She gets introduced by one of the mcs friends, who is a handsome boy who's popular, as one of his friends who he sees as a rival in popularity and getting girls attention. And the mc thinks it's gonna be a handsome guy, and Kashima shows up and all the girls are falling over her and calling her prince and shes flirting with them, and the mc looks down and sees Kashima's wearing a skirt and is like '?!?' It's a joke moment. But like. Kashima is genuinely like that- she flirts with the girls, she's the prince of the school, and she plays the prince in all the drama club plays. I love her lots she's very princely and handsome

to add onto this, one of the convincing transmasc reading moments happens in chapter 42 of the manga (which i have unfortunately not read, but i checked it out for this occasion) where kashima loses their voice due to a cold and this happens

It's always funny when someone asks why Yuri manga will have clear tops and bottoms, and the expert Yuri posters explain that it's because some authors are too familiar with Yaoi. Because the real reason is Japan's gay women have a HUGE top/bottom culture, so much so that asking top or bottom in the first conversation is not seen as strange.
