probably shouldn’t read into anything, he didn’t want to seem desperate. Even if he found himself falling for someone he desperately wish he didn’t.
He sighed, walking to his next class after lunch was over.
He spent the whole period thinking about you, which wasn’t uncommon for him anymore, he’d usually think about you for most of the day.
He hated how he couldn’t just go up to you. Why’d he have to wait for you? Why couldn’t he just stop being a pussy and start a conversation with you?
But he knew the answer, it was because he was a coward.
He sighed as the final bell rang.
“Finally,” he muttered under his breath as he left the school, walking over to his van.
But as he got closer, he saw a familiar face.
He felt his feet hiccup on the ground, the air flying out of his lungs.
But your face lit up as he approached, eyes sparling under the sun's light. Your beautiful face illuminated by the suns light made his heart momentarily stop working.
God, you were driving him insane.
This was definitely new, however, you would never approach him at school. He tried to calm himself down as he approached you, trying his best to become more nonchalant.
You waved at him, “Hey Eddie!”
“Hey there sweetheart, what are you doing here?”
Your eyes faltered, looking down at your shoes. “Well- I,” you breathed in heavily, hands fidgeting lightly.
He raised an eyebrow, why were you suddenly so nervous? You had been waiting by his van after all.
“You alright, Y/N?”
Your eyes looked up quickly, you bit your lip shyly.
“I-um…I had a question…for you.”
He gave you a confused look, “Alright, shoot. I’m not gonna bite,” he said laughing.
Your hands shook and somehow you found your voice, “I was wondering if…maybe you’d wanna…go on a date?”
Eddie immediately felt like he had been shoved to the ground, the air in his lungs escaping him as he gaped at you. Eyes blew wide as he tried to comprehend what you had just asked him.
He, go on a date, with you? This couldn’t be real, like some sort of dream, or-
And then, out of the corner of his eye, he saw them. Your friends, pointing and laughing, at him.
Suddenly, it all made sense.
Of course, you’d never ask him out, of course, you’d never actually have any sort of feelings for him. You avoided him like the plague at school, why would you ever want to be seen with him? And why right now? You would never go out  with a freak like him.
Of course, this was some sick joke, it was so obvious. He had just been so blind by his own feelings that he pushed reality aside.
And when they saw him staring back, your friends continued to point and laugh, giggling at his dismay.
“Eddie?” Your sweet, soft voice called back to him. Your eyes were looking at the floor, leg bouncing anxiously, “You don’t have to say yes, I understand. It’s fine, I just wanted to be able to tell you that I-”
Eddie cut you off with a cold laugh.
“Whatever Y/N. You can drop it now.”
Your eyes shot up, looking at him confused, “Wha-”
Eddie shook his head, a mad grin plastered on his face, “I knew that someone like you couldn't be so nice. So what was it then, a dare? A bet? Come on sweetheart,” the nickname dripped with venom, “you don’t have to pretend anymore. I saw your little friends laughing over there. Don’t play so innocent.”
He pointed over to your friends, watching as they stumbled back with laughter.
Your eyes widened as you saw your supposed friends (the girls on the cheer squad that you would sometimes sit with at lunch) laughing at you two.
“Wait, Eddie, please I-”
But he shook his head, “I don’t want to hear it Y/N.”
He started walking away, towards the door of his van, you protested as he did so.
He snapped, turning around to you, “You know, I thought you were different, I thought you were nice. I thought…hell, I don’t know what I thought. But you seemed so genuine. But I guess that was all an act, huh? Should have known, yeah I should have known. Stuck up Y/N, always thinks she’s better than everyone around her. Such a bitch and everyone knows it,” he hated seeing the hurt in your eyes, but he kept going, “such a goddamn stuck-up priss, a goddamn people pleaser. An attention whore. I should have known better.”
He hopped in his van, slamming his door as he refused to listen to your pleas.
“Eddie stop! Really, I meant it!”
But he had already started driving away, leaving you in the dust of his tires and tears running down your cheeks.

In a world where words meant so much, it was difficult to find them at a time where they were needed.
The cool wire weaved against your skin. Its path crawling like a snake of retrospection from the bottom of your chair to your chest. There was a pebble of sweat threatening to spill from the top of your hairline in the hot California sun which made you think:
"Why the fuck did I ever move out of Indiana?"
But if you closed your eyes, you could recall why. A sickening, thunderous roar of the crowd–you could still hear it now. Somewhere, thumping in the back of your mind as their chants filled a space that breathed a new life within you as the another was dying.
An echo chamber of the taste of metal against lips; the white knuckle grip that still threatened to slip from your grasp.
The woman who sat across from you had a plastic smile on her lips. For her, it was nothing more than a job. An exploitive adventure where you'd be sticking headlines and messages across platforms for weeks to come because of this tell-all documentary.
"When did you know?"
Against cynicism the inevitable hardness of the culture you had immersed yourself in at one time had risen again and the attitude that rose promised a truthful reflection of your experience.
On the floor beside the mics battery pack, a half smoked carton of cigarettes met a glazed palm and the woman watched as a perfectly rolled stick land between two mauve lips. As the flame sparked, your eyes darted to hers.
"Know what?" you muttered between the smoke.
“When it was finally over?”
You could feel the breath being sucked out of your soul. The shudder radiating like a shutter letting rain inside of the home in the canyon; kissing the very center of a heartbeat that stopped at the sight of a pair of eyes, shoes peaking through a doorway.
The cigarette burned between your fingers. Ticking away like a bomb with scorching red embers fighting its casing.
“The Album was the best and worst thing to ever happen to any of us… that sounds ridiculous,” you scoffed, shaking your head and the woman quirked her head.
“It sounds ridiculous that something so magical, something so brilliant, can make those who built it feel small. It put us in a fishbowl and it took every last drop from our cup before it dried up and cracked under the heat… that's when I knew it was over."
She shifted in her seat, readjusting the papers to organize her thoughts. You imagined there was no sounder way of stating it. It was the truth, frank, and to the point but something the rest of them negated to realize or speak into words.
But she shook her head. “Yes, the band… but what of the relationships?”
“None of us had known about Steve and Nancy, Robin and Vickie had barely interacted until their writing began and by the end… well you can read plenty of articles about the end of it all.”
You drew from the cigarette again. Smoke filling the air around you like a mist; the woman kept digging.
“And Eddie and yourself?”
“Well…”
That heart-skipping beat never left. Laurel Canyon was so far away, the studio was a memory, and the stage was a phantom piece of your imagination yet the simple mention of a name so far removed was enough to make time stand still.
Somewhere, a young woman frozen and left wondering the "what if" of a life not shrouded by fanatics and the thrumming of a guitar. Somewhere, lost in the violence of a summer and the shattered glass of a heart left on a stoop, that girl remained inside.
“It was always complicated.”
“So,” she shrugged at you as if the conversation was nothing more than such. It wasn’t as though she was here to get all the details of every part of a life that had already played out in public if people had only been paying attention.
It wasn’t as though she was cracking open a mountain full of jeweled memories that had crystalized themselves in the past.
“When did it all go wrong?”
Feeling the sting of the camera focus on your face, there were two responses to this question that many had already answered before you:
"When did it all go wrong?" You lamented to yourself.
When did you know it was over? When did it all go wrong?
The woman's eyes glistened in excitement. Her story was unraveling before her. You took a drag again.
Fuck. You thought to yourself.
And the film began to play.

Freak - Eddie Munson x reader
Omg my first ever Eddie fic!! What can I say I’m completely obsessed with him aha!
Enjoy :) xx
TW: bullying, name calling, anxiety mentions (pretty sure this is it but let me know if I’ve missed anything)
Y/N felt her heart leap into her throat as Mrs Jones, her English teacher invited her up to the front of the class to introduce herself. There wasn’t anything she hated more than being the centre of attention and her plan for this school was just to fly under the radar.
“So Y/N tell us a bit about yourself” Mrs Jones,  said gently with a kind smile which only terrified Y/N more
“Well I just moved to Hawkins to weeks ago,” She paused looking to Mrs Jones for a little bit of help, not noticing how her hands began shaking as every single person in the class stared at her
“What is your favourite subject?” Mrs Jones prompted
“English, so I suppose its good I’m starting with that” She said with a light chuckle, but that didn’t stop her voice breaking from the anxious thoughts running through her head
“Oh my god, her hands are shaking. What a freak” One of the cheerleaders sitting at the back muttered, loud enough to create a ripple of stifled laughter through the class
“Gemma! That is enough” Mrs Jones snapped, “Go on Y/N, what about hobbies or how about what you want to be when you grow up?”
“I enjoy reading and I want to be a writer, ” She said simply, pleased that she managed to get through the sentence without panicking more
“What kind of writer?” Mrs Jones asked
“Fantasy or Horror” She said with a smile, feeling more at ease talking about her passions.
“Horror? She really is a freak!” Another student said from the back of the class, Y/N caught it and felt an anxious bubble form in her throat
“Can I go sit down now?” Y/N asked quietly
“Of course” Mrs Jones said with a patient smile.
Y/N took her seat once more next to a girl who had introduced herself as Freya, before Y/N had been called up to the front
“Stay away from me Freak” She snapped harshly,
“Watch out Freya, you don’t want to catch anything from her” One of the boys the row behind them laughed quietly.
Y/N shifted her chair a little away from Freya, not wanting any more attention surrounding her. She forcefully pushed the tears back as the lesson started.
— — — —
Y/N stood at the entrance to the cafeteria, her bag in her hand. Her mums homemade pasta salad sitting in a Tupperware box at the bottom, she had been looking forward to it since her mum had sent it off with her this morning but now she just felt sick. She had hoped by lunch she might have someone to sit with, but not one person she had tried to talk to had made any effort back, they had just called her a freak and left with a laugh. Looking over all the tables she saw an empty one in the corner of the large room, it was furthest away from the table of cheerleaders so Y/N decided that would be the best option. She quietly began eating her lunch when Freya and Gemma turned their attention to her,
“Awh look at the freak eating all alone, she’s a loner as well as a freak” Gemma giggled loudly enough for the whole cafeteria to hear, the cheerleaders laughed along with her as a few of the other tables turned and stared at Y/N, who shifted uncomfortably in her seat. She casted her eyes down, and focused on the food in front of her, wanting nothing more than the ground to swallow her whole.
“Hey” A voice cut her out of her trance, Y/N lifted her gaze and set her eyes on the guy who sat himself opposite her “I’m Eddie, the schools resident freak-waste-of-space-weirdo nice to meet you fellow freak” He grinned, Y/n laughed at his introduction “You have a name?” He asked
“Y/N” She answered quietly “Not quite the first day you hoped for eh?” He said with a sad grimace
“Not really” She admitted, feeling a little more at ease that she wasn’t alone
“Well you can’t really expect much more from the airheads on the cheerleader team, their expertise start and end with knowing the basketball team inside and out” He said “Pay no attention, they’ve peaked in high school, which means that soon enough it’ll be the freaks turn to peak” He grinned
“Soon enough” Y/N agreed letting her first smile of the day tug at her lips
“Ah so the freak can smile, here I was thinking that I was making your day worse” He said
“You’re actually making it better” Y/N admitted “You’re the first person to actually talk to me like a human” She laughed quietly
“Well Y/N the freak, would you like to join me and my little sheep at our table?” He said standing up and extending his hand in a bow which made Y/N laugh
“I would love to” She grinned taking his hand and her pasta salad in the other. Eddie lead her over to a table in the middle of the cafeteria where his friends sat
“Everyone this is Y/N, she the newest freak in Hawkins High, so be nice she’s one of us” Eddie said his hand never leaving hers as they sat down.
After a few quick introductions Y/N was thrown into a question and answer session with Dustin who wanted to know all about her life, and how she was finding Hawkins, Y/N began to feel comforted by the words that tumbled out of Dustin’s mouth.
“Are we still on for D&D later?” Will asked Eddie, as the conversations all died down
“Of course my friends” Eddie grinned “You all better be prepared”
“What’s D&D?” Y/N asked quietly feeling the anxiety bubble up as Eddie turned to her “It’s a game, this fantasy game where we all run campaigns. Eddie’s the best dungeon master there is! You should join!” Dustin said
“Yeah you should, we’re just about to finish this campaign, you should join the next one” Will said with a smile “What do you think Eddie”
“The more the merrier, what do you say freak?” He said with a friendly grin
“I don’t know if I’d be any good” She said
“How about you come watch tonight, I’ll even let you run the session with me” Eddie said “No pressure, if you don’t enjoy it you can go home. But if you do you can join next campaign” He suggested
“Yeah ok, sounds fun” Y/N said with a smile
“Well we better get to class, see you tonight Eddie! Bye Y/N” Dustin waved as he headed off with the others out of the cafeteria
“Y/N” Eddie said quietly
“Yeah?”
“Those cheerleaders are missing out on the best damn freak Hawkins High has ever had” Eddie said
“Thanks Eddie” Y/N blushed
“What’s your next class?” He asked
“Chemistry” Y/N answered pulling out her timetable, Eddie took it gently from her hands.
“Well it looks like you’re with me for the entire afternoon, isn’t that lucky”Eddie smirked
“Freaks have to stick together after all” Y/N grinned
“That we do”

Eddie ate pretzels every day at lunch, not trusting the lunch the school provides. However, this is the first day he’d forgotten them and now was starving, his breakfast long gone.
“Eddie, come on you have to eat lunch. The food is good.” You try to persuade, “They have pizza, french fries, nachos, hamburgers,”
“No.” He shakes his head from beside you in the lunch line, “doesn’t look appealing.”
“Fine,” you sigh, “starve, you stubborn mule.”
Eddie’s stomach growled as he glanced over the food. He see’s a pb& j sandwich at the end, seems safe right? He shrugs grabbing one.
Now as he’s leaned over a toilet, vomiting the entirety of his stomach contents, he regrets the pb& J decision. It was most definitely not safe.
“this is why I eat pretzels!” He shrieks and then groans, leaning his forehead against his arm on the toilet seat.
“How was I supposed to know the pb&j was contaminated!” You defend, and grab a rag, wetting it to place on his neck.
He whimpers as another wave of nausea hits him, “I don’t like this.” His voice is small like a child.
“I’m sorry..” You rub his back, “It’ll be over soon. Your body has to get the toxins out.”
After what feels like forever, he finally stops vomiting and you help him to the bedroom and get him settled in bed. You turn to leave, “wait,” He grabs your hand, “Don’t leave me.” he pouts, “You’re the best doctor I’ve ever had.”
You laugh softly, “Baby I’m just going to get you a drink and a trashcan.”
“Oh.” He takes the rag off his forehead, “can you wet this again, it’s not cold anymore.”
You playfully roll your eyes, Eddie was such a baby when he was sick, a very needy baby. “yes.” You take the rag from him with a shake of your head and finish what you were going to do. You grab a drink from the fridge, wet the rag with cold water and bring his small trashcan to his bedside. You place the cold rag over his forehead.
“Anything else?” You ask with your hands on your hips.
He holds his arms open, looking at you with those with those large puppy dog eyes, “Lay with me?”
“I don’t think doctors are suppose to fraternize with their patients.” You tease, tossing your shoes to the side and settling in next to him.
“I won’t tell anyone if you wont,” He holds you close to him, closing his eyes.
It was quiet for a moment and you wondered if he’d fallen asleep. Peeking up at him he has a serious look on his face, deep in thought.
“This is why I eat pretzels.” He mumbles.
comments, likes and reblogs are GREATLY appreciated! Thanks for the read xx

Miracle Aligner l Eddie Munson X Fem!Reader
Summary: When everything is stressing, Eddie might be the miracle aligner that (Y/N) needs to get away from life.
pairing: Eddie Munson x Fem!Reader / Fluff (platonic, i can fix that in another one if you’d like, hehe)
warnings: mentions of smoking (the illegal stash) and slight language. Use of (Y/N) and a made-up character as her friend.
word count: 2,556
A/N: Hello, everyone! It’s been a while since I last posted around here! I came back with an old piece, this time with Eddie, my love! I don’t encourage smoking, it’s not good for you, don’t do it! But for the sake of the plot, I made the mention and story all around it - not glamourizing at all!  I really hope you guys like it. Remembering that English is not my first language, I did some beta reading but  if there any mistakes, please, forgive me. I hope you guys enjoy this one, constructive critics are welcome :)

There were three things (Y/N) could never trust in her life: the weather, Hawkings and her memory. She no longer trusted the flashbacks that once in a while replayed behind her empty eyes during math classes, especially the ones about her childhood. Hawkings being the little egg that it is as a city, (Y/N) could always check her memories with the other people that were there with her, but nobody remembered – the thing wasn’t like they didn’t remember as detailed as she did – they didn’t remember at all. Sometime in her life, she started to think she was crazy and made up all those things, but they were so vivid and so real to her that it wasn’t possible to be all imagination.
And when you live in Hawkings, it’s not like a considerate number of good memories could be made – especially if you were a forgettable person in High School. (Y/N) had friends but they were much like her, not as popular, they would never be the ones to sip beer late Friday, go to a gas station to do nothing or throw massive parties while someone’s parents were traveling. (Y/N) saw herself kind of revolting about her same boring chores everyday – until she went once to California with her cousin and tried weed for first time. It was not as demonic as her father made up to be all her life, actually, it was the perfect escape from her boring small city life.
When she returned to Hawkings, she swore not to smoke again just because it would take so much work – finding a dealer, sneaking out to smoke or even smoke inside the house and fake the smell – but one day, she missed the relaxing sensation of just inhaling the smoke and laying down. She was in the middle of lunch, not even touching her food, heavy eyes from nights of insomnia and all the noise from other people’s conversation – her friend, Veronica, was right in front of (Y/N) – looking rather curious about her friend’s recent behavior.
“Penny for your thoughts?” The girl said out loud and (Y/N) seemed to snap back to reality. She sighed and tried to find the words.
“Do you know who…” (Y/N) started but realized she was talking loudly. “Well, how am I supposed to say this?” She and Veronica never talked about those things, (Y/N) was beginning to think she would be judged.
“Just shoot, you’ve been freaking me out the entire lunch with this face of yours.” (Y/N) looked at Veronica even more seriously. “Sorry, girl. But you look like you’ve been drained the whole week.”
“Well, the feeling is just as close, believe me.” (Y/N) snorted. “Do you know someone who sells weed?” Veronica opened her mouth but (Y/N) stopped her. “Don’t lecture me about anything, I’m not being unhealthy or anything. It’s just, the school just started and my mom’s being a crazy wench these days. I miss the days in California and the ‘no worries’ mood.”
Veronica always felt she never really met (Y/N)’s mother. Like, she met the person she wanted her to see, but not the woman (Y/N) had as a mother – and the last years, (Y/N) have been complaining a lot about pressure at home. Ever since she decided to go to a college out of the state, her parents had been resisting a lot to everything related to it and God knows how this can be frustrating in their last year of High School.
“Well, I suppose it’s not like you’re asking for cocaine or heroin.” Veronica shrugged and looked around just to ensure nobody was listening – like someone ever was. “Look, I heard a time or another that Eddie Munson knows something about it. A guy from the Drama Club made the deal to share the room with Eddie for his game club in exchange for something that, and I quote, makes him incarnate Shakespeare.”
“Well, I would love Shakespeare to live this living hell for me.” (Y/N) said and Veronica laughed. “It’s been a while since I last talked with Edward. Wouldn’t it be weird to show up just to ask a thing like that?”
“Well, you are the only person I know he accepts calling him Edward. And, if he is the one messing with this kind of stuff, you’re just one more costumer. Not big deal, right?”
Veronica’s logic was right. But (Y/N)’s last memory with Eddie was in middle school and they argued about something. Was it about her preferring Dio over Ozzy in the vocals of Black Sabbath? Or they were just differing in phases of life? Again, she couldn’t – for the life of her – remember why. In the end, she just hoped that whatever it was about, it wouldn’t get in the way of her deal.
“You don’t have drama club today, right?” (Y/N) pointed with her fork to Veronica.
“Nop. That’s his today.” (Y/N) nodded her head slowly, tracing all the possible plans for her to reach Eddie.
(Y/N) spent the rest of the day in the library – not only waiting for the Hellfire Club meeting to end but also, to escape her mother’s babbling or whatever. It was a good, silent and distracting place – she read, took a little nap and helped the librarian returning the books to their right shelves – that was actually the script of her day for several weeks - which only made her think even more about how she needed an urgent “chill” feeling. She played with the sleeve of her coat while waiting at the corridor, until she heard the screams, giggles and “good-bye’s” from boys getting out of the room. None of them were Eddie, for (Y/N)’s luck. She took a deep breath and exhaled the oxygen.
“It’s just Eddie. Get yourself together, damn it.” (Y/N) told herself before entering the room. She didn’t know if it was the foggy memories of their friendship or what she was about to ask the boy that was making her so nervous. All the time in California, she was never the one who spoke to dealers – hell, she just received the joint between her fingers and smoked. She went in and Eddie was with his back to the door, gathering chairs to their right place.
“I am already leaving, Matthew. I’m just…” He turned to her. “Oh, (Y/N). Didn’t expect to be you.” He seemed astonished. “Like, at all.”
“Yeah, I gather that. It’s been a while.” She closed the door behind her and took little steps closer to him. Although they grew apart, Eddie could never forget those eyes of hers. He even questioned if in the future, they would be his cure to an amnesia or something like that, he knew that as long as he remembered those eyes, he would be okay. “Look, I will cut the small talk. I need something from you and if you’re not the right person, I expect no judgement.”
“You really think, from all the people in this place, I would be the one judging you?” He crossed his arms. (Y/N) pouted and realized he was right, she could never expect that kind of thing from him. “Tell me, then.”
“Well, someone told me that you…May sell weed.” She was afraid she spoke so low that he didn’t hear and the look on his face reassured her of that. “Someone told…”
“I heard, princess. I’m trying to make the synapses to understand why you’re asking me this.” He looked puzzled. “Someone asked you to get that? I don’t make bridge dealing, that can be dangerous, you know? Cops and shit.”
“It’s not for someone, it’s for me.” (Y/N) licked her lips. “Look, I’m just having a shitty week, well, shitty month actually. And I just need a little relief.”
“I can’t believe it! You’re a smoker? A weed smoker!” He had a little grin on his face and (Y/N) arched her eyebrows. “Since when? Who gave it to you?”
“My cousin…During my summer vacation.” She was kind of bothered with all the surprise. She wasn’t so uptight, right? Like, she wasn’t a stoner like the kids she met in California but she clearly wasn’t a prude. “So, do you have it? How much is it?”
“I’m not selling to you.” He shook his head side to side and (Y/N) stood there with her mouth opened.
“What do you mean not selling to me? What’s that supposed to mean?” Eddie could see that she was starting to get mad and God! How he missed her frowning and nose scrunching, the red face and incredible big eyes.
“You’re a talker. One pressure from your mother and you’re telling whoever wants to hear that I deal with this kind of stuff.” She seemed shocked with the assumption. Eddie took a few steps closer to her, until her eyes were in the height of his nose. “I think you don’t even know how to roll.”
“I forgot how infuriating you are, Edward.” (Y/N) commented. “C’mon, you’re really denying money?”
“Let’s do this. You smoke one joint with me, you get high and I don’t get snitched. Sounds like a deal?” He offered his hand to shake. “It’s all or nothing, darling.”
“What guarantees you that I won’t snitch you got me high? Like, what’s different from the scenario of selling me the weed?”
“You won’t have weed laying around your room for your crazy mother to find. One smoke with me, I got some snacks and perfume in the van and you return home like nothing happened. Your mom might even be pleased with you returning home smelling like boy’s cologne!” He joked and (Y/N) rolled her eyes.
“Well, it really seems like I don’t have other choice. Is this or completely freaking out.” She shook hands with him. “I’ll help you clean up here, then.”
“It’s a pleasure making a deal with you, (Y/N).”
After finishing the clean-up, Eddie stopped by his van to “get the holy grail” as he said and suggested to (Y/N) for them to smoke in the woods, considering the sun would set and it was an open-air place. The girl just agreed to anything he suggested, at this point, she couldn’t make any preferences – his denying in selling the thing to her was still scratching her brain. Was she really that much of a snitch? What made Eddie think that low of her? Maybe some years apart from each other could really change someone’s perspective about the other.
“There you go. I’ll let you light it up first.” He delivered the rolled joint to her along with the lighter. A white one.
“Thanks.” She put the thing between her lips and lit it up. Eddie was expecting the girl to cough and inhale wrong but she really seemed to have had some good training while in California. She exhaled the little amount of smoke and a little smile appeared on her lips. “Can I ask you something?”
“Full of questions today, huh?” He supported his two elbows on his knees while she was sitting with her back against the wooden table. They were both facing west, waiting for the sun to go low. (Y/N) gave him an annoyed side eye. “Sure, (Y/N). What is it?”
“Why did we stop hanging out? Like, I have a terrible memory and I’ve been questioning myself this the whole day.” She passed him the joint and took a clear look at him. His long hair and raglan Hellfire Club shirt, (Y/N) couldn’t help but think he grew up to be a good looking boy. She didn’t remember if she had any attraction to Eddie when they were little but right now, she would understand if she did.
“You have a bad memory and you’re smoking weed. It won’t get any better, if I’m really honest with you.” Eddie knocked the joint against the wood for the ashes to fall. “You were the only person I told when I thought about making Hellfire and in the next day, everyone was calling me a freak and all the satanic shit.”
“What? I never told anyone about that!” She looked incredulous. (Y/N) tried to replay the occurring and she remembered making the pinky promise in the video room, in the middle of a history class. A promise to wait for Eddie’s plan, the one where she would be the first in the campaign of his new club. (Y/N) didn’t even understand a thing about D&D but she would support Eddie in whatever he suggested at the time, she really didn’t tell a soul about it.
“Well, who did it then? You were the only one!” Eddie looked at her in a mocking way and saw the girl making the mental puzzle.
“We did the promise in the middle of a class, do you really think nobody heard us? This is Hawkings, for fuck’s sake! This place is a nightmare.” She fixated her look on some tree in the distance. “Is that also the reason you think I’m a snitch?”
“Can you blame me for that? A second ago, I gave you the first credit for making my school life a mess!” Eddie passed her the joint. “I guess someone could have heard us. You made the pinky promise after all.”
“I exchanged the spit one for the pinky promise! I am very offended right now, Munson!” She smoked and Eddie gave out a little laugh.
“I guess I’m apologizing well when giving you some of that to relax.” He pointed to the joint between her fingers. “Why are you smoking anyway? I mean, I love to smoke but I would never recommend it to anyone. Ever.”
“My mom is being, well… A mother. Ever since I told her about the plans of going out of the state for college, I think she didn’t like the idea and then, everything is about how ungrateful I am and a terrible daughter because I’m abandoning them. You get the picture” (Y/N)’s voice suddenly lost the mocking tone and got replaced with an upset one. Eddie nodded slowly with his head. “I just wanted to feel away from these comments and well, I knew this!” She looked at the rolled cigarette.
“She will accept, eventually. Just don’t give up on your plans for her. It’s not fair to you.” Eddie said and (Y/N) looked at him, her eyes had the same warm when in middle school.  “I’m sorry for not giving you the benefit of doubt. I just went logically into the thing and got mad. It was unfair to you and to me, because I really liked you.”
“Thank you! Not sure of how much I remember of everything, but I liked you too.” And I’m rethinking if it was more than a friendship way, she thought to herself. She handed him the blunt for him to finish smoking.
“We could this more often, if you want.” He pointed to the both of them.
“Sure! I would love to.” She smiled at him and Eddie thought he would faint right there. “You can be my miracle aligner more often.”
“I think I like that title.” He said smiling at her and thinking he could finally take his shot with her now they were grown up and more mature than years ago. “C’mon, I’ll take you home.”

baby parker - three
previous | next
master of masterlists | wattpad | baby parker series
It was now 7:30pm, Parker was in her little rocking chair napping in eddies living area, while you and eddie put some popcorn and chips into bowls. “Munson!” “we’ve got pizza” you hear people shouting, eddie smiles softly at you before turning to his friends “hey keep it down! Shes asleep” his friends look around slightly confused before noticing parker in her chair, “who’s bab– hii” the guy says, “hi” you smile softly coming up behind eddie, “steve, robin this is y/n, y/n this is steve and robin… they kinda come together” he grins at you.
“This is parker, wake up her and i’ll end you” eddie smiles taking the pizza boxes and putting them in the kitchen. “You didnt tell us you had a kid” “i dont, their my neighbour” he smiles. Steve and Robin just nod slowly, giving each other a look. “He’s so good with her though” you smile at the two then look back at eddie. “Been a real life saver” you sigh.
Eddie smiles putting his hand on your shoulder, “where?” “eddddddieeeeee” you hear someone else running through the door before tumbling into eddies arms. You grin at the younger boy as eddie messes with his hair “hey henderson” “dustin, this is y/n, y/n this is” “hi dustin” you smile at the younger boy. “Hi, im dustin” he grins at you, you smile and laugh a little, “you are adorable oh my god” you chuckle messing with his hair “i like her” he grins moving closer to you.
“Nancy, will and johnathan are on their way, mikes not coming he’s with el, lucas is with max” dustin smiles at the metal head. You look up to eddie and smile, he nods at the younger boy.
Now 8pm, and everyone is here, parker is sat on your lap having woken up from all the noise you decided to pump this evening so you didnt have to get your boobs out in front of eddies friends. You look down at the little girl as she looks around the room taking in all the new faces, when she spots eddie walking back over with her bottle. “Hey princess” he grins sitting next to you bopping her nose. “Eat, i’ll feed her” he smiles at you taking parker from your grip.
He places her muzzie blanket over his shoulder before taking her dummy and popping the nip of the bottle into her mouth, she gladly takes it and looks up at him, grabbing his pinky finger as he feeds her. You watch them both as you eat noticing how his friends are watching him. “When did you get all soft munson” you smirk, Eddie ignores the comment and carries on looking down at the little girl, before taking the bottle from her mouth and putting her against his shoulder to burp her.
“He’s like her best friend, when he’s around im not important” you smile grabbing your drink, “hey no” he says looking at you. “Its true though” you grin “she loves you” you laugh, he grins going slightly red in the cheeks.
Parker burps against his shoulder before letting out a little hiccup, “that was her? That was adorable” dustin says looking at the little girl. Eddie lifts the baby up and blows a raspberry to her tummy, she grins at the man as he lays her back into his arms. “Right so movie?” he grins.
Steve moves to set the movie up, as everyone gets comfy, Parker is fussing a bit and you look to eddie who just smiles and carries on bouncing her. She lets out another burp before throwing up some of her milk, it going over eddies top. He chuckles at the little girl “is that better?” he grins doing the little baby voice “did you not want that bit no?” he grins.
“Here let me take her ed” he smiles “its fine y/n” he smiles, parker begins going red in the face before completely relaxing, “nice” eddie grins “you smell girl” he chuckles standing up, “eddie its fine i can deal with her you go change” he smiles as you both walk into his room, “its fine honestly” he lays parker on the little changing mat you had brought over “park its everywhere hun” he smiles at the little girl. “I should take her home, give her a bath and” “hey” he grins kneeling down putting his hand on parkers belly so she doesnt fall. “Your fine, shes fine, you can bath her here” he smiles “i dont have any of her things” you sigh.
“How about, we rinse her off then go grab her things then bath her before putting her down?” he smiles “eddie” you sigh, he grins at you “parker tell mummy” he chuckles looking at the little girl. Eddie begins wiping away whatever mess he can, “go fill the kitchen sink” he smiles “i’ll bring her in, in a sec” he says softly. “Your to kind ed” you mumble, “go on” he smiles,
You nod letting out a sigh before walking back out and to the little kitchen area, you begin filling up the kitchen sink with luke warm water, everyone looks over at you “is everything ok?” you nod “parker just pooped everywhere” you smile, “thats disgusting” “shes a baby dude” “shut up” you smile as they all bicker a bit, as the film begins, turning the taps off, you double check the tempterure as eddie brings in a naked baby, and the softest towel he could find.
“Ready?” you nod as he places her into the sink, she begins fussing a bit, shes not the keenest on bath times. “Hey missy, your the one that pooped everywhere huh” he grins pulling something out of his pocket. “Why do you have this?” you grin as you see the small bottle of baby wash, he shrugs before going back to parker. Hes brought out another one of her smaller muzzies to wash the little girl off. You stand back and watch him before taking the towel to wrap her up in as he finishes. “Hey baby girl” you grin, wrapping her up tightly, holding her close.
“Not fair, why you so good for him and not me huh” you mumble kissing over her face. Eddie leans against the kitchen side watching you both “i’ll join you in a second, im just gonna get her changed” you smile before walking back into his room.
He grins emptying the sink before walking back over to his friends, who quickly go back to watching the film as if they werent just watching your little interaction.
//////
A few weeks later your at the star court mall, parker is on a sling on your chest while you walk around going into different shops. Mainly buying bits for her as shes growing and everything seems to not fit her anymore.
Its about an hour and a bit later when eddie bumps into steve at the petrol station, “arent you meant to be at work?” he chuckles as he grabs a drink from one of the fridges before paying for his gas. “Yeah, but something happened and the whole mall went up into flames” he shrugs “time to find a new job i suppose” he chuckles.
“Wait what?” eddie stops “there was a massive fire” steve shrugs “nobodys hurt, i dont think but” Eddie frowns and quickly pays before running outside to the pay phone and dialing your number “come on pick up” he groans tapping his foot, when it goes straight to voice mail, he tries again before he throws the phone back on to the hook before running to his van and driving to the mall.
He stops the car as the police tape and goes over to one of the officers “hi, is.. What happened?” he says looking at the damage, the officer shrugs “thats what we’re tryna find out kid” he sighs “where is everyone that was in there?” he rushes, the officer points to the empty car park which has a few ambulances parked about.
He rushes over and looks through the crowds trying to find you before he sees you sitting on the edge of an ambulance holding parker in your arms, trying to calm her down. “Oh my god” he says as he runs over to you and kneels in front of you. “hey , hey you ok?” he says looking up at you, you nod sniffing a bit “what happened?” you shrug and look at baby in your arms. He nods placing a hand on your knee “come lets get you girls home” he mumbles thanking the paramedic before wrapping his arm around your shoulder offering to take parker, but you refuse and hold her closer.
You get back to the trailer park and collapse into a ball of tears as you enter your home, eddies close behind you. “Wa-wa.. Was so scary ed” you sob, he nods walking closer and wrapping his arms around you “i know sweetheart i know” he mumbles “your safe now” “sh-sh she started coughing a-a-and” you sob looking at your little girl. “Your safe, shes safe, your both ok” he says looking you in the eyes. You nod at the man in front of you “ca-can you stay for a bit?” you sigh trying to calm down, he nods kissing your forehead “of course i can, how about i take little one, you go change and we’ll order some food and just have a chill afternoon?” he says, “i- i dont wanna be alone” you mumble.
After having gotten changed, with eddie in the room, but with his back to you and changing parker you sit on the sofa with a blanket over you as parker finally naps in her rocking chair. Eddie sits down next to you having just ordered take out and putting on a film. He slings his arm over your shoulders, to which you slightly lean into him “thank you” you mumble, “for what love?” he mumbles “for looking out for us” you sigh “and being a safe place, person for us” you say eyes on the tv, he nods kissing the top of your head “of course, i dunno if youve noticed but i kinda have a soft spot for you girls” he grins

Don’t Blame Me - 1
Love Made Me Crazy - 2
//
By the time we arrive at Patrick's, half the grade seems to be there. Cars lining the street and driveway, music booming down the neighbourhood.
"Always knows how to throw a party." Jason sighs with pride at his best friend.
My eyes scan the cars quickly, hoping to see a familiar van. A small pinch of sadness rushes over me at not being able to spot him.
Chrissy stands in front of me before we walk into the party.
"What time do you have to be home? Or am I covering for you?"
"Let's see where the night takes us." I wink, causing Chrissy to giggle.
"If anything happens tonight you have to tell me, got it?"
"Got it." I smile.
Chrissy links our arms together pulling me into the crowded home where sweaty bodies cause the air to be thick and warm with the smell of cheap alcohol.
"Aye! Chrissy" Jason calls for her across the room, Chrissy smiling at me apologetically before walking away.
I look around the room quickly, deciding to find the kitchen and grab a drink. Various different alcohols cover the table, most half empty already. I sort between most of the bottles before deciding on staying sober and sticking to soda.
"Not in the mood?"
I slightly jump at the voice behind me, completely lost in my own world.
My eyes wander over Patrick, his basketball jersey still stuck to his chest, paired with jeans and his varsity jumper. A thought flicks through my mind at what Eddie might wear, the thought of his cold rings causing a shiver to rush up my spine.
"Y/n? You good?"
"Uh, yeah, just still not feeling great."
"I'm assuming that's why you're sticking to soda only?"
"I guess so."
Patrick chuckles at me slightly before an awkwardness settles between us.
"Pat! C'mon man!" Jason yells gesturing for Patrick to come over to the beer pong table.
"I better go"
"Please." I smile, thankful for the interruption.
"I think you're losing your touch"
I jump at Eddie's words, hitting his chest with my hand.
"Stop scaring me."
Eddie chuckles, his eyes wandering over my body, slightly lingering on my chest before he notices the red scarf in my hair.
"I was wondering where that was."
"Oh please, you didn't know it was missing."
Eddie gasps in fake shock, a cheeky smirk covering his face.
"That's my favourite scalf."
"Well I'm keeping it."
"It's yours, it would be wrong to seperate my two favourites."
I raise an eyebrow as Eddie takes my soda and walks deeper into the party.
My mind takes a few seconds to figure itself out, my heart beating faster and my stomach fluttering with butterflies. I toss between thoughts of ignoring him for the whole night and acting like nothing has changed and wanting to run after him, drag him to his van and fuck his brains out like last Wednesday.
“Y/n! Y/n!”
I spin around to face Chrissy, her face flushed slightly, cheeks a soft crimson most likely from the liquid in her cup.
“You okay?”
“I need a beer pong partner, well Patrick needs one but I want to play against you.” Chrissy slurs slightly, her eyes a little glossy under the kitchen lights.
Before I can respond Chrissy is pulling me behind her, rambling on about how fun it's going to be.
I look behind me, my eyes landing on Eddie as I shrug, sending him a swift wink before focusing forward.
“I found your team mate!” Chrisy yells in a sing-song tone.
Patrick beams at me, handing me an orange ping pong ball, before gesturing to the table.
“Ready to take down the king and queen?”
I look over at Chrissy, her arms around Jason’s neck as he spins her.
“Definitely.”
Jason and Patrick scissors, paper, rock to see who will go first.
“Lucky.” Patrick chuckles, tossing the ball to Jason.
“Be prepared to lose.” Jason smirks, before bending down, closing one of his eyes and glancing at the table.
“Does he realise he looks ridiculous?”
Patrick laughs, bumping my shoulder with his as I smile, Chrissy rolling her eyes at my comment.
“Won’t be ridiculous when we win.”
Jason stands, lining up his shot before releasing the ball, skimming the top of a cup before falling into the liquid.
“Shit.” Patrick and I both mumble.
“Ladies first.” Patrick gestures, I roll my eyes, grabbing the red cup and downing the liquid.
I cough slightly, my face scrunching up.
“Is that Beer mixed with something?”
“Nope, it’s just awful.”
Patrick takes the cup from me, placing it down on the table and drying off the ball on his pants.
“Your go.”
I grab the ball from his hand, standing front on to the table. I take a deep breath and try to line up the shot as best as I can.
“Let me help.”
Patrick places his hands on my hips, pulling me against his chest softly. His hand holds my elbow, his lips brushing against my ear.
“Close one eye like Jason did, line the ball up and bring your elbow in slightly.”
I released a breath I wasn’t sure I was holding, before letting the ball slip through my fingers, bouncing once on the table before landing in the cup.
“Atta girl.” Patrick whispers, his grip on my hips tightening slightly as a warm blush hits my cheeks, a smile dancing across my lips as Jason drinks from the cup.
I feel his eyes burning against my skin before I see him. Our eyes meet as Patrick wraps his arm around my shoulder, pulling me against him and whispering how awesome my shot was.
Eddie clenches his jaw, shaking his head before moving away from the porch and into the house.
“I’ll be right back, I have to use the bathroom.”
“Uh, yeah, upstairs to the right.”
“Thanks.” I smile weakly, quickly walking through the partying, my eyes scanning every inch of the place.
I hear the front door close, a feeling inside of me telling me to follow. I quickly slip out the front door, watching Eddie storming down the driveway, his hands balled into fists, opening and closing.
“Eddie!”
I rush after him, a few people turning to look at me as I weave through the cars. I watch Eddie walk down the street, four houses in front of me.
“Hey!”
Eddie picks up his pace, ignoring my calls.
“Eddie Munson, listen to me!”
Eddie stops in his tracks, keeping his back to me as I rush over to him. The street light is slightly dim and the soft thump of the music now in the background.
“Where are you going?”
“Home Y/n, are you going to let me go.” Eddie mumbles, his voice low.
“Eddie, look at me.”
Eddie tilts his head back, sighing as his breath mists in the air. He turns to face me, his eyes glistening and his cheeks flushed, has he been crying? Or is it just the cold air? Am I crazy?
I reach out to touch his face, shock hitting me slightly at how upset he looks, guilt wrecking through me.
“Don’t, go back to your party, it’s where you belong.” Eddie holds my wrist in his hand, his eyes unreadable as my vision blurs, tears sneaking their way up.
“I-Eddie, I don’t belong with them.”
“You fit like a glove with those people.”
“You know I can’t stand those people.”
Eddie scoffs, dropping my hand and rolling his eyes, walking away from me and opening his driver side door.
“Ed.” I whisper as he stops himself.
“Go have fun with Patrick, hopefully he figures out that thing you like.”
I push Eddie’s chest, his back hitting his van.
“Stop it, stop confusing me, stop giving me mixed signals.” I cry, my fists hitting his chest, his warm hands wrapping around my wrists.
“You don’t get to act like this.” I sob, my head resting on his chest as he holds me tight.
“You can’t pick and choose when you want me, especially when someone shows me attention. You either want me Munson or we end whatever game this is.”
Eddie looks over my face, a tear running down my cheek.
“Baby.” Eddie whispers as I sniffle.
Butterflies erupt inside of me, the nickname causing goosebumps to appear on my skin.
“Decide Eddie, please.” I beg, my voice coming out sterner than I planned.
“Y/n, we don’t match.”
I groan, pushing away from him.
“Why does that matter? When has anyone’s opinion mattered to you Ed?”
Eddie opens and closes his mouth without speaking, knowing I'm right.
“I’ll take that as we’re done.” I sigh, tilting my head back and stopping the tears from falling.
“Drive safely, Munson.” I mumble turning away from him.
His grip on my wrist spins me to face him, our faces inches away from each other.
“Don’t you dare walk away from me without me saying anything.”
My eyes search his, trying to read them, and figure him out before he can tell me.
“I want you, in every way, in more ways than I’ve had you.”
I stand on my tippy toes, closing the gap between us as Eddie bends slightly and picks me up, my legs wrapping around his waist. Our lips move against each other perfectly, my fingers tangling in his hair, his hands squeezing my bum.
“Take me home Munson.”
Eddie smiles, kissing me quickly before nodding.
Eddie carries me to the passenger side, letting me pull myself in and wait for him to start the car.
As we drive down the street I notice Chrissy standing on the front porch looking around.
“Slow down for a sec.”
I wind the window down and lean out of the window.
“Chris! Chrissy!”
Chrissy looks over at me, a knowing smirk on her face as she chuckles. A few people look at the situation, a slight murmur filling the air as Jason cups Patrick's shoulder, shaking his head at him.
“Cover for me?”
Chrissy smiles, nodding her head, “Have fun!”
I blow my best friend a kiss as she catches it, blowing one back.
“Well that’s one way to let people know.”
“And do you hear that?” I ask, cupping my ear as Eddie drives away. “Not one person cares.”
Eddie rolls his eyes, smirking at my comment.
// Smut Below 18+ //
Eddie pulls into the trailer park, his trailer completely dark due to his uncle being out.
I look over at him, my eyes roaming over his body, before his hand brushes against my knee.
“C’mon.”
I follow Eddie, the flicking lights of the trailer park filling the air with a dull buzz. Eddie opens the front door, having to kick it slightly to get it unjammed, something I hope they never fix.
The moment the door clicks closed, Eddie’s hands are on me, pulling me closer to him as his lips suck and bite my neck.
“Fuck.” I sigh, moving my head to the side more, giving him more access.
Eddie places his hands on my hips, slowly guiding us through the small hallway to his room. He pulls away from me, fumbling around his room to turn a small lamp on, the dim light bouncing off the walls, accompanied by the moonlight dancing across the floor.
Without words we both slowly start undressing ourselves, matching each article of clothing.
Eddie’s eyes wander over my skin, a small smirk on his lips as he notices the green lingerie.
“I had to, had a feeling you’d be seeing it.” I whisper, causing him to lick his lips, shaking his head in disbelief.
“Always a good girl for me.”
The small amount of praise rushes straight to my core, dampening my panties. Eddie closes the small distance between us, his fingers running up and down my arms, our eyes never leaving each other. He inches his face closer to mine, our lips hovering over each other, breath mixing.
“I’m yours, Y/n.” His whispered words are barely audible, only noticing the way his mouth brushed against mine as whispered.
“Than fuck me.”
Eddie’s hand clasps the back of my neck, smashing our lips together with a hunger I’ve never felt before. His fingers run through my hair, pulling at the strands as I moan against his lips, allowing for his tongue to tangle with mine.
His hand runs up my back, unclasping my bra and letting it fall to the floor. His lips move down my skin, sucking a mark against the sweet spot on my neck before his tongue swirls against my nipple.
My moans fill the air, his free hand squeezing and massaging my ass cheek, my fingers tangling in his hair.
“Please.” The word slips past my lips, begging for him to do more, touch me where I need him most.
Without another word Eddie stops what he is doing, pushing me backwards against his mattress before latching onto me again. His lips work against mine as his fingers rub my clit through my panties, the roughness of the lace fabric scratching against me.
“So fucking wet for me.” I moan in response, grinding my hips against his hand.
Eddie slips his fingers past my panties, sliding the fabric down my legs. His eyes darken as he traces over me sprawled out on his bed. He falls to his knees, kissing up my legs, nipping the skin every so often. He blows against my wet cunt, softly licking up my slit before lightly sucking my clit.
“Holy fuck Ed.”
He hums against my core, his tongue circling my swollen clit, every knock causes tingles to rush through me. His arms wrap around my thighs holding me against him as he flattens his tongue against me, swiping the muscle side to side causing nothing but moans and curses to fall from my lips. Eddie slides two fingers inside of me, slowly, teasingly slipping them in and out of me as he continues to swirl around my clit. My pussy tightens around his fingers, causing him to smile against my skin, our eyes locking briefly before I throw my head back. Eddie pulls his mouth from me, keeping his fingers buried inside of me.
“Tell me I’m fucking lucky.”
His words cause butterflies to erupt inside of me, blush heating my cheeks, my smile beaming.
“You’re fucking lucky Eddie.”
Eddie chuckles slightly, kissing my thigh as his fingers continue to pump in and out of me.
“Damn right I am.”
He repeatedly bumps my g-spot, causing heat to flow over my body.
“Eddie- Fuck, I’m-”
“I know baby, cum for me.”
Eddie keeps his pace, his tongue sliding back over my clit as my back arches off the bed. My fingers pulling at his hair as I moan his name loud, my vision fuzzy and my legs shaky covering his fingers in cum.
He places two soft kisses against my pussy, kissing up my body before reaching my lips. Our kiss is soft, as if we could break under pressure, my chest rising and falling between us. Eddie softly guides my leg over his hip, lining himself up with my entrance and sliding inside of me.
My eyes flutter closed as a huff passes my lips.
“Jesus.”
“You take me so well.” Eddie praises, slowly moving his hips to allow time for me to adjust.
His moans fill the air, something I would never get tired of hearing.
“Right there.” I whisper, angling my hips up slightly. Eddie places his arm under my back, helping me reach the angle, his cock sliding deeper inside of me. My fingernails rake down his back, earning a soft moan to fall from his lips.
Eddie kisses the side of my head, changing our position as he sits back on his legs. His hands grope my boobs, head tilting back as he rocks in and out of me. I moan at the sight in front of me, the man of my dreams moaning at how good I make him feel, I’m fucking lucky.
“God Y/n, so good baby.”
I smile, grabbing his hand and kissing his fingers. Slipping one past my lips and sucking causing a deep groan to rumble through the air, his cock twitching inside of me. His fingers circle my sensitive clit, small electric shocks shaking my legs, my moans vibrating around his finger.
“I’m close.”
“Me to baby, so good.”
I wrap my legs around Eddie, pulling him down to me as he continues to slide in and out of me. I bring his lips to mine, feeling his dick twitch inside of me his body becoming hot. Eddie moans against my lips as I bite his bottom lip, pulling back as our eyes lock his warm release filling me.
Eddie stays inside of me for a few seconds, kissing me deeply, softly, savouring the moment.
We hear a car drive up the gravel road, both of us jumping apart from each other. Eddie quickly shuts his bedroom door, locking it swiftly before we hear the front door open and slam closed.
Eddie holds his finger against his lips as his uncle stomps through the trailer before slamming his bedroom door.
I giggle softly, causing Eddie to smirk. He grabs his hellfire shirt and hands it to me, before sliding my panties back up my legs, placing feather light kisses against my skin.
“Have I ever told you how lucky I am?”
I tilt my head to the side and pretend to think.
“Maybe once?”
Eddie scoffs, quickly kissing me before laying beside me. Both of us tracing each other's skin, happy and finally content with us, being us.

Rockstar Love | Eddie Munson
Pairing: Eddie Munson x Reader
Request: From Anon
Warnings: None. H/C - Hair Color, E/C - Eye Color, F/B - Favorite Book
Word Count: 1,457
Stranger Things Masterlist | Main Masterlist
“Whoo! Yeah, Eddie!”
Eddie Munson hears his best friend’s voice shouting over his guitar solo, prompting him to look at her. His smile is beaming ear to ear.  It wasn’t difficult to find her among the bars patrons because she was the sole person rocking out to the music on the dance floor, cheering for them. Her H/C hair swaying side to side, her E/C eyes lighting up with joy as her head and body moved to the rhythm of his guitar. She’s truly enjoying herself while the other five bar patrons and the bartender were too drunk to care.
This is the first time he’s brought her to one of his gigs in the two years they’ve been friends. She used to work on Tuesday nights, but her new schedule allows her those nights off. Now, Y/N will use them to attend Corroded Coffin’s gigs at The Hideout. She’s been to many of their practices but seeing them play live, no matter how big (or small) the crowd, it’s so much different. She’s already their number one fan, has been since the moment Eddie told her that he’s in a band.
Eddie feels a pleasant twist in his stomach and an unexpected warmth flood his body as he shifts his gaze between her and his guitar. Although Y/N has always been beautiful in his eyes, he has never seen her look more breathtakingly beautiful than she does right now. She is rocking out without caring what the drunks think of her, cheering for him and his band and completely coming out of her shell, becoming the carefree person that he was only one of few that got to see. Never has he ever seen her so at ease in front of strangers. She always leans more toward the reserved and shy side of things when it comes to people she doesn’t know.
In terms of personality, he and Y/N are complete opposites, but they balance each other out. While she soothes his hyperactivity just as much as the weed he smokes does, he helps her come out of her shell. It helps tremendously that she enjoys metal music, has been begging him to teach her how to play Dungeons & Dragons, isn’t on the “Eddie the Freak” bandwagon, and gets along fantastically with the only parental figure who’s ever given a shit about him. He honestly believes she is his other half, his better half, and he can’t deny how in love with her he is anymore.
“You guys were amazing!” Y/N applauds as the band leaves the little stage. She surprises everyone by giving hugs to Gareth and the others before giving Eddie a hug. Her hug with Eddie is a little tighter and lasts a little longer than her hug with the others.
After his surprise from her unexpected hug faded, Gareth beams proudly, “Thanks Y/N.”
The others added their thanks also before leaving Eddie and Y/N and going to the bar to get a well-earned drink. As he follows the other two to the bar, Gareth gives his friend a pat on the back.
“Do you want to get out of here?” Eddie asks, his face serious, his tongue sticking out like it usually does when he is contemplating or concentrating on something.
“Aren’t you supposed to help the others pack up the instruments?” She asks to make sure he won’t be leaving others short for help.
He assures her, “I just have to take my guitar and amp, the others have everything else. Grant has his van here and I made sure they’re cool with it.”
“Then lead the way, Sir Edward Munson,” she quips, bowing and sweeping her arm out towards the stage.
“Ugh, don’t call me that,” he groans, cringing as he leads her to the stage.
“What, Sir?” She teases him, knowing he was referring to Edward. Except while filling out legal forms, he never goes by Edward. “I thought you like being called Sir.”
Despite the amusement in his doe brown eyes, he shoots her a glare. "You know what I mean.“
"I’m sorry, please forgive me?” she puts on the puppy dog eyes and pleads with him, helping him pack up his beloved instrument, which only she is permitted to touch other than him.
“Buy me dinner and I might just forgive you,” he fixes his eyes on her and can’t stop the grin from growing on his lips. It’s at this moment that the butterflies appear, and he becomes serious again, focusing on putting his guitar into its case.
Y/N observes his change in demeanour and gives him a worried look, but she says nothing. She knows Eddie well enough to know that if something is bothering him, he’ll talk to her when he’s ready and that there’s no point in pushing it.
“I’ll buy you dinner,” she offers, knowing that he’s jesting with her.“The pizza place should still be open. We can make a stop there before going back to your trailer.”  Despite the fact that her trailer is two doors down from his, she’ll be staying with him tonight.
“I was kidding,” he explains as he redirects his gaze to her again.
She acknowledges, “I know, but I’m starving. I also can’t eat an entire pizza by myself.”
“Okay,” He nods in agreement and straightens up again as he raises his guitar case off the floor. Y/N grabs his amp and walks with him to his van. "But we’re not going back to the trailer right away.”
“No?” She is perplexed as she watches him unlock the sliding door of his van, opens it, and places his guitar inside before taking the amp from her and setting it next to the guitar case. .
“I was thinking we could go out to Lover’s Lake and hang out there for a little while,” he says, not wanting to give away that he wants to have a serious talk with her. He knows her well enough that if he suggests that they need to talk, she will immediately begin to imagine the worst-case scenarios in her head. He does not want her to assume something is wrong when there isn’t anything wrong at all.
“Sounds wonderful,” she responds, letting him know she’s fine with it as he closes the door. “Can we get the pizza on the way out there?”
“Yeah, because I’m starving too,” he replies as he grabs her hand and pulls her towards the front passenger seat, unlocking and opening the door for her.
She turns to face him, a little startled by how close they are standing. Her breath catches as her heart races, butterflies forming in her stomach as she watches his eyes wander from hers to her lips and linger there for a few seconds before meeting her eyes again.
However, she finds herself staring at his full, chapped lips and imagining what it would be like to kiss them. She catches herself thinking about this and many other things on a regular basis.
For example, how would his rough calloused hands feel against the silky skin of her thighs when he raised her off the ground and pressed her up against a wall, or placed her on top of a kitchen counter?
But she wouldn’t tell anyone, let alone Eddie, about her thoughts or feelings  she’s been harboring for him since she moved into Forest Hills Trailer Park two years ago because her fear of rejection is strong.
She had experienced emotional whiplash because of how quickly and deeply she had fallen in love with Eddie Munson. She’d been residing at the trailer park for about three weeks when Eddie approached her when she was sitting at the picnic table, reading her copy of F/B while wearing her headphones and listening to Guns ‘N’ Roses. She was immediately drawn to his beautiful, large brown eyes. She often finds herself becoming lost in them. Just like she is right now.
Eddie moves his hands to cup her face as if her were reading her mind and then closes the space between them, placing a soft kiss to her lips.
The kiss is hesitant and unsure at first, and he pulls back just enough to gage her reaction. As soon as his lips had touched hers, she closed her eyes. She tucks her bottom lip between her teeth and opens her eyes to look into his as he studies her face.
“I love you,” she whispers before she can stop herself, her brain malfunctioning from the kiss. While Eddie’s eyes widen in surprise, his smile grows bigger.
“I love you too,” he replies, kissing her more boldly this time as his arms wrap around her waist, drawing her closer to him.

Romance
𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩
Eddie yawned as he pushed himself up from the sheets, eyes squinting when he realized you weren’t in bed with him. Then he sniffed and his lips curled into a slow smile as he fell back into the bed, glancing quickly at the window to confirm it was still nighttime.
He could smell something good, breakfast in the air and he was once more hit with a delirious sense of happiness.
This morning, right when it had opened, you and Eddie had gone down to the courthouse and gotten married. He’d been planning on asking you for months and you’d already referred to life with him as one that was practically marriage.
But the thing Eddie couldn’t stand about the idea of an engagement was that it meant he wouldn’t already be married to you. He’d have to wait. He didn’t need that extra time in between. Eddie just wanted you and he wanted you all to himself, forever.
So after pacing a circle in the floor before the sun was even up, Eddie had gently woken you up, and while you were all squinty and sweet questions, he’d asked if you wanted to marry him right then.
You’d hopped out of bed and made a break for the closet.
He’d stopped on the way to pick up a witness (witnesses, Lucas and Max had been having some sort of morning walk and conversation when Eddie passed them on the road and subsequently abducted them with their permission).
And by 8:15 that very morning, you were a Munson.
The young teens had been immediately dropped off at Lucas’ house and then you and Eddie had gone home where you’d consummated your marriage on just about every surface in your house for the rest of the day before crashing.
Evidently, you’d woken up and remembered neither of you had eaten all day. Well, eaten food.
He ate something, alright.
After pulling on his boxers, Eddie made his way into the small kitchen, love filling his chest cavity the moment he caught sight of you in his shirt, hair away from your face, flour scattered across your nose and smeared along your forehead.
“What’cha making?” He asked, arms slipping around your waist to pull you back into his chest.
“Pancakes!” You chirped, craning your head back for a kiss Eddie was happy to supply. It was a sweet one, slightly sticky, he could tell you’d already gotten into the maple syrup.
Eddie licked his lips when you pulled away before pressing one last kiss to the side of your head.
“I'll make the eggs.”
Oh yeah, this domesticity for the rest of his life? He could do that.

My Pretty Boy
Warnings: 18+, drug use, fluff, Eddie being the cutest bisexual motherfucker
Synopsis: Eddie in a skirt
Pairings: Forged in Hellfire
Tumblr media
"Ooo!" Eddie smiles cheekily back at Mika on her bed, "Should wear these for me more."
He snickers when she glares, shoving the panties in his hands into his back pocket before going back to digging through her dresser.
"How do you expect me to wear them if you steal them?" She asks through the blunt between her lips.
"Oh, this is cute," He muses, ignoring her question as he pulls out a black plaid pleated skirt, "How come I've never seen you wear this?"
She looks at the clothing being held aloft between his fingers and shrugs, going back to her book.
"So woefully underused, aren't you?" He pouts, "I guess I'll have to fix that."
"No way, bucko, I'm not changing," She warns, not looking up from the inked pages in front of her, "I'm super comfy."
"Who said you were going to wear it?" He snipes back, standing up, "Looks just about my size."
She glances up when she hears him unzip his pants, eyes meeting his for a moment, "You gonna be a peeping tom over there?"
She raises one hand in surrender, "Sorry." She turns back to her book.
There's an array of shuffling fabric, before he stands in front of the bed, "Whaddya think?"
She looks back at him and she's taken aback, the skirt looks really cute on him. A lot cuter than it ever did on her, which is why it was gathering dust at the back of her dresser.
"Lookin good, Munson," She smiles honestly, making him flush slightly. She sits up and tosses her book aside, taking another hit, "Give us a spin."
He does a little twirl, skirt fluttering sightly and he freezes, a happily surprised look on his face, "Oh."
"Oh?"
His eyes find hers, "I think I just realized why girls like these so much."
She giggles when he starts swaying his hips to the music coming from her radio, grinning at the way the flowing fabric moves.
She watches him get used to how it feels before interrupting, "I think it's missing something."
"Oh yeah?" His voice excited.
She hums, snatching his pants from the floor and fiddling with them. She drops them back on the floor, turning to him with a smile and his chain and belt in her hands.
He has hearts in his eyes as he quickly tucks his shirt in and adds the accessories.
"Perfect!"
He looks at himself in the mirror for a moment before shaking his head, "No, not yet."
"What are you looking for?" She asks as he rummages around her room.
"I can't-" He opens her desk drawer, making a mess as he looks through it, "I want you to do my nails black."
"Oh!" She thinks for a moment before jumping on the bed. She leans over the edge, moving a couple shoes and soda bottles out of the way, "I got it!"
He pulls her back upright and into his lap, "Paint away gorgeous."
She tries to do a nice job, but it's hard when he keeps nipping at her ear and making her laugh.
"Hold still! You're gonna make me spill it!" She scolds.
"Hey, Mika?" There's a knock at the door.
"It's open!"
It opens and her little brother riot stands in the doorway, "Mom says she's ordering pizza, she wants to know if guys want some?"
"Ohh, Pizza sounds great, but we're heading to the movies soon."
"Whatever, cool skirt, Eddie." He says as he shuts the door.
"Riot likes my skirt," He grins proudly.
"I heard," She finishes his last few fingers and caps her polish, "So what were you thinking about going to see?"
"I was thinking of that new Disney one. What was it called? The one based on Sherlock Holmes."
"Great Mouse Detective," She says before holding his hands up, "Blow."
They each blow on one set of nails until she deems them dry enough by linking her fingers with his.
"I ever tell you I love you?" He sighs, kissing her hand.
"I think so... Refresh my memory?"
"I love you." The words spill from his lips before she finishes and she leans back into him.
"I love you too."
He looks over at the clock and jumps, "We gotta go if we wanna get there on time."
"The movie doesn't start for another hour."
"I wanna stop somewhere first."
"Oh, ok. You wanna bring your pants in case it gets chilly?" She asks as she grabs her bag.
"Nah, I'm man enough to ignore the cold," He grins, hand outstretched for her to take.
He holds the door for her when they get to Family Video, walking in behind her. After they find the movies he wanted to watch he goes up to the counter, hips swaying so the skirt swishes with each step.
"What are you wearing?" Steve asks.
"New skirt," Eddie smiles with a flourishing twirl, "Jealous Harrington?"
"Jealous? Of what?" He scoffs.
"That this ass is already spoken for, obviously," He teases, leaning his elbows on the counter, back arched to stick his butt out, "Cause it looks damn good right now."
"Get over yourself, Munson," He mutters as he puts the tapes into the system.
"Why don't you get over me?" He bites his lip, leaning further over the counter, putting his weight on his arms, and kicking his feet slightly.
"I'm sorry," Mika cuts in, stepping up behind him, "But are you flirting Edgar?"
"What?" He quickly stands up straight, "N-no!"
"Oh? Praytell then," She teases, "What were you doing?"
"Just showin' off my new duds to Harrington here," He plays with the ends of the fabric, "He thinks I look beautiful, don'tcha big boy?"
Steve's eyebrows furrow in confusion when Eddie blows him a kiss.
"Alright, you two gonna get a room, or are we going to the movies?" Mika asks, "Cause I'm going whether you are or not."
"My lady beckons," He sighs, hands wrapping around his freshly rented VHSs, "Our clandestine meeting must be cut short."
"Don't be so dramatic," Mika giggles, "You can talk to your boyfriend tomorrow."
"But Mikaelaaaa!" He whines as she pulls him towards the door, "It's destiny!"
"See you later Steve!" She waves.
"I don't get them." He mutters to himself in confusion as he watches them drive away.
⁙⁘⁙⁘⁙
"So which do you wanna watch first?" Eddie asks. He follows her through her house, as he looks at the tapes in his hand.
"I wanna watch... That ass get in my bed," She says, "I'm tired."
"Already? It's barely 11:00!"
"And I have work in the morning," She groans, turning to pout at him, "Now come on, I want my Eddie cuddles."
Her hands tug at his belt and he lets out a little growl, "How am I supposed to say no to you when you pout at me like that?"
He laughs when her face breaks into a grin and she pulls him toward her room.
"I love you in that, by the way," She comments when he sticks his thumbs in the waistband of the skirt to take it off, making him freeze.
"Really?" He smirks.
"Mmm, makes your ass look nice, and don't get me started on your hips!"
"Should I... leave it on?" He asks.
"I definitely wouldn't object."
He does take off his belt and chain before climbing into bed with her.
"What are you doing?" He asks when she straddles his legs, hands playing with the skirt's hem.
"Just admirin' how pretty you look," she reaches up to tuck his har behind his ear, "My pretty, pretty boy."
He looks at her with wide eyes and pink cheeks, "I should borrow your clothes more often."
She hums as she leans forward and kisses him, "I think you should keep it. Looks better on you anyway."
Her hands start to wander and he chuckles, "I thought you were tired, Songbird."
"'M not allowed to touch you anymore?" She whines. He melts when she nuzzles up against his neck, wrapping his arms around her.
"No, of course you can sweetheart," he kisses her hair, "But if my girl is sleepy, she should snuggle down and sleep."
"Mmm... okay." She relaxes against him, "Love you pretty boy Munson... My pretty boy."

What if - Eddie Munson x reader
There are spoilers under the cut!!
You have been warned!! TW: Season 4 (vol 2) spoilers, death mentioned, sadness, Happyish ending
Enjoy xxx
“I’m so sorry Mr Munson, we were both with him when he died” Dustin said to Eddie’s uncle, Y/N sat there silent, she couldn’t even fathom a way to figure out the right words to say so instead she just counted the tiles on the floor
“How are you?” Mr Munson asked Y/N, who lifted his gaze to his soft stare
“I’m ok” She lied through her teeth
“I know you two were planning a future” He admitted “Always heard you when you were in the trailer”
“Yeah, we always spoke about that” Y/N said
“We should really get back to the others” Dustin said “Do you want me to find someone to go home with you?” Dustin asked
“I’ve got a few friends taking me home” He said, Y/N felt comforted by the idea that he wasn’t going to be alone.
Y/N and Dustin watched as Mr Munson walked away, Dustin turned to Y/N with a soft smile
“It was the right thing to do” He said firmly
“Was it? I think we should have just kept him in the dark” Y/N said
“We had to tell him”
— —
Y/N pushed open the door to the old trailer which was hidden in the woods, far away from any prying eyes.
“Y/N?” A voice called from the bedroom
“It’s ok love it’s just me” Y/N answered dumping her bag on the sofa and striding through the trailer towards the sound of the voice
“How are you m’lady?” Eddie asked the moment Y/N came into view
“Need you” She hummed wrapping her arms around his middle, and burying her face into the crook of his neck, Eddie stayed silent for a moment knowing Y/N just needed a second of comfort before being bombarded with questions
“What happened?” Eddie asked when Y/N finally peeled herself off of him
“Saw your uncle” Y/N said sitting down on the bed,
“How was he?” Eddie asked, sitting beside her and gently taking her hands in his
“Not great” Y/N said quietly, keeping the image of Eddie’s uncle out of her mind
“What did he say?”
“Dustin told him the story we made up” She said “I don’t think we should have though, it’s going to break him”
“We had to Y/N” Eddie said gently placing a kiss to her hands “If anyone thought I was still alive they’d be hunting me down by now. You know we couldn’t risk that”
“Nancy said she might have a way to prove your innocence” Y/N said
“Thats something, right m’lady” Eddie said hopefully
“She said that we can use Max, something about fingerprints or something. I wasn’t really listening” Y/N admitted,
“Its ok, we’re going to figure this out” Eddie promised
“What if we don’t?” She asked “You can’t stay here forever” She huffed
“Then we find a little house away from Hawkins and build a life away from this town” Eddie said
“Eddie” Y/N whispered
“What if we just keep that idea as a backup?” He suggested “We spoke about it before”
“I know we did Eddie, but that was before we knew about Vecna and Max and Eleven, you don’t really think we could just leave do you?”
“We deserve to” Eddie whispered “We deserve a life where all of this stuff is just from D&D and we don’t ever have to worry about it again”
“I know, but we can’t just do that” Y/N said “We’ve got people here we have to protect” “And what if it isn’t me next time?” Eddie snapped quietly “What if next time it’s you that gets attacked and doesn’t survive?” He asked “what if next time we don’t make it out?” Y/N knew what he was suggesting and felt sick instantly
“You did survive, Eddie so we don’t have to think about that” she said
“Y/N I know you want to protect everyone but I’ve been a hero and if I got the choice again I’d run, I’d run away. If it meant I could live my life with you then I’d run every single time”
“I can’t loose you Eddie, but I don’t want to leave everyone behind”
“I know, and I’m hoping it won’t come to that m’lady” Eddie said pressing a kiss to her forehead
“We’re going to prove your innocence Eds, I swear it” Y/N said firmly
“I love you” Eddie whispered as they laid down on the bed and let sleep overtake them.

! Warning: weed, smoking, talks of drugs,
You hoped come that Monday, everything would be back to as it was before. You and Steve would partially ignore each other’s existence. You’d be the quiet outcast, read your book and get through the school day.
However, as soon as you arrived at the school and parked in your spot, Steve approached you. “why did you leave on Saturday before I could talk to you?”
You walk past him, hoping he gets the hint that you don’t want to speak to him, “I needed to go home and study.”
“bullshit. Y/n slow down. You’re like 15 minutes early for school! I had to get here 30 minutes early so I wouldn’t miss you walking in.”
“I have a long walk, Steve, I gotta go!”
He widens his steps and quickly steps in front of you, causing you to run into his hard chest, sending your frustration through the roof, “Steve! I have to go!”
You regretted every decision you’d made in the last 24 hours that was Steve related and wanted nothing more than to ignore him. You regretted going to his house to bring the cookies. You regretted caving and entering his house, and you regretted going to his basketball game. You partially regretted sitting with his mother, where the two caught up on everything to do with your life. She listened intently but also made sure to watch her son play. She even discussed how she wasn’t a fan of Nancy Wheeler and brought tears to your eyes when she said she wished the two of you had worked out, believing you two could still work it out if you both truly wanted too. It only confused your heart even more.
“No!” he says sternly, “We’re going to talk about this. I’ve made that mistake once.”
“You have a girlfriend, Steve,” you say defeated. “You have a girlfriend and this, us,” You motion between the two of you, “Is over. It has been for years. You broke my heart then and I won’t let it happen again.”
“There is something still between us, I know you felt it.”
“It wasn’t real Steve.” You say harshly, staring up at him, “It wasn’t real. We were kidding ourselves. So please, leave it alone. Leave me alone and let’s go back to ignoring each other.”
He shakes his head in denial, “No, I can’t do that.” As you sidestep him, he blocks your path.
“Steve!” You snap, growing impatient.
“Everything okay over here?” Eddie asks with an easiness in his voice as he approaches the two of you.
“Stay out of this, Munson.” Steve snaps at him, pointing an accusing finger, “This has nothing to do with you.”
“Well, it sounds like she asked you to leave her alone.” He steps forward, his back now to Steve as he stands between the two of you, “you okay?” Eddie takes in your tear-filled eyes. It’s the moment he tells himself, if he’s ever given the chance to love you, given the chance to show your worth, you wouldn’t be in tears. He wasn’t the one who caused the tears, but it made his heart ache, and he knew he never wanted to see you in that state again.
“She’s fine.” Steve answers for you.
“Dude.” Eddie faces Steve, “I wasn’t asking you.”
“I’m fine. I need to get to class.” You use Steve’s distraction with Eddie to your advantage and head toward the school, tears blurring your vision that you almost run into a bystander.
“Mind your damn business, Munson.” Eddie rolls his eyes and heads toward the school, leaving Steve standing in the parking lot, fuming about how that conversation went.
~
Eddie realized when he walked into the cafeteria at lunch time, you weren’t in your usual spot, but had picked a far corner and was leaned against the wall, your legs pulled tightly against your chest.  You were tucked in a hoodie with the Hobbit opened in front of you.
Eddie wasn’t stupid or blind. He knew what a broken heart looked like. He knew what it meant to keep a guarded heart and he promised himself, he wouldn’t push you. He would wait until you were ready. You would be the one to let him know. He respected you enough to be patient.
He headed your way, greeting you with a soft smile, “hey.”
“hey,” You say softly sitting up to engage in the conversation and letting your feet hit the floor.
“may I sit?” He asks about the seat across from you.
“yeah yeah of course.” You shut the book, bookmarked placed snuggly on the page you were reading.
He takes a seat and for a moment there’s a silence drifting between you. Your mind was somewhere else. “Are you busy after school? I think I have the perfect place for you.”
“And where would that be?” You lean on your elbows, intrigued.
“It’s a surprise. You have to trust me. Can you do that?” He leans forward on his elbows, mimicking you. He places his chin in his hands, earning a smile from you. He was so cute.
“I trust you, Eddie Munson.” You match him, placing your chin in your own hands. Your faces weren’t far apart. You could see he had the tiniest freckle above his lip. “But we have to skip after lunch and go.”
“What?!” He broke into a large smile, “you? Skip school? I don’t know. My bad influence might be rubbing off on you.”
You laugh, “I mean, if you don’t want to-”
“No I do!” He taps the table with his hands, “let’s do it.”
You grab your bag, “Let’s go then.”
He watches you stand, “Wait, now?”
“uh yeah?” You laugh, “Why wait until the end of lunch.”
“Shit, okay.” He stands, “let’s go.” He holds his elbow to you, “My lady.”
You happily loop your hand through, “why thank you kind sir.”
~
He drove you to woods, parking off the road. You raise an eyebrow at him, “Eddie..”
“Oh god. It’s not what it looks like! I promise. It’s only a little walk to where we’re heading.” He turns the van off and hops out, but you’re hesitant.
He leans back in through the opened door, hands on the driver’s seat, “If you don’t want to, we can go hang somewhere else.” He grabs the small lunch box from between the seats.
What did you have to lose? You did trust him. He wouldn’t take advantage of you. “No I trust you.” You exit the vehicle and meet him out at the front of the van, taking his arm once more as the two of you make the trek through the woods.
“Do you want to talk about what happened this morning with Steve?” He asks, glancing down at you as you both walked.
You shrugged, “It was nothing.”
“It didn’t look like anything. You were pretty upset.” He points out.
You grow quiet and he decides to add, “Screw Steve. Let’s move on to more important conversations. Like my wonderful Whitney Houston cover the other night.”
You let out a laugh at the memory, “it was perfect.”
“The band doesn’t know this but we’re going to become a Whitney Houston cover band.”
“Stop it!” You gently smack him in the arm.
“And you’re the reasoning behind the change. You inspired me.”
“Stop!” You laugh, “They will hate me! They already do for you making them play the song for me.”
“They adore you. Couldn’t stop talking about you after the show. They enjoyed having their number one fan there.” He bumps his shoulder against yours, “They said if you hang out more though, I have to get you to listen to real music.”
“I do listen to real music!” You defend. “I love Whitney Houston.”
“Yeah but she’s not real music. Real music is Metallica. Or Iron Maiden.” He argues.
You sigh in defeat, “Fine. You’ll just have to show me their music then. What if I don’t like it?”
“Oh you’ll love it. You liked that first song we played didn’t you? I saw you bobbing your head to the beat.”
“it was okay.”
“Okay?!” he shrieks, “It’s only the best song on this universe!”
You stare up at him in adoration, the way his face lights up as he talks about music. You let him go on and on telling you about the band and the songs they play.
He slows his talking when he sees you staring up at him, “What? Am I talking too much?”
“No you’re just.. you’re so passionate about music. Your face lights up when you talk about it.” You smile, “I love hearing you talk about music.”
“Oh,” His head tilts downward, shifting his gaze to the left, “Yeah I love music. It came to me at a really difficult time. My parents passed away when I was about.. 10 and my uncle took me in. I was in a really bad place, mentally. Even at 10 years old. It was rough losing both parents at the same time. And my uncle, he’s the reason I love music. He introduced me to most of these bands and he bought me my first guitar, worked two jobs to pay for lessons. I guess they paid off because now I have this awesome band and play every week at the Hideout.”
You gently squeeze his arm, “I’m so proud of you for finding your passion, even in such a difficult time. You’ve turned it into a great talent.”
“Thank you,” He doesn’t meet your eyes, suddenly embarrassed at the praise. It wasn’t a normal thing for him, “well, it’s through these trees and we’ll be where I was talking about.”
As you two ventured through the thick trees, it cleared to a large lake surrounded by trees. “Don’t hate me, but it is called Lover’s Lake.”
“You sly guy.”
“I didn’t name the lake!” He takes a seat on the edge of the lake, patting the spot next to him and opening his lunch box.
“You know I see you carry that thing everywhere, but never open it for food.” You purse your lips, peeking in the box.
He holds out a bag of joints, “To make our worries go away.”
Your jaw dropped and your eyes went wide, “oh my god, is that weed?!” You quickly pressed his hand down to hide the bag surveying your surroundings, “Eddie Munson we could get in trouble with that!”
“God, I hope you’re not a paranoid smoker.” He opens the bag, “No one ever comes back here. There’s no fish, the lake isn’t safe to swim in and too far off the road to even know we’re back here.”
He holds a joint to you, “Now, I usually charge $25 a joint.”
You hesitate to grab it, “Eddie..”
“But for a first timer, the first one is always free.” He winks.
You press your lips together to stop a smile, “Eddie, I’ve never even smoked a cigarette before!”
“You just inhale, let it sit for a moment and then exhale.” He takes his lighter out of his pocket and places the joint between his lips, lighting it, “Like this.” He inhales, holding it for a moment and then exhales. He holds the joint to you, “If you really don’t want to, I will not pressure you. Please know that.” He’s truthful in his reassurance and you can tell, knowing all you had to say was no, he wouldn’t ask again.
You bite your lip, a sudden feeling of rebellion surging through you, “Okay,” You huff, “No I’m going to do it.” You take the joint and with shaky hands place the joint between your lips, inhaling deeply, but you couldn’t hold it long, exhaling in a coughing fit.
He’d be lying if he didn’t say he was slightly turned on at the sight of you with a joint between your lips. “It’s okay to cough, you’re not use to it.”
He takes it from you as you continue to cough, waving your hand, “That was not good at all,”
He takes another hit of the joint.
You hold you fingers out for the joint but he skips your fingers completely, placing it directly at your lips. Your eyes lock on his as you inhale, holding the breath for a moment and then exhaling. There was less coughing.
“You know Steve would kill me right now.”
“Why’s that?” He finishes the joint, discarding it safely.
“because we took an oath to never smoke. He HATED smoking. Cigarettes, joints, whatever.” Eddie shrugs, ‘I did too, but look at me now.”
He sets the lunchbox aside and leans back on his elbows, “And you know Steve doesn’t own you, right? You’re your own person.”
“Oh, yeah I know.” You place your hands in your lap, “Sorry I don’t know why I brought him up.” You divert your eyes elsewhere, gazing out at the lake.
“Never apologize for that. It doesn’t bother me if you want to talk about it. About him.” He places a hand on your knee, squeezing softly.
You chew on your lip, “No.” You look back at him, “Nope, we aren’t going to talk about him.” You lean back on your elbows next to him, “So when will this hit me?”
 ~
You two stayed out there for hours, talking about anything and everything. You two were lost in conversation and hadn’t even noticed as the sun began to set over the lake, giving the gentle yellow and smidge of red in the sky.
“God, I love sunsets.” You sit up, leaning back on your hands as you admire the sunset.
Eddie is leaned on his right side, facing you. His hand cradling his head as he stares up at you, the tiny glint in your eyes as you stared at the sunset above you.
You point out the smidge of red, now turning a pink, “My favorite part is the changing of colors. It could be this bright red and only a few minutes later could be pink mixed with purple.” You glance down at him, to see him staring at you with the matched adoration, suddenly feeling embarrassed. “What?”
He shakes his head with a smile, sitting up, “I’m currently kicking myself for not speaking to you sooner.” He takes a moment to rub his hands together, getting the dirt off.
“And why’s that?”
“Because,” He nervously wipes his hands on his jeans, “oh god, this is going to sound so cheesy,” he chuckles nervously.
“come on, tell me,” You encourage, placing a hand over his knee, “no matter how cheesy.”
“nah.” He shakes his head, standing, “I can’t.” He wipes the dirt off his jeans, “you ready to go?”
“no.” You stand, “I want to hear what you have to say. You can’t say that to a girl and then not follow through!”
“okay look,” He kicks at a rock, “I’ve had a crush on you for years.” He glances at you, standing nearby contently listening, “And you may have not known me at the time, but I was jealous of Steve for being with the most beautiful girl in Hawkins.” He can see you’re still listening and so he continues, “Anyways, after he broke your heart, I could see a difference in you. You lost a piece of you that day, that spark.” He clenches his fist in front of him, then releases it, “And I wanted nothing more than to help you find it, but I was terrified of talking to you. I knew I wouldn’t be good enough for you, how could I be after you were with Steve Harrington, the king!”
He stops messing with the rocks on the ground and stares over at you, “Anyways, I guess what I am trying to say is, I finally had the balls to talk to you and I want you to know,” He takes a step closer to you, “if you give me a chance, I will never hurt you. I will never betray you, betray your trust or your heart. I will wholeheartedly love you with everything I have, with my whole being.” Another step, you’re close enough to touch him, “You deserve to be happy,” He gently runs his finger on the corner of your lips, “And have that smile on your face every minute of the day. Not that soft smile bull shit, but the one where you get the dimple.” He gently points out where the dimple is, “Right here.”
“Oh Eddie,” You take his wrist in your hand, slowly pulling it from your face, both your hands becoming intertwined, “You couldn’t have spoken kinder words and I know you mean every single one of them.” Your y/c/e blur with tears, “but I can’t, not yet.” You place a hand over your heart, “I can’t open my heart for anyone right now-”
“And I’m willing to wait.” He reassures you with a smile, “I’ve waited this long. What’s a little while longer?” He brings your intertwined hands toward him, pressing a soft kiss on your hands, “Just don’t wait 3 years like I did, okay?”
You laugh and nod, “Deal.”
He wipes a stray tear, “Say the words. I’ll be waiting.” He slowly lets go of your hand, “Now, you ready to head home?”
Steve knew you’d skipped the second half of school. You didn’t show up for your shared history class at the end of the day and when he asked one of the girls you called a friend, she said you left early, with Eddie Munson.
He was furious, fuming. Eddie Munson wasn’t someone you needed to hang out with. He’d corrupt you into someone you weren’t.
He kept glancing out his window, waiting for you to pull into the drive, but your car was still no where to be seen. It was getting late and he only grew more worried with every passing minute especially when the sun had set and night settled in. He couldn’t believe it when he saw Eddie’s van pull into your driveway and you step out.
“Thank you for today.” You tell Eddie as he closes the passenger door behind you, “I needed it.”
He slips his hands in his jean jacket, “It was a killer evening.”
You motion to the garage, “I actually don’t have my car,” You laugh, “So, I have no ride to school.”
He nods, “It’s a good thing I do.” He motions to the van, “I’d be happy to take you to school in the morning.” As the two of you walk side by side to the door, unbeknownst that Steve was already heading your way.
“You planned this didn’t you?” You say with an accusing smile.
“You know,” he shrugs, “some things just happen in my favor.”
“What the hell, y/n.” Steve is fuming, “It’s almost 10 o clock and you skipped school today?”
You and Eddie exchange a look, “Eddie, I’ll see you in the morning.”
“I’ll pick you up around 7:50?”
You nod in agreement and Eddie begins to walk toward his van, reluctant to leave you and Steve alone. “Steve, what the hell is wrong with you!” You pull your house keys out of your purse.
He scrunches his nose at the smell, “jesus christ, you reek of weed! Now he has you smoking weed? What the hell is next, cocaine?”
You unlock your door, “Steve, you aren’t going to do this. You have no right to even come over here, judging me of my actions. Not after everything you’ve put me through. You’re not some saint either. It’s not a secret what you and Tommy do on the weekends. Smoking and drinking while your parents aren’t home.”
Steve wears a shocked expression, “That’s not even-”
“Yeah Tommy doesn’t know how to keep his mouth shut. So don’t even come at me with the judgement.” You open the door and he catches it with his foot before you can close it on him and places his large hand on the door. “Let me take you to school tomorrow.”
“Eddie’s taking me tomorrow.” You shrug, “I already have a ride.”
“he’s the last person you should be spending your time with. He’s the local drug dealer for god’s sake!”
“Funny, how was that weed Tommy had last weekend?” You raise an eyebrow at him, “Tommy bought it off Eddie, and from what Tommy said, you enjoyed it too.”
“He’s bullshitting, I didn’t even smoke any.” He tries to defend, “that’s not even the point.”
“Don’t act like you’re Mr. Perfect. Now get your hand off my god damn door.”
“He’s only going to end up hurting you.” He moves his hand but not his foot.
