i wonder if it's a visa thing? it's six months since he got his visa, and bahamas is like the closest place "abroad" from florida and a rly short flight, and ccs like dan howell have gone there for a short trip bc of visa issues, kinda funny- though poor tommyinnit if true, for him to renew his passport he had to go to belfast where nothing was open and george got the bahamas

nah it's for sure not that anon. george's type of visa is much more permanent than the one dan had. he's allowed to stay for i think three years before he has to renew it. with dan the issue was that he had a short-term business visa specifically for whatever thing it was they were doing in the us at the time and then you're only actually allowed to stay for that thing and not the tourist stay afterwards so he had to leave and reenter as a tourist
