Street party. Hasn't been one for a while. Unthinkable a year ago. 95% of folks aged 16+ in the Inner West are fully vaccinated against Covid19. Leichhardt.
IM HAVING THE MOST INTENSE WHIPLASH BECAUSE IN STREAM WE JUST FOUND OUT VAXILDAN IS SCREAMING IN AGONY AND THATS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT AND BELL'S HELLS ARE HAVING A VERY EARNEST CONVERSATION. BUT ALSO I NEED LIKE. A MINUTE. TO PROCESS. VAXILORB, WAIT, STOP SCREAMING FOR A SECOND. DID YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS. YOU SEE THAT SHIT? also does fcg have cat ears? wha
Ok why is the going theory somehow simultaneously "if the gods die, people who are only alive through divine magic may die" but also somehow "if the gods die, Vax, who was only able to live even as a revenant following his disintegration due to the intervention of divine magic, will be a-ok"
Found this in my inbox from awhile back. I totally forgot to tell y’all that I got Covid for the third time a month ago. Like literally three for three.
ME WHEN SIBLINGS WHO LOVE EACHOTHER TO THE MOON AND BACK ME WHEN SIBLINGS WHO WOULD DIE FOR EACHOTHER BUT WOULD NEVER SAY I LOVE YOU DIRECTLY ME WHEN SIBLINGS HUG AFTER A BATTLE ME WHEN SIBLINGS FIGHT AND BICKER ME WHEN SIBLINGS ARE BEST FRIENDS AND ENEMIES AND CODEPENDENT AND DISTANT AND FAMILY!!!!
I don’t know why I hadn’t thought of this before but laudna does not only look like vex. they are twins, so she also looks like vax. and so you have the one that loved him, bringing back a copy of vex, but that’s not what her mind sees at first. it’s him. it’s her brother. dead again. what twisted cruelty is this to see him dead again. but no on a second look. It isn’t him at all, it’s that girl all those years ago on that tree. Where Delilah first tried her best to kill them all. Where her brother and keyleth first started falling in love. Damn
Liam always does fantastic character work within grief and sadness, and I am fascinated to see what he does with Orym, whose story is not defined by his pain. His husband is dead, and the circumstances surrounding that have led him to the Hells, but in many ways he has already grieved. That pain, while still present (will always be there, it doesn't leave) is not all consuming. Instead, Orym has been set up to be a character rooted in hope, in remembering and still moving forwards, in friendship and connection. I think the deliberateness of starting him at this point in his journey is both beautiful and a really interesting thematic contrast to both Vax and Caleb.
Forget the white boxes of chilled dead?
Forget the bunny suits,
That only that stood between my brother and it?
Forget the fear?
Forget the worry?
Forget the isolation?
Forget the confusion?
Forget the daily healthcare claps?
Forget helping set up a home office?
Forget the constant, methodical handwashing?
Forget the distrust of anything from outside?
Forget the mask sweat as I vacuumed my own house?
Forget the empty streets?
Forget the extreme meal preps?
Forget the front yard distanced visits?
Forget the skype calls?
Forget uv treating everything that fit in the box?
Forget Italy, approaching dark?
Forget India, the pyres of the dead?
Forget the anxious baking,
The long walks,
The wide berths,
The split of reality from science,
The ever-rising numbers,
The test negative, stay positive sign-off?
Forget the collective vaccination anxiety,
Waiting desperately for your turn?
Forget the war over masks?
Forget the sound of an unceasing sewing machine?
Forget the emotional outbursts of meaningless rage?
Forget the crowd phobia?
Forget the nasal swabs?
Forget remote school?
Forget the endless (necessary) fact-checking?
Forget the silent highway,
Forget the sirens ferrying calamity?
