Guess who is back from the grave and back on their bullshit??
Me
And I'm back with some announcements for the 3-4 people who like my stuff, y'all the real ones.
Anyways, announcements.
I'm working on a bunch of little writing prompts and I hope to actually be more active online, I want to make a community full of chill peeps who have similar interests as me and I want to actually make progress on my damn arg so I can finally show the people my work.
My ARG, Mindless Satire, is gonna be delayed for a while because of many factors but the main thing is I'm basically doing this solo and editing is still new af to me. it is in the works tho and I plan on making more art based around it. Hopefully you all will love it as much as I do, it's been in the works for years up until this point and it's gone through so many variations it's insane. I'm finally satisfied with the final idea of it so now it's just a matter of working and filming it.
Another thing is that I want to start writing more in general, I've been slacking in that department since school has been my main priority but summer is getting closer and now that I'm getting breaks I have more time to do things I love. I'll start posting prompts and stuff throughout the day to keep this little blog active and busy
Not to mention I have two main projects I have on the stove and a few on the back burner.
Currently cooking;
(1. ) The DSMP ; Rewritten - I don't think I've talked about this on here but I have always wanted to write my own iteration on the DSMP, I put it kinda on the back burner after school started coming down harder on deadlines and I was actually planning on scraping it all together. It wasn't until techno passed that I finalized the decision to work on it at a later date, up until this point I have been writing headcanons, notes, and potential character arcs for this series to fully flesh out aspects I feel should have been (like characters and their arcs, Eret was by far my favorite to write for omg the POTENTIAL)
On the topic of the DSMP, imma say this here and I'll write it out on the sites I'll upload the official pages, yes. I will be writing the c! Versions of the dream team. HOWEVER, I don't support them at all and their actions. I am not the biggest fan of them but because it's a rewrite of the DSMP it's important that there in it, by their design of course. But then again, I'm running and writing the show this time around so imma flesh their characters out how I'll see fit. You all are just gonna have to wait and see. Hopefully you guys will like my takes
(2. ) Limbo's Advocate - this one is brand new and was initially gonna just be a practice for me to get back into writing. But then the idea spiraled and while it's still gonna be an experiment to test my skill, it's became such a good idea that I just wanted to flesh it out as well.
Basically, the series is inspired by genloss (even tho it's not out yet but shhh-)
The premise is as follows;
Similar to the Magnus archives, The Association of Supernatural Security and Etherial Testing (also known as ASSET) has given a better position in the company to the intern, codename; RANBOO.
After the disappearence of the original catalyst, the job was given to Ranboo. As the new catalyst, it's Ranboo's job to document and properly organize evidence and witness testimonies and do all sorts of stuff for the company and it's many other branches of workers.
Things begin to get weird tho because all horror related things need to get weird to work and Ranboo begins to document entities in a journal because of his bad memory, this leads to a lot of realizations as he puts together a tragic and disturbing reality.
Yeah I know pretty vague but bare with me here I'm trying to be mysterious and rope you guys in. I already have a long list of characters which includes Crumb, Aimsely, Billzo, Sneegsnag, Shane and Ryan, and a shit ton of other creators. I already have a bunch of the case ideas noted down too so now I just have to find time to start writing.
And that's just about the current concepts that on the stove right now, a bunch of back burner projects will probably be announced at a later date? Most of them are original works I came up with when I was in 7th grade lol. I'll probably edit and switch around some things before shilling it out.
Fun fact, Mindless Satire was a concept I came up with as a prompt during 7th grade and only until the pandemic did I actually start taking it seriously.
If you read this far, I really appreciate it. Its been a dream of mine to work in some sort of entertainment based field (I always wanted to be a content creator of sorts but I'm kinda broke)
You just being here and reading this genuinely means a lot. Your a real one.
Anyways I gotta start writing, I'll post more soon!

No one asked but head canon that I have for some of the characters that shouldn't be a thing and I hope it never becomes canon.
Ruby:
- She's just a lamp at this point, it's good for practice tho
- Absolutely tried to adopted a Beowolf at one point in V4/V5 until Qrow made her stop.
- She can cook... Kinda she just know the basics. The only thing she knows to bake is cookies, like that's it.
- She listen to rock but her favorite band is One Direction.
- She may have cut herself way to many times while cleaning or maintaining Crescent Rose, she's still sad she didn't even got a cool scar put of it because of her aura.
- She once tried to cut her own hair in V4 and then gave up and just decided to wait till some actual decent hairdresser could do it for her.
- She doesn't know how to pronounce correctly some stuffs so she just call them "thingy"
- Tried to dyed her hair all red like Gerard Way... Yang didn't let her touch any hair products for 5y.
Weiss:
- Doesn't know how to drive a bicycle and at this point of her life she's just afraid of asking.
- "I don't cook, I don't clean"
- Later Yang taught her how to clean, so at least the dorm isn't as much of a disaster.
- "Yes I have a scar in my eye, no I'm not blind"
- The only fiction book she actually read was Sailor Moon manga and that's why she uses combat skirts.
- Her favorite character is Sailor Venus
- Ruby once showed her the anime and she just cried, cuz "goddamit there's way to many episodes Ruby".
- She fights everyone just for shit and giggles, she just enjoy the drama.
- She knows how to play the kazoo for some strange reason.
Blake:
- She will never tell anyone but she onced read an hentai by accident at the age of 12 and since then she has a phobia of tentacles.
- Is a bad influence... Specially to Ruby.
- She once skipped an entire day of classes because she was sleepy, Weiss was really mad at her.
- "Men, I wish I had the money to buy that" Proceeds to hack the system so the company sends her shit for free
- Yang has to tell her she can't just continue doing illegal shits now that's she's at school and out of the White Fang.
- Sometimes she just look directly at Weiss eyes and just break some shits to make her upset.
- "Blake, isn't your abdomen too exposed on battle?" "I want them to know I'm hotter than them Illia"
- "High boots? Check. Skinny pants? Check. Fat ass? Check. Ok I'm ready to fuck shit up"
Yang:
- She loves every type of music but she only knows how to twerk with classic music.
- Knows every word of "Bet on it".
- Used to watch Turtle Ninjas and Michelangelo is her favorite.
- The hot lesbian weeb, geek, nerd and jock everyone loves.
- For some reason she knows ton shit of History and Philosophy.
- She once made an essay about High School Musical named "Sharpay Evans was the real victim."
- She is a fanatic of car/bike video games like Need for Speed, etc
- Absolutely loves GTA and she used to play with Velvet and Blake all the time in Beacon
- She and Nora once went outside on a stormy day to see if by Nora activating her semblance she could electrocuted Yang so she could activate her own semblance... It strangely worked.
- She can't really cook but she's an amazing baker... Tho she only bakes on Ruby's birthday
- She has a whole archives of blueprint of some motors, cars, bikes, weapons, etc.
- Yang and Blake just used to go to clubs or bars to bet money on some dudes in pool and blackjack knowing damn well Blake was an expert on both.
- Yang knows different instruments, her favorite song to play is the Wii Sports song
Jaune:
- He loves romantic movies, The Notebook always makes him cry
- He learned to play guitar to impress girls to make him look like a tough guy, now he just play acoustic covers of Britney Spears discography.
- Circus is a personal favorite of him.
- He knows how to dance, used to do ballet with his sisters and once a boyfriend of one of his sisters taught him hiphop
- Has a teddy bear that he brings everywhere with him.
Nora:
- Fav food is pancakes but she absolutely loves eating pizza
- She always gives strange ideas to Yang since she knows Yang is a closet nerd and geek.
- She saw Pokemon once and since then have tried to imitate Pikachu attacks.
- Power Ranger is her shit.
- Hot girl shit
- If Ruby is a lamp, then she's a charger.
Ren:
- He did tried to dyed his hair pink but didn't like the result so decided for just a part of his hair pink.
- Everyone things he's the normal one of the group until you listen to him in a deep discussion with Weiss about Sailor Moon.
- Him and Blake casually bond once because of tea and now they just recommend each other new teas they have tried.
- He absolutely loves cartoons, Samurai Jack is one of his fav.
- The emo kid that is also a sunshine.
Oscar:
- "I cook and I clean"
- He just think Yang is cool and it doesn't matter how much Weiss tries to make him stop thinking that Ruby just tells some cool story about Yang.
- "Sir, they are my found family, can you please take me back to them?"
- Loves talking with Blake, she's always giving him books recommendations and she's one of the few that don't strictly treat him like a kid.
- He tried playing video games with Ruby... Let just say he prefers spending time with Ren now.
- Knows every word of Short King Anthem, he sings the chorus while Weiss and Nora rap the other 2 verses.
- He watch Love Island religiously and even has the game in his scroll.
Bonus:
- Sun made a GC with only Illia and Yang on it so they could talk about Blake but he forgot they don't have international communications anymore.
- Coco and Yang and Blake used to go to the same gay bar.
- Summer used to curse when playing video games with Qrow and one day Ruby heard her. Since Ruby could barely talk she didn't cared until at dinner Ruby said "Fuck" In her tiny baby voice and that's the first word Ruby said... Also Qrow was banned of playing video games with the girls in the same room because Summer blamed him.
- Phyrra was a musical fanatic that she and Yang just watched a musical every Sunday.

What are your reasons 👀
e.g. my reasons for Elias = Kepler are that they’re both huge condescending bastards about everything, it’s about their personality and how much I hate them
dsklfdsdj ok REASONS why elias bouchard is most like rachel young out of the w359 antagonists
(i will say first off, in VIBES he is most like cutter, in that they are cheerful horrible immortal old men trying to end the world. i absolutely see where kepler and elias are both condescending bastards tho, and unlike cutter elias and kepler do not have a miranda pryce to adore, which imo is a major characterization thing)
but in BACKSTORY and JOB and ARC he is, horrifically, rachel young bcos (under cut for LONG POST):
bureaucracy
no really they are both just. such bureaucrats. like i know elias owns the institute, but his whole demeanor and actually the way he runs shit screams middle fucking management??? scheduling… hiring… training… performance reviews… terminations… i know the ceo at my job doesn’t do that stuff. i can only assume elias does it bcos he enjoys it, but it still makes him a whole bureaucrat.
i know cutter does some of that but that’s for special occasions. other than that it is rachel running around getting all the little but vitally important bits done. i mean when we first meet her she p much tells cutter she’s doing impossible shit for his goals. which leads me to:
working for a more powerful evil force, but totes willing to do whatever evil thing is necessary to further that force’s agenda
for all his grandiose dreams, elias is not the beholding. elias is not even the most important avatar for the beholding, he’s just managed to manipulate the Archivist for his own means. really he just works for the beholding, and is hoping that by bringing its big end-of-the-world plans to fruition he can achieve immortality
do i even need to explain how rachel parallels this
(p much both of them were like ‘it’s not like i particularly want to kill everyone but that’s what my boss wants and then i get what i want so…)
and they both tried to serve a greater purpose/achieve immortality/end the world bcos of a similar sort of fear:
“I realized life is short, and the whole “truth, justice and the American way” thing takes too long. It wasn’t boredom. It was urgency.“
“But as he compiled his taxonomy and codified his theories on the grand rituals, I began to develop a very specific concern. (…) I began to worry that if one of them successfully attempted their ritual, then I would be as much a victim as any, trapped in the nightmare landscape of a twisted world.”
neither of them appear to have any family/friends, or at least not any friends who they wouldn’t sacrifice in a heartbeat for their plans. actually both of them express like, mild contempt/confusion about the people they meet who DO have people they’re close to.
(like i said: cutter has miranda pryce. elias does not. rachel also, clearly, does not, and even urged cutter to sacrifice pryce for his plans. which, of course, he did not do.)
fucking nosy! real fucking nosy!! elias is a beholding type all the way and rachel was formerly andrea nash, journalist extraordinaire!!
fascinating in this case bcos both of them learned a ton of stuff but somehow not quite enough stuff, or at least did not always put things together properly. andrea had a story, but not the story; jonah tried his ritual over and over but was always missing something.
they both eventually figured it out, but only bcos of cutter & gertrude
andrea/rachel’s ‘i have to enter this code into my phone’ gambit is VERY MUCH like elias’s ‘if you kill me you all die too’ gambit. more death on his part and more information leaking on hers, but similar safeguards.
in a super weird way gertrude was to elias what kepler was to rachel; someone they were almost on equal footing with (but with fluctuations in power dynamics), who worked out how to put a wrench in their plans, then was killed for it
…parallels wrt ‘the greater good’ and ‘sacrificing your employees’ and then ‘dying relatively alone except for ur killer and not having anyone know how or why you died’ between kepler and gertrude will. not be expanded on in this post. it’s not about THEM.
“you came from just enough money to understand how big the gulf was between your family and the people who actually have a chance in life”
that one was said about rachel, but consider jonah–who was certainly some kind of upper class person in his day–actually somehow still requiring funding from the lukases & fairchilds. they have real money; he, somehow, does not.
“andrea nash isn’t your name. in fact, it isn’t even your third name.” vs jonah magnus/james wright/elias bouchard/who knows what else
yeah fine cutter also is this, but look… rachel’s v similar to cutter in general. just not quite.
which actually is how i see elias so!
got to explain the Big Evil Plan to the protagonists. rachel does it off screen but she still did.
pretended to be all caring and nice to at least one protagonist to get them to come work for the big evil company
the pure amusement in rachel’s voice when she introduced minkowski and eiffel vs elias purposefully putting martin in the archives after the dog incident…
Unfortunately Sexy Voice Actually. don’t judge me.
and finally: i really really hope that elias dies like rachel did; simply, ignobly, not even in a big boss battle, not even actively trying to stop the heroes, just fucking dying.

April 2020 Wrap Up
Tumblr media
Sooo I read a hell of a lot... I needed the distraction.
1.- The Girl in the Tower (The Bear and the Nightingale #2)- Katherine Arden
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS BOOK. It left me shook, everything felt rich and woven perfectly into the story. Vasya gets so tested as a heroine, and comes out with more understanding of her own abilities and the world of the chyarti. It was such a magical and immersive story.
2.-Words of Radiance (Stormlight Archives #2) - Brandon Sanderson
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
:00000 this is my review, it was so good. This world is being crafted so perfectly with such a care for the political situation and the different species with their culture. I am dying to read the next one.
3.-Iron Gold (Red Rising #4) -Pierce Brown
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Pierce Brown broke my heart again!!! I was so happy on how things ended on Morning Star, like I imagined at least Darrow would have some peace... well nope he is still fighting and has a lot of conflict with the new government they set up and the Ash Lord is still giving trouble. I really loved the mentorship between Cassius and Lysander it felt good for Cassius. But darn I was not ready for this , the political stakes are as high as always in this universe and can my son Darrow rest pls 😢😢???
4.- City of Night (Frankenstein #2) - Dean R. Koontz
🌟🌟🌟🌟
This book didn't move the plot that much but holy shit was it intense. We follow all our storyline were we left them in book 1 (Randal was scary but at the end I did feel for him) Victor Helios still thinks he has the upper hand even when all evidence points to the contrary, the members of his New Race keep having mutations and failures and it is only a matter of time before Deucalion finds a way to kill him.
5.- One of us is next (One of us is lying #2) - Karen McMannus
🌟🌟🌟🌟
I think I might like this one better than the 1st one (I still love Addy tho) it reminded me a bit of Gossip Girl or Pretty Little Liars (the text messages and gossip stuff) and I am a sucker for those, the characters were pretty great and even if I did guess who was the Simon Keller copy cat it managed to shook me in other ways. My only pet peeve is why does everyone has to end on a romantic relationship??? So wierd. But I still enjoyed it a lot .
6.-The Queen of Nothing (Folk of Air #3) - Holly Black
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
It was sooooooo good. I really loved this one, my favorite in the series I think. Jude really comes strong in this one. I was crying like a fool at the very end, it was a very satisfactory ending though I wish Tamryn had been more developed and had her own narrative arc instead of dropping everything in this book. That ending was so heart warming and cute.
7.- Petals on the Wind (Dollanganger #2) - V.C Andrews
🌟🌟🌟🌟
The drama. Gosh had I witnessed any of this I would have called the Police on everyone (yes Dr. Paul included). Cathy has the worst coping mechanisms ever. Like I understand wanting to get back at her mom (she totally deserves it no matter how she tries to justify herself) but bitch u don't have to base all your life on that or she wins. This fool getting into relationships with trashy ass man instead of pursuing her dreams earnestly. Like it could have been so easy to denounce her (you had proof you were her children and Carrie's medical records) and boom her money would be gone but instead she chose to be a dramatic ho and ruin all her life and the life of others (also fuck Julian, it wasn't Cathy's responsability to fix his needy ass or fix Dr. Paul's mopey ass he was her guardian yet he abused her gross)
8.-Oligarchy - Scarlett Thomas
🌟🌟🌟🌟
This was a heavy read, it deals a lot with mental health and eating disorders, and it's so so dark. I really enjoyed it though I would have liked it if it went deeper with some stuff like the ending felt a bit rushed, there should have been more build up for the final reveal but all in all it was great.
9.-LifeLik3 - Jay Kristoff
🌟🌟
I just couldn't . I never got used to the slang, the story seemed so predictable, there wasn't worldbuilding to speak off and the romance was the deal breaker for me, insta-love I can't handle.
10.-Tiffany Sly lives here now - Dana L. Davis
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I cried multiple times reading this book. It was beautiful and so real. Tiffany's struggles with her new life and this family she is just getting to know that come with all this inflexible rules on top of her mental health and coping with her mother's death.
11.- A Trick of light - Stan Lee
🌟🌟🌟🌟
It was a cute story, really with TONS of cómic vibes. The characters were pretty good , they did have depth and the powers were cool. The plot twist left me shook. Super enjoyable I really recommend it to any superhero fan.
12.-Infinity Son - Adam Silvera
🌟🌟🌟
It was okay-ish. I mean it wasn't a bad story but it was full of clichés and predictable. We don't get much on worldbuilding and honestly that last "twist" pretty much ruined the whole thing for me. It was an intresting premise but the execution was not great.
13.-Alex and Eliza - Melissa de la Cruz
🌟🌟
It felt so disconnected, maybe because Melissa de la Cruz usually writes Contemporary and tried to use the same tone for this one, but it just didn't work on this historical fiction romance, it felt too juvenile for me. I will still read her other books cuz she knows how to write cute romance but this series is not for.
14.-Family Life - Akhil Sharma
🌟🌟🌟
As someone who has had to care for a incapacitated family member some of this book really hit me hard. Still I think it moved to fast towards the end. It was a good story but the ending was kind of bland.
15.- Dreamland - Nancy Bilyeau
🌟🌟🌟🌟
It was a pretty fun read. I always enjoy a good mystery and this one is pretty fun, yes it is predictable but I don't think that's necessarily bad in this case, because it was more about the privilege and the Police being onto an immigrant because they are so prejudiced.
16.- The Princess of Cleves - Mme. De Lafayette
🌟🌟🌟
This is a classic about the court of France during the Dauphin's reign, there is lots of romantic drama and anguish very intresting because it depicts a very complicated and ultimately doomed relationship. But also it is tremendously intrincate on the factions between these powerful woman and the political drama. I super recommend it.
17.- Cranford - Elizabeth Gaskell
🌟🌟🌟🌟
All this vignettes were lovely. They are interconnected with one another showing us the life of all this color full characters living on a small town of England during the Industrial Revolution, all their moments sad and happy, their ambitions modest as they may be are reflected beautifully in here.
18.-John - Annie Baker
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
I miss doing theatre a lot, and when I come back I hope I can do something as great as this. This play is complex and emotional, when it's setting and characters seem so simple and first. It made me laugh and cry and even be scared and unnerved. I really recc it.
