Coriolanus figured out really quickly that he didn’t liked the cries of infants declaring it the most unpleasant sound he ever heard next to Grandma’ams attempts to be a songbird in his own childhood, while Lucy Gray is just happy that her little Janus is alive and well.

I’m playing with two very different parenting styles of Coryo and Lucy gray. While Coriolanus is good old capitol he wishes nothing more then his kids being the best they can be, be it future academic or in manners which means almost silent well behaved. His little own protégé, he justifies this with if people have nothing to gossip about, his family has one thing less to endure while he and his “district” wife come out victorious. Well at least in his point of view

Lucy Gray obviously wants them to actually have a childhood, she condones screaming, fighting, loud laughter and crying, everything that makes a human child out of them and not some of well trained silenced doll. Which sometimes or oftentimes leads to arguments between the two, lucky for Sejanus, Xanthos and Roselyn their mother is their primary caretaker ever since their father is working and Lucy Gray doesn’t want avoxes or nannys to be around them unless its necessary.

They both love their kids (Coryo in his own way) he just needs to show it more- 🥀

Most likely set after the finale where she keeps the Apex Armor and eventually ventures deeper and deeper into dark waters because of a haunting song that calls her and her kin.

Three, a crossover between Transformers and Pacific Rim. Is there a Unicron-Earth connection? Did Megatronus Prime fall on Earth? Most likely. But giant robots and giant aliens fighting makes me go BRRRRRRRR-

The thing is, Dream is still unable to kill humans, because of the rules, right? But death is too kind a fate anyway for those who would harm the King of Dreams or his closest companions, his family. And Dream can be. Creative. Like he says to Death, he is the far more terrible of the two of them. But if he wants, needs someone dead, there is always Hob, who is not bound by any rules. So having him at his side is the ultimate goal for ensuring his and the Dreaming's future safety.

Combine that with centuries worth of longing and lust and loneliness and you have a nearly feral Nightmare who most of the time barely manages to refrain from simply devouring Hob whole. Which is a thing that makes my mind go BRRRRRRRR It would be a bit like the nightmare Hob is having in my short fic Spiritstalker... maybe I could use these ideas to create something additional for that, mmmmh.

A scene plays out before you. A teenager that looks more or less like the Koopa King's human form sits on a lonely rooftop. Whatever is on his mind and has brought him up here is clearing weighing on him as he just looks down at his hands before back up at the sky. The stars don't shine as bright out in the big city, and in more ways then one, thankful a friend arrives, lifting the mood.

((OKAY I KNOW THIS WAS VERY VAUGE BUT THIS SCENE HAS SO MUCH MORE TO IT AND I FUCKING LOVE THIS AU SO MUCH!!! Calming down I call this the turning red Danny phantom clusterfuck au in my notes and it is so much fun. So to explain the name I need to bring up an unmentioned character, Benny, aka the King Boo Gjinka of this AU. He is where the Danny Phantom part of the name comes up because cursed artifacts go brrrrrrrr and he is a little shithead. As for where the Turning Red part comes from, well it's the man that this blog focuses around, or as I call him for the sake of keeping them separate, Beau.

Misukazu vampire au

Warnings: mentions of character death, some angst but we tryin not to think about it, fluff so sweet it may cause instantaneous diabetes

I feel like vampires who were turned a long time ago almost totally forget what they look like and really value pictures of them from when they were alive,,,, currently thinking of a vampires s/o gently caressing their cheek, looking into their eyes, and describing everything that makes them beautiful

^^had this big brain moment TM a little while ago and have devolved into many thoughts misukazu so let’s go:

Tbh either way this would be a hot take: like misumis family going full vampire for power instead of how they copy scripts and stuff. misumi tries to run but gets caught up in it before he can escape. Hakkaku didn’t like how they were gonna go full vampire so misumis parents killed him as a sacrifice for the ritual or something,,, it would be super traumatizing and why when people ask what happened to Hakkaku misumi can only say “he died”. Also explains his ability to see ghosts and recognize time loops, why madoka thinks he’s dead, and maybe part of why he’s so good at parkour. A lot easier to do flips and jumps all the time if you don’t have to worry about snapping ur neck-

Alternatively, kazunari got so sick of not having friends and working hard for no end goal that he decided to turn himself into a vampire to essentially -rip out his soul- and stop having to feel things. He then only forms shallow friendships because he’s lived so long he forgot how it feels to have someone truly care about you

I’m gonna go with misumi being a vampire though because I feel like it makes more sense and hehe triangle fangs go brrrrrrrr

Ok so because the ikaruga family barely sees misumi as a person, I feel like they’d try to use both him and hakkaku as sacrifices for their vampire ritual. They go to suck their blood and misumi barely survives (his family thinks they killed him and left), and tried to wake Hakkaku up only to realize he’s dead. After that he goes to mankai because it’s where hakkaku stayed a lot and was basically the only place he knew to go.

Kazunari either joined mankai (tbh I don’t really know what I’m gonna do with everyone else in this au) or heard rumors about paranormal activity in the abandoned dorms and decided to check it out. He goes in to see if he can get famous off of snapping a picture of whatever’s in there, and finds misumi. He tries to take a picture but can’t bc vampires don’t show up in pictures, so he’s hella confused until he connects the dots and gets freaked out. His freak-out dies down when he realizes misumis super skinny and not looking ok. Misumi was probably passed out from being malnourished but quickly wakes up when Kazu enters and is like shhsncjdhdvfbznsk LEAVE-

Literally any sane person would run out and never come back but after leaving the thought of misumi struggling all alone rlly bothered kazu and reminded him of how he was when he had no friends and shut everyone out, so he decides to try and leave some meat in the dorms for misumi. It’s like steak or something cut up into triangles because it’s whatever was on sale at the grocery store. Misumi comes out to snatch it before kazu leaves and is like 👁👁 bruh it’s triangular aND FOOD?? THAT I CAN GET NUTRITION FROM??? (Bc seeing hakkaku get the life drained out of him reallllyyyyy made him dislike sucking blood from anything especially humans.) And kazus like yeah dude u didn’t look ok so I thought u might like it and that’s how their friendship starts

-misumi taking kazu on midnight triangle hunts around the city. Also misumi finding triangles when kazus not around and giving them to him when he sees them. (Matching triangle necklaces/bracelets too)

-Kazu telling misumi that his fangs are triangular (he can’t see them in the mirror) and misumi just lights up because at least there’s one thing he can like about himself now

-kazu being s o bummed that he can’t take pictures of his beautiful boyfriend because he literally cannot show up on camera, decides to paint the best picture of misumi he can for him.

-kazu giving misumi a haircut and some of his old hoodies bc mans has no new clothes and can’t see what his hair looks like to cut it. Misumi having no clue what it looks like but trusting kazu, feeling it, and deciding it’s indeed triangular and amazing

-kazus always warm so misumi likes to lay on top of him/cuddle him a lot. Kazu loves this and whispers every reason he loves misumi to him during these moments.

-when they go into stores, if someone starts to get sus of misumi kazus immaculate at deflecting their attention and smoothing it over.

-eventually they’d talk about trauma too but I’m not here to be sad today so the angst is gonna have to wait for another time

Despite everything Sejanus was compared to his younger siblings a really energetic little bundle of joy much to the enjoyment of his mother. Whatever emotion he was experiencing it was 120% of it. His little laughs where contagious. His pouts where at best entertaining or at worst frustrating, and his temper tantrums made Coriolanus question his whole existence…not exactly sure if he got from him or his mother…the answer is BOTH. 🐍✨

Since Lucy Gray didn’t allowed nannies to handle situations on their own, it automatically also made it his problem as well. Babies are unpredictable and Coryo doesn’t like it.

While Janus was energetic Xanthos was quite almost deadly silent, which worried lucy gray a lot of times leading for her to check on him every hour, just to see if her little boy was still alive. Sometimes resulting if not leaving his side all together. Rosalyn on the other hand was just mostly casually sleeping her infant months away, and being a bubbly happy baby while being awake, the dream of every parent. Coriolanus definitely approved of that 🥀

It doesn’t matter the circumstances Coriolanus and Lucy Gray do sleep in the same bedroom, since the games shes been plagued by nightmares ever since which go to a variety of horrific scenarios and no matter how much she’s infuriated by her husband for different things she needs him to stay sane. Either way it’s her in the arena again, their kids or the covey themself being chased down and killed. Sometimes it surprises her that she finds comfort in the arms of the man who could put an end to the cause of said nightmares but refuses for obscured reasons all of the time, most including any kind of power.

But well She’s always had an affinity for snakes, hoping that he one day comes to his senses, one way or another

Sweet pleasant dreams from the little rose petal herself!

When Rosie is for once not sleeping in the middle of her parents bed, rolled in like a little breakfast burrito that owns the mattress they are sleeping on she’s normally surrounded by some of her many plushies. Her favorite snakes who she calls “sneks”, she got from the rebuild Zoo 🐍

Roselyn also can’t fall asleep without her mothers lullabies, her favorite being “deep in the meadow” whenever she sleeps in her parents bed Lucy Gray puts most certainly both her little baby and husband to sleep. The song still makes him drowsy with no mockingjays around to ruin the moment.

Bet Coriolanus buys Rosie as many plushies as her little heart desires, while being side eyed by his wife for showing ✨affection✨ which is unusual with the cold demeanor he puts on and isn’t followed by any correction. He likes to drop the mask around her, What can I say the little girl has him wrapped around her finger, if she wanted ice cream or a piece of cake at 3 am the only one who would put a end to this idea is mom herself because Coryo thinks thats a wonderful logical idea…she’ll get some in the morning tho.

Lucy gray tho actively teaches her daughter that even if her father gives her so much without thinking twice that she should always be grateful with what she already got. District lesson of the day which is followed by a sweet “ok momma”

Unlike his younger siblings Xanthos and Rosalyn, Sejanus has no need for any light source in his room during the night. He doesn’t like it if the moon or the capitol city lights are shining into his bedroom.

No plushies either, the only thing that keeps him company during the night is his feline companion Tiramisu. Yes the cat has no powerful „capitol name“ and is named after his favorite dessert after the suggestion from his mother. Little baby Janus wasn’t really good with names anyways, Coriolanus still finds it ridiculous beyond matter after gifting him the little kitten. Yes Dad got the cat.

Tiramisu has the habit of jumping on door handles to enter rooms or make loud noises around 4 am to get his attention only to be let in and sleep on the bed or boy in question
