i cant edit replies for some reason so i just wanted to add that you CAN post a story about lets say, gunther meeting lilith, max and lucas childhood best friends to lovers, wg and trash boy jeb, idk even a story in which we find out what happened to mila's husband. that's all fine and great and I'd love to read it. what makes me, anxious? is when these stories go a similar route or the characaters develop the way they did in Munch. they're premades we are supposed to come up with stuff for them ! the thing breaks, however, when it goes.. that other route.

If you want you could add captain remembering them to make it angst with a happy ending but that’s up to you

I could only rattle loose part of this, but man, this is tasty as is. I might revisit this more in a few days because...just the idea of slowly remembering each of them in turn. Delicious.

It wasn't necessarily a bad fall. It was a bad landing. Enough to knock you out for a while, and enough where your brain feels like scrambled eggs thrown in jello. Most things were fine, of course, but others...

"What...what do you mean you don't remember us?" The man who called you Captain as easily as breathing, the one the others called Mark, worried his hands, unsure if he should hold you or stay away. A deeper pain was there in his eyes, one your heart understood even if your mind didn't.

"I mean, I'm surprise the Cap'n's brain stayed in there, with how--"

"Gunther, please, for the love of everything, shut up?" That was the man with his bare arms out, despite the chilly temperature outside, and the woman bundled next to him who looked a little overdressed for the temperature.

"Perhaps, a blessing in disguise," came the largest of the group, and you still were struggling to wrap your mind around why you weren't surprised at the height of the man. That should have been surprising!

"What, uh. What do you mean?"

"A chance to ply our heart's affections once more, without concern of preconceptions."

"...What, um. Does that mean?" You speak up at last, looking between them all.

"We get to seduce ya again, Cap--" This one...Gunther! You remember that, Gunther gets cuffed upside the head by the woman beside him.

"What Gunther means is, we, as your partners, get to try to romance you all over again.

"Part...Partners? As in more than...more than one?" You blink, wondering if they mean just the pair of them, but something deep in your understanding hurts at that, thinks of the other two men.

"All of us, Captain," says Mark, almost whispering the words as he takes your hand at last, and you feel a touch more right. "All four of us."
