I’ve wanted to make this for a while but as you can tell, I don’t draw much (see ever anymore) But here is a general overview of the layout of the Realm!

A few notes:

The well, archway, and saloon aren’t that close to the rest of the houses and can only be reached by traveling through the fog.

Camp Crystal Lake is also reachable by traversing the fog, traveling outwards from behind Michael’s house, although the camp isn't not physically in the Realm itself.

Although Max has a house, he prefers to live with Caleb at Dead Dawg Saloon.

Rin splits her time between her house and the Well.

The Fog dissipates around any object or structure inside it, leaving a clear area based on the general size of the object.

Only Slashers that were taken by the Entity have houses in the Realm. Non-Realm Slashers can come and go if they know how to use Doors or are brought in, but a house will not appear for them.

Pinhead does not have a house in the Realm, as he is fully bound to Hell and the Cenobite's god, Leviathan.

Nemesis doesn't have a house in the Realm, generally staying wherever Wesker is (he almost never actually uses his house in the Realm, preferring to stay in a hidden base elsewhere)

Neither Dredge nor the Demogorgon have houses. Both live in the fog and can navigate it without issues thanks to non-sight-based senses.

The archway can be used like any other structure and can be used to open a Door anywhere. Wesker built it to give himself (and Nemesis) another way in and out of the Realm so that he wouldn't have to use the Tree or travel directly into/out of his house.

the average person seems to see breaking a limb as less severe than choking someone, which i get because while breaking someone’s shit is going to have them in recovery/physical rehab for a while and have varyingly severe long term effects you can’t really kill someone by snapping their arm or ripping their mcl to shreds or whatever, barring extreme and weird circumstances. but the difference in reception to a knockout from striking vs from choking is interesting because it almost seems like people think knocking someone out with a punch is less brutal than choking someone, but youre rattling their shit (brain, somewhat delicate) around in their skull while ur trying to knock them out while a (properly applied blood) choke is a sure way to cut off blood flow to the brain

#which is not to say its a risk free submission method because it does inherently have a higher level of lethality #and accumulated choking can lead to increased risk of stroke #but i feel like among people who train choking is generally seen as a very controlled way to submit someone #this is not wholly about The Situation i was thinking about that drunk guy who picked a fight with some adcc enthusiast who went han on his #arm and the ensuing ‘break their shit’ vs ‘choke em out and leave’ debate #anyways i get that normal people do not like chokes and thats reasonable i just forget #since i spend like three times a week getting choked in a controlled environment #i am absolutely not a striker though i like my brain too much to accept the risk reward ratio
