“My love is as pretty as a diamond and twice as eternal. Even if you get sick of me, I'll always love you. I mean it...always and forever.”
“You're my greatest treasure of all, and you smell the nicest. Hope you're ready to be really happy. From now on, I'm keeping you all to myself.”
Something I've wanted to draw for the longest time - my Fire Emblem Fates OT3! Corrin has 2 hands and they're holding two very fluffy furry boys c: Hopefully I can draw more of them in the future.

Hi, this is your ticket to infodump about isat/fe aus.
whehe. wheh. wawawawa. (i start vibrating)
i dont know how much i've posted abt my thoughts vs how much i just monologued to various people on discord (hello and thank you to pix, alice, and lozy (i think i also monologued to riu once? hi riu)) but you can find all (most?) of the stuff tagged under "isat emblem" on my art blog
ANYWAY. SO. I'M NOW TALKING ABOUT THE UHH. fourth. isat/fe crossover i have, which is the "what if isat ran on FE lore" one, instead of any roleswap or isekai shenanigans.
i'm looking you straight in the eye. look at me. listen to me. the forgotten island is Valla. It's literally just Valla.
FULL GAME SPOILERSSSS riu don't look at this.
ok. listen
you cannot say its name. if you say its name, you fucking die
people from valla cannot share that they are from valla, making them simply foreigners from "somewhere else"
the disappearance of valla seems to be recent, yet nobody besides people from it have any memories of it
it still physically exists, but is generally impossible to access
associated with water-based enemies that attack anybody yet also represent the regrets of its people
IT'S JUST VALLA, YALL
THE VALLA ZOMBIES ARE IF SADNESSES WERE ACTUALLY DEAD PEOPLE.
so. you may have already seen my Manakete Siffrin, but it is needless to say, i took a FUCKTON of cues from corrin for this. this entire AU is generally very fates adjacent. with some engage in it, for flavor.
Manakete Siffrin is so tasty. Please also look at Pix's dragon sif AU because this is VERY MUCH the exact same flavor because me and Pix were just on the same brainwave i guess.
In this Au, Siffrin is a dragon (silent dragon or divine dragon, either works). And the dragons lived on the island, but the island disappeared. Because dragons were so deeply associated with this place, knowledge of dragons disappeared, as well, outside of perhaps the occasional myth. (Imagine Sif being told "Dragons aren't real, silly!" man.)
Siffrin is a dragon, and fucking forgot about it. All they know is that they are Different. But not how. Or why. Imagine.
Imagine, as the loops progress, Siffrin grows stronger not through training, but through learning how strong they already were. That there are claws beneath the gloves, that they can see in the dark, that if they focus just right, they can breathe fire.
Imagine, for me, Siffrin learning they are not human. They are Other. They are a Myth. And how this plays perfectly into Siffrin's increased alianation from the party, and Siffrin's growing belief that they are a monster, and that if this is ever discovered, his friends will leave him.
If you want to bring my wolfskin Isabeau into this. I already mentioned it briefly but. Isabeau is also not human but he is In Control of it. He makes it palatable. People know what beastfolk are, they're documented in Vaugarde, I'd imagine that there's one or two frozen around the House. They are a Known Quantity. Even compared to the nonhuman, Siffrin is Other, is a Beast, and he can feel his control slipping. Compared to Isabeau, he is a feral animal. (Or, at least, they believe they are.)
Augrh. Okay.
Also. Lizard Loop. Ok.
UM. SO. I mentioned Engage, so. EMBLEMS!! This Au actually has Emblems in it. See, on the island where the dragons lived, the Emblems lived as well. And people prayed to the Emblems, to the heroes from the countless stars, to the heroes sent by the universe to guide them. Only the dragons could summon Emblems, but they could grant favor to anyone. And if all Emblems came together, they could rewrite the Universe itself.
The Emblems knew this.
And thus, when the Emblems came togehter, they wished to be forgotten. The place where they dwelled, and the people that worshipped them... were casualties of an ill-fated wish, to seal away this catastrophic power.
Yup, I made Wish Craft emblem flavored!! Because man. It's literally "prayer incantation". Divine Dragons draw power from Emblems through Prayer, through belief, and Fell Dragons draw power from Emblems through Incantation, through ritual. And the most powerful of all is combining the two. IT'S WISH CRAFT RULES, YALL.
So so, the concept of Emblems also got forgotten, but the main wish just erased the Emblems as people. That's why Sif and Co could find out about Emblems as the story progresses, same way in canon they can find out about Wish Craft.
Because I love suffering, I'd say. Instead of a Silver Coin, Siffrin has a silver ring, instead. It's just a plain band that's been around their finger for forever. It's not special at all.
....or is it?
...sometimes, Siffrin manages to rememeber a friend. Only for brief moments. When Siffrin does Mirabelle's hair, he wonders how he knows to work with kinky hair. When they eat the fish head, they reminisce that someone else liked it..... and then they forget again.
In this AU, that friend was an Emblem. That was Siffrin's Marth. But they're gone. That ring is empty.
....or is it?
hihi.
About Loop.
I think this was Lozy's suggestion, but. Loop is an Emblem. Loop wasnt always an Emblem, but Engage shows how people can become Emblems, yeah. So, Loop is a spirit from another world, sent by the Universe to guide this one. Loop is bound to their own ring, though neither of them realize. When an Emblem is asked for power through incantation, they cannot refuse. Siffrin's wish causes the timeloop by calling upon the power of the dormant Emblem they carry, which is Loop.
(How did Loop cause their own loops? Well, it was still an Emblem, even before Loop was in it. Who was it? Well, I don't know, and that's the pain, isn't it?)
Also I think it'd be really cool if Big Sif isn't just, Sif fully transforms into a dragon (which is already cool as hell) but also like. Siffrin manages to Engage with their Emblem. And after that, the Emblem is well and truly gone, for good. It just said goodbye for the last time.
And ofc Act 6 when Loop disappears, Siffrin picks up the ring that houses them in the hopes Loop will awaken one day. Yeah.
UM. CHARACTERS BESIDES SIFFRIN!!
I've mentioned this in my FE6/ISAT parallels posting but Mirabelle is so lord-coded. Specifically the Roy-flavor of "just some guy" lord. She wasn't chosen for this she just happened to be here. SHE EVEN HAS A RAPIER!!! AND AN UNAVAILABLE MENTOR!!!
Listen to me she's so so so Roy-coded MIRABELLE IS A FIRE EMBLEM LORD.
Ok. Ok.
I think it'd be really funny if Odile was just straight up from Hoshido. It would work. I don't want to change Vaugarde to a FE country because the culture is just too unique for any straight equivalent, but the other countries with less detail work. (Puts Odile in Onmyoji because she's a magic class 100%)
Bonnie's class is actually Transporter. Lozy suggested "Aptitude Villager" but i feel we need to keep the spirit of "Do not Attack The Child". So Bonnie is the Elibe-exclusive Cannot Die Items Holder class. It even works with Bonnie's potshots that Merlinus (the only transporter in the whole entire FE series) gets daggers in Heroes, which is the debuff support weapon.
Bonnie chucking holy water from the back of a horse. Thank u. That is all.
Um yeah. So that's all (most?) of the FE-flavored ISAT thoughts I have. yeah. Um.
Thank u very much for asking this. I love talking.

*walks on by with leaves in my hair and looking like Wild after a bad tumble through his Hyrule and into a couple of bushes and then had a fight with a rabid and feral swan, offers you tea and cookies, leaves without elaborating* Hey there, OG Lustrous Anon here, just passing by to wish you a nice day, plus drop of a few things ^^
I've just gone through the masterlist again, and once again thank you for all your work in the fandom, be aware I'll be attacking you with praise and compliments next time I come by because I need to stop smiling like an idiot first to properly articulate my thoughts through the severe sleep deprivation and what I love about every single one, so my apologies in advance once that happens, I'll probably be splitting the things in this ask in two or three others as a result until I get to that when I'm less sleep deprived, but once again, thank you!
A new Reader Variant came to my mind, we already had Fire Emblem Wolfskin Reader, so why not Manakete Reader or Manakete Vessel Reader?
Manaketes are basically a race of dragons that can use magic and can turn human, but as they went more and more mad because of a sickness called Degeneration they started sealing their dragon forms in magical gemstones, they can go from human to dragon form at will with them and use magic and even have half their dragon features out like wings, tail, claws, horns etc if they want, but without them if they shift they're basically uncontrollable beasts (although they can be calmed down by seeing people they care for, or through the use of specific songs). There's several types of Manaketes but the main type left is the Divine Manakete because the others were largely killed, which some of the greatest dragon deities on the series are, would be interesting to see how the Chain would react to basically having a dragon shifter as a traveling companion, they probably don't clock that they're not Hylian at first because Manakete have pointed ears and the slitted eyes can probably be excused by magic, but I think Twilight and Manakete Reader would immediately clock one another as shapeshifters because they both have magical gemstone necklaces (Reader keeping theirs there in case of emergencies, Manaketes are usually hunted, enslaved and or killed a lot of time, so I think Manakete Reader would be very careful keeping their identity hidden, but they'd have the stone as close as possible so they can shift and either defend themselves or fly away in a pinch, I can also see them either using fire magic or having at least a dagger or two on them), although if Reader is a Divine Manakete then the energies probably feel equal and opposite like how magnets attract and repel each other, I can see them being absolutely fascinated by one another as a result, maybe Reader tries to teach Twilight how to painlessly transform or how to half transform like they do (maybe manifesting claws and teeth when the Chain is in danger), they bond over their secret and cover for one another for Links not in the know ("Four: Uh, so I think I just saw an entire dragon go the same direction Manakete Reader went, should we worry? They can hold their own but they might need help. Twilight, with a perfectly straight face and lying through his teeth even with Time and Wild both squinting at him: Don't worry about it. It's their pet, don't ask me how they tamed an entire dragon I have no idea how either." , bonus points if Reader also is a Wyvern Rider and does, infact, have a dragon pet to further corroborate the fact they're an animal tamer, "Wind: Twilight's gone? But it's his watch shift now! Should we go look for him? Manakete Reader, perfectly nonchalant as they shake Wolfie who is drapped on their lap and dozing off awake: No worries, I'll go get him with Wolfie."), I just see a great potential for bonding and shenanigans in general, I can also see maybe the Fierce Deity catching on and thinking it's amusing and just not telling Time he has a dragon to the found family roster now, that or Time or Wild walk in on them when they're alone from the group and instead of maybe finding them doing something not exactly platonic it's just Manakete Reader with their horns out, teaching Twilight how to manifest the claws but instead he manifests the ears so they're teasing him about it and they both just freeze, that or, for more comedic purposes, Manakete Reader thinking neither Wild nor Time know just deadpanning like "Yes we were indeed making out, nothing suspicious to see here we'll get back to the others now. Don't ask further questions, that is indeed EXACTLY what happened." And Twilight just dying in the back, I think it would be amusing.
Or Vessel Reader, see, some Dragons/Manaketes in the Fire Emblem verse are lauded as deities due to being much stronger than others, and through some specific circumstances can take on vessels which they'll share bodies with, some of the main examples about this being Grima, essentially a successful version of Demise that's an artificial Divine Dragon before he was killed by his own vessel or slightly slowed down by having the 'chosen' of their era seal them with a magic sword made from the fangs of the female Divine Dragon they essentially put in a coma (this man succeeded in taking over and destroying every opposition against him in every single timeline he was in AND he had an actually competent kingdom backing him that was basically like his own Yiga Clan before he was stopped by his own vessel traveling back in time, rebelling and killing him, this man is what Dink WISHES he was) and nowadays Sothis, essentially a Divine Dragon that controlled all facets of time itself, even death couldn't slow her down as she found a vessel who unlocked the full range of her power by getting a magic sword-whip made from her own blinking spine and said vessel avenged her and her people's death, I think it would be interesting if the Chain basically ran into someone who's basically Byleth Eisner/The Ashen Demon aka Sothis' Vessel, or someone who's Grima's Vessel. Maybe Vessel Reader was transported to Hyrule because the Dink situation was getting out of hand and, since Hylia clearly wasn't doing much, Farore decided to enlist the much more proactive version of a time deity to aid the Chain in Sothis, could be a bit of a comedy of errors because Sothis would be absolutely down for hunting down Dink and infected monsters and Vessel Reader would likely agree as he reminds them of the people who tried murdering them twice over and because they can't allow more people to get hurt, and before the Chain fully gets there after hearing reports of infected monsters they just find the equivalent of a slaughter, torn apart Lynels mid fading, Guardians ripped apart and seemingly melted down via sword slashes, Yiga slashed and burned and downright beheaded and lizalfos parts left behind, and all any survivor Yiga can say is ramble about a "warrior too fast to see", "A Green Eyed Beast", "a demon in human flesh" and it kind of comes to the misunderstanding that there's something else after them or another Link with maybe the FD mask running rampant when actually Vessel Reader is hunting DINK because it's the quickest way to shut the gremlin that is Sothis up and because he may be a lead back home. Like the Chain is wary but Dink is the one hearing boss music.
I'll elaborate this on another ask, this is likely getting long and I'll be typing Lustrous Reader crumbs in another ask already if you don't mind hearing, anyway, thank you once again for all your work in the fandom and until the next one!
-Signed, Just an Anon on A Stroll.
P.S: Has anyone claimed the shell? To make it more identifiable and easier on you, I'd like to add it to my signature if no one has laid a claim on it, or the clover if someone has, 🐚.
No one has the conch! Feel free to take it :D
Oh boy! The first half takes Dragon AU to a whole new level!
A dragon reader where they have to hide it XD
A lot of shapeshifters get paired up with Twilight, I don't blame them. It's incredibly easy to make that connection. I do think that there would be a lot to talk about between the two in that sense. I think that Twilight would try to convince them to keep either keep it as secret as possible or convince them to let one or two more people know just so it would be easier to cover for them- because (and Twilight would admit this) he sucks at lying.
The vessel thing is also interesting. I don't know much about Fire Emblem in that regard (meaning I knew it once but it's been awhile). But I think that would also be a really intriguing dynamic to introduce to the group. I'm just not entirely sure how to execute that at the moment. ^.^*
I'd to think about it more.

Name 5 characters from the series that would be great vampires and 5 others that would be great werewolves
Well first, you should know there two characters who just ARE werewolves (though they are called wolfskin) so I will not be counting them. Their nam.es are Keaton and Velouria. Also I will only be using characters from Fates and Awakening because thats what I've played. Now..

Eternal Nocturne (Keaton/Azura - Fire Emblem: Fates)
(( HAPPY BDAY TO @garmmy 🥳🎉🎈🎁🎂 ))
Nighttime swept over the camp. A handful of torches loomed aflame while even fewer guards patrolled the perimeter. Everyone else was asleep, as expected. Then there was Keaton, wide awake.
Since arriving in Hoshidan territory, foreign scents and sounds ruptured through him. His ears twitched as he tossed and turned in his bedroll. Part of him longed to venture out and investigate the nocturnal critters causing such a racket. Why is everything in Hoshido so noisy?! But there was more to it than that.
A full moon hung in the starry sky. His fur bristled a few days ago in anticipation. In the past, Keaton spent the entire night prowling the mountains, just to burn off the excess energy until sunrise. Both nations wove their stories about crazed wolfskin during full moons. He grimaced and whined at those recollections. What a load of crap. Just nonsense used to scare children at bedtime. The truth was the full moons heightened his already keen senses. Who wouldn’t get a bit irritated from the sensory overload?

I miss having Taguels in Fire Emblem, as well as the other shifters (Kitsune, Wolfskin, etc). So I made my own for Three Houses!
Zenzi is a Bear Taguel, originally from Albinea, but was brought to Fódlan as a child by black market traders. Her last name has been lost to time, but eventually she made her way to Abyss, where she was found and taken in by the Ashen Wolves.
I have been working on how a Taguel-like class in FE3H would work, and I have some ideas. There is even an evolved class at the Advanced Rank, like Wolfskin and Kitsune!

Clash of FE Classes Opening Round - Match 8
Tumblr media
(pictured: a Dancer icon from Thracia 776, a Thief icon from Shadow Dragon, and a generic Wolfskin's portrait from Fates, on a GBAFE arena background)
introductions to the classes, other closely associated classes, and explanations under the cut
Dancers are the most typical incarnation of a very distinct type of support unit, which can also manifest in such ways as the Bard, the Heron Tribe Laguz, or the Songstress. the common thread there, besides musical performance, is that these classes have the often unique ability to grant their allies an additional move per turn. this is an incredibly powerful ability that invariably cements these characters' worth as units, even if they generally can't hold their own in combat (and many can't defend themselves at all, in fact). Dancers have exclusively been female for much of the series -- although male characters have figured in the other variants of the class -- until Three Houses made it possible to reclass male characters into Dancer, and Engage subsequently introduced the series's first canonical male Dancer.
Thieves are the series's premier utility-oriented staple class. usually armed with swords, sometimes settling for daggers instead, characters of this class have on occasion proven to have combat mettle -- especially the ones who can promote into classes like Assassin or Rogue -- but fighting isn't really their raison d'etre. they're more at home breaking away from the struggle to crack open the locked doors of the world and loot treasure chests. they're also frequently given additional utilities as well, such as stealing items off enemies' inventories and seeing farther ahead in Fog of War. enemy thieves are a well-known nuisance, what with their penchant to race the player to points of interest; left alone, they will carry treasure away and destroy villages. dealing with them is usually worth it not just for securing the bounty, though, but also for the great amounts of EXP that defeating them is worth. other closely associated classes include the Whisper from Radiant Dawn; the Trickster from Awakening and Three Houses; and the Ninja, Master Ninja, Outlaw and Adventurer from Fates.
the Laguz from Path of Radiance and Radiant Dawn -- Cat Tribe, Tiger Tribe, Lion Tribe, Wolf Tribe, Hawk Tribe and Raven Tribe alike -- started out as unique additions to the specific Tellius setting, and had (or, more often, were held back by) a unique Transformation Gauge mechanic that set them apart from the dragon-shifters of the series's past. since then, in Tellius's wake, other titles have played with Beast-shifter classes, albeit usually in a vein more reminiscent of the Manaketes; thusly, the Taguel hare-people from Awakening, the Nine-Tails and Kitsune fox-people from Fates, and the Wolfskin and Wolfssegner wolf-people from the other side of Fates. the definition could also easily extend to cover many of the monstrosities in the series which use natural weapons, such as the Bael and Elder Bael giant spiders of Sacred Stones, the fist-fighting Faceless and Stoneborn of Fates, or a majority of the giant beasts from Three Houses. Fire Emblem Heroes took until its third year of runtime to introduce these beast-type units into their system, but since then, the game's roster of original characters has definitely come to contain a colorful menagerie as well.

I’m going to post a few of my fire emblem: fates edits :)
Tumblr media
Sherry - Wyvern Rider
Basically the main character of my little pre fates story and a half-wolfskin (although she didn’t get any of the wolfskin features other than sharper canines) and was kidnapped by Nohrian mages when she was younger for magical experiments on her half-wolfskin blood. Has an extreme phobia of magic, yet is incredibly skilled at it, having a very high magic growth.
Tumblr media
Chenille - Wolfskin
Sherry’s mother and a wolfskin who has been searching for Sherry for ages after she was kidnapped. Calm and collected, but actually quite absent-minded and maybe even a little airheaded at times.
Tumblr media
Drako - Dark Mage
The Son of Iago, and the one who freed Sherry from the clutches of a sect of Nohrian mages when they were both younger. Sherry’s best friend and brother figure, they stick together always.
Tumblr media
Colette - Troubadour
Sherry’s younger half-sister with the same father and different mother, a noble girl who has been coddled and doesn’t know much about the world. Spoiled and extremely talkative, it’s difficult to get her to leave you alone after you’ve already struck up a conversation with her.
Tumblr media
Dia (Dorothy) - Witch
A cheerful and enigmatic dark mage from a far away land. She’s actually the daughter of Henry (From Awakening) and came along with the other three, being sent to Nohr by Anankos.
