Her dark green guitar sat in its case as she carried it down the streets of London, eyes flicking in-between her phone and the cobblestones below her. She was trying not to trip over her feet as she walked faster than her feet would usually allow her. It was cold in London, but the sun was cutting through the clouds, soft rays hitting the ground below her, illuminating the dark stone floor. Crisp leaves of orange and brown and yellow, gently glided beneath her as her feet moved. When her shoes would fall against them they'd make a delightful crunch and she'd unknowingly smile at the sound.

Her phone rings in her hand, she smiles as she reads the name Matty put in her phone, rolling her eyes and reminding herself to change it (if not just to annoy him) she quickly picks up.

"Everything okay love?" She hears on the other side of the line, he sounds worried and she pulls the phone away from her ear, checking the time.

Shit, she was 15 minutes late.

Her happy bubble that this time of year created burst around her and pressure and anxiety crept in.

"Yeah yeah, um all good....I'm so sorry, I'm running late, I thought I'd walk instead of getting an Uber but... I'm a bit lost" she says, looking around her, trying to find something that would tell her where she was.

"Hey love it's okay. Just breathe okay? Send me your location, I'll come find you" he says. He finds her just over 5 minutes later, and she feels her nerves ease when she sees him.

He's dressed the most casually she's seen him so far, adorning a pair of black jeans and a black knit jumper, his hair not tamed by gel and sitting unruly on the top of his head. Of course he has a fag in hand, smiling as he walks towards her, he throws the cigarette to the floor a few steps away from her, opening his arms when he's closer.

She places her guitar case down and steps into his arms, sighing happily when he hugs her tightly. Her eyes squeeze shut, just wanting to be present with him, to be swept away in Matty, shutting the world out for a few moments.

"Hi sweetheart" he says, pulling back when he's done hugging her, still holding onto her shoulders gently. She wears a pair of blue wide leg denim jeans and she's wearing his hoodie under a long leather coat, which makes him smile widely. His mind floods with images of her, in his house, adorning that same hoodie or one similar, in his mind he's able to step forward and pick her up, her legs would hook around his waist as he spun her, she'd giggle and she'd pull away, and maybe... maybe she'd lean down and kiss him.

He forces the thought to the back of his mind, reminding himself that he couldn't think that way. It doesn't stop him from saying part of what was on his mind.

"Well don't you look adorable" he says making her smile. She looks down at the jumper, hands moving to tug at the hem of it.

"I figured wearing it was easier than carrying it" she explains and he nods. He watches as her eyes flick to his hair and she shows a toothy grin.

"I like this" she reaches her hand up to his hair, palm flat as she moves it across his hair, making him chuckle. She was surprised to feel how soft his hair was. He simply smiles, he doesn't thank her, his smile says it for him.

"Studio is this way, the guys will be joining us a little later" he says and she nods, he picks up the case for her, leading the way to the studio. The trip there isn't too far, a few twists and turns away and they're walking up the steps of the studio. Matty types in the code, allowing them into the building and he leads her upstairs into their own private room.

"I can take your coat if you'd like, it gets quite warm in here" Matty extends his hand, hoping she'd give it to him so he could see her clad in his jumper again. He can't help but smile widely as she slips it off and hands it to him, quickly retrieving her phone from the pocket before he takes it away.

He's in awe of her as she walks around the room, mumbling the name of the items, even the makes of some, standing before the microphone and gasping. He's entranced by the way he hair drifts behind her, as if it is failing to catch up with her movements. He finds the way her face holds a cute little smile endearing. He looks at her and he feels like he's known her for a lifetime.

"This is some fancy shit" he laughs at her words, coming to stand closer to her, overwhelmed by the way her scent occupies all of him, all his senses and the deep corners of his mind, she creeps in with it, seeping into his pores without an ounce of knowing... Unaware that she's doing it. But by god does she do it. She takes up all of him, and the guilt that befalls his being is too much of a burden to carry, so he pushes it down slightly (a lot), with the argument that he will deal with it later. The thought of how Ross would feel about this can be dealt with later. He knew his best friend and it was obvious he fancied her.

Did that make him a bad friend? He thinks, later he thinks.

"We only work with the best of the best here... Present company included" her eyes find his and almost glisten under the lights, taking his breath away. His eyes flick to her lips... No Matty.... Don't he thinks.

"Careful Matty.... I might think you're flirting with me" she wishes she would think before she thinks, they were the same that way. They acted on impulse sometimes.

I am, he thinks

There's a moment of silence from the man, a moment where she thinks she's nearly fucked it, but then he's laughing and she's smiling and everything returns to normal.

"Seriously though Matty, this stuff is impressive" she says, walking over to a piano that was positioned in the corner of the room.

"You play?" So far he had only seen her play guitar and he wouldn't have been surprised if she was multi versed.

"I do yeah... My big brother taught me when I was like..." She pauses, fingers drifting along the keys but not pressing down, eyes flicking up to Matty who was standing directly in front of the piano now.

"Four?" She questions, sitting down on the stool as her fingers finally press down on the keys and she plays a familiar tune. He chuckles and rolls his eyes as she begins playing 'The 1975' off of their recent album. She laughs and her fingers halt on the keys.

"Kidding kidding..." She then begins playing another familiar song, another one of theirs, "Mine". He watches her as her fingers move effortlessly across the ivories, gently caressing the keys as if they'd break if she'd apply more pressure. It somehow made the sound ring out more peacefully, a song that he wrote and already thought was quite sweet sounded sweeter when played by her.

Her eyes find his and she pauses, smiling a shy smile up at him, tucking a piece of hair that had slipped in front of her eyes behind her ear.

"Do you know my entire discography off by heart darling?" He says, voice full of awe and wonder. Eyes just the same. The pet name has her blushing and her mouth opens slightly before she forces herself to shut it again and answer his question.

"Maybe..." She says, giggling after her words have rung out, making him smile widely, a small crease appearing at the side of his lips on his cheeks, and his eyes almost sparkling.

"Sing me one of yours..." He leans against the edge of the piano, placing an elbow on the surface as his head fits into the palm of his hand, eagerly awaiting for her to play something. He looks like a kid like this, the sight makes her heart ache, she wish she knew him when he was younger, despite it being impossible given the age gap. She couldn't help but think they would've gotten along even as kids.

"Okay well... This is something I wrote with Jay, our drummer" she reminds him, Matty nods. The truth is, although he was sometimes forgetful,he wouldn't forget a single thing she told him, he couldn't, she had captivated him.

"Do you write with him a lot?" Matty asks out of curiosity.

"Not really... I mostly write on my own... Sometimes Clara and Abbie will help me with a verse or two. I prefer writing alone" she explains and Matty can't help but let out a little "oh" at the revelation.

"Why's that?"

"Less scrutiny I guess... It took me a lot to get to the point where I don't scrumple up the pages and throw them away... My lyrics make me cringe sometimes" Matty laughs as she does, not able to help the sound that comes from him, not when when she's laughing. Then he realises she's deflecting again and he frowns.

"Okay show me" he says and she begins playing a song. It's a simple melodic structure, quite bare and vulnerable. But he feels it doesn't need much else apart from that, not when she closes her eyes and begins to sing. Matty hears the door open and swings his head around to see Ross.

He's early.

He places a finger against his lips and ushers him inside. The tall man tries his hardest to walk quietly, flinching when a floorboard creaks. But y/n is too engrossed in her song to hear.

"I was a child of the night, Praying for a guiding light, Living in a world of black and white , I wish for the day that I might, Be set free and allowed to take flight" she sings, her voice is almost ethereal as she sings, it's almost as if she transcends to something more when she sings and they're more enthralled by it.

"The sky is turning grey, The stars begin to fade away, On the wings of yesterday, We are all condemned to fate, There's no hiding place in your grave" she finishes, fingers halting on the keys and eyes slowly fluttering back open. She almost swears when she sees Ross standing next to Matty.

"Wow" they both say in unison and she blushes deeply.

"Hi to you too" her words are directed at Ross and he smiles down at her. Her heart is picking up at the sight of him, and there it is again, Ross, taking over her entire being. Her eyes fall to those hands and she struggles to tear them away.

"That was amazing, really beautiful" his words have her blushing deeper and she looks away, feeling exposed under the both of their stares.

"Thanks" she says awkwardly, standing from the piano, walking towards the man.

"Hi" he says, looking down at her and placing his arms around her shoulders for a quick hug. They pull away far too quickly for either of their liking, but what with Matty staring at them, it had to be done.

"So what did you think Matty?" She ask, turning back to the curly haired man who still stands, mouth agape.

"I don't think it's going to get better than that... I think just the piano and your vocals is all that track needs" he says, his producer brain taking over and making her laugh.

"It was beautiful y/n" he then says, making her smile.

Her phone rings from where it's tucked away into Matty's jumper. Ross' attention is then drawn to the fabric, unable to help the unsettling jealousy that runs through his body.

"Hi Ab" he hears her say.

His eyes flick back to Matty, who takes in his best friend's look and frowns, mouthing a (maybe feigned) innocent "what?" to the man.

Ross simply shakes his head, looking back to Y/n who is talking on the phone.

"Oh really?" Her eyes flick to the guys and she pulls the phone from her ear "apparently Abbie, Clara and Jay ran into George at some coffee place, they're round the corner" she explains the both of them nod.

"Okay... Perfect... See you in 5. Love you bye" she says, hanging up after that.

"I'll go down to let them in, need a fag anyway" Matty explains, leaving the bassist and y/n alone. She walks over to her guitar case, unzipping it and carrying it over to a leather sofa in the studio, placing it in her lap.

Ross is still standing in the centre of the room and she can't quite sense how he's feeling, but his eyes are trained on her. She taps the space next to her, smiling up at him. He comes to join her then, watching as she tunes the guitar easily.

"Pretty guitar" he says.

"Thanks... My brother brought it for my birthday about 6 years ago" she explains "I had a light blue one before that... Still have it actually, just prefer this one... Feels more special to me"

"Seems like you're brother is quite the musician himself then" Ross says making her smile.

"Practically taught me everything I know... Apart form bass... As I said before... couldn't hack it" she says, strumming the strings to make sure it was in tune.

"I remember... Tiny hands" he says making her laugh again, his hand brushing against hers but not holding it. He couldn't.

"Is he good? Your brother?" He asks.

"Why? Scared he's better than you Macdonald" she teases. She doesn't feel a pang in her chest when she speaks about him, not like she used to.

"Never" she laughs at that, tilting her head back. He swears his heart skips a beat at the sight, her hair wafting against her shoulders and sending a wave of her scent his way. She smelt like vanilla and orange blossom and coffee and white flowers and fresh linen and something he couldn't pinpoint. Something he had never smelt before, something so uniquely her and he was addicted.

"Yeah he's great, taught me how to play piano and guitar... god awful voice though" she says, joking and making him laugh again. She swears she'd do anything to make him laugh, anything to watch the way his eyes crease and those dimples appear.

"We can't all do it all like you y/n" he says making her roll her eyes.

"Don't flatter me Macdonald... Give me your bass and I'll show you how bad I can be" a deafening silence rings after that as they both take in her words. Words that really didn't mean to sound so... Sexual. His mind clouds with sinful images, images of her, mouth agape, head thrown back, him in-between her thighs as her nails claw his back.

She can't help but imagine her on her knees for him, looking up at him through her lashes as he grips the back of her head. Considering the amount of times she had told herself that they couldn't, her mind clearly had other opinions on it.

Their mouths fall open for one second, two seconds, three seconds, four seconds. Before they're both clutching their stomachs as they laugh loudly, willing away the unholy thoughts they were previously having.

"I swear' she says in-between their laughter "I did not... Mean it to come out like that" the door swings open and the people at the door stare at them like they're crazy.

They try to calm themselves down, breathing heavily in an attempt to halt their laughter.

"Oh my God, I'm so sorry" she says, finally managing to stop laughing and stand up to greet her bandmates.

"Hi" she says as she hugs them one my one. Clara and Abbie look over her shoulder to find Ross', raising their eyebrows up at y/n before she hugs them both.

"I've seen you've met Matty and George" she says and they all nod, Clara and Abbie both wiggling their eyebrows at the girl.

"That just leaves..." She begins, turning her body slightly to make way for Ross, but then he's right next to her, one hand on her back and one reaching out to shake their hands.

"Ross... MacDonald, lovely to meet you" he says, shaking their hands.

"You too mate" Jay says, smiling widely at him which shocks y/n. She shares a knowing look with the other girls and they shrug.

"Is Hann not here? Sorry... Adam" they hear Abbie say making them all chuckle.

"No, he said he'd be happy to help on any guitar bits if needed, but I think we've got that covered don't you?" Matty asks and Abbie smiles at him.

"I like you already" she says, stepping forward to clasp a hand around Mattys shoulder.

"Let's get started then" they all find a comfortable position round the room, talking amongst themselves for a few minutes.

Y/n watches as Jay finds his place behind the drum set they have set up in the studio and she feels happy when she sees George stand with him, watching as he does a few fills. Y/n can see that George is impressed and she smiles proudly.

When his eyes meet hers she mouths an "I know right" and then turns away from the both of them, allowing them to talk among each other and get to know each other more. Eventually Jay lets George take his place and show him a few things and y/ns eyes flick up, shocked that he's allowing it.

"That is not like Jay" she says aloud, Abbie and Clara agreeing. Matty and Ross both look at the girls confused.

"You'll understand when you get to know him..." They hear Abbie say as she tunes her guitar.

Y/n watches as Ross moves over to Clara and she hears them talking about bass stuff. She can't help but smile and feel thankful that so far this is going well.

She places her guitar down to remove the hoodie, now far too hot with all the people in the room, Matty pouts at her from across the room and she chuckles and she shakes her head, throwing it at him and making him laugh, the pout falling from his face. She's now adorning a simple black tank top and Ross' eyes can't help but drift over to her.

He literally has to shake his head to get his mind out of the gutter (again) but she notices and sends a smirk his way making him chuckle and shake his head again.

Her eyes are back on her guitar and she closes them for a second "get your shit together y/n" she thinks "you're working with them now, you can't keep doing this" she thinks.

"Ready"? She's pulled out of her own thoughts when a hand lands on her shoulder, she looks up to see Matty and she nods up at him.

They begin to talk through different things, y/n and the band show them some more songs and Matty, George and Ross give their input. Some ideas are loved, some are welcomed and some are discarded straight away with a laugh. They begin working on the song Ross remembers reading when he and y/n went and got coffee.

He learns that they titled it "changing roads". It's the first track they work on together and by the end of the day, it's recorded in its entirety, all edits made.

"Think that's the quickest we've ever finished a track before" Matty says, slumped against the black leather sofa. At some point Y/ns band slowly filtered out, having to attend their shifts at their day jobs.

"You know after this is released they're going to have to quit their jobs" she hears George say, making her smile widely.

"Hold your horses G... Don't get our hopes up" she says and she smiles, liking that she called him his nickname but also smiling because she didn't realise how amazing they were.

"I should really get going... Got a girlfriend to see" George says, standing up from his place on the floor, he walks over to her and she stands, meeting him for a hug.

"Don't forget how amazing you are... Also Charli wants you to come over for dinner" she smiles and hugs him again before he's leaving.

"Okay" she says happily, nodding up at him. He then leaves, leaving Ross, Matty and y/n.

Matty places a pair of earphones back on his head and asks her to click play again, wanting to hear the track once more. She leans over the sound board, clicking play, from where Ross sits,he snaps a picture of her and then of Matty.

She places another set of earphones over hear ears, moving to sit next to Ross who drapes his arm over the back of the sofa, where she sits.

The three of them listen together, all smiling sleepy little smiles as they listen to the track. She listens to herself sing and for once she's impressed by the sound of her voice, and the harmonies the band offer.

"You'll never stop these changing roads. This is the way our story goes" she hears Matty sing making her look over at him. His hands are crossed, held in-between his open legs.

"This is really good" Ross says, both y/n and Matty's head flicking to him, they both nod, they all smile.

She feels her stomach flutter, butterflies erupting. What was she doing?

Ok so I just watched Our Blue and Green World on the Video App and I do not have enough time to post my disjointed thoughts about it, and I'm frankly too much in shock by the whole thing to even say anything more. I will point out my one main thought since in a couple of hours, this is going to absolutely blow up the main WK tag and I want to get it off my chest before any major bandwagons hit. This'll be my last S7 spoiler related post for the night so I can log off and take a breather after what the fuck I just watched. Blue-whale/Amazon rainforest sized spoilers under the cut.

I am in such disbelief over this episode's ending. I'm not angry or fuming at the fact that they redeemed Paisey Paver after only giving her 7 appearances over the course of 8 years, (or maybe I'm too surprised to have any straight-forward) or the fact that they had the balls to do so, for ANY of the main villains, but I'm just.... bargaining here. They did a similar "hint" at the villains redeeming in the Christmas special only for it to be a fake-out. And in other episodes, we've seen the heroes legitimately help the villains, but through means other than redeeming them (i.e. saving Zach's life and trying to convince him to live it well, or rescuing Gourmand, or giving Donita a spider-silk dress that was made ethically).

This... is a whole new different level. They for one, pulled a Starlight Glimmer and gave her a new attire (which sucks BTW), and secondly, they had her join the Kratts, but this episode is the first out of the 4 episodes to air, meaning that this likely has to take place after those 3 episodes, so already there's my timeline post to make.

But more importantly, what next? Will they stick with this change? Will this be one of the things that is immediately undone by the end of the episode? Will this have a big role in the series? Is this an elaborate April Fools' prank??? Is this real? Is this the ultimate Paisley Paver pro gamer move to defeat the Kratt Brothers and evade arrest? Will any of this play into the Wild Kratts movie??

I'll tell you what it means [unless it is a prank, which I frankly hope it is] It is the show jumping the shark, and in it, I see one of two outcomes. Either A) it will skyrocket this show like never before, or B) only spell the beginning of the end. Time will tell. And frankly, there is so much that could go wrong. Like so much. I've seen a lot of shows completely go downhill, crash, and burn after sticking up for them so much. I would want to say that Wild Kratts is not/will not be one of those shows, but I could be wrong. In beautifully creative ways, this show has pleasantly surprised me more, and it is still able to bring out episodes that have been some of PBS Kids' best. So I'm walking in completely neutral, and seeing what the blue and green future has in store.

MY AUS✨

Here's a list of all my aus + tiny explanations about them! Might make separate posts for all of them someday idk

1. Dad!Rex au

-Of course, the only au I've been public about so far. If you've seen my other posts about it, you already know what this is about, but if not, it's basically just a child (Theodore) crashing in Undar while Emmet/Rex's still there. Theo helps with trauma, Rex realizes he doesn't want anyone to go through what he went through and as a result, Rex adopts more children. Basically just wholesomeness yesyes

2. Dualistic Sides au (idk)

-In an alternate timeline, Emmet gets saved a year before he becomes Rex. He's still traumatized though, so he's basically just Emmet with PTSD and trust issues. After like, maybe a few months, this version of Emmet, who let's call.. Evan, starts to get really depressed and misses being his past self, so he decided the only logical thing to do is to travel back in time to before he crashed in Undar. But of course, our Rex also still has that idea, so now it's basically just an 'angel and devil on your shoulder' situation as both Rex and Evan try to guide Emmet in their own plans respectively. Evan genuinely wants to help, but Rex just wants to manipulate Emmet. (Edit: I just realized that this au is REALLY similar to @thinknamewhat 's Time Rivals au so credits to them! shddhhsh I did not mean to practically copy paste it with just a few tweaks sorry 😭)

3. Undar Explorer au

-Instead of being paralyzed, Emmet can still move in Undar. But with his ship still destroyed, he's forced to survive in Undar all on his own. And instead of Undar being a barren planet, there are just enough life forces that it becomes a challenge. Oh also, his friends eventually crash in Undar as well a few years later, for drama✨ (this au is basically just a copy paste of Della's situation in DuckTales and. yeah 🙂)

4. Switched Situations au (Idk either 😭)

-Instead of Emmet crashing in Undar, this time it's Mayhem, Lucy, Unikitty, Benny, Metalbeard and Batman who crashes. Emmet's the one who manages to get through the Stairgate, but when he doesn't find his friends in the Systar System, he accuses Watevra of kidnapping them, and in turn, Watevra accuses Emmet and the other Apocalypseburgers of kidnapping Mayhem. Angry and devastated, they end up starting a deadly war against each other. And the ones who got stuck in Undar time travel to the past to: stop themselves from crashing, stop Emmet from confronting Watevra, and most importantly, stop the war.

5. Criminal au

-Self explanatory, instead of being masterbuilders who fight for a righteous cause, the masterbuilders are actual criminals who do crime and end up accidentally dragging Emmet into everything (happens during the first movie).

6. Ghost!Emmet au

-After Emmet sacrifices himself in TLM, he doesn't come back to life. He does come back as a ghost though. ..Yeah that's all there is to it, really.

7. The Worst Timeline/Replacement au

-Basically another dead!Emmet but so much worse! So here, Lucy doesn't arrive on time and Rex ends up killing Emmet. Everybody (as in, even the citizens of Apocalypseburg and the Systar System) eventually arrives to see Emmet dead and Lucy in complete despair. Rex explains everything and then just.. fades away because. Emmet's fucking dead. And now everyone's in even more despair. A year passes, and nobody has fully moved on yet, until eventually, it all becomes too much and Lucy and her friends all agree to time travel to the past to kidnap past Emmet, from wayyyyy back before the Duplos invaded, but still after TLM. They essentially gaslight and manipulate Emmet into thinking this was his original timeline. And.. yeah.

8. Lost Memories au

-Emmet just loses his memories after crashing in Undar. ..Actually I'm pretty sure someone already made an au about this, but I'm not sure?? If someone knows if anyone made this au yet, please tell me and I'll remove it here.

9. Mother Knows Best au

-Doris, Emmet's mom, got worried over Emmet's lack of contact, since he always contacts her, even after moving away. She decides to visit Apocalypseburg, only to find Syspocalypstar, and a memorial statue of Emmet, much to her surprise. After she finds Lucy and the others and gets them to explain, she begs them to help her find him. So feeling guilty, they all agree. And.. they do end up finding Emmet. Doris gets angry at Emmet's friends, thinking that if they've just searched more and put more effort in trying to find him, then he wouldn't have to have been so traumatized. She prevents Emmet from seeing them and becomes really overprotective. E.

10. Kids au

-Again, self-explanatory, it's basically just a prequel to TLM and it's the main cast (except Watevra and Mayhem of course) as children. It's literally just an excuse to write fluffy and angsty backstories about them, actually :b

11. Keeper Of The Timelines au

-After Rex back-to-the-future's in the 2nd movie, he becomes some sort of keeper of timelines, having access to the past, present, and future, he kinda subtly tries to keep everything going smoothly. From Emmet meeting Lucy, to him becoming the Special, to him meeting Rex, etc. And even though he knows not to interfere with already existing timelines, he still ensures that no more Emmets get stuck in Undar, or have to go through the same fate as him. Not if he can help it.

I’m so curious what’s going on with Kousuke!!! What do you mean a hormonal imbalance?? The whole time my sister (a soon-to-be doctor) was trying to diagnose him because she said “turns out all the tics I found cute were actually illness”

Also unrelated but am I the only one still wondering who gave Shine Ae the orange sweatshirt in the flashback after her first concussion? Did we ever learn? In my head (I don’t know if this is an uncommon theory) I always believed Nol tried to hurt himself on that rainy day where he didn’t show up to see Dieter or Soushi before they became friends. What if he ended up in the hospital at the same time Shin Ae was (both would’ve been around 3-4 years ago? Give or take) and that sweatshirt has some roundabout relation to him? Maybe I’ve just watched too many kdramas and I’m trying too hard to find the red string of fate lol

Had a bit of a laugh about your sister because lmao I've been trying to get my bestie back to reading ILY as she's a nurse and I've been DYING to hear her thoughts on Kousuke, too lmao but alas she hasn't been in the headspace for ILY yet so I continue to wait. But LMAO "all the things I thought were cute about him are AN ILLNESS?" alfjkakjfkjafjkafjk FEAR NOT to be fair I think a lot of what we see IS him, just... amplified by whatever Yui has been drugging him with and how it's affecting his system.

So the thought a lot of us had about the hormonal imbalance was that it was probably testosterone, since Hansuke didn't seem to want to divulge it in their mixed company, but also because he implied it was something that COULD be affected by stress, so it wasn't an IMMEDIATE red flag - but still something peculiar and wasn't something to be dismissed. Even outside of being drugged - which Hansuke certainly wasn't thinking of because WHO would be drugging Kousuke and god bless his sweet naive soul there was no way he was going to think of Yui doing it - there are other things that could affect his testosterone, thus it stood out to him but it wasn't "wow there is something SUPER wrong", especially given uhh.... EVERYTHING happening in Kousuke's life in the last couple months.

Ngl that ABSOLUTELY sounds like a kdrama plot LMAO like!!!!! They do NOT miss an opportunity to give their romance pairs a brush with each other before they ever "met for real" don't they? LMAO and like look don't get me wrong I love childhood friends to lovers but BOY do kdramas take it to a WHOLE OTHER LEVEL! lmaoooooooo But I have seen similar theories before! I know a lot of people have wondered if it could have been Nana who gifted it, like she just knits things and randomly gifted them to kids who were in the hospital.

That said, timeline wise that doesn't QUITE line up, though I don't think it was a reach to think it at all, because the fact that it's a mystery still makes us go HMMMMM doesn't it? Nol met Dieter the summer before high school, so if he did try harming himself at that time (and yes, I, too, think that he did), it would have happened after Shinae's hospital time, which was in middle school and she was out t finish school before the term ended, so Nol's event would have come after (assuming we have the timeline correct of course!).

But YEAH it still remains a mystery and I'm really, really curious. I had initially wondered if Alyssa might have done it, the one thing she could do for her guilty conscience because you KNOW her parents didn't want to get any more involved in it and probably paid off the school to keep it under wraps and keep her name out of it, but the sweater and hat seem like they were probably handmade, so I don't think my initial thought held any water. Of course that doesn't rule out Nana as a potential, because a Christian lady like herself might participate in church charity efforts and making gifts for children who have been in the hospital for a long time could have been something she might have done in the past! So while Nol himself may not be directly connected, that red string of fate you're looking for could still be there, in a somewhat subverted way, haha!

I really look forward to finding that out because I still find it so interesting that Shinae said "this shirt isn't even mine" when that lady threw her drink on her. What the heck did she mean?!

A Breeze of Love Live Blogging

I wasn't gonna liveblog this one but I'm near the end of ep 1 and I think I'll have things to say.

This was the last k-BL webdrama I had on my watchlist (not counting a short and a movie) but now that a few kBLs are coming out in April, I can watch this without worrying that I'm gonna run out lol

Ep 1 (Mar 28)

oops i got awkward and started skipping when they mentioned checking whether the ice got in the underwear

ah, the ideal scenario of Dongwook being able to now sleep without needing Dohyun by his side (but still wanting him there)

Overall:

The concept is somewhat similar to Our Dating Sim, with one character disappearing after the 2 characters kind of had something in high school (here, the characters had more of a thing than ODS) but then meeting again a few years later. Nothing about this was egregious of anything but it just felt like Dongwook had treated Dohyun terribly and was also being way too presumptuous in the current timeline, so it didn't fully work for me. I just wanted Dohyun to beat Dongwook up lol

This show is Obsessed with slow-mos and the swelling background music, like at least let me feel something on my own before doing it for the little things.

Maybe should be a 6/10 actually, compared to other kBL ratings that I gave 6 but whatever, I've already pretty much forgotten this show.

Sheryl Goodspeed. (Final Space)

Sheryl is not shippable with most of the canon crew because of several factors. Mostly because of Gary's relationship to them and her, she's kind of the team murder, hot grandma mum that drives the minivan, it'd be kinda odd unless it was like an entirely different universe, no one knew each other, adults etc, but that's not the case and something I'm not interested in. As she would not be with Clarence for example, one of the few she could get together with, but wouldn't. You are free to pursue her outside of that though along with platonic things. And I am fine of course in separate verses of say shipping her with someone and then Ash, Fox, Clarence, Tribore with the same character, but not the same verse.

2. This character is Australian, I've know Australians and been in a friend group of over six years with mostly aussies in vc. Then one of my best friends of twelve years whom I speak frequently to has been helping me is Australian, but I've been mostly guessing things right and with their permission have copied their way of talking to Sheryl. I can assure you that while I might make mistakes with saying like biscuits instead of scones, I do try to use my slang and lingo correctly, along with refraining from what most aren't aware that's regional, or the fact I think it's correct in the assumption that 'sheila' is considered an outdated, but acceptable term for women since language always evolves etc. I'll do my best to not butcher her rep, but she may sound more typical to a certain region like my friend is, as I get there are differences, slang that varies everywhere in Australia. Then there will be jokes here and there, but nothing dehumanizing as I'm fine with soviet russia jokes while being slavic for example, so I kinda get it y'know and my friends and the people of Australia seem to have the same mindset, though I respect anyone that's from there to maybe have a problem with it? I doubt it. So also tag 's now this is a knife' if the term cunt or cunty bothers you as I won't overuse it though maybe make a few starters for it. Because hey, I wanna give actual good rep or at least try and Sheryl would def say it, just tell me beforehand if you don't wanna hear it.

3. I suggest reading my ->Final Space Disclaimer<- (Placeholder)

4. A lot of time passes between S2 Sheryl and S3 Sheryl of her and Gary becoming closer together, but more or less takes the same course.

5. I highly suggest reading her fanon backstory and her part in the ending, characterization drabble at the bottom. But I wouldn't consider it required to be compared to say Ash, Fox or maybe Clarence.

Do I want them to die: Nah, mostly because of Gary for main timeline Sheryl, otherwise I probably would've killed her for her ending if she had remained unrepentant and Gary hated her. Opportunistic. Violent. Sadistic. Calm along with her anger most of the time, even in a fight to the death. Can experience surprise, but rarely is she ever afraid. Doesn't understand her own emotions that well. At times can enter denial, albeit not an obvious state. A bit of a loner. Doesn't like to stay in one place for long, a bit of a wanderer. Likes her hobbies when healthyish again, which include: likes fishing. Likes hiking. Likes hunting. Collects guns and weapons, especially 'knifes'. Likes camping. Survival cooking, Grilling, Bbqing. Likes old tech and ships and can be a bit of a secret nerd about it with knowledge alone, plays video games with Gary when made amends with him or other people she likes well enough. Tends to like action games or racing games. Likes a few pints here and there, can drink the pain away or just goes on dangerous missions if spiraling. Doesn't talk about her pain a lot, tends to endure things alone unless prompted. Can be worried or thoughtful to other people such as Ash canonically when it comes to well-being. She likes Space Maccas a lot. Mental traits: Has a form of ASPD and possibly depression. Thinks like a human, but has a very robotic way to analyze things due to her neural implants. Physical traits: A lot of scars on her body ranging from cuts, burns, bullet shots. Hands feel like leather, she can pick up sharp objects or fires without being effected much, granted it becomes only one of her hands in her post verse, it doesn't matter for the other so long as it's not like actual lava y'know. She's about the same height as Gary and Avocato which Avocato is said to be 6'5. She's pretty dense like him too considering her limbs might actually be thicker than his from what we've seen? So yeah, she's rather built too, albeit one for actual power so while she has definition, it's not that weird dehydrated body-builder look. Powers:

Lock picking - she can pick locks to even an eldritch horror's shackles. Why can she do this? I guess I explain it is that she uses specialized lockpick implants, or has lockpicks on her just in case.

Hacking - she's a stealth assassin and a spy in the endgame of her career. Kind of required.

Bombs - also kind of required but she's able to defuse bombs, plant them, subtly hide them, etc.

Pilot - is considered one of the best pilots in the universe in canon.

Ship engineer - well, she does know a lot about ships.

The world down undah - in the far off world down undah of far space? Is the near mystical world of Space Australia, where giant creatures roam, the inhabitants immigrants from Earth centuries ago when a great calamity happened in the region of Australia, they simply picked up Australia with their ships and left. This new environment they lived in gave them almost a super power in itself from overtime exposure, making them a formidable force in the universe... as few often wish to invade Space Australia, as even the areas in Space around it are inhabited by giant creatures, yet the people of Space Australia there flourish all too well.

Cybernetics - the cybernetics vary, but range from neural interfaces from targeting systems, reflexes, durability. Then for her post verse? Using one of her purple plasma knives deploys from her palm for the robotic right arm and some of her weapons listed below or tossed out of like a grenade. Has a slight healing factor, but couldn't regenerate her arm for instance.

Weapon Use - plasma guns ranging from overshoulder blasters, plasma blades, plasma pistols, machine guns. Grenades, sticky bombs and a few non-lethal things like tranq-darts All preferably silenced but interweave into her fighting style. She could certainly deflect bullets and plasma shots for a few, but not quite say a gatling gun or a machine gun. But maybe single to semi-auto.

Stealth Assassin - knows how to move undetected and tends to be her preferred method if going in guns a blazing is a stupid idea, even for a thrill.

Gadgets - things like grappling hooks, her jet boots, comms communicators, her fake back molar jacks to use for hacking, etc.

Planner - if she feels it's needed, otherwise she might just go in guns blazing. Can create month-long intricate plans, however

Knows the universe rather well and where to go - mostly from her experiences and contacts. Though she isn't the most connected other than to weapon producers and where to get illegal shit, her gear, then things like Space Maccas or other things from Earth.

Is able to track - She tracked down Todd pretty single-handedly, granted, acted a bit rash as she was trying to take him alive at first to torture for information. Though they ended up working together.

Motivations: To see tomorrow. To be with her family. To find thrills in her interests or excitement in life. Pursuing hobbies. To survive no matter the cost. Backstory:

To sum it up: her background is with her family, previously known as Sheryl Anderson, as a young hitman starting at the age of 15 in an Australian Mafia in Space Australia when her dad made her an ultimatum before she later becomes Agent Y, then eventually Prisoner Y when she was captured decades after murdering her old boss, though the organization is much bigger than that is why they're still after her. The only reason she wasn't executed right away was to have a prisoner transfer so they could execute her in public etc, but then freed herself when reuniting with Gary. Then her fanon ending is her going with Gary when killing Invictus to provide a way out for him after the deed is done and her own conclusion as a character with added characterization and her perspective with Gary.

You can read it below for her full backstory and conclusion, which I recommend! But I don't think is AS required say as my Ash and Fox reworks.

"SO there's some weird HYDRA girl locked and sedated in my basement? Cool, don't want to know." Tony dismissed, not looking up from his white mug as he tipped a generous amping of sugar into his black coffee. He swirled the liquid in the mug and turned around, leaning against the counter as he raised the drink to lips lips and took a sip before sighing intently. Bruce frowned, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Tony, I don't think you get it, I ran a DNA test and-"

"And she's probably some innocent girl that went missing years ago and was never found? I get it, I feel bad for her but at the end of the day she has nothing to do with me." Tony dismissed, pushing away from the counted to deposit his now-empty mug in the sink. He turned the tap on, rinsing out the cup before carelessly placing it on the drying rack.

"Just, please, come and see her. You won't regret it, and if you do - dinner's on me?" Bruce suggest, arms outstretched in welcome. Tony rolled his eyes, before scoffing.

"Yeah, no. I'm good. Catch you in the lab later though?" Tony was quick to deflect, exiting the room with so much as another glance. Bruce's hands feel to his side with a slap as his shoulders sagged in defeat.

Bruce nervously paced the lab, desperate to tell someone his horrifying discovery. The click of the door made his head snap up, a smile of relief spreading his on lips at the sight of Nat.

"Nat, finally." He sighed, walking towards the scowling girl.

"What did you need to tell me Bruce? You sounded pretty urgent when you called." She pressed, crossing her arms over her chest and raising a brow. His smile faulted, his gaze dropping to his hands where he fondled with a biro pen.

"I- uh. I made a... discovery about y/n." Bruce confessed, finally meeting Nat's eyes.

"Go on.." Nat prompted. Bruce took a deep breath, chewing on his bottom lip nervously. "Bruce-" she started.

"Y/n isn't entirely human-"

"Well we knew that much."

"It's what she is, that's shocking. Looking threw all her blood tests and whatnot - it's showing she has an ability to manipulate minds when she s-sings. It's like a certain note her voice forms that can control the minds of people around her."

"So what is she?"

"I don't know, there's not really a name-"

"A siren. She's a siren." A third voice joined the room, and both the avengers' heads snapped round to the direction it came from. In the door stood Steve, shoulder leant against the frame and ankles crossed.

"Who's watching y/n?" Nat asked.

"Clint. Anyway, my father - he used to read me a story when I was a kid. The Odyssey, I believe it was called. It was a Greek myth about a bewitching girl who lured saloons in with her voice so she could feed off them." Steve continued, pushing himself off the door frame and walking further into the room.

"There's no way that's real, though." Nat dismissed, frowning heavily at his words.

"No, no. He has a point - I mean, look at Steve. Look at me." Bruce said, gesturing to himself and Steve. "We shouldn't be possible, but science does some crazy things. Y/n was with HYDRA, right?"

"Yes, but-"

"Well, what if they did this to her. We know she was taken when she was young, so what if they did so to experiment on her?"

"I should go talk to her, you know - girl on girl. She seems to like me, maybe she knows what she is and she might open up to me, if I ask nicely." Nat suggests, walking out the room when she was met with no protests from the two men.

"There's something else I should mention." Bruce started fidgeting again, which man Steve's brown knit together.

"What is it, Bruce?" The super-soldier prompted. Bruce continued to fidget, not looking up from him hands as he spoke.

"Are you aware Tony used to have daughter?" Bruce asked sheepishly.

"Tony had a daughter?" Steve said, brows now raised with genuine shock. He knew of Tony's...escapades from before he was with Pepper, but he couldn't see Tony as the type to actually keep a child from just a one-night stand.

"She was adopted, some kid he found on the streets with no parents. So he took her in, raised her and then she just disappeared. Many people have forgotten she existed, and those that remember her are all under the impression that she is dead. I thought so too, until..." Bruce paused, flipping through some papers on his clipboard until he found what he was looking for. "Until this." He finished, handing the board over to Steve.

In Steve's hands was proof that matched y/n's DNA to that of Tony's adopted daughter.

"Well that explains the name, and her hesitation to tell us who she really is." Steve frowned, eyes scanning over the paper repeatedly. Bruce hummed in agreement, taking the clipboard back from Steve when he held it out for Bruce to take. "Do we tell Tony?" Steve asked after a moment.

"He doesn't want to know, I've tried telling him but he doesn't care." Bruce told Steve and Steve pressed his lips together as he thought. "I do think we should wake her up though. If she's Tony's daughter there can't be anything that's more dangerous about her than you expect her attitude." Bruce said and Steve nodded, suppressing a laugh.

"I'll tell Nat to wake her up." Steve said as he exited the lab.

The steam from the shower engulfed me, my hands running through my hair and brushing out the tangles lightly. As I scrubbed the shampoo from my scalp, I hummed a small tune - thankful to be somewhere noisy enough that I wouldn't risk affecting anyone with my powers. After waking me up Nat told me to clean up and get changed before handing me a pile of clothes and telling me that she would meet me at my room in half an hour to take me to meet the rest of the team.

Shutting the water off, I slid the glass door open and my feet padded onto the thin bath-mat. The towel wrapped around me as I patted my hair dry with another one, looking over my scarred figure in the large mirror opposite me.

A large scar spanned the width of my stomach, smaller remnants of cuts littering my thighs that were joined by one larger one from where I was once stabbed. Looking at myself over my shoulder, I observed the large scars that spanned over my back, the layers fading at different degrees from their varying ages. The memory of how I got them brought tears to my eyes, which I was quick to blink away and focus back onto what I was doing.

Pulling the large sweatshirt Steve had lent me over my head, I left the large bathroom clad in a pair of leggings and some socks I borrowed from Nat. I brushed my fingers through my wet locks, detangling them. I threw the towel onto the bed in the room I had been assigned and plopped down next to it, taking my time to survey the room I barely got a look of earlier.

The door to the en-suite bathroom I just exited sat on one side of the room, accompanied by a big closet and a dressing table. A chest of draws was propped next to the king sized bed the sat in and the free corner housed a small kitchen. It had a stove, fridge-freezer, sink and a few cabinets. On the side sat a kettle, toaster, blender and some chopping boards.

A sharp knock on the door bought me back to my senses, making me perk up a little at the sound of Nat's voice.

"You feeling okay?" I nodded. "Good, well Steve and Bruce want you to meet them in conference room 4. I'll take you." She quickly added the last part in seeing my scared face.

As we walked down the halls we chatted, talking about our pasts and finding out that we were fairly similar - we were both forced into the bad things we did, we both found a way to redeem ourselves, neither of us have ever had a boyfriend and we both love chicken noodle soup.

"Well, this is it." She announced, pointing at a door to our left. I nodded, going to open the door before pausing and turning around.

"Thank you. For taking me with you, for giving me this chance, for hiding me from HYDRA - thank you, really." I spoke softly, giving her the friendliest smile I could muster.

"No problem. I couldn't live with myself if I knew we could've helped you. Everyone deserves a second chance."

"I genuinely can't thank you enough - you saved me." I said, quickly swiping away the threatening tears with the heels of my hands.

"I was nice meeting you, y/n."

"You too." And with the last words said, I pushed the door open, walking into the room and being instantly greeted by Bruce and Steve.

"Hey, y/n, why don't you take a seat and we'll get the introductions out the way?" Bruce suggested and I nodded shyly. I took a seat next to Steve, who appeared to shuffle slightly away from me but I couldn't be sure.

"So, another midgardian?" a bulky man with shoulder length blonde hair and a red cape clipped to his shoulders broke the silence. He was clearly the God I'd been hearing about - I mean how much more of a costume does he need to look like Thor?

"Yes, we think so." Bruce confirmed. I frowned at this. Midgardian? What the hell was a midgardian?

"We think she's been tampered with, like me," Steve elaborated, "but as far as we know, she is of this earth." Steve spoke and Thor nodded. "We are keeping her safe from HYDRA." Steve said to break the silence as they all stared at me with funny looks. I kept my eyes cast down now, cheeks hot with embarrassment after feeling so many eyes on me at once.

"Does she-" I interjected the second I heard another voice. I stood abruptly, pushing me seat back and wincing at the screeching noise it made before resuming my angry face. I slammed my hand down the table as I stood, catching the attention of everyone sat at the table.

"If even one more of you refers to me as 'she' rather than just fucking talking directly to me I am going to end up sirening one of your asses!" I demanded, seething with anger. A grin broke out on Thor's face.

"Atta girl, I like this one already!" He laughed and I sat down again, smiling contented ay his compliment.

"She's got Tony's patience, all right." Another man remarked with a smirk. Steve simply rolled his eyes as common menus about my attitude were thrown around the room. Finally, someone addressed me. It was a woman with Blonde hair and kind eyes. She looked motherly.

"Hey, I'm pepper." She smiled kindly and I quickly reciprocated it. They went around the table - the man who had commented about my patience was called Clint, the blonde man was was indeed called Thor and obviously I'd already met Bruce and Steve.

"I'm y/n." I returned and she repeated my name in her beautiful voice, almost as if she was testing how I'd felt in her mouth.

"Y/n. A stunning name for a stunning lady." Thor commented, boyish grin still in place and I gave him a sheepish smile.

"Oh, cut it out big guy - you're like, a billion times her age." A voice came from the door and we all turned to find out who it was.

"Tony. I wasn't aware you'd be joining us." Steve said in a monotone voice and Tony gave him a tight smile.

"You don't get everything your way, Capsicle. Now, who's this?" Tony said, stuffing a mouthful of blueberries in his mouth before stuffing the bag of food in his back pocket and motioning to me with a nod.

"Tony, this is y/n," Bruce said moving out the way from where he was standing so Tony could see my face. The man's eyes widened instantly as the recognition sank in. "Y/n Stark."

Hey, hello! It's SATIM timeline + list of my AUs. I hope it help someone to understand how my AUs work ^ ^ It's bonus for 7th Day of SATIM's Birthday Celebration Week. The last one...

The main storyline of SATIM has been established practically from the moment I figured out that this comic would have a continuous storyline. It has a start with a prequel in the form of Before Henry, as well as three endings (bad, very bad, and good). However, because I had a need to do BendyxSammy shipping - Samdy After Workshop AU was created, in which the action takes place after the SATIM storyline and the only difference between this and the original SATIM - is coming up with an alternative ending, the so-called very good. This is AU made from short stories showing to the fate of Sammy and Bendy after everyone's release from the Workshop, and contain strong erotic scenes between the main characters. Slice of life + some sex scene, that is it. It was AU that required me to completely remove an Elena you don't know yet, so you don't know why I had to do this. Sad to kill someone like that, but she would mess too much with the plot... The next AU that sprang out of it was, if I'm not mistaken, Princess Sammy AU - which is my April Fools' Day joke from 2020... Well, a joke or not a joke, but I wrote 3-4 chapters and maybe one day I'll decide to finish it as novel and even translate. It is an absolute mix of different fairy tales and a lot of heroes breaking the fourth wall, and Sammy is a girl there, but remembering (s)he was a man once... soooo... I just love it :D Another one was now abandoned novel (although I'm considering making it into a BATIM-independent story with completely different characters) Female Sammy AU - where the action is similar to Samdy After Workshop AU - except that Sammy and several other characters (i.e. Jack) are gender swapped, which forced a story change (e.g. the plot between Sammy and Susie is based on friendship, while Sammy hates with Allison, who stole her boyfriend, Tom). Bendy in this AU is an evil character, a demonic parasite who acts deceitfully and uses Sammy to find the perfect body for himself, temporarily taking over her fiancé's body (Sammy knows this and - reluctantly - agrees to it 'cause she loves her lord and master more than her fiancé). Quite dark, with lots of sex scenes (Bendy controls Sammy with sexual pleasures), but also with great plot potential... Then we have my favourite AU by far - this year's April Fools' Day joke: Samdy Kids AU! Yes, it was supposed to be a joke. But I love these three cutes so I just couldn't announce after the first of April that it was just a joke... But I'm not going to change the main plotline of SATIM either. That's why I gave the little ones a new home in the form of their very own AU. The only difference between SATIM and Samdy Kids is that, instead of friendship between Sammy and Bendy, in the third series of the comic storyline, love begins to bloom. And for that to work, I also had to change the reason why Bendy suddenly disappears in Before Henry. Besides, all plot points go almost the same, except that there are three newborns and then toddlers in the studio... Elena exists in this version, but has a smaller role than she should have in the fifth series. The Mini-AU that separated from Samdy Kids - is this year's The Ink Demonth. I can't take it as the canon of my own AU, 'cause according to my canon, when Sammy leaves the Workshop, he regains his human form. When his children leave the Workshop, they also become half-human. In addition, Bendy, after lifting the curse, reaches his perfect form (and no, it is not Bendy from the cardboard cutout, absolutely not! He is a tall, handsome demon with both perfect hands and legs). And the newest AU - Sammy the Sandwich AU. It is the most erotical of all stories with the sole purpose of being an erotic story. Seriously. This story is made up of chapters each dedicated to a different character that Bendy and Sammy make a triangle with (and there are group scenes every few chapters). At the moment I have only 7,5 chapters written. Sammy is hungry of sex there, and Bendy aims to make him happy at all costs. Actually, characters in this only share some traits with SATIM characters.

Everything else is a wet dream come true or so, lol. The idea for this was born after Valentine's Day 2021, but I only started writing it during the vaccation... In general, as you can see, almost all AUs except the main story, are novels. Samdy Kids is a strange hybrid, 'cause the plot that takes place before everyone's release from the Workshop is comic strips, and the plot after being released from the Workshop - it's a novel. I marked all of them as 18+, except for Samdy Kids and Princess Sammy, 'cause they contain sex scenes, and in the case of Sammy the Sandwich and Female Sammy AU, also true violence. I hope this diagram will help you get your bearings. I didn't put on the diagram all the stories that happen completely outside - that is, those in which I appear as a character, also mixing universes (hi there, SoberCupcake!) and specials for various occasions (e.g. Mother's Day, or the Ink Demonth from 2020) etc.

I'm not a huge Ganyu fan, but why do you hate her so much 😭

i'm glad you asked!! this got long so i’m putting it under a readmore

i think she is so boring, & i think she is ugly. the horns are cute. red horns on light blue hair is cute! but the hairstyle sucks. the outfit sucks. i'm sick to death of seeing ganyu art with massive meat globes. it's not even sexy!! i feel uncomfortable for her!!!! and are you seriously wearing a cowbell???? a cowbell over your skintight figure-hugging suit & then some kindd of "skirt" thing if you could even call it that. you're the secretary for the most powerful woman in liyue & you dress like this. there are better looking characters in game you could sexualize & people choose ganyu. and her NA strings show her ass every 3 seconds. to be fair nobody uses her NA but like ....mihoyo recently got yelled at by a group for having characters be too sexy, which is why 4 characters got alt skins that were more conservative. and ganyu is still going to show ass. (to be fair a lot of female characters show ass too just for like...moving and breathing. jumping. NA strings. swimming. & i also hate that. @ ayaka)

i don't like her voice acting either - i'm sure her VAs work very hard!! & that's fine!! but i'm tired of all these unnecessarily high pitched voices. this is a problem with..i guess the industrry?? maybe?? lots of asian media go with the "high pitched voice = cute" kind of thing & i don't like it. anyway it's not a specific problem that ganyu invented, but it's another reason i don't like her.

and there are 10 billion overworked waifu type characters in the game already, & she's like "woe is me...i'm so lonely in the human world...i'm the only adepti in human society (yanfei is right there).....oh no there was a misunderstanding so i'm running away forever without trying to clear it up.." how are you gonna be 200+ years old & act like this. i like seeing her when she's comfortable in situations. it's annoying that the only times i remember seeing her comfortable in positions is when she's working. i hate how her overwhelming fandom characterization a lot of people to characterize her as a stupid shy blushing socially-clueless idiot. i barely remember her story quest.

you may think this is hypocritical bc razor is similar at first glance, with the whole “oh no, i don’t fit into wolf society, & i don’t fit into human society! what’s a little guy to do?” except that ganyu has had her entire life to feel like she doesn’t fit in & hasn’t made any progress towards solving it. razor gets kicked out off wolf society due to his actions protecting humans in his story quest, which i guess happens relatively recently in the timeline of the game. this happens like a week or two ago. he’s also just a kid faced with a hard decision. i’m sure whenever they make his story quest part 2, we’ll see how he deals with it then. also i think razor is cuter & i like his design, his voice acting, his playstyle, etc etc.

& even though she's a great cryo dps, her playstyle is so boring... just go stand on the other side of the room & click & hold & you can only attack once every like 5 seconds!! admittedly if your ganyu is built well you can hit like 20-50k damage on original hit + bloom damage if you crit, but you know who else can do 20-50k damage in 5 seconds? my razor hits for 5-20k on average, & it doesn't take NEARLY as long for him to do so - i think he can do his full NA combo in 5 seconds for ~60k if he crits on every hit. which he might not. to be fair. anyway one Hu Tao crit vape CA on a normal enemy does like 60k & that takes one second. Itto can output like 200k damage during his Q in 5 seconds. ganyu does have AOE on her charged shots, which is nice, but I dislike bow charged attack playstyles sooooo much. i need a cryo dps but i hate her so bad i skipped her for ayaka, who i also really dislike personality-wise but at least she’s fun to play.

thsi doesn't mean i'll flame anyone i run into that uses ganyu. if you like ganyu, good for you! especially if you're playing ganyu & about to carry me in a domain or something. this “barfo-ness” only applies when she appears in story quests. for me, personally, i'm not about any of that. her only appeal to me is her position in the meta. & sometimes when artists draw her in alternate outfits. & also since she’s a few hundred years old, she can probably share a lot of lore with us, or tell me about zhongli. i love grandpa

So here's the timeline for my personal AU, where all my fics and art take place (minus that one drawing of Cathala and Tarinne in Ardenweald but shhhh). Basically everything up until BfA is the same, except there's a much longer period in between events. Year dates start at the beginning of Warcraft 1 with the opening of the Dark Portal, for clarity (and because that's how it is on Wowpedia). I can't necessarily account for every single canon character who's age has been flip-flopped a million times, but if my new timeline means Jaina is in her early 50s now or whatever, so be it. I'm not a coward, unlike the cishet men at Blizzard.

Note: Since I want to keep the burning of Teldrassil, but am fully aware Sylvanas as a character had like... no lead up to doing that... I'll need to workshop her character arc to make it make sense 😅 I have some ideas.

Note #2: This is heavily focused on what happens with the night elves because in all honesty, I mostly made this to soothe my aching night elf-loving heart. At last I can know some semblance of peace.

45 - Fourth War begins with the burning of Teldrassil

-Most of the events carry out as they did in-game. Azerite, the night elves won the Battle for Darkshore, Stromgarde was reclaimed by the Alliance (had to google the outcome of that one bc blizz sucked at getting that info across. or maybe that was just me), the same general stuff with Zandalar and Kul Tiras, blah blah blah, except all the stuff with N'Zoth never happened.

-After Tyrande leaves as the Night Warrior, Malfurion becomes the temporary leader of the night elves, aided by Shandris.

47 - Fourth War ends

-Night Warrior Tyrande disappears with Maiev on a mission to hunt down Sylvanas, who herself disappeared after killing Saurfang.

-While the Horde ditches the idea of a warchief and settles on having a ruling council instead bc they're not stupid, internal friction in the Alliance grows.

49 - Portions of Darkshore are habitable again, courtesy of druids from both factions. Not many people want to move back though, as a recent warzone isn't really the most homely or welcoming place. Similar thing goes for Arathi.

50 - My fic, Black Rain (beta title), begins and ends (it takes place over like a week lol). Technically not much of massive importance happens, as I'm writing it to be a standalone, self-contained story, but this is my timeline so I'm including it.

Future

-Tyrande and Maiev kill Sylvanas after tracking her down in Northrend, where she and her loyalists were planning on hiding out for a while until the dust settled.

-Tyrande returns to her role of High Priestess and begins severing already strained ties with the Alliance, in preparation for another long period of isolation for the night elves.

-The Alliance finds another allied race to fill the gap and keep the factions balanced jk

-There is an exodus of most night elves (and some worgen) from the Eastern Kingdoms back to Kalimdor, with a new capital forming around Nordrassil, as they settle into what's essentially a second Long Vigil. Tyrande agrees on a "don't fuck with us, and we won't fuck with you" policy with Orgrimmar. Darkshore, Moonglade, Winterspring, Felwood, Mount Hyjal, most of Ashenvale, and portions of Stonetalon become incredibly risky territory for outsiders as the night elves heavily fortify their borders.

-The sword in the planet gets fixed, somehow. Might have to wait and see how Blizzard decides on doing it before I settle on a method. Either their idea is good and I steal it, or it's bad and I fix it.

-And then everyone gets to relax for a while. Well, if you're not an Alliance politician, because after the Fourth War there's a lot of questioning the validity and intelligence of monarchies, especially HUMAN monarchies because why the hell did we let this college student lead nations in a war? Also why is the shortest-lived race the leader of the Alliance at all? Maybe this leads to a civil war, I think that would be spicy and interesting.

-Lordaeron/Undercity is cleared of Plague and technically habitable again.

-Gilneas is properly reclaimed by the Gilneans/Alliance. (Unless it already has been? idk all the pages I read were confusing)

-N'Zoth and Azshara will have to be dealt with some day, but not for a little while.

-The Horde and Alliance probably fight some more I guess. I haven't thought that far ahead.

Again, I mostly made this to soothe my bleeding elf-loving heart, and this is all extremely self-indulgent. Canon Warcraft lore is in a bad place right now, but it's all made up anyway so I'm just gonna make up my own version and go with that. I'm here for a good time not a long time. And I'm calling this my comfort AU. Might as well just say it like it is.

Mhmm, good songs in German. 🤔 Let me think.

I would definitely recommend listening to songs from “Neue Deutsche Welle” (New German Wave”). That’s not a band btw, it’s a (West) German rock music genre from the late 70s/early 80s. Sooo many great songs, and great lyrics (which is kind of the point for you, right?)

Maybe you’ve even listened to one? “99 Luftballons” (99 Red Balloons) by Nena is probably the internationally most well known NDW song.

If you have Spotify or Deezer, just search for Neue Deutsche Welle, that should provide you with some excellent playlists. I’m sure YT also has NDW playlists.

I’m not overly familiar with the current German music scene tbh. I don’t listen to the radio and don’t pay attention to German charts.

There are several rock or pop artists and bands singing in German tho. In no particular order and not necessarily music I listen to myself, but at the top of my head I can think of the following artists (mixed genres across the board): Adel Tawil, Wincent Weiss, Annett Louisan, Glasperlenspiel, Silbermond, Herbert Grönemeyer, Die Ärzte, Fettes Brot, Die Fantastischen Vier, Sarah Connor, Mark Forster, Gil Ofarim, Tim Bendzko, Ich + Ich, Die Toten Hosen, Unheilig, and a million others.

Maybe just listen to some of them and see wether you like their music and then let the algorithm suggest you similar artists? Also check the lyrics and see whether that’s what you’ve been looking for and if it can help you to learn German.

Something I think could also be very beneficial: reading books. It doesn’t have to be Goethe (to Germany what Shakespeare is to Great Britain). It can be children’s books, or young adult books, also comics. (FUCK JKTERFROWLING TO HELL AND BACK, but if you liked Harry Potter, the books have been translated into German, pls just don’t buy them and make that transphobic asshole richer, the HP books in German are available as ebooks “for free”).

Reading a familiar story in a foreign language will be easier than trying to read something completely new. Pretty much any YA book series will also be available in German, same goes for comics, romance novels, the Lord of the Rings trilogy, crime stories and so on. My English VASTLY improved by reading books (and fanfic 😌) in case you like to read, that’s something I‘d definitely suggest you also check out.

As for German TV shows. LOL, I watch so little German TV, kinda difficult for me to come up with recs. One show I highly recommend is DARK tho, it’s 3 seasons, all done and wrapped, and it’s on Netflix. It’s a bit like Stranger Things, only in 3-D (it’s super complex with various timelines, but it’s glorious and so, so good!).

If you have Netflix, you could also see whether there are any other German shows available. IDK, Netflix differs from country to country/region to region, there are probably differences.

Oh, and I think on YT you can find several queer storylines from recent and older German soaps with English subtitles. We’ve had queer storylines on most soaps since the 90s, and international fans have been really great at curating playlists. Maybe that’s something you might enjoy.

Something that rather pains me to suggest: just watch your favorite TV show or movie in German. 🤦‍♀️ In Germany EVERYTHING (on TV and in movie theaters) is dubbed. Game of Thrones? Available in German. Wonder Woman? Sure, she speaks German fluently. This won’t help you with 1:1 translations (German dubbing tries its best to lip-sync, meaning that the spoken German is in sync with the lip movements of the original speaker, so dialogue translations are not always 100% accurate, certain jokes or word games will also be changed to make them work in German). A bit like reading a book you like in German, watching a familiar film or show in German can give you a better idea of the “flow” of the language.

Also pronunciation. Shows and movies are usually dubbed in “high German”, so no tricky German accents you’ll struggle to understand. And if possible, download GERMAN subtitles for whatever you watch. You might not understand everything they say, but reading what they say will help you to recognize words much better than watching sth in German with subtitles in your own language and than you’re just busy constantly “translating” instead of paying attention to the German.

Another genre we have in Germany, and German kids (and adults) LOVE: Hörspiele (audio dramas)! Whether you listened to Benjamin Blümchen (a talking elephant who lives at the local zoo), Bibi Blocksberg (a kid witch) as a kid or Die Drei ??? (The Three Investigators, most successful audio drama series world wide, the series recently celebrated its 40th birthday - the speakers started when they were kids in the late 1970s, they are all over 50yrs old now and still record 4-6 dramas/year and their live tours with more than 10K audience/show are legendary) as a young adult, most kids in Germany grow up listening to audio dramas.

Even adults continue to listen to them (I’m a HUGE Drei ??? fan myself, I don’t listen to the dramas to fall asleep tho, unlike most other people, but I went to see them live last year and it was The Absolute Best Thing In All Of 2019). There are so many different genres, and stories, there are audio dramas for almost any age group (and thus language skill level), and it’s really cool.

Okay, this got long. Not sure if any of this will be helpful for you, but I hope you’ll find something you’ll enjoy, that will also help you tackling the German language. Good luck and “viel Spaß”!

Joshua: True and I had hypothesized that "Ultra Blast" ,the QN Single to come out and the HEAVENS single to come out would all be in the game around the time of their releases and put in the campaign. I got thrown a little bit of a curveball when I found out that Ultra Blast wasn't put into the game so that I was wrong on...this now makes things interesting for later on in the "game timeline"

HAD they put in the song for STARISH then the QN song would have been in...this would leave some fans to wonder IF KLab was going to put in HEAVENS as the game progressed. Since they didn't do it (at least for the foreseeable future) then they can use the "Well we didn't for them" excuse which is annoying as all get out

The thing is though that doesn't rule out HEAVENS being in the game...it just puts it off further IF they are going to do it

Someone: Alright...explain the difference

Joshua: Sure!

IF the STARISH single (Ultra Blast) and the QN single were put in then there was a chance that HEAVENS would get put into the game around the Fall when their song comes out and we know this didn't happen.

SINCE they weren't then we can assume right now that IF they are to be put in it will be closer to around the time of the movie because of the way the releases work for story songs which is about one story a month. THIS would put them off to next year (if at all) because of the way the songs worked in the game

Someone: I think I'm getting this...so basically right now because of the fact ONE single out of three wasn't put in then the debut for HEAVENS in the story would be pushed back

Joshua: Right but now we have to think about this too

June for UtaPri is an interesting month. We have the 8th Anniversary of the franchise and we have two dates for HEAVENS debuts

6/6 - The debut of the trio in "Crystal Time"

6/27 - When they came back at the Triple S as a 7 person.

These two dates are from S2 and 3 and we know this for a fact because we can look up the dates of the episodes. What would be interesting to see is if they got put in around THEN but that might not make sense to some fans so we are looking further off...how much further is dependent also on the release calendar for when we get to S1 songs which I discussed before correct?

We have Shining Live and that is out BUT Broc is supposed to eventually release 3 more games for the VITA Ports

Broccoli is porting these games over to the VITA so that people can play those games on that system and earn trophies along the way...this makes sense since Dolce Vita still has to come out and that game's release date is TBD also

Someone: That game is also supposed to be HEAVENS' debut correct?

Joshua: That is correct but its running into an interesting situation because you see this is nearing the end of February and the movie comes out next year. You got AT MINIMUM 3 games to release between now and then and one is supposed to have HEAVENS in it. Now its POSSIBLE that the game comes out BEFORE 2019 but there has been no announcement on that yet so trying to get an answer to any of this is hard...really hard!

Andy D: So what is your best guess for any of this?

Joshua: Right now? THIS

We know that the QN and HEAVENS singles come out this year on dates TBD and we have the 8th Anniversary coming. THAT will be important because you figure when that comes we PROBABLY have to get this information

A Movie release date (We know the year but not month and day)

A release date for at least Debut if not that and possibly the AS games or Dolce Vita

The HEAVENS site will at least be up till the movie is past...we know that for sure but one BIG thing Broc should announce is whether or not they plan a 5th season and if SO...eh that could be interesting if they are planning that for 2020.

Someone: Because the movie is in 2019 right?

Joshua: Right and ramming them together isn't the best idea. They did that kind of with Revolutions and Legend Star and it made no sense and it REALLY made no sense because I would have had it where S3 was in 2015 (which it was) but then Season 4 would have been in 2017 and the movie STILL could have been in 2019 or even if they wanted to they could have given it the time to breathe like this movie is and put that on the 10th Anniversary

Andy D: What did you make about Agematsu's tweet about the series living on forever because "That was the original author's wish"

Joshua: THAT threw me because I think a lot of people were expecting either Season 4 for the Anime to be the end at this point and now the movie. This leads us to a big thing about the TV site

Someone: You mean the fact that it still has Season 4 as a visual and the re-direct for the movie?

Joshua: Yeah...see the thing that I'm trying to figure out is...IF Season 4 was the last season then after you did the redirect to the movie site you could probably let the TV site just go and not renew it for another year. Now the site is still up RIGHT NOW and that is probably going to be there till at least 6/24 but the question will be this

Do they renew the site and if they do then WHY?

Andy D: Well if they do its because they have a plan for a 5th season right?

Joshua: That's true but then the next question is this

Is the season with just STARISH?

Is it a STARISH/QN season?

Is it some deviation from what they have been doing and do something with either QN on their own or HEAVENS on their own?

Someone: Well one would think that with STARISH hitting #1 they would continue with them...the thing is where can their story really go?

Joshua: The writer in me tried to figure that out for a while...season 2 actually made me go "Okay...so they won this competition so where do we take the story?" Then they did Seasons 3 and 4 and lately I became more vocal about how that story was wrote and people hate me for it trust me

Someone: Well you spoke your mind and you really should be applauded for it. It was interesting to see how they tried to get the stories of QN developed in their episodes but HEAVENS was kind of...eh?

Joshua: Basically. Its like sitting in a room and you KNOW where the story SHOULD go but they did everything to convince you that you should want STARISH to win the competition...oddly when S3 happened I didn't start to "hate" STARISH but "resent" is more of the way I look at it

Someone: Well didn't Sailor Moon have kind of a similar problem back in the 90s?

Joshua: Yeah and then they did a Live Action version which in a way "fixed" the problems because you were able to develop everyone proper and give them stories and see how their characters went...even MINOR characters in a way got to have their time in the sun (not that Naru or Motoki were "minor" but you get the idea) so the story felt less of a fatigue factor in my opinion

Someone: I think I get it...so you think they didn't develop other characters properly and that makes it harder to embrace them correct?

Joshua: Right. It also doesn't help that the writers couldn't take a "hard left" and figure out another way to get where they wanted. This is just an opinion of course and I know this isn't where this was supposed to go but you get the idea

Someone: I do! I think the final question then is...what happens to HEAVENS come after "Dolce Vita?"

Joshua: That fate is in Broc's hands sadly. Its like they knew there is a base for HEAVENS right now but its tiny so they have to go where the money is...hell the English Version of Shining Live has more downloads than that twitter has followers but what can you do right?
