There you go with another post of the Hogwarts Au, this time about the ghosts of the castle!🥰❤️🥰
I have illustrated the most important ones that will appear in the next comics of this au, two for each house:
Singing Ella: Ravenclaw, she attended school at the beginning of 1900 she committed suicide because of her classmates who thought her out of tune and annoying;
Duchess Jen: Ghost symbol of Ravenclaw was a Hogwarts teacher during the Renaissance era, she was poisoned by her husband;
Sir Gerry Acton: Ghost symbol of Gryffindor was accused of witchcraft and sentenced to be beheaded but his head was not perfectly cut off;
Friar Beardo: Ghost symbol of Hufflepuff was a very famous curator friar, he was killed by his convent mates envious of his skill;
Baron Ennui Walsh: Ghost symbol of Slytherin was a baron of 1700 he had to marry his betrothed Crimson but was murdered shortly before by his rival, Ennui lost his mind and violently killed the man and then took his own life to reach his partner ;
Baroness Crimson O'Connor: Slytherin, betrothed to Baron Ennui, was killed out of jealousy by an old admirer of hers, shortly before the wedding;
Rock and Spud: Gryffindor and Hufflepuff, attended school in the 80s, they were both senior year and to celebrate they got so drunk that they fell on deaf ears as the stairs changed, precautions were taken after that accident;
Hufff .... what an effort 😂
Let me know what you think and I hope you like it !!! ❤️

BUY SELCOUTH BY MARC GUNN
My latest CD features Sci F’Irish music. That means it is original songs fusing pop culture themes with Irish drinking songs. There are some traditional music on the album. But mostly, it features songwriting by Marc Gunn with guests including: Screeched Inn, The Muckers, Jamie Haeuser, Sam Gillogly, Nathan Deese, and Mikey Mason.
Selcouth means, “when everything is strange and different, yet you find it marvelous anyway.”
The album is not completely Celtic and it’s not just science fiction and fantasy. It’s a fusion of the two. It’s heartfelt and a lot of fun.
It’s now on sale in my Bandcamp store. Check out Selcouth now.

Maire emailed: "Dia dhuit! I've been listening for several years now and thought I'd finally reach out to let you know what I'm doing while listening. Most of the time, I'm studying anatomy. The music itself is far more calming to me than most other genres because it reminds me of hot summers of my childhood dancing for Trinity Irish Dance at Irish fests. No matter what, I always have paper and pen near by to write down the names of the amazing musicians showcased on this podcast. Thanks for widening my celtic musical world orld and keep it up! Slain! Maire P.S Thanks so much for pronouncing Celtic correctly!"
Charlene Adzima emailed: "Hey there Marc, I'm Charlene Adzima, fiddler and singer with Wisconsin - based all - female Irish music trio, The Lilies of the Midwest. As the pandemic seems to be waning, we've been reaching out to venues, festivals, radio shows, and podcasts to let folks know that we have an authentic, energetic, and charming stage presence and we'd like to get known outside of our small part of the Midwest. Our core instrumentation is fiddle, concertina, and mandolin, with the occasional guest guitarist or percussionist. With our Ohio - based guitarist Rick Nelson, we recorded a 6 track EP called Flora, which we'd like to offer you to play on your podcast. Thanks much and all the best! "
Peter Bengtson emailed: "Hi Mark, I was walking yesterday and tried to get on SeriusXM.  Something was wrong and I couldn't get on.
I got on your podcast  -  Episode 546 I think.  Once that episode was over, another episode started.  I listened to a total of 4 or 5 episodes.  This works great for me.  In the past, it seems that once the episode I listened to stopped, I had to go to start a new episode of Celtic Music or startup SeriusXM."
Check out this episode!

Hi from a curious anon!
Who would be your complete Anastasia dreamcast made up of both actors who have already been in it and people who haven’t?
BRO /gn
ok so my dreamcast with people who have already been in Anastasia... that ones hard bc i have favorites in each role that are from different casts but idk how well the different casts would work together. if i had to pick just based on favorites in each role, it would be:
Anya: Kyla Stone Dimitri: Derek Klena Gleb: either Ramin Karimloo or Brandon Delgado, my favorite changes quite a bit Vlad: John Bolton Lily: Caroline O'Connor Dowager Empress: Gerri Weagraff
as you can tell i'm really just attached to the obc and 2nd national tour casts specifically
now as for people who haven't been in it...
Anya: Isabelle McCalla Dimitri: Fra Fee Gleb: Andy Mientus Vlad: James Monroe Iglehart Lily: Daphne Ruben-Vega Dowager Empress: Christine Andreas
i had a lot of options for most roles, so i have a ton of people that i'd be ecstatic to see in the show, these are just an option of my favorites!

The Durrells Digital Art
Obviously, I’m in my feels and wanted to create something else for the reshowing that is happening Sunday’s on ITV. Canva is pretty limited on things in terms of specifics so I had to take some creative liberties especially with  Larry and Margo. This took far too long (4 hours) for how basic it is, but when you’re bored and in your feels, you gotta do something. Maybe some of you will appreciate this anyway.
**Update: Originally, I had included Luga on here but the more I looked at it, the more I didn’t like it so I removed her. She was the hardest to find something for and while I’m sad to have taken her away, I think this just works a bit better.**

“This has been… quite a journey… My one wish is that we realise when it’s all over, that we need to love each other… Just a little bit more.”
And it really was! The finest TV journey of them all, filled with laughter, tears, joy and a magestic scenery around it all! It’s been a week since “The Durrells” ended and I am still in denial. So I made a tribute. A tribute to this family and their friends and all the adventures they went through together, all the heartwarming and heartbreaking moments we spent with them. A Bohemian Rhapsody, that manages to make you smile, cry and laugh all at the same time.
What a treasure this show was… A real treasure I will cherish forever!♥
Yamas!

The chairman of the police watchdog, Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC), Anthony Neoh, said an international panel of experts hired to study police conduct during the extradition bill saga didn’t have a thorough understanding about the complicated situation in Hong Kong.
IPCC had included five experts in its panel last September after the government rejected calls for an independent probe and said the overseas professionals will assist IPCC “fact-finding study”.
The panel of five experts said in November that the IPCC needs more powers if it is to conduct a rigorous inquiry into the policing of the protests in Hong Kong.
In an interview with Shenzhen TV, Neoh said he already told the experts that IPCC must work in accordance with the laws.
“They don’t understand well our current situation. What they suggested exceeded IPCC’s statutory functions. I already told them: thank you for your opinions. But we must work in accordance with the laws,” he said.
The five-member expert panel was headed by Sir Denis O’Connor who served as a top official in the British police until 2012.
Other members are Colin Doherty, who headed the police watchdog in New Zealand; Michael Adams QC from Australia; Prof Clifford Stott, a social psychology academic from Keele University in the UK; as well as Gerry McNeilly, a former head of a civilian watchdog that monitors police in Canada.
Shenzhen TV reported that IPCC had almost finished a study into the conflicts between police and the public from June 9 to July 2.
It says a report would be submitted to the Chief Executive, Carrie Lam, by the end of this month.

They are not long, the weeping and the laughter, Love and desire and hate: I think they have no portion in us After we pass the gate. They are not long, the days of wine and roses Out of a misty dream. Our path emerges for a while, Then closes, within a dream.
