What makes clone boys (+ the bad batch) feels to be loved?
There's this post I previously made for all the clones' love languages, but here's some little things you could do to show them you care...
Cody:
Kiss his scars, remind him they're a meaningful part of his story
Ask for his advice, include him in your decisions
Thank him, for everything
Rex:
Indulge in talks about the future, even if they're just distant daydreams
Offer to bathe together, just relax under some bubbles
Be waiting with open arms when he returns from a mission
Wolffe:
Spend all of his free time with him, even take him with you on errands
Wear his favorite outfits of yours (and lingerie)
Schedule some nap times together
Fox:
Recognize when he's stressed and help distract him from it
Wear or display the gifts he gets you
Don't delay in responding to his calls/messages, so he doesn't worry about you
Fives:
Defend him and his brothers, especially to those who don't treat them well
Tell him he's one of a kind, remind others how special he is
Surprise him with all kinds of hugs
Jesse:
Laugh at all of his jokes, even the dumb ones
Brag about him to your friends, show him off
Be flirtatious, a little bit of a tease, he likes the chase (even if he already has you)
Kix:
Compliment his appearance, tell him when he looks cute or sexy, he'll eat it up
Any kind of thoughtful or fun surprise is always welcome
Impromptu massages
Tup:
Be patient with him, he likes to do things in his own time
Smile whenever you see him
Respect his desire for privacy, no PDA
Hardcase:
Ask him out on fun dates
Let him help you, don't dismiss him by pretending to be okay when you aren't
Give him little things to remember you by when he's away
Dogma:
Remember the little details he shares
Write to him while he's away, the sappier the better
Learn to speak Mando'a
Echo:
Don't focus on his flaws, be encouraging of his strengths
Tell him secrets, things you don't share with anyone else but him
Be a sounding board for any ideas, thoughts, or venting
Hunter:
Take an interest in his brothers, even help take care of them when needed
Randomly give him little kisses, anywhere and everywhere
Be mindful of his sensory limitations, design your home to accommodate
Wrecker:
Call him by nicknames, silly or sweet ones are the best
Ask him to help you reach for or carry things, even if you got it, pretend you don't
Read, sing, or hum him to sleep
Crosshair:
Don't force him to open up if he's uncomfortable, trust is slow to build with him
Be physically near him as often as possible
Dance with him
Tech:
Send him funny memes or videos, anything that makes you laugh
Learn as much detail about at least one of his interests
Take charge during more physically intimate moments

Rex's Duvet
clone/clone, implied nsfw, post umbara angst, hurt/comfort
One day there arrives a package on Rex's desk, a fairly big one, that has nice things written all over it, like: You are loved or happy birthday or other things that could be connected to a lifeday. It carries a note written on the same flimsi paper..
Dear Rex,
We heard you still have nobody to bunk with. We don't want you to be alone but we cannot just buy you a bunk partner, instead we threw a little together and bought this for you. It should keep the cold away and help you feel hugged and loved by us from afar. It's almost as good as a pile and it's warm and comfortable and creates a comfortable and soft cocoon around your body, when you sleep. It's absolutely worth all the money in the world.
In dear and genuine love,
FoX, bAcArA, Wolf, cody and BLY
The package holds a "duvet", as it says, a blanket filled with some sort of stuffing material. It's big and super soft ans Rex immediately loves it. And now it's his, and his alone and nobody can take it from him because they gifted it to him. He sees the envious looks of the torrent when he enters the barracks with it and spreads it on his bunk (he's a captain he ain't got his own room only commanders do). He gives the other blanket to Fives and Echo who are very grateful for that little present.
The first night after the Citadel nobody in Torrent is allowed to get sleep. Not that anybody is willingly keeping them awake on purpose, but it is Fives who breaks under grief and loss, curled up in Echo's bunk, restless in his sleep, mumbling and screaming things into the oblivion of nightmares. He is the only one who sleeps that night. And when he wakes up he starts crying uncontrollably. It sounds ugly, he doesn't even try to hide it, and nobody knows what to do. Until Rex finally slips out of his top bunk and quietly to the floor then gathers up his duvet and crosses the room towards his ARC trooper.
"Fives, hey", he whispers, gently touching Fives' shaking shoulder, "I got something for you." He spreads the duvet over the crying mess that Fives is and tucks him in warmly, pressing the covers around him like a protective shell. Fives hand snakes out of their warm confinement and grab at Rex's. "Please stay", he pleads and sobs heartbreakingly loud. For a moment Rex hesitates - it has been a while since he bunked with someone and he's not sure if Fives would actually want that - but then, slowly, he climbs into the bed and wraps his arms around Fives' wrapped up shoulders. He places a small kiss on his burning forehead and buries his fingers in dark locks. "You're not alone, Fiv'ika, I won't go anywhere."
He tucks Fives' head under his chin and holds him close as he cries himself back to sleep. On the bunk next to them lies Tup, eyes wide awake and watches them with a blank expression. He doesn't move, nor blinks, for a moment Rex thought he might be dead. Above Tup lays Hardcase, one arm hanging over the edge of his bunk, he is staring as well, just less creepy, since he actually seems very tired and blinks a lot as though to keep himself awake. When Rex turns he see's Dogma on the top and Jesse on the lower bunk, Jesse doesn't even try to sleep, he is upright and reading on his datapad, not giving them any attention while Dogma has his head laid down on his folded arms ands watches them with a curious expression. Rex doesn't know what exactly to think of it. But reminds himself to ask them later.
When he does they ask if they all need to loose someone close to them to try out the curious blanket at least once. He tells them they were always allowed to ask, they just never did.
And the following nights there id always someone at his bunk looking a him with pleading eyes. Sometimes Rex just hands the blanket over - and feels terribly cold and left alone that night - sometimes he quietly denies to recover from the coldness the past night. And sometimes he just lifts the edge of the blanket and invites them in, soon his bed becomes crowded. There is always someone around to sleep by his side and he is not going to lie, he actually loves that. He feels more accepted within the rows of his men and less lonely and sometimes, before sleep, they even have small conversations and Rex learns a lot about them just by that. Jesse, for example, is a tiny little spoon. He curls up with his back against Rex's chest and draws his arms tight around his waist. He likes it when Rex presses his face into his neck and breathes over his shoulder. Hardcase is a rough bunk partner, he moves rather a lot and he faces Rex, smushing his face into his pecs. He doesn't speak before sleeping. Tup is his absolute favorite. He likes to be the big spoon and he does it magnificently as well hiding Rex in big arms and keeping him safe and warm, he talks quietly, gently rubbing his fingertips over Rex's face to relax his tense muscles, Rex feels himself always a little disappointed when it's someone else. Kix likes to massage his muscles which always leaves Rex a little flustered because, damn, he's got such a touch kink, or he is like a stone, spreads himself ontop of him and immediately falls asleep giving Rex no possibility to goddamn move an inch. But at least he doesn't snore, like Dogma who's actually quite cuddly but loud. Nights with Dogma are heavenly comfortable and awfully sleepless, thus rather productive on his paperwork.
And then there is Fives. Fucking moodboard Fives. Sometimes he's excited and likes to talk Rex into sleep. Sometimes he curls himself around Rex and falls asleep immediately and sometimes he's touchy and even somewhat invading personal space, roaming his hands all over Rex body shamelessly. Rex doesn't mind. He loves the attention and gladly lets Fives fuck him into the mattress without a single protest.
There is hardly ever a time when he is alone in his bed from now on. He doesn't know if it is an arrangement among the troopers themselves but they circle quite perfectly, always 6 troopers in a row, the seventh night he is alone, then there are another 6. This keeps going until it's the first one again.
Thus: at some point Rex knows when to keep oil under his pillow for Kix and Fives, or when to grab himself a datapad to work on for Dogma and Hardcase, or when to meditate before bed to calm himself down for Tup and Jesse, he just wants to cuddle.
There are times when he asks them to change the cycle, when he's in the early nights but gets terribly horny he let's Dogma and Fives switch places on their schedule and instead of doing paperwork fucks his ARC trooper. Or when he desperately needs to wind down he asks for Tup instead of Kix. Or when he needs to get shit done but got bullied into bed he demands for Dogma's presence. It's a quiet agreement they have, and nobody ever dares question the Captain's orders.

My guy, can I just say that I LOVE your writing? Its absolutely amazing and wholesome! speaking of wholesome, could I maybe request the clones with an s/o who wants a child? Or maybe the clones as fathers?
Wow thank you, I'm flailing on the floor from these compliments! Glad to provide some wholesome content for the fandom in these trying times... #bringcrosshairhome
I just did a Clones with pregnant S/O request, so here's Clones as fathers...
Cody is a dutiful father. He takes the job seriously right from the start, seamlessly readjusting his life to include his child as if they'd always been there. He'll take any opportunity to teach his child all the important things, from hands-on tasks like fixing a speeder or shooting a blaster, to more abstract concepts like being polite to strangers and apologizing when in the wrong. When he has to choose work over home, he makes up for it with extra attention when he returns.
Rex is a super-dad. His kids look up to him their entire lives, believing he really is a superhero. Think Jack Pearson from This is Us. He'll dress up for tea parties, and listen to the same stories over and over, and chauffeur them and their friends around town, and help with homework, and lend them money for when they go on their first date.... He's tired all the time, but he never lets it show. He and his S/O are partners in this endeavor; their teamwork is admirable and enviable.
Wolffe is a private dad. He keeps his family life separate, that way he can be the tough leader he needs to be in battle, and then let all of that go when he returns home. He's a secret softie and only his S/O and child ever see that side of him. They have him wrapped around their finger; he knows this, and loves it. There isn't a single thing he wouldn't do for either of them. They are his world. He gets sentimental about a lot of things and doesn't like how fast his baby grows up.
Fox is a doting father. He'd spoil the shit out of his kids. Sneaking candy when their mom says no, buying the toy they secretly eyed in the store, letting them stay up late and watch him clean his armor. He gets in trouble with his S/O a lot, but he can't help it. He wants to give his kids the entire galaxy. He can discipline them when necessary, and because he only does so sparingly, his kids take it seriously and never act that way again. He thinks they are just perfect.
Fives is a proud dad. Everything his children do is amazing. He keeps every last drawing or craft they make for him. He recounts every milestone of their lives to his brothers. He cries over them a lot. He is just in awe of how they grow up, all their strength and potential and innocence, he just eats it up. He definitely wears T-Shirts that have puns of the word dad in it, so anyone who sees him knows who he is. It's the most important part of his life, far more than being a soldier.
Echo is a nurturing father. He is very concerned with the health and happiness of his child. He's more nervous when they're young, wondering if they're behind in their development or whether their runny nose is a sign of something more serious. He's more comfortable when they get older, letting them do more on their own. He's big on communication and uses little codewords. Like, Cover-fire means he needs them to just do as they're told. DMZ means they're free to speak their mind, no judgement. Retreat means they need to rethink their bad attitude and apologize.
Jesse is a hip dad. He doesn't try to be, he just is. He never really let go of that part of himself after becoming a father, listening to certain kinds of music or having a fun night out. He doesn't set a lot of rules; in fact, he openly allows certain things that other parents might balk at. He figures it's better for them to experience these things in the safety of their home, rather than doing it behind his back and getting hurt. His kids like their cool dad, they're never embarrassed.
Kix is an affectionate father. His favorite thing in the whole galaxy is coming home to his children tackling him with hugs and kisses. He might coddle in the early years, letting them sleep in his bed or carrying them around everywhere. But as they grow, he's more encouraging of their independence, so long as they still let him hug them whenever he wants. He's also obsessed with health; totally the dad who never lets them eat any sugar or watch TV if the sun's still shining.
Tup is a timid dad. He second-guesses himself a lot, wondering if he made the right decisions or said the right things to his child. He does his best to learn and catch on to the best way to go about things, but it seems as soon as he's finally comfortable, his child has grown up or moved on to the next phase and he has to start over. He is best during the quiet moments of his child's life: reading stories before bed, giggling during bathtime, comforting a broken heart...
Dogma is a responsible father. He prioritizes rules over all else, but puts a lot of thought and care into crafting them. And he's created a lot of rules for himself, too. Things like always wishing them good-night, even when he's away on missions. Or never expressing his frustration in front of them. He creates plenty of opportunities for them to earn privileges or other rewards. He disciplines firmly but fairly. He splits the child-rearing duties with his S/O evenly, as well.
Hardcase is a dorky dad. He's not as hardcore at home as he is on the battlefield, but he still has a lot of energy and releases it through corny jokes, silly antics, and other displays of tomfoolery. Think Phil Dunphy from Modern Family. He wants to be his children's best friend. He tries to keep up with all the trends and slang, which just makes his kids cringe in embarrassment. He's not the best with discipline, but he does get more serious if one of them is hurt or struggling.
Hunter is an interactive father. He will never be considered distant, oh no. He engages with his kid on every level, being a constant and dependable presence in their life. He talks to them as a baby even when they don't understand. He lets them tag along as a toddler, indulging in their curiosity. He checks in with them when they're older, having honest conversations about whatever is on their mind.
Wrecker is a playful dad. Life is an adventure and he's excited to take his children along on the ride. He'd have a lot of kids, filling his home with sounds of laughter and fighting and joy and tears. He'd encourage them to develop a hobby and would attend every competition, performance, etc. without fail. Even with so many to keep track of, he manages to make each one feel special, they all have an important place in the family and never get left out, not on his watch.
Crosshair is a protective father. He knows he's not the best with emotions, so he makes up for it by always having his child's back. Looking out for them. Keeping them safe. He'd teach them how to fight from an early age, going to shooting ranges or on hunts. It'll be their "thing," a way for them to quietly connect through the years. And heaven help the poor soul who ever hurts his little one. He will not hold back in defending their honor and squeezing out an apology.
Tech is a chill dad. He isn't bothered by much, so he keeps his cool through even the roughest stages of his child's development. This ends up creating a sense of stability for his family, they can always count on Dad to keep things steady and real. He won't pry into his child's life; if they want help, they'll need to come to him. But once they do, he is passionate about teaching them everything he knows. He will support them in all of their studies, hobbies, and interests.

How are the clones' first experience in dealing with their s/o who gets super moody when she's nearing her period?
May or may not have saved this question for when I'm on my own period for more authenticity. Like method acting... method writing? Is that a thing? ANYwaaaay...
Jesse and Dogma would freak out, not gonna lie. They would not handle this first experience well. It would probably even be the first time they ever get into a fight with their S/O. Things would've been going very well, very lovey-dovey, and then all of a sudden she seems to be... different. Temperamental. Unpredictable. They do not like it, and do not respond well. But when they learn it's related to her period, they are ashamed. They will be much more careful next time not to let things get out of hand like that.
Kix would be, surprisingly, confused and clueless. Sure, he's seen it all when it comes to his brothers' health; everything from broken limbs to drunken stupors. But the female body? That he isn't so experienced with. And he just... does not know what to do about it. Why is she crying? Why is she ignoring me? Oh wait, now she's yelling? WTF?! He tries to do some research but doesn't like when he finds out there isn't much he can do, just let her emotions run their course and do his best to hang in there.
Tup, Fives, and Fox would be overly-accommodating. They would only see their S/O as being in distress, in need of help, and would bend over backwards trying to cater to her every changing emotion. Which, quite frankly, is exhausting and probably unnecessary, but their S/O certainly won't complain about being spoiled... or maybe she will, just because she suddenly feels like it. These poor boys will feel really bad if she does push them away or get angry, so she'll need to reassure them later it was just mother nature messing with her, and she still loves them.
Hunter would be patient. He is sensitive to her physical vibes, the discomfort and pain her body is in, even detecting the internal processes going on. He isn't grossed out by any of it, he knows it's a part of her nature and not something she'd ever choose if she could. So even when she channels that pain through her behavior, getting easily upset or completely withdrawing, he doesn't take it personally. He patiently takes whatever treatment she gives him and then immediately forgets about it. He'll never hold anything from this time against her.
Wrecker and Hardcase would be a bit oblivious. Sure, she doesn't feel like doing anything, but maybe they haven't suggested the right activity yet? And yes she's speaking bluntly and cursing under her breath and complaining of a headache, but it's nothing a nice hug won't cure. Right? Wrong, boys. Very wrong. It may just take their S/O snapping at them to take a kriffing hint before they pause and go, huh, maybe something's happening. It will take them a few more times before things start to click and they can be a little more helpful.
Rex, Crosshair, and Echo would try to keep their distance, at least with any of the more irritable moods. They are not interested in a confrontation with their S/O, especially if they know it's a result of her period, so as soon as she's in attack mode they quickly remove themselves from the situation and don't return until it's 100% safe. If her mood changes to something more tearful and weepy, then they'll crawl back a little sooner, placing a tentative arm around her and trying their best to comfort, despite still feeling like she's a ticking time bomb.
Cody and Wolffe wouldn't bat an eye. Even if they don't connect the dots to that time-of-the-month, they're usually not perturbed by any mood their S/O displays. They may have already picked up on some things that work from other bad days she had before this time, knowing when to indulge in her negativity and when to calm her down. They may be a little curious about the cause of the emotions, because they do like to fix things, but if they sense she has up any walls then they won't pry.
Tech would be prepared. He knew when the time was coming (best not to ask how), and he's always been curious about these things, not being around a lot of girls most his life but coming across the concepts randomly in his research binges to want to know more. He'll analyze his S/O's behavior and point out that her sudden mood swings are most likely an indication she's nearing her "lady time." He will be very surprised at the outburst that follows, and in the future find more subtle ways to analyze her.

Clone's with an s/o who is a cuddle bug? Is that an option?
I cannot stress this enough, not only are such soft, pleasant thoughts an option, they are a necessity on this blog. Asks like this make my heart flutter and my knees weak and my skin clear, so keep em coming!
Also, I did recently do some cuddling headcanons in this post, but here's what would happen if the clones had an S/O who loved to snuggle up...
Hunter wouldn't mind if his partner ended up being a big cuddler. He's a pretty laid back guy, so it wouldn't bother him to suddenly share his space with someone else. He is clear whenever he gets over-stimulated, but otherwise his S/O's cuddles are comforting. And he'd leave some of his shirts behind for them to snuggle with when he's away on long missions.
Fives, Jesse, and Kix are cuddle bugs themselves, so they'll just naturally fall into sync with their partners over it. Snuggling will happen anywhere and everywhere; they'll be joined at the hip most of the time. Even in the heat of summer, they'll find a way to make it happen. It's that important to their relationship.
Echo and Tech don't have much experience with cuddling, but are willing to try it more if it's something that really comforts their partner. They'll find it adorable whenever they nuzzle up against them, almost like a little animal pawing for attention. They'll also take note of the things that make their partners either comfortable or tense, and adjust accordingly the next time.
Wrecker would find it very amusing every time his S/O came crawling over, looking to nestle right into him. He'll laugh but of course he'll be accommodating; he has a lot of real estate to spare, after all. If he notices his partner is feeling down, he'll just pat his lap and wait for them to slide in. He's especially nice in the winter, being the natural heater that he is.
Cody, Fox, and Hardcase are kind of neutral on the topic. They don't mind a good cuddle sesh here and there, and it's not something they'll push their partners away from doing. But they aren't actively seeking it out themselves, it's more of something they'll just go along with whenever their partner comes to them.
Rex and Crosshair would be super into their partners wanting to snuggle a lot... so long as it was in private. They just can't bring themselves to engage in anything so intimate with others around. Their partners would have to respect that, and trust that as soon as they're behind closed doors, it'll be endless snuggles and hugs and caresses and softness....
Tup and Dogma would be more likely to get annoyed. They would try not to be, especially since they care so much for their partners and are willing to compromise for their happiness. But they do get claustrophobic and uncomfortable if cuddling happens too often or for too long. There would need to be some set boundaries so both parties are happy.
Wolffe would act annoyed but secretly love it. He has his tough guy reputation to uphold, especially in public, but having his S/O snuggle up to him makes him so soft and weak and just, hhnngg. He probably grumbles things like "You'll be the end of me mesh'la," as he opens his arms wider for them to crawl into.

Hello! I just wanted to say I love your writing especially your clone headcanons and such! I was wondering if you'd be open to writing what the clones and bad batch would think if they had a chubby/thick S/O ? Idk if you're accepting asks rn but if not I completely understand! I've just read all your other ones and was wondering what you'd come up with for them in such a scenario :3
Tumblr media
I'm combining these 2 requests because they're pretty similar, hope that's okay! And thank you both for being such lovely supporters of my clone writing, it really means the world to me 💗
Fox, Fives, and Hunter are high-key attracted to their partner's size. They're so soft and luscious and give such wonderful hugs ugh, these boys' hearts just may give out if they think about it too much. They love every curve on their S/O and can't fathom how the larger culture could ever criticize this body type as less-than-ideal. They'll be loud and devoted defenders of their S/O's beauty.
Rex, Wolffe, and Echo are low-key attracted to their partner's size. They may not have known this about themselves before they got together with their S/O, but now it's obvious what gets them going. Whether it's specific body parts like thighs, chest, rear... or if it's the whole package... they like them some thicc-ness. They won't vocalize it much, but when they do, it's clear their praises are genuine.
Realistically, Jesse and Dogma would've had a bit of a learning curve if they fell for someone of a larger stature. I don't think they were completely shallow before, but it wasn't ever something they thought about. Since being with a larger S/O, though, they've realized that looks are subjective and they were wrong to not consider that before. They love their S/O and wouldn't dream of pushing them away just because they don't fit some arbitrary beauty standard.
Hardcase, Crosshair, and Tech are into all shapes and sizes, so appearance wouldn't really factor into whether they get together with someone or not. Once they like a person, they'll see every part of them as beautiful, and won't be attracted to anything else. It will bother them if their S/O is not confident with their body type, they will immediately counter any little negative comment with a dozen reassurances to the contrary.
Kix, Tup, and Cody will only really be concerned about their partner's health. They know that things like weight and curves aren't always an indication of someone's inner health, so once they know there is nothing to worry about on that front, then they will wholeheartedly accept their S/O just the way they are. If their S/O did want to change some things, though, they would help without judgement.
Wrecker is a big guy himself, so not only is he 100% accepting of a plus-sized partner, but he's also incredibly empathetic. While some of the other clones might take size for granted and not realize how life can be different in some ways if you're larger, Wrecker does not. He gets it. But he's never let unfair stereotypes stop him from enjoying life, so he'll ensure his S/O isn't held down, either. They will be one heck of a power couple.
