So about a month ago, @robintora asked me if I had considered editing a better version of that sparkly pink monstrosity from CoP. I finally got around to it, so here it is y’all! Hope you like it 😅😊

For this edit, I basically wanted to use the best elements of the original so that the inspiration was still apparent. That was hard af in the beginning because I couldn’t find anything I really liked about the dress 💀 But that’s also what made this such a good challenge for me, so I really appreciate @robintora asking me about it! It really reminded me how important it is to look closer at things and not just write them off after a snap judgement

oh okay i get the confusion now. it seems the person who made the dress mixed up "the 18th century" with "the 1800s" and thats why she was calling an 18th century inspired dress victorian

#i went to her account to get a better look at it and also to see if she herself called it that #and yeah the bodice shape sleeve length and amount of embellishments are all very rococo #the skirt i suppose could pass for victorian but i think that's due to the lack of padding #i was going somewhere with this. right! the art that inspired this dress was labeled ''18th century'' so that's where the mix-up is #vel.txt
