The characters with beautiful helmets on the vinyl cover of the Dragon Age soundtrack obcess me !! Who are they ?
I also drew Flemeth, Fen’Harel and a character that appears in a trailer (next to the character with a pickaxe helmet)
Nine elven gods.
I have soooo many questions !!!!!
(My assumptions about their identities (from left to right) :
Andruil, Mythal, Dirthamen
Sylaise, Fen’harel, June
Ghilan’nain, Falon’Din, Elgar’nan)

Slow Arrow “The god Fen'Harel was asked by a village to kill a great beast. He came to the beast at dawn, and saw its strength, and knew it would slay him if he fought it. So instead, he shot an arrow up into the sky. The villagers asked Fen'Harel how he would save them, and he said to them, ‘When did I say that I would save you?’ And he left, and the great beast came into the village that night and killed the warriors, and the women, and the elders. It came to the children and opened its great maw, but then the arrow that Fen'Harel had loosed fell from the sky into the great beast’s mouth, and killed it. The children of the village wept for their parents and elders, but still they made an offering to Fen'Harel of thanks, for he had done what the villagers had asked. He had killed the beast, with his cunning, and a slow arrow that the beast never noticed.” The Masked Empire, pg. 73

“Solas would kill Lavellan” this and “solas would never kill her!!” that.
It doesn’t matter. He is fully intent on destroying her world so the question is: does he go back and save her in the end or does he let the world burn with her on it and feel sorry for himself while he does it?

I think one of the biggest reasons why Solas’ story is the one I’m so fixated on is because the entirety of dai is just one half of the arc, like how Haven is to the Inquisitor.
I saw a post a while ago and it haunts me still that said something along the lines that Solas in dai is experiencing what happens after the big boss fight and the game ends. When you want to redo the story or go through different decision paths you start a new game, make a new character, and do things differently. But you never see the long term consequences of that final major action.
Solas does however. He had his play through in which he made major world-rending decisions, and now he’s trying to start a New Game with the same save file.
How many times have you re-played a game and made the same choices? Different ones? How many times have you made a bad choice along the way and reloaded a save in order to do it differently? I personally have done it countless times. And the fact that we’re seeing a video game character do the same makes me go bonkers.
