Emma says it regularly throughout conversation, and with most hellos and goodbyes. For some people, it might be too much, but she means it every time.

Ithaqua says it several times whenever either of you has to go, to kiss up when you’re upset with him, and as part of his case whenever he wants to convince you not to do something.

Victor signs off every letter to you, big or small, with some form of it. He says it less verbally, but always during meaningful moments.

Eli doesn’t want to go overboard and says it just a little above average. He’s a bit of a romantic and has a very good sense for when are the best times to lay it on you. It’s very sweet!

Antonio probably sets the standard for this, honestly. Once a day is his average, but he also says it whenever he’s exasperated with you. (Both as a reminder to himself to be patient, and as a signal for you to ease up on him.)

Aesop is also pretty average, though it sounds choked about half the time. He finds it a little embarrassing to say it, but since he knows it’s an important part to romantic relationships, he forces himself to say it more than is natural for him. But don’t feel bad, you’re worth the discomfort.

Naib is a little scared to. “I love you” makes it real, and real hurts even more if something happens to you. That said, he knows he can’t let his fear rule over an important aspect of the relationship like that. He takes longer than most to say it for the first time, but after that says it reasonably often, like once every few days. He always says it before one of you enters a match, too.

Kevin is perhaps a bit shocking because he is such a flirt. He just busies his mouth with so many other compliments that “I love you” doesn’t get to slip out as much. If you ever mention that it’s been a while since he’s said it, he starts tripping over himself to shower you with it.

Norton just forgets a lot of the time. Actions speak louder than words, as far as he’s concerned, so telling you verbally isn’t something that crosses his mind. He will get better with time if you communicate that it’s an issue for you.

Joseph thinks you’re just supposed to know, honestly. He says it only in private, deeply meaningful moments and nothing more than that. He doesn’t really care if it’s an issue that he says it so sparingly…unless you cry. Then he might care a little.

He isn't the type of person for a charity case. He prefers to work hard to achieve what he wants. It not only, shows that he deserves it, but it's plenty refreshing when he actually earns it. So he's a little off put by your generosity at first...

Everytime you give him something. He clarifies "I'm not giving this back".

He's always dumbfounded by the "I know!" Response he got back. Sure, there was generosity... But you were either just.. Stupid or had no sense of value to anything. He just sort of... Questions your sanity a bit.

📖 𝐎𝐫𝐩𝐡𝐞𝐮𝐬 📖

Honestly, he finds it pretty damn endearing. He doesn't really need anything, but the way you just give anything up to anyone in need truly inspires him.

It's also a little concerning-. Like... You need to take care of yourself, please start putting yourself before other people. You're just as important as others.

He definitely feels bad everytime you're left on chair. You're the type of person to give the shirt of your back to someone in need, so how is it fair that you always get sent back?

He definitely gives back to you in some way. Maybe he slides you some of his own food when he's not hungry to make sure you're getting properly fed, or bodyblock you so you quite literally can't sacrifice yourself without wasting precious time and energy. Hehe, sneaky novelist.

🌿 𝐄𝐦𝐦𝐚 𝐖𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐬 🌿

This girl finds it a little funny that you're always getting sent back to the manor. It's not anything too bad.. It's just an instinct for you to throw yourself into danger so she can escape. It's pretty sweet..

She's also pretty self sacrificing herself. So you know that one picture where it's this couple being held at gun point and they keep going 'noo' to protect each other? Yeah that's you two.. It's all pretty light hearted though.

Does not forget to show you love for all the things you do for her. Flowers litter your room, attempted meals made by her showcase her appreciation and lots of affection. She truly does appreciate you.

She knows you can be pretty self sacrificial so she's often trying to help you out by disabling chairs before you can actually get chaired. This gives you a small opportunity to self heal and RUN.

🟢 𝐍𝐚𝐢𝐛 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐫 🟢

Listen. He loves you. But oh my gOD. He does all of those rescues FOR NOTHING. CAN YOU AT LEAST TRY TO STAY OUT OF DANGER BECAUSE YOU ARE ON YOUR LAST CHAIR AND HE ABSOLUTELY WILL LEAVE YOU HERE.

He appreciates any food you give him. But, he will often half the food you do give to him. Like, if you slyly slip a loaf of bread suddenly onto his place, expect to enjoy half of it with him. He knows what it's like to go hungry and he doesn't want you to experience that.

No matter how many times you frustrate him to hell and back with your absolutely generosity and kindness, he can't help but admire that about you. The world is filled with assholes of every degree, you make this manor a little more tolerable.. Sometimes.

He can also be kind of self sacrificing due to his time in the army, so he will also do his best to make sure you're in tip top shape, but he will indulge in your kindness as some sort of guilty pleasure for the mercenary

Truth & Inference headcanons working together

It's been a while since I wanted to put down on paper all the knowledge I have about the Truth & Inference universe, so… here it is

D.M/Désire Mélodis

• As a famous nobleman and art teacher, in front of others he treats you well and pleasantly, not so much when behind closed doors,

• He often sends you on missions with Noir or simply to come if Gatto is okay,

• Even though it doesn't seem like much, he actually cares about you, always teasing you and things like that,

• If you stay in the same environment as him, Noir and Tuberose, the only one who will defend you will be Noir because both Tuberose and D.M will provoke you,

• D.M is like a devil in human skin, but anyway he thinks you are a very important person in his life and will take care of you,

• He often likes to show you off as his, even though you are just an employee at his service, he is very proud of the little mouse he has in his hands

Gatto/Aesop Carl

• Gatto is by no means a person who enjoys company other than four-legged furry ones, but after so long he has learned not to care so much about you,

• Cat and the other kitties seem to just love you, so it makes Gatto feel a little better around you,

• Both you and him share the fear of being left alone with Tuberose,

• As you have a degree in chemistry, he usually asks for your help when he has some difficulty in an experiment,

• Usually trusts you to make his coffee and look after Cat while he's away,

• You are the only person he trusts to tell you that he has been leaking information about D.M to Sir Inference and you don't really care about it, but you still promised to keep it secret from the others for the safety of the Silent Rebel

Tuberose/Jack

• As soon as D.M told him that you would be his partner, be sure he held back a lot until the day he could have your confidence to tease you,

• Generally he likes to talk about Lady Rosemary and you can be sure that this conversation only ends when you end up sleeping,

• Even though he is an idiotic provocateur, he is very kind when he wants to be,

• As I said, he has his moments of kindness, presenting you with flowers, but then he goes back to teasing you again if he sees your face flushed,

• Pray you never have him and D.M in the same room, they both love to tease you,

• We all know that Tuberose is a hot man, and he clearly knows that so the normal tease he uses on you is just how you look at his six-pack on display.

Noir/Saphir Mélodis

• You and him always worked together because you both wanted to, not at D.M's request,

• Since you've known each other since you were children, it's as if you two can read each other's minds and that helps a lot when it comes to getting your hands dirty,

• It's not just him who has a certain affection for you, Leon your falcon also likes you a lot and likes to receive affection from you,

• D.M lets the two of you stay together because he says Noir is happy in his company and performs great on missions when he's by his side,

• Of course, not everything is a bed of roses, after all, there isn't a day that goes by that Tuberose doesn't tease you because of his childhood relationship with Noir,

Lady Truth/Emma Woods

• Even with his serious demeanor, he cares a lot about you and often asks if you're okay,

• When the two of you are alone, he often shares his concerns about D.M.

• Usually you, him and Lady Truth go to events as guests and you can be sure that you are the only person who can calm him down when they meet D.M,

• D.M, in turn, really likes to provoke the detective and you, which clearly doesn't come very cheaply to the count,

• As your relationship with him is long-standing, you understand each other without needing words and he also trusts your deduction a lot.

White/Saphir Mélodis

• He is always extremely affectionate with you,

• You two haven't known each other long, but you feel like you've known each other for a long time,

• His owl also loves to sit on his shoulder and receive affection,

• He usually sleeps at work, according to him it's a nap to work better, but he usually keeps muttering things like "I really like your company" and things like that while he calls your name in his sleep,

• On his days off he loves going out with you to a park and being able to sleep under a tree on your lap, according to him it's a moment of peace for him,

• There's no denying that he's extremely cute, and sometimes he uses that to his advantage to get your attention.

Happy Valentine's Day - Idv x Reader Headcanons

Note: I added Emma to this headcanon since she is the owner of the shop. So you can consider that she is an additional route.

Jack the Ripper

Although you know how sinister he is, that won't stop him from greeting you "Happy Valentine's Day."

He gave you the product he purchased but you were not expecting that he also gave you a rose he bought for himself the other day.

He did had a polite chat with you and know that you are the reason why he was in a good mood. As a reward he offered you to go on a hang out with him to a cafe that serves delicious chocolate there.

Norton Campbell

Sure he is sassy, sure he is greedy and a bit of an angsty. You might find yourself catching you off guard when he ask you to go on a date with him for food.

Of course, he will be asking you to pay him money since he liked to be a rich person.

However there are times where he does want to get closer to you. You may not see it but he was making sure that you are safe and not harmed, just be aware that you might want to pay him in return...

Emil

Unfortunately, he has a lover and he doesn't want to cheat on his lover Ada once you found out about his relationship. However Emil gave you a friendly card so the thought counts.

There might be a day that you would talk to Ada and Emil but something tells you to give them their space.

Tip of the day: Don't steal their lover.

Annie Lester

A shy timid girl she is, but was honestly flattered when you wanted to have a nice time with her over a cup of hot chocolate.

You would often find her staring at you from the distance and yet she just wanted to show you her wares about what she wanted to show. Yet again you two did talk about that with interesting ideas.

At the end of the night she had a good time and gave you a nice hug before exiting the store. She was once shy but she was actually happy to have fun with you.

Victor Grantz

He is shy but his buddy Wick was there to keep you company. It was a nice hang out with him that you might catch him blushing when he is having too much fun.

Plus Victor gave you a letter that indicates his appreciation towards you, it was a very sweet letter that you gave him your gift for free.

Be prepared for a long letter chat from him from time to time.

Aesop Carl

He arrived to your store just to have a conversation with you over a cup of hot tea about deep dark conversations. Knowing him, he knows that you talk too much but it really caught his attention to hear a different opinion.

The hang-out was actually enjoyable for the both of you while watching the snow falling slowly.

But once it was time for him to go home, he gave you his rose from his breast pocket telling you that he was fond of talking about deep conversations with you before leaving.

Emma Woods

Your owner aka boss decided to hang out with you just for a simple hang out. Talking about businesses but also about what type of flowers that she wanted to bring to the store.

She was enjoying herself talking about various new types of flowers that she started talking about having a greenhouse at the side of the store for sight seeing or a mini garden.

Seeing her that happy makes you want to work hard for her, and yet Emma actually appreciates you for the chat and hot chocolates for the night.

Snowball Fights!

(It keeps getting hotter and hotter outside, iIm indulging in some wishful thinking despite the fact that I’ve never actually seen enough snow to have a snowball fight :((

-In Leo’s Memory, it's always snowing

-so let’s add a little bit of spice

-The scene opens, its the dead of winter and an announcement broadcasts throughout the Manor, everyone’s ears filled with the unexpected message

-“Due to increasingly dangerous weather, matches for the time being will be canceled. We are sorry for the delay, and will do our best to monitor the weather and resume activities as soon as possible.”

-Despite having questions about the message, why it was worded that way, and what exactly it meant, not a single soul was upset about the matches being canceled

-Now, everyone had to figure out what to do with their newfound free-time

Naib

-It was mainly curiosity. You wondered what the weather was really like, as you were under the impression that the playing fields were all under strict and controlled conditions. 

-But when you stepped foot outside and were promptly met with flurries of snowflakes finding ephemeral rest on your hair and face, then melting away, you couldn’t help your excitement. 

-At first, you wanted to make a snowball to bring inside and throw at him, but you felt no one would be appreciative of the mess you would have made.

-So, you settled for the next best way to surprise him

-You had to sneak around the manor to avoid him and find someone willing to help you, finally, you settled on gaining the assistance of William, who was always up for some fun tricks, especially against the stoic Mercenary

-You told him to find Naib and tell him that his presence is required imminently out in the specific open area in the garden… just… make it sound believable, you ran off in that direction one William received and agreed to the task

-Now, it was your time to prepare.

-You make a small pile of fresh, tightly packed snowballs

-Winding up and raring to go, you spot your target out of the corner of your eye

-“NAIB!!” You yell, releasing your frozen attack the moment his head whips around to meet your mischievous eyes

-When the ball of snow bursts, shatters, and envelops his face, you could practically see the heat melting the snow off, he might be angry

-he would be if it were anyone else

-Instead, he playfully growls, approaching you at a high speed before you know it.

-You yelp and run from your stash of ammo, allowing him to gain two advantages over you

-As he runs with precision and steadiness, he gathers a few of your snow-balls in his arms

-suddenly, you’re freezing

-the snow, which you had already been standing in for a while, seemed to decrease in temperature, as well as what he had already thrown at you

-The tides had turned, now you want to go back inside

-but he’s not done

-As you’re distracted, looking for the best way to escape the cold grounds, he puts into motion his final attack, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist and pulling you to the ground

-now you’re both covered in snow and freezing

-but it's worth it to see that breathless smile on his face

-He’s laughing in triumph over you

-but despite how bad the cold, you think you won

Emma

-Oh my goodness, what a sweetheart

-The first thing she does after the announcement is find you to see if you want to do anything fun together

-You, of course, suggest playing in the snow

-She thinks it's a wonderful idea

-She’ll lead you around to find other people who want to play

-but if no one else wants to leave the safely and warmth of the Manor, you two are happy to play alone

-after all, when you’re together, you’re never alone

-But almost no one can resist Emma’s infectious happiness

-especially not you

-So, you, Emma, and a small gathering consisting of Kevin, Demi, Murro, and Memory go out to have fun

-The day starts with Memory getting help from the two of you to make a snow replica of Murro’s Boar

-You soon rope Kevin and Demi into the task as well

-and by the end of it, Murro and his boar are posing dramatically while a white semblance of them that would probably disgrace the sculptor or any other artist of the manor, but it brought the six of you joy, and at this point, that’s all you care about

-making the most of the days you have, where everyone can be happy

-as you dwell on this thought, the others notice your eyes looking somewhere that cannot be perceived by them

-Emma knows you aren’t unhappy, but wants to pull you back to reality before you lose yourself in your thoughts

-and that's how the situation you’re currently in started

-Emma being the first attacker, and you, the victim

-The stark cold of the snow did well to yank you from uncertainty’s dark grasp

-When you tried to retaliate, you missed Emma severely, instead, hitting Demi’s shoulder

-you try to gasp out an apology when her eyes narrow, but as you watch her pick up snow, you realize she doesn’t have malicious intent

-You duck and cover when she ends up just flinging snow towards you, not packing it enough to constitute being called a “snow-ball”

-It gets all over you, Emma, and Memory

-The three of you work together to gather three armfuls of snow to dump on Demi, she leads you over to Kevin and Murro, effectively bringing everyone in the game

-The game didn’t continue much longer after that, it was fun while it lasted, but everyone was cold, ready to go back in and add this event to their memories by the fire with a nice warm drink

-Emma agrees with you, taking it upon herself to lead you to the fireplace fit to warm even the coldest of hearts

-Though, it won’t be necessary for either of you

-You’re both as warm as you can be right next to each other

Victor

-It’s actually not either of you that start the snow day

-You know who really loves to roll in the snow and frolic around in the delicate blanket of cold softening the ground?

-That’s right! Wick the ever-loyal post dog!

-It’s Wick who gently barks at Victor to get his attention

-and it’s Wick who pushes against your legs until you are where he wants you

-he wants you to open the doors for him, so he can get outside and play

-you share a quick smile with Victor, then go chase after Wick who still desires attention

-Hey, Victor wants attention too

-But he’s just as happy watching you play with Wick

-He used to think that it was easy to hide your true emotions when face to face with someone

-That only through the written word could thoughts be truly and genuinely expressed

-but when he looked at you

-that ideal went away

-seeing how you laughed when Wick jumped around to catch the snow you were flicking at him

-the redness in your cheeks, the puffs of breath he could see from the cold, and your rising and falling chest as you run and jump and romp in the snow

-it all felt so real to him

-you could never hide that

-and he wouldn’t want you to

-He’s distracted, you can tell. You don’t know what he’s thinking, but if his lax posture and light grin was a sign of anything, it was good

-and while you hated to pull him out of whatever good thoughts he was having at the moment

-you couldn’t help your frisky ones

-so, you did as any good friend would do

-and toss a snow-ball

-not hard, you wouldn’t hurt him

-but right on his head so that when it breaks, it showers light powder all over him

-he turns to you, incredulous

-how could you do this to him

-he’s hurt

-broken

-destroyed

-He says this with his eyes, pulling a hand to his chest in feign desperation

-gradually closing the distance between you

-You have to admit

-his acting is good, if you didn’t know any better, looking into his eyes, you genuinely would think he’s about to cry

-But instead, he can’t help his large grin as he, too, gathers a large bundle of snow

-you can’t do anything, he towers over you

-for once, he takes distinct advantage of his sheer height

ㅤㅤIt has been over a year ever since you set foot inside the gates of Oletus manor.

ㅤㅤThat was the last time you had ever tasted delightful freedom before being forcefully thrown into a metal cage, never to be let out until the Baron behind this twisted “game” declares it over.

ㅤㅤLike the others, you were also lured in with an epistle, claiming a reward beyond any grandiose desire — in return for being the victor in the carnival game the Baron hosted. You were too naïve to notice. Too ingenuous to discern that the letter was riddled with lies, that this "reward" was too good to be true. You seethed, although it was briefly cut short.

ㅤㅤThe rage you now formerly felt was converted into a desperate will to survive. Dread clouded you perpetually as you observed the amount of people decreasing from the day before. All who were announced as deceased after a game was finished. You grew paranoid each passing match, fearing those disfigured monsters who ruthlessly executed the participants would also get you one day.

ㅤㅤBut you knew you mustn't let terror and despair engulf you. No, you had to stay determined.

ㅤㅤ.. Though, sometimes you can’t help but be vulnerable at times.

ㅤㅤFor the sixth time this week, you sauntered in the manor garden. The matches noticeably increased in frequency, and so did the length of your visits. You found yourself nothing but enervated. In an effort to save your already waning mental well being, you sought solace in the sanguine atmosphere of the garden.

ㅤㅤA familiar, saccharine voice called out your name upon entering. At once, you knew who it belonged to — Emma Woods. The gardener who would routinely be at the indoor garden, tending to numerous kinds of botany. Her daily occurrence made her often your source of company. She was always there, whether it was through subtle gestures or a full-fledged conversation. You let the sides of your lips curl upwards into an affable smile, to which she reciprocated pleasantly.

ㅤㅤDespite being confined in such a miserable estate, you recognize you are not the only one. Thus, meaningful connections were built over the course of time. One of those connections being the brunette. She was one of the few who greeted you with a sincere welcome upon your arrival. The majority greeted you too, albeit with a cautious — and sometimes hostile — undertone.

ㅤㅤYou couldn't blame them. Shortly after, you found out almost everyone in the manor was quite odd and threatening. It felt as though you could never let your guard down with any of them around. As you barely knew anyone in the manor aside from the girl, you made the gardener one of your few well-trusted companions. Time spent with the brunette made being stuck in the manor less agonizing.

ㅤㅤ“You’re just in time. Come, I have something for you!” Emma grasped your hand and led you to a secluded area in the garden. You came to look at what she had for you — spotting elegant azure blue flowers blooming in the area. Curious, you took a step forward to observe the flora further.

ㅤㅤ"Do you like it?" She queried, following suit to stand next to you. The plant bloomed delicate cerulean petals. In its center lay bewitching golden eyes, accompanied with white appendages surrounding the fornice. A carmine hue tinted your cheeks as you thanked her for the lovely gift. You see the delightful expression she held seemed to become even brighter, if that was even possible.

ㅤㅤ"These are called Scorpion Grasses, also known as Forget-Me-Nots. It’s a low maintenance plant that grows well in shady spots the indoor garden provides." She maundered, “Scorpion grass usually takes two or three months to fully mature, I'm glad it bloomed sooner than I thought."

ㅤㅤ"I like to think that these flowers represent the symbol of our companionship. As well as my offering to commemorate our time together!” The brunette clasped her hands with a prideful beam.

ㅤㅤTo say you were flattered was an understatement. You were left agape and beyond words. The already cerise flush grew deeper; at this point, your very face could put the Weeping Clown's maroon locks to shame.

ㅤㅤIt was adorable seeing how enthusiastic the gardener was while presenting such a thoughtful gesture. You were overjoyed, yet a slight sense of guilt and remorse lingered upon realizing you possessed nothing to offer in return. You hung your head low, desperately and urgently scouring for words to utter from your lexicon.

ㅤㅤ“You don’t have to say anything. I can see it written all over you.”

ㅤㅤShe held your hand once more with tender grace and steered it to a dangerous proximity near her cheek. Blush sat prominently on the bold expression she carried. An expression that had you reeling. Your hand remained in hers, fondling her cheek meekly.

ㅤㅤTime seemed to halt, its motionless hands entrapping the beautiful scenery shared by you and your companion. You and she both felt at ease. Troubles and woe ceased, and instead, a wave of tranquility and bliss seeped through your figure. For the first time in a while, you finally let your guard down.

ㅤㅤIt was almost unbelievable. To think a saint like Emma was included as a participant in this grotesque, macabre game. You never would have guessed. But you know everyone dwelling in this manor has ulterior motives, good or bad. You can’t trust someone fully. You know better than to be fooled. Is what you always say to yourself.

ㅤㅤSo why is it that you feel so fuzzy? So.. weak and exposed? You didn’t know. But you trusted her, so much, you placed your life at stake in her hands. And you liked it. You let yourself in her care countless times. This was another one of those times, however, it felt different.

ㅤㅤToo caught up in a chain of thought, you fail to notice the gardener slowly leaning and hovering on your left cheek. The girl showed no hesitation before bestowing a quick peck. It took a moment to process everything. Your body stiffened, and your visage contorted into one of shock.

ㅤㅤShe let go of your hand and began gathering her hand tools. As if nothing had happened. You gaze upon her with astonishment. How? Just how? You bore your eyes onto her, still struggling to find the correct words to speak. By the time you tried to say something, she was already finished.

ㅤㅤ"I do apologize, but I have to go now. I'll see you again tomorrow!" Emma flashed a sincere grin. She waved as she walked through the exit door, tools in hand. Just like that, the brunette vanished from the garden before you could even say a word.

ㅤㅤNext morning, you awoke with cheerful behavior. Despite having a match scheduled that day, you were incapable of wiping the uncharacteristically giddy grin that frivolously laid on your appearance. The recollection of yesterday lingered in your consciousness, prompting you the desire to visit the gardener right away. In an excited manner, you took hold of the knob and swung the door open.

ㅤㅤYour vision was met with gorgeous azure flowers — elegantly arranged and fastened together with a sage green tie. It sat patiently in front of the entrance to your quarters, beckoning you to accept.

Emma wants to be with you all hours of the day, craves it. She wants to never be alone again. If you want the same, then it’s nothing short of a match made in heaven, right?

(Bonus) Ithaqua is not #1 only because he doesn’t like if you get desperate about him having to leave for matches. Like, first of all, he doesn’t get a say and there’s nothing he can do. Second of all, he enjoys terrorizing the little survivors. This is his Me-Time. Any other time he adores having you wrapped around his finger—and a little separation pouting is endearing, but any more than that and he gets frustrated.

Eli is incredibly patient. He loves your company and doesn’t mind a shadow most of the time. But as he’s somewhat of a figurehead and confidant in the manor, he will sometimes need private time with other inhabitants. It’s for their privacy, you see, surely you understand. Otherwise, he doesn’t mind you sticking by his side!

Andrew won’t ever say it, but you liking his company so much sooths a lot of his soul-aches and worries. He does like some occasional quiet time, but otherwise he likes that you would choose time with him over time alone.

Antonio loves his darling’s company…but he also knows it’s important to give his friends some quality time too. (And he has a good amount of friends, despite fate’s intentions.) It’s only fair, right? Surely you can wait a bit. He’ll find you again later to share a bottle of wine.

Ganji similarly likes a good amount of time with his partner…but he’s also quite used to being alone and gets irritable when he doesn’t get any decompression time alone. Make sure he gets like five hours to do his own thing, and he’ll be alright the rest of the time.

Melly doesn’t know what to do with you most of the time. It’s not that she dislikes having you around, but rather she feels awkward. Is she…supposed to be doing something with you? Is she expected to entertain you? She’ll deal with this better after some reassurance and comfort, but otherwise struggles with subconscious expectations about her duties as a partner.

Emily can appreciate clinginess from a medical standpoint. You’ve got some abandonment wounds, yes? You’re afraid of being left behind. She will do her best to accommodate you, but unfortunately she has to work the infirmary most nights and you can’t just loiter in there. Respect her work hours and she’ll make it work the rest of the time.

Orpheus is busy with his own things a good chunk of the time, but as long as it’s not anything private he doesn’t mind sharing space with you. You can even sit on his lap while he’s busy writing…just don’t distract him with inane chatter. And when he says he’s busy, respect that.

Norton avoids you for your own good, alright? Don’t make this difficult. He’s not answering any questions about the hows and the whys, and begging will get you nowhere. When he’s able to have you around, rest assured he’ll be around. He wants to be around you. But whenever he leaves you be, it’s because you’re safer that way.

William Web Ellis

He was sad knowing that you are just lifeless, so he went out of his way to bother you 24/7 keeping you in check so you can feel better. Which it will take some time for you two to get along very well, you get used to him calling your name from afar.

He respects your personal space but will touch you by accident so you have to point it out, but when you manage to smile right in front of him. William feels really happy knowing that he made some progress with you.

You are the first target that he will protect before the others in matches.

Martha Behamfil

She was saddned by your solemn face and yet she give you space out of respect knowing that she is not the right person to talk to. But soon Martha finds herself going straight to you for supporting you and often escorts you to places that makes you feel comfortable.

Martha can understand that you can’t really smile, but feels a bit proud that if you smile once it gave her a bit of joy.

But sadly you will have to get used to her cocky self when she is emoting at hunters who can’t get her.

Tracy Reznick

Sadly she can’t understand how your past was, but will hang out with you just to help out for her puppet for matches. And yet she feels a bit tense to the awkward silence but will soon get’s used to it to the point that she talks for you when you can’t speak.

It won’t stop her from being there for you from time to time, all of a sudden you smile at her gentle gesture of hugs. Tracy was a blushing mess knowing that you actually look so pretty when you smile.

Andrew Kreiss

To his surprised he seems to be startled at first and tries to avoid contact with you for a while. But he is forced to team up with you from time to time….get used to his cold shoulder.

But after a few more rounds of matches when you need help, he was there to help you out something makes him want to hangout with you much more longer just to understand you. Even if the silence was very long that won’t stop him from talking to you on a daily basis.

When he tired to gift something to you one day, it actually made you smile even if its just a little bit. Andrew can’t stop staring and blushing.

Luca Balsa

Well it barely phases him, but he would try to be careful to not hurt you.

And yet he would try to find your excitement over his inventions but unfortunately it failed for who knows how many times. But that won’t stop him from making you feel something after hanging out with you from some more time.

Thankfully you were too kind to him to the point that he actually appreciates you for helping him out, which you smiled a little bit. He was shocked but hugs you knowing that it was a smile that he want to protect even if he forgot about that one day.

Emma Woods

She was heartbroken at the sight of your lifeless eyes, so it was the starting of her journey therefore you will have to get used to her bothering you non stop.

Of course it can get a bit annoying at times but there was some progress-nope not in the slightest to Emma, but at least she tried her best.

That aside you might find out that she was trying to make you smile even if its just once. But it did make her happy when you did try to smile for her, but she did find herself leaning into you even more for a different reason.

he vaguely remembers his mother baking a few times

it brings a smile to his face to see you being so passionate about something

one time, you noticed him staring, so you decided to invite him, admittedly, he enjoyed a lot more than he expected though he won't admit it unless you ask him directly

Naib's calloused hands handled the piping bag clumsily, smearing the icing messily. His eyebrows furrow in concentration as he draws the whiskers on the cookie. Soft giggles erupt from the baker as they trace patterns and designs perfectly onto the two layer cake they're working on.

prefers eating over baking tho ^^;

he's gotten used to you bringing him treats before his matches though the others claimed it was "unfair" so he started eating them discreetly

your baking reminds him of home

he eats a LOT. even though he doesn't have an affinity for sweets due to the lack of such delicacies in his life before meeting you

Naib reached out for his second tray of cookies, still munching on the cupcake in his left hand. 'Where does all that food go?' the baker pondered, bewildered by the amount of food the merc ate, he never seemed to gain weight, in fact, he only seemed to bulk up even more. The baker poked his hard abdomen, blinking owlishly with an "Oh". Naib quirked an eyebrow, "Wha' ish i'?" he questioned with a mouthful of food. The baker shook their head with an amused smile, "It's nothing darling, do you like the cookies?" they redirected, brushing his hair away from his face.

he always reads a story to you over tea time

Today, Kurt was telling you all about a realm where fairies, golems and many other creatures resided. The calming ambience of the garden picnic made it a perfect time to relax. Kurt would stop ever so often to take a bite of one of the pastries he held in one of his hands.

sometimes, some of the crumbs land on his book but he doesn't care because the food came from you :D

he surprisingly has some knowledge about baking, he can bake decently by himself

The baker peered over the explorer's shoulder, eyes trained on the mixture Kurt was working on. "Wow.. you actually know how to bake—Oh! no offence of course, it's just that all the other survivors that attempted to created monstrosities that bordered the lines of being rubbish" they chuckled, rubbing their nape. The explorer smiled, shaking his head, "I learned a bit about the craft while growing up" he replied, a somber expression appearing on his face as he stared down in the bowl.

he enjoys designing the cake with mini sketches

Emma sticks out her tongue slightly as she fills in the outline of a rose on the cookie. She grins proudly when she finishes the lovely looking rose, bestowing her creation before you on her outstretched hand. "Look darling! a rose for a lovely person like you!" she beamed. The baker giggled, their emotions showing through the rosy tint on their cheeks.

she hogs treats in matches she willingly takes hits just so she can taste them

after she messed up so many pastries, you stopped letting her bake

"Emma" the baker called out in a stern manner, the smile plastered on their face barely hiding the frustration and exasperation they were currently experiencing. "Would you mind explaining why my cookies and cupcakes are burnt?" they question, a threatening tone underlying their inquiry . The gardener backs away slightly, avoiding their piercing gaze. "U, Uhm, I may have baked them for a little too long—", "A little?" you interjected, your eyebrows twitching in irritation.

emma steals some of your treats for herself sometimes

emma has no favourites, she likes everything you make :D

The acrobat snags a few cookies in his hands, juggling them before you. "Hmm, what does this one taste like?~" he speaks with a lilt in his voice, almost teasing as he throws the cookie into his mouth. His eyes sparkle with delight, letting out a sound of recognition—"Dried blueberries! what a treat" he praises. The baker cups their mouth, unable to hold back the quiet giggles escaping their mouth. Mike always seemed to find a way to entertain you, one way or another.

he'll always mess around with you in the kitchen a little

flour fights!

A cheeky smile creeps up Mike's face as he gathers some of the flour on the table into his hand. "Dear, can you please hand me tha—eek! Mike!" the baker hollered as they were met with a fistful of flour. The white powder sinks into their locks and into their clothing. The baker's head is downcast as they scoop flour into their hands, "Two can play it that game!" they yell, throwing towards Mike.
