While Flidais cannot have children of her own, there is a future where, with the aid of some Allagan technology, that can be changed. So I'd like you to meet the twin daughters of Flidais, Metrina, and G'raha! This is after they have grown up, leading happy childhoods.

Hayle Oakgrin is a Vieroe, she's more quiet and reserved, with a love of interior design and weaving. She got her passion for weaving from Metrina, and her love of fashion from watching Flidais. She was a very quiet child, preferring to sign like her Viera mother than speak aloud.

Mona Oakgrin is a Miq'roete, and she takes more after her father and Flidais. She has a deep passion for ancient tomes and adventuring to help others. She became an arcanist after a childhood with two Carbuncles in the house instilled a love of them.

It's taken me weeks, but I made it through all 1405 pages of your blog! I went through it backwards so it was strange to see how everything went from thirsty and chaotic to sweet and pure. I think my favorite concept was the Sawyers. I wonder about the Sawyers from different versions of the same hero, though. Like, do they consider all iterations of their parent as a parent? And how do the heroes feel if OG!Hero has a Sawyer but not them? Anyway, this blog is a blessing. Thank you.

re:sawyer i think feh did something similar somewhen but i totally forgot when.... there are heroes who consider multiple iterations of their parents as a parent and i think it would be sweet if sawyer did too :)

i think that if a hero felt left out of having a sawyer they should make out with the summoner about it.

legally zenoswol, even if all you can see of my wol is his ears... actually i think shayun might be a bit too tall in this but eh, i have him habitually wear heels so i can handwave it a few months back people were talking about wolship children and i created the hypothetical alchemy bby in the middle there to continue the running joke in shayun's life of "all of his children are at least five inches taller than him" this was also an excuse to give zenos dead anime mom hair, because i think i'm very funny

    Well... The dreaded day came true, after all. Pulled up Benchmark...to make a fankid. 😔 I knew the day could come around, but I was hoping I could survive longer. (Well, almost a whole 3 years is a good start, right?)

    For now, meet Sinmara! I won’t get into the details of how she’s a fankid (to who?) yet, as I have very much not talked about any of my ships...but I plan to fix that later today!

    In the meantime, may her appearance give some quiet hints. ;>

🎮 VIDEO GAME CONTROLLER — what are three of your oc's favorite hobbies?

I read a fic recently where the author gave Enver Gortash the skill / hobby of sketching / art. The fic was a fun read, but I don't think Enver would draw his own porn (intentionally / for the purpose of release / tantalization). However, I really like the idea that he has a surprisingly neat and steady hand for art because of all his invention schematics (I'd also appreciate if someone gave him chicken scratch for The Same Reason, but I'm won over to the art for now).

I bring this up because I've been playing my evil dark urge Meabh who I ship with Enver and so they're both on my mind. I haven't shared screenshots because early game evil durge is depressing / would require so many cw's. So I blocked out a bunch of dialogue of Meabh finding what they think will be one of Enver's diaries, but instead it's this book of projects, either personal or half finished, mostly equations and technical drawings but also including a bunch of toys and tools that have sexual purpose. Meabh doesn't find this out (yet) though because he takes it away to instead return to her, her own book of art, and that this is more gorey, but technically comparable, drawings of creatures that come from corpses which would have Balthazar salivating, of bodies and blood - but theirs would be the one that would have pages dedicated to sexual titillation, including pages that feature her lover - especially in ways she would never injure him. So there's that shared, but private hobby. He only looked in Meabh's book when he thought they had died.

I'm calling gymnastics another of Meabh's hobbies. Always fun when your rogue can contort real small or climb a building like an aerial dancer.

Their third hobby can be knife collecting.

🩹 ADHESIVE BANDAGE — does your oc have any physical and/or mental disabilities?

So I'm probably incapable of writing a character who doesn't have adhd and / or autism, so many many of my oc's and their partners will at least have one of these disorders. Which means I will not elaborate. If you suspect it, it's probably true. Sometimes it's intentional. Most times it is tbh.

My ffxiv wol Sawyer is mute. My ffxiv oc Sybille translates sign language for most of their communication with npc's who are less practised with the method of communication. Sybille also needs glasses for near-sightedness.

My fe3h oc Faedolyn has a congenital heart defect in au's to honor the canon of a magical heart transplant at birth. You can Just see scars for this in some art of them (it is Very Hard to notice because I didn't use black lines to outline it. It's just a pink / purple line on their chest): Here and Here. And it came up in my fic Just Go With It.

My dragon age oc, like many people's, Samaire Cadash is missing her left arm.

My bg3 oc's ... well there are some who have the durge condition. What are people calling that? OCD + C-PTSD? Orboloth is also missing his right eye (using a white eye to signify this).

My fe3h oc (one of Claude's sisters) Asmaa walks with a cane and was born with some spinal issue. My fe3h oc (Rodrigue's wife / Felix's mother) Eugénie is missing her right eye. My fe3h oc (Claude x Fae fankid) Simon was also born with a spinal issue and it affects his balance / how much weight he can lift but not much else of his life thus far, he also requires glasses for near-sightedness.

I have a nerve injury in my left foot and have been meaning to give someone the same, but I don't remember if I have? (Sometimes the pain is so bad I want an oc who's had their foot amputated entirely who uses a prosthetic).

Not going to list more glasses users but there's a bunch.

OC Name Ask Game

I have quite a few OCs beginning with E! From the boat boys there’s Elias Brennan the master and Erl Thorne the Lieutenant of Marines, and then there’s Ezra the ex-homestuck fankid who is An Overly Attached Yandere, and if we take last names into account there’s Liokki…… EXAFLARE the FFXIV OC who is a disaffected scientist with empathy problems who decided to become a rockstar

But lets talk about Ellis Hunter, one of the older OCs who I don’t do a lot with and might port into the SbS verse at some point, but the below is the general idea from the other settings I’ve thought of

Two supervillains- or wicked magicians dealing with blood, or mad scientists- fell in love, and being overly dramatic they decided to name their kids according to the edgiest theme they could think of

Their oldest son they named Elysian after the Elysian Fields. Their oldest daughter they called Asphodel, their youngest daughter Tartarus and their young baby they called Blest. And of course they named themselves Hades and Persephone, because why wouldn’t you.

But Elysian, Asphodel and Tartarus did not have a particularly stable childhood or life, so… it’s possible they killed their parents, or they ran away. And they renamed themselves, to Ellis, Ashe, Tara and Brian.

Ellis joins up with a shady organisation dealing with magic or something with a stark rainbow logo. He has a contentious relationship with his siblings who went in very different directions, but there’s a bond forged by, uh, parental murder or running away that you can’t quite ignore.

16. you can't understand why so many people like this thing (characterization, trope, headcanon, etc)

I’ve said it once I’ve said it a million times: fankids. I truly don’t understand wanting children beyond some vague notion of loving and raising a new life. Pregnancy visceraly disgusts me as well so when I browse by stuff like that with like ppl’s OCs and a canon character or a popular canon character ship I recoil. Idk. Theres more to life and relationships than that shit I don’t see why it has to be endgame for Everything.

20. part of canon you found tedious or boring

Wracking my brain to answer this one loll. I’m willing to grind for stuff in video games so much that my patience is finely honed. There’s definitely periods in FFXIV’s story where they make you talk to a character in one place and then walk or teleport somewhere else to talk to someone as what I can only describe as busywork. Like, you could just have one character deliver the dialogue or just have everyone in the same area.

21. part of canon you think is overhyped

Final Fantasy 16 wasn’t that good, kind of deserved to flop. The characterization of all the female characters except, like, Charon are a gaping hole in the narrative and some fights later in the game feel kind of muddled and unimpressive. I kinda just checked out towards the end even though I watched Vinny beat it. Dion was cool but they shouldve had him bareass fucking his pet hunk at least once. The soundtrack and the Eikon smackdowns live up tho.

To commemorate the fact that I finally defeated Garuda in the FFXIV/FFXV crossover event, here's a picture of Lana with Noctis that I took yesterday

Along with a picture of Lana in some new fit because I am weak to shiny objects so now I'm broke but it's okay it's worth it

(honestly, after the Garuda fight, I couldn't help but imagine how Hope and Josie would have reacted to meeting Noctis and helping him out on his quests.

I think Josie would have absolutely been down to help while Hope would have been like "why tf would I want to do that?" and then Josie would be like "Hope." It would be cute imagining their interaction with Noctis and I feel like Hope and Noctis would get along pretty quickly as they both have a lot on their plate or have this pressure of expectations pushed onto them.

Anyways, this is making me want to continue my Hosie/FFXV AU fic that I started and then stopped. Maybe I'll touch up on that fic, I know I have the next chapter started)

Azha headcanons

This is all @meepsthemiqo fault but I'm always happy to indulge!

She was found by Mehna after 6.0 when she was an infant. Her parents were killed by a boar in the Black Shroud and Mehna saved her. Alisaie wasn't sure about a raising a child but she felt her heart melt as the infant held her finger. I wrote a story about it. I'll reblog it.

She does have the Echo but it isn't as strong as Mehna's.

She has no talent for magic or archery like her mothers but she decides to learn how to be a Monk like her aunts, Lyse and Inako.

She is spoiled to death by her parents, the Scions and Mehna's adventurer friends.

She is about as reckless and sassy as Alisaie is which means Mehna has to deal with two sass masters.

While she is brash and reckless, she also loves to learn from Urianger, Y'Shtola and Alphinaud. She's quite intelligent at a young age.

She loves to hear stories of her mother's adventures.

While she doesn't have a talent for archery, she does have a wonderful singing voice and she is a talented dancer.
